Explain
Ron had noticed Kim was acting a bit oddly and decided to follow her. Donning his own disguise, he watched her follow their new teacher onto the bus. But, as he ran up to catch it, he tripped over his loose shoelace and fell down hard. By the time he got up, the bus was gone. "Drat," he cursed under his breath but he decided he would wait for the next bus. He gave Wade a quick call, needing his help with tracking Kim down.
"I could do it, but it might take me some time given she doesn't have her Kimmunicator on her," he informed Ron.
"Alright. I do know she went on the 56 bus, so that might help with narrowing the search down."
"Yes, that helps," Wade nodded his head and then blinked off. Ron got on board the next bus after a ten minute wait and then sat down on the bus, Rufus in his pocket, as they waited for Wade to call back. "I've managed to find her through some CCTV footage. She's on this block of houses," he showed Ron a map of the street. "You'll have to go through them all but this is as far as I can narrow it down."
"Thanks Wade."
"Why are you following Kim, anyways?" he asked.
"She's been acting all weird lately. She seems to think our new teacher is Shego. But that's crazy. Shego would never be this nice."
"Hm," Wade rubbed his chin. "I see. Well, I hope everything will be okay."
"Me too," Ron added on before turning off the Kimmunicator. He got off the bus and began his tedious search of the houses, by looking through the windows. The first three houses yielded no results. It was only when he got to the fourth house that he saw something that would change everything between him and Kim.
In it he saw Kim. But not just Kim with anyone. Kim with their new teacher. Kissing hardcore.
Horrified he jerked away, only to knock over the trash can by the window. He clamped a hand over his mouth and froze under the windowsill, hoping no one would come and find him. No one did, after a frightening couple of seconds of holding his breath. He dared to peek up again and found them still entwined together.
Worried, and shocked, and just...just unable to wrap his mind around this, he left, dragging his feet.
Facing Kim after that was a nightmare. He didn't know how to look at her. Or what to say. How could she do something like that? Kim was kissing a teacher! That was so the drama! And both of them could get into so much trouble. "What should I do Rufus?" Ron asked, holding his buddy up. "Should I say anything?"
Rufus made some noises and Ron slumped back into his seat. "Yea, I don't want her to get in trouble but I need an explanation." Didn't Kim know better than to go around and do such things? All week long he tried to avoid Kim. Going earlier on the bus, not meeting up for lunch. The few times they saw each other in the classes, he did not meet her eyes. All the while she seemed to glow. Like she was made of crystals.
And she was super happy. Not about him, of course.
"Ron, what's going on?" She asked him.
"Uh, nothing!" he squeaked out and ran out of the room, leaving her with a hurt expression.
Even the teacher, Ms. Go asked him about it. "Ron you seem...distracted in my class," she told him once class had ended. She acted completely normally with Kim in class, so maybe he had imagined the whole thing? After all, he had only seen the flash of red hair that he had assumed was Kim. He hadn't actually seen her face.
"I'm fine," he said, and realized, that maybe he was in fact fine. Because he had just jumped to conclusions! Yea, that was it. That couldn't have been Kim. "Just...tired."
"Make sure to get some sleep," she told him and he walked away, with a bounce to his step. Ah, Ms. Go was so nice to him.
Ms. Go watched him walk away, as did a Kim who showed up by her side. "He didn't mention what was wrong?"
"No," Shego shook her head. Kim's shoulders slumped. "I know he's been avoiding me. I just don't know why."
"Maybe ask him yourself?" Shego suggested.
Kim nodded her head. It seemed like it would be time to confront Ron on her relationship with Shego. she wondered how he would take it. She hoped it would be a good reaction...
