Inkybastard: You read that wrong. That was Archer saying that Weiss is a Hypocrite

Memefarious: Unfortunately, no.

MM Browsing: Yeah, that was Archer being sarcastic

The Slysage: No, you're not the one I'm talking about, I'm not gonna say who. And thank you for the helpful input on the prologue.

Well, that's all for the Reviews, I'll do my best to answer your questions.

Legend:

"Clean your room!" Archer

"Please, clean your room" Shirou Speaking

"Why me!" Jaune speaking with his thoughts.

"Jaune! Tell me! Tell me how you did it!" Ah, there she is. It took a while for Ruby to gush about the bow I summoned back then. I mean, she did try to ask me yesterday. But she promised Weiss she'd do her best to be Team Leader, while Weiss promised to be a better teammate.

"I'm not helping you this time." Archer oh so helpfully commented.

"Don't mind him, just focus. Feel it and find a trigger." Shirou chastised Archer, and I can hear Archer growling through his teeth.

"And how do I do that?" What does he mean by a trigger?

"Something that could help you concentrate, as you're basically hypnotizing yourself to do it." Ah, like how a gun fires a bullet. So I just need something to concentrate in my mind.

"Jaune? you ok?" Ruby asked as she waved her hand in front of my face.

"O-Oh, sorry about that Ruby... What were you talking about again?" She pouted, annoyed. To which she immediately asked me to show her the Bow I used again.

"Relax, think of something familiar." Shirou added, but still. I don't know how to do it.

I internally panicked, much more than yesterday as I was saved by Professor Goodwitch not choosing me to fight against Cardin. Though she did promise us to put us together next class... Which thinking about it, still scares me to my very core.

"Ah, well you see Ruby. While I have unlocked my Aura for a long time, I still don't know to properly manifest my Semblance. As that time was something of a surprise." I tried to lie, but thankfully. She's quite gullible and can't tell when someone is lying when she has something in her mind.

"Oh fine, but when you finally learn how, you better show me first!" She made me promise, which I tried not to do, but the way she looked at me promised a lot of pain.

"Ah, right. You'll be the first to know... Hehe..." I promised... Maybe that's a bad idea, but what can I do? Her puppy dog eyes are too much! And that's something when I have younger siblings! Like, hers is too strong!

"Hm, while impressive. Not as much as Jack." Who said this was a competition in the first place! And who's Jack?!

"Wait, who's Jack?"

"Someone you don't want to meet in a dark alleyway." Ok, that's scary.

"You better mister! Anyway, I hope Professor Port wouldn't be as boring as yesterday." She complained, to which I can relate.

"Ugh, trust me. I'd prefer listening to Doctor Oobleck ramble on and on about history, than listen to Professor Port's life stories." That earned a laugh from her.

Normally, we would be with everyone else. But Ruby pulled me aside and started asking me questions about my Semblance, which made us lag a bit. But at least not like yesterday, which was something we don't want to do again.

"But still, I don't get how to do it" It's slowly eating away my patience. Normally this wouldn't bother me but come on! This is a really cool Semblance!

"Listen, I'm not the best teacher. Heck, I don't even think I could teach you as the way I was thought was extremely unconventional." Shirou replied, defeated and disappointed at himself for not properly helping.

"Hm, it is indeed an issue. However, with how things are going, I don't think it'll be long before you get the hang of it. You have a surprising amount of adaptability that shines when in a stressful situation... In battle that is." And there goes my confidence. Maybe trying to woo Weiss isn't the best start. I mean, she's the heiress of the Schnee Company. How am I supposed to impress her?

They told me themselves that they can see what I am doing, and seeing how embarrassing my attempts were. The last comment by Archer stung quite a bit.

"Wait, didn't you say that you've been having dreams about a fire?" Oh yeah, now that Shirou have mentioned it.

"Yeah, though lately my dreams are showing me flashes of a hammer hitting white hot metal, and as soon as the hammer hits, it immediately changes to snippets of a red haired boy." It's weird really. Those dreams I've been having, they're vivid enough to be mistaken as memories.

"Guys? Hello?" Huh, they've gone silent. Oh well, at least I could try to focus on Doctor Oobleck's class now that they chose to keep quiet. Ugh... Their bickering gives me headaches.

Now, Shirou wasn't expecting that he would be used as some sort of motivational tool for Zelrech to encourage Rin to put more effort into learning his Second Magic, but he. Being a person that won't turn down a request for help, has accepted Zelrech's request. Thus, he is now stuck inside a young blonde's body, alongside someone he didn't expect to see again.

"You're still following my footsteps" He said, his expression as neutral as steel.

"Yes, but I didn't push Rin away" His features frowned slightly at the jab, but he didn't deny it.

"How is she" Shirou blinked, clearly wasn't expecting that question from him.

"She's doing well, though she and Luvia are like oil and water" Archer sighed, fully expecting that to be the case.

"I suppose even in a different timeline, they'll always end up as rivals. Tell me, has Luvia attempted to hire you as her butler?" Shirou spoke, but paused immediately a tinge of red appeared on his cheeks.

"Embarrassingly, yes" Archer let out a smirk, reminiscing his own experience with the loud and boisterous foreigner.

The two went silent, clearly unsure on how to continue. Until Shirou broke the silence that lasted barely a minute.

"So... How did you end up in this situation?" Shirou asked, curious as to why his counterpart is present within the bo- Jaune.

"Another job. Eliminate the one threatening humanity" Shirou immediately understood what he was saying. After all, having been grafted Archer's arm have some consequences and a painful dose of blades.

"But I suppose, I've been trying to keep my promise to Rin" Shirou blinked again. Surprised at the sudden mention of his last promise to Rin.

"But how about you? How did you get here?" Archer knew exactly how he got here. But nonetheless asked his younger self who is avoiding the question.

"I... I was asked by Zelrech to help Rin improve her studies" Archer let out a shit eating grin, amused by Shirou's situation.

"Well, I suppose the old Vampire is unpredictable as his plans. But enough of that, you do realize our presence is slowly corrupting Jaune's being right?" Shirou nodded, while he is not the best Magus, he could tell when something is wrong once looked over enough.

"Yes, and the worse part is he thinks we're his superpowers" Archer let out an indistinguishable groan. Clearly uncomfortable being called a superpower.

"It's annoying at best, but the more we play along, the more I can gather information. After all, it's not only sight and hearing we share" Archer spoke, hinting to Shirou that they can still smell magic in the air.

"Yeah, the whole world is literally condensed in mana. In fact, I can sense a powerful Leyline beneath Beacon" That was a surprise for the both of them. Having able to share senses with Jaune, except for touch. They can smell the pure power of mana in the air, and when Jaune tried meditation. Their senses were boosted to impressive heights, thus finding about the Leyline beneath Beacon.

"Not only that, the Grimm are literally Mana themselves" When both of them had their first encounter with the Grimm through Jaune. Their noses was barraged by the foul scent of the beast's corrupted mana. Their theory about Grimm being creatures made by mana, was only cemented by the fact that Port's unnecessary rambling, did in fact, gave them a clue.

Grimm have no insides, and they disintegrate almost immediately after being killed. Their corrupted mana seeping through the earth before disappearing completely.

The most disturbing part is the Grimm have blood. As when Jaune's partner, Pyrrha aided him. There was a very noticeable splash of black on the dirt, and some even landed on Jaune. What's disturbing about their blood is how it immediately tries to corrupt those spilled on.

But Aura helped with defending against that. Purging the vile mana that tried to seep deep into Jaune's soul.

"But back to Jaune. Do you have any idea how we could prevent further changing him? Archer shook his head, causing deep sadness to take hold within Shirou.

"As much as I would love to say yes. None of us can do much about it, all we can do is to ease him in. That way, he wouldn't be as broken as us" Archer proposed with a stoic face, yet deep inside. He wishes for Jaune to not be like him. It's one thing his past selves continue such a path, but to drag someone innocent?

"Also, have you noticed something... Odd, about the Headmaster?" Shirou added.

"I can smell magic from him. Not only that, when I used Structural Analysis on his cane. Not only I got a headache, but all I saw was nothing but TV static, though there are some images" Archer spoke, retelling his little crusade on the Headmaster.

"Hm, not only that. The names I got from the cane are always starting with an Oz" Shirou added to which Archer nodded.

"But for now, let's think of ways to actually help Jaune control our Magecraft" Archer sighed, but complied nonetheless. After all, he has nothing else to do.

"Jaune Arc and Pyrrha Nikos, please come up" I blinked, am I really going to fight against Pyrrha!?

I meekly stood up, unsure on how I should tackle the situation. But thankfully, Professor Goodwitch started talking again.

"Cardin Winchester and Sky Lark, please come up as well" Uh oh, I don't like the look on Cardin.

"Now, normally this would be a one versus one. But, I have decided to change something and as such, from time to time. I will be asking two members from a team to fight against another team of two." Ah, so something to change things up. I mean, this should help with my own training, see how well I could handle myself. Well, alongside an ally of course.

"Don't worry Jaune, as long as we keep an eye on each other's back, we'll be fine" Pyrrha helpfully told me, somewhat calming my nerves down.

"Y-Yeah! Go us..." I weakly replied, as to which Pyrrha let out a cute giggle.

"Now, Jaune Arc and Pyrrha Nikos from team JNPR versus Cardin Winchester and Sky Lark from team CRDL. Begin!" Wait! No countdown?!

"There are no countdowns in real life Jaune, now fight and win" Archer suddenly said, knocking me out of my shock from the sudden bell.

"I'll take wimpy over there!" And Cardin is immediately gunning for me. Wow great!

I glanced at Pyrrha who gave me a reassuring smile and we nodded at each other, albeit mines a little hesitant.

Pyrrha launched herself after Sky, and I was on the defensive against Cardin's attacks.

But thanks to the efforts of both Pyrrha and Archer. Who bullied me in my head as he was instructing me how to properly hold a stance. I blocked Cardin's attack.

He pressed on, continuing to pound on my shield again and again. My shield arm slowly getting tired from absorbing the hits.

Cardin snarled and went of an overhead strike, which I took advantage of by deflecting the hit, making stumble as I spun around and behind him, hitting his back with the pommel of Crocea Mors.

As he fell on his face, I glanced at Pyrrha who is dancing around Sky's weapon. Her skills clearly seen by everyone as she dodges the strikes sent to her by Sky.

I heard a grunt from my front, and my body immediately moved on its own. I bent backwards, dodging the mace by an inch and slammed my shield against Cardin's overextended arm.

Having seven sisters can not only give you some home skills, but great flexibility as I had to endure their dancing lessons. And dodging random objects at large.

Cardin yelled in pain, while I rolled away to create some space.

I stood up and went to a stance yet again, putting my shield in front and my sword above my head, it's tip pointing forward. A stance I'm not sure where I got it from, but my body feels familiar with it.

I heard collected gasps from the spectators, and I immediately realized this stance. It's Pyrrha's own stance when she has Akūo on sword from.

"Hm, it's passable" Archer commented, clearly talking about my imitation of Pyrrha's stance. I mean, I'm only copying what I've seen her do.

After all, Archer made sure I followed Pyrrha's instructions to a T.

Cardin charged with a yell, and I briefly saw a green light wash over him, and information immediately flooded my mind.

"Snap out of it!" Archer yelled, as I immediately snapped out of my surprised stupor, and saw Cardin already jumping to slam his mace down on me.

I steeled myself, and felt my arm turn to jelly as his mace slammed down on my shield. But I didn't falter, and immediately tilted my shield arm to make his attack slide away from me.

With him off balance again, I thrusted my sword forward. Hitting him on the chest with enough power to make him fly.

"Cardin Winchester is out. Aura levels on red!" Professor Goodwitch said on the microphone.

And immediately after her announcement, I heard a yelp of pain behind me and saw Sky flying away from Pyrrha.

"Sky Lark is unable to continue. Aura levels on red!" Professor Goodwitch announced again. And everyone from my team and team RWBY cheered for our victory. Though Ruby, Yang, and Nora cheered the loudest out of all of them. While the rest just clapped... Except for Weiss, who looked like she wants to strangle me.

I can tell why she looks at me like that. I mean, I did copy Pyrrha's stance... Though she did teach it to me to fight against brutes like Cardin.

"Jaune! You did great!" Pyrrha was then next to me, cheering at me for successfully defeating Cardin. Huh, maybe this won't be so bad after all.

End.
