After all this time, I'm finally writing my own fanfic. I've been seeing my friends put these things out left and right, so I thought it was time I finally joined in. For now "Tsuchigumo" will be a two-shot until I can figure out a proper storyline after this chapter. I'll work hard to make this a good story for all of you fanfic lovers out there.
Fun Fact - I listened to a lot of Spider-Man songs while making this, ranging from the Into The Spider-Verse soundtrack, to Spectacular Spider-Man. Very fun.
(There'll be a reference to the Spectacular Spider-Man show. Can you find where it is?)

New York City. The United States of America. Home to amazing heroes. Izuku Midoriya had moved there due to his father, Hisashi Midoriya's job. Inko, Izuku's mother, had decided to join his father in America to not risk separation for too long, as he himself didn't know when he'd return to Japan. Izuku was excited about the move. He wouldn't have to deal with Katsuki Bakugou anymore, a childhood friend turned bully. Izuku was born quirkless and was ridiculed for it every day since he, and everyone else, found out, even being called "Deku" to emphasize his uselessness. He hoped some day he'd become a hero despite this and would save people with a smile, like his idol, All Might.
"Izuku," Hisashi had called out from downstairs. Today was Izuku's first day of High School at Visions Academy. Izuku would've preferred UA High, but seeing as that's in Japan, and there's no UA facility near him, he'd have to settle for general studies in New York's number 3 hero school for now.
"I'm coming Dad," Izuku had called out from his room.
"Izuku, I'll drop you off, but you need to be down here in the next… minute at most," Hisashi says as he checks his wrist watch.
Hisashi wasn't very strict, but he appreciates punctual behaviour and being on time or early for things. His son going to Visions Academy was a very big thing, and he wanted to be there to see his son take his first steps into manhood… whatever that meant. He had black hair, a style similar to Izuku's, with sharp but round-ish black eyes. He was around 6'2 and roughly 156 lbs.
"Sweetie, please, it's his first day. I bet he's just as nervous as you are excited," Inko says, holding Hisashi's hand. Inko was almost the complete opposite of Hisashi. She was more relaxed, and sweet. Very kind and soft spoken. It was rare when she yelled, and when she did, you know you messed the heck up. Inko wore her hair in a ponytail. She had eyes a little rounder than Hisashi's, and freckles that weren't always noticeable.
"Fine. I just want to see what kind of crowd he'll be with. This school is for very gifted people, and as gifted as our son is," Hisashi begins to whisper, "I wonder if he'll be able to keep his head in the game around the heroes… especially since… you know."
Hisashi was referring to Izuku not having a quirk. He, along with everyone else who knew about it, thought Izuku would never be a hero. Izuku knew this. In fact, he was at the bottom of the steps and overheard what his father had just said, but didn't want to make himself known.
"I'm ready to go dad." Izuku said as he faked walking down the steps.
"Good! Let's go kid." Hisashi said as he grabbed his keys.
Hisashi and Izuku had gotten into the car and waved goodbye to Inko.
It hadn't taken them long to get to VA. The ride there was so silent, it was disturbing. Neither Izuku nor Hisashi would say the first word seeing as it would be too awkward. Not even the radio would be able to save them.
Once they arrived, Izuku had grabbed his bags, giving his father a hug as he was getting ready to enter a new life.

Miles Morales had just walked into school when his phone had started ringing. A call from "Peter Parker - SM".
"Hey Peter," Miles says as he walks farther into the school.
"Miles! Hey, so I'm gonna have to cancel today's lesson. Rhino escaped… again. If I get him back to the Raft quickly, we can probably make up for lost ti-"
"Peter? Hello?"
The phone beeps indicating the call ended. Miles didn't have a very good feeling about this, but he didn't have all the details yet. Miles, knowing Peter knew he'd be okay. This kinda thing was another Tuesday for them… except it was Monday… and 8:15 a.m. Which meant Miles had to hurry before he was late.
Miles ran to his dorm room and unpacked everything, greeting Ganke as he got in. After the two walked to class together, their teacher introduced a new student coming from Japan, by the name of Izuku Midoriya.
"I-I'm Izuku Midoriya. It's nice to meet all of you," the boy says as he bows.
"Izuku, you can sit next to Ganke. The kid with the headphones on his ears," their teacher says motioning for the headphones to come off.
Ganke quickly puts them around his neck so he wouldn't get them taken. It would be the 10th time this month, and he had just gotten a new pair. The Pulse 3D wireless headset, and they were not cheap.
Izuku awkwardly took his seat next to Ganke. Ganke chuckled to himself, noticing this. He knew he and Miles would have to show the green haired kid the ropes when they got the chance.
Class seemed to drag on after Izuku's arrival. 1 hour felt like 10 years to Miles. Ganke was making designs in his notebook, and Izuku was writing notes on what looked like hero information. Miles thought doing that would be a little dangerous, seeing as those notes looked detailed from where he was sitting.
The bell finally rang, and class was let out. The next period Miles had was History, while Ganke had Algebra. Izuku was walking in the same direction as Miles, so it looked like they'd be classmates here too. Miles slowed down to talk to our green haired bean, who had his nose buried in his notes.
"Yo, green hair," Miles called out.
"Ah! Um, h-hello! I'm I-Izuku Mido-"
"Midoriya. I'm Miles Morales. You were the new kid from homeroom, right? You were taking notes on heroes in class," Miles pointed out.
"Oh! Um… it's kind of a hobby… I've been taking notes since I was 4. I hope they can help make me an awesome hero," Izuku accidentally blurted out. He knew which question came next, and was dreading the anticipation.
"Sounds cool! Hey, what's your quirk," Miles asked.
There it was. The dreaded question that Izuku hated. Whenever he answers, he's ridiculed and insulted.
"I… I'm quirkless," Izuku says reluctantly, unprepared for what Miles says next.
"Well, I'm sure you'll do great, with or without one."
Izuku was dumbfounded. This was the first in a long time he hadn't been made fun of for not having a quirk. He was overwhelmed with emotions as he started tearing up a bit. The green bean wiped his tears away and wore a bright smile.
"Thank you, Miles," He says while bowing.
Miles chuckles looking at the time to see it was nearing 9:10. He grabs Izuku's arm and runs through the corridor.
"Unless we wanna be late, we gotta move," Miles yells as he bolts. He was fast so it didn't take them long to get to class. Izuku assumed it had something to do with his quirk. Once arriving to class, their teacher had introduced Izuku, just as the last teacher had before. He had sat next to Miles for this class, and were paired together for a project on different cultures. They had two other group members, Sasha, and Terri, who're both fascinated by Izuku and his heritage. To put it lightly, the two were weebs.

"C'mon Aleksei! If we go back to the Raft now, we might be able to reduce your sentence," Peter yelled as he chased Rhino through Manhattan.
"Puny Spider, I will not live my days confined in some prison. I was made for CHAOS."
Peter somewhat knew that wouldn't work. The Rhino had been on a tangent to destroy New York since Pete was 15. He wouldn't stop now just cuz Pete offered a "reduced sentence." And as for Peter, he really wanted to wrap this up and get home. He had a date with Mary Jane. If he wasn't able to train Miles, at least he'd be able to hang out with the woman he loves.
"DIE, LITTLE SPIDER!!" Rhino swung, crushing Peter with his fists. Peter was able to catch Rhino's fists, but just barely. A second sooner, and Peter woulda been street pizza, and not the good kind.
"Too slow Rhino. You know, Rhino's can move 34 miles an hour, but you seem a little slow," Peter remarked, kicking Rhino in the chin. He didn't take kindly to being made fun of, and he definitely didn't take kindly to being kicked. He grabbed Peter's leg and threw him through a building. Pete landed in an area filled with electric and power generators.
"This scene looks familiar. Didn't the other Spider-Man take you down at a place like this?" Peter was really messing with Aleksei, and was enjoying every second of it. He found it fun being able to get into his enemies' heads and make them mad. Occasionally it would land him in a tough spot though, and despite Peter being incredibly smart, this was one dumb decision he was doomed to repeat. And as a result in this situation, Rhino was charging at Pete at full speed.
With amazing speed, Spider-Man dodged, jumping over Rhino and shooting webs at his back, kicking him into a generator and landing safely in the middle of the energy plant. When Rhino regained consciousness and turned to face Spidey, he was already there, punching Aleksei into a wall, knocking him out.
"I wonder how long it'll take Yuri to get here. She normally isn't that far behind these shenanigans," Peter says, cracking his neck.
Just as he said that, Yuri arrived with around 4 other cop cars.
"You handled this well. With minor damage I might add. Good job Spider," Yuri says lightly punching Spider-Man's arm.
"Thanks. It took some time, but I got 'em for ya. Anyways, I gotta go now. I have a date," Peter says, swinging off.
"Hey wait! How're we gonna… He's gone… Someone get the T.O.L.V.!"

SOOOOOOOO… I did it. I finally finished the first chapter of my first fanfic. Yo, I can really tell why people love these. They're so fun to write! Now I just have to figure out a proper story line. One thing's for sure though. Izuku is definitely gonna have a run in with Katsuki. I won't go into detail, but it'll be pretty Plus Ultra. I can't wait to share this with everyone, and I hope it's enjoyable.
This is Blaze, burned out.
(That'll be my outro. What do y'all think?)
