In the beginning of this chapter, Stanley will start to narrate his early life while back in the old DIC. As a member of the Tempest Foundation, he will explain a lot of this organization's goals and position as the chapter opens up. On his way to a meeting within one of their departments, he thinks to himself.

"Tap".."Tap"...*My name is...Stanley. Stanley Tempest. I am the firstborn son of the Foundation's current Matriarch and oldest in my family-whom governs over the Tempest Foundation.

*Our Foundation and it's principles are not known publicly, as officially we are a collection of privately-owned family companies, that on the surface operate selling various forms of consumer products. However, behind the scenes, we are truly a PMC, whom are not known or funded by either the DIC or Confederation.*

*We create our own tech and weapons and sell them to our customers in the Confederation. Our actions help to facilitate our goals, which are "creating conflict to spur evolution". We believe that warfare is the basis for proper growth in all life, as it sharpens our instincts-as opposed to living in a peaceful environment, where lack of war breeds corruption and laziness.*

*As such, it is important that we always remain vigilant to anything that could disrupt our organization's goals...and just recently, we've heard rumors of a "shift" in the DIC's national spending, as they are channeling an exorbitant amount of money into several...unusual projects.*

*I'll be clarified as to what these rumors are today-July 15, 2016-, as I'm meeting with some of my family to address this matter personally...!*
After thinking this, Stanley will then approach a double door, where two individuals are standing at the ready. He waves to them and they then let him inside, where he then enters into a meeting room.
Inside, a collection of individuals are already present and waiting for him to arrive. As Stanley is now here, one of the people-who is sitting down and shown in shadow-speaks to him.
Matriarch ? Tempest
!...Ah, Stanley. Welcome. Please, do come in...
Stanley Tempest
Yes, Mother.
Stanley says this in a pleasant tone, as he now addresses his mother. A sole seat is left for him to approach and then he sits down in it, to which another person then speaks to him.

How nice of you to come, Stanley. We were just about to begin discussing those rumors we passed onto you from our contact, in fact.
Stanley Tempest
I'm aware...now, shall we begin?
Now, Stanley's mother speaks up.
Matriarch ? Tempest
Straight to business, eh? Alright...
Matriarch ? Tempest
Let's start off at the beginning. The letter you received detailed to you several concepts about what the DIC is up to, did it not?
Stanley speaks.
Stanley Tempest
Yes. You spoke of how the DIC's new President, Sacha Luisant, was moving a huge amount of money into several projects. Naturally I'd suspect the Confederation to be lending a hand in this, considering how two of the four leaders over there are Luisants as well. Is there anything more of this, or are they just rumors?
Now, another individual will speak up, clarifying to Stanley.
? Tempest
They are more than just rumors, my son. President Sacha is not only moving this money around secretly, but he also has several other Luisants assisting him with developing the groundwork for various different programs. Observe...!
Now, on the table in front of everyone, it will be reveled to be a computer that can generate images on the surface. As everyone looks further, the man who is Stanley's father continues.

These images are just some of what our spies managed to inform us of-without blowing their cover. One of them goes by the title "Nameless Captain" and is a close associate of yours, correct?
Stanley Tempest
Yes, father. I know that man's real identity...but, he likes to be secretive about that, so I won't say anymore.
Stanley's father continues.

Of course. Back onto these images, they appear to be parts for a platform for transporting materials into space. Look here...!
Now, Stanley's father sends over a image that shows off a frozen landscape with what appears to be the early beginnings of the Space Lane. Upon seeing this, Stanley speaks up.

This area...it looks just like something you'd see in Old Mervillia!
Now, Stanley's mother speaks.
Matriarch ? Tempest
Exactly, Stanley. And based on these other images, it's clear that the Confederation is also assisting in this project. We've even heard mentions that they have created some concepts that are of great interest to us. Look at these images, if you would...!
Now, Stanley's mother sends Stanley a few more digital images, of which show off the early forms of the Superior Weapons. Stanley is intrigued by the vague images, despite how blurry they are.

!...These machines...they look as if they are inspired by Banebrutes. Do both the DIC and Confederation want to create giant robots-like the ones we've seen in those other solar systems?!
Now, another individual will speak up from across the table, as she says-
? Tempest
We believe so. Anyone who saw those robots through the telescope that the Luisants put into space 16 years ago would be inspired to try and replicate such machines here on Gleen. Not only could they be used to repel the Banebrutes on our planet, but also those "variants without limbs" that they saw could be used as a mainline force-while piloted versions control them from a safe distance.
The woman suggests, indicating the first mention of a pilotable weapon that could be used to fight the Banebrutes. Stanley then continues.
Stanley Tempest
Based on all of this evidence, I think it's safe to assume that the DIC and Confederation aren't playing around with these projects...
The woman continues.

Naturally...and, this is where we want to discuss with you why you are here, as while all of this stuff is important-it's not why father and mother called you here...!
As the woman says this, she will bring up a image of President Sacha, to which she will explain.

Even before his inauguration, Sacha has been a very outspoken on the ideals of genetic engineering. The Pinnacles specialize in that field, but their practices are not yet at the scale of which Sacha dreams of...

Stanley waits for the woman to continue, to which she does so.
? Tempest
However, recently we've heard of two specific university students here in the West Islands, who are emerging as possible candidates to push the ideals of Sacha from fiction to reality. Here they are now...!
Now, the girl shows a series of pictures of both Howard Pinnacle and Susan Pinnacle to Stanley. Their faces shine in his glasses, as the girl continues.

It's come to our attention that these two individuals are almost about to discover a means to create actual life through genetic engineering. They have made several pitches to their teachers, but each time their theories are shot down, due to them constantly failing in their experiments.
Stanley Tempest

Now, Stanley's mother speaks up.
Matriarch ? Tempest
Thus, your mission is as follows, my son. By tomorrow morning, you have been admitted into this university as a transfer student and are to get close to these two individuals-without drawing the suspicion of any of the teachers or other students.
Stanley Tempest
I understand.
Matriarch ? Tempest
Once you are close enough, you will provide to Howard...this formula, which should complete his theory to the "first" possibility of two that we've calculated for you-allowing him to take the necessary steps he needs to finalize his experiments to that end...!
At this point, another individual walks into frame and proceeds to give Stanley several sheets of paper. The papers in his hands are the exact same formula that both Howard and Susan have been working on, but with a few added pages to detail the most crucial parts of the genetic engineering.
Armed with this, Stanley will understand his mission with clarity, as his father then speaks.

After you have given them that information, you may simply observe their actions, as there is a science fair happening at that university in just over a month. We'll have our own preparations ready by then, but you will have had to accomplish your mission at that point, as you will have a very strict time limit. Is that clear?
Stanley Tempest
Yes, father. I'll be leaving right away, then...!
With that, Stanley gets up from his seat and proceeds to leave the room. As he does, the woman will call out to him from behind, saying.
? Tempest
...Make sure you read the dress code of that university. You'd hardly pass off as a student in THAT attire...
Stanley Tempest
!...Yes, of course...
Stanley will now realize that he is dressed more like a soldier instead of a university student. Knowing that he needs to change his clothes, he complies with the woman, as he then leaves the room.
Then, a scene transition occurs, as a few days later...
"SCENE TRANSITION"
A few days later, at one of the Universities in the West Islands, a classroom of students will be sitting down. The teacher in the room will then get everyone's attention, as she starts off by saying.

...Alright, everyone. Place your pencils down and pay attention...

!...
Now, all of the students in the classroom stop writing and pay attention to the teacher. As they do, two of them are seen sitting next to the window, of whom are both Howard and Susan.
As they pay attention, the teacher explains.
Teacher 01
Today is the day when we are getting that new transfer student that I mentioned earlier. It's quite late to have such events-but weirder things have happened in my career. You may come in now...!
"Door opening"

Please, excuse me...
Now, Stanley enters into the classroom and walks up to the pedestal. As he stands on it, he then introduces himself to the class-in a proud tone.

Greetings, everyone. My name is Stanley Tempest, and I'll be transferring into your class for the rest of this semester. Pleased to meet all of you...
Stanley says, with a polite bow, to which some of the students start to murmur.
"MURMUR" "MURMUR"

Wow...a member of the Tempest family is transferring into our class!

Even still, it's so late in the semester...

I don't care about that. He is just my type!
Student 04
I know...think he'll look my way?!
Stanley Tempest

Faced with this reception, Stanley will be instantly a superstar all of a sudden, to which he then speaks to everyone-in a slightly annoyed tone.
Stanley Tempest
Hey...let's not go too crazy now...
He says, nervous that some of the ladies in the room might try to hit on him. However, his teacher eyes him nicely next to him, as she then says.
Teacher 01
You already seem to be smooth with the ladies. I like that...how about you take "that" seat just over there, as it's right in my line of sight.
Stanley Tempest
!...Yes, Ms. Sayoko...
Upon seeing that even his teacher has her eyes on him, Stanley wisely takes her offer and then proceeds to sit down at his assigned seat. As he does, he will pass by several students who smile towards him, before coming up to his two targets.
Now, Susan is reveled first, with Howard sitting behind her. The two sit slightly closer to each other, to which as Stanley approaches them, he will then sit down in his seat next to Howard, who then introduces himself first.
"Sits down"

Hey there, Stanley. My name is Howard. It's very nice to meet you.
Stanley Tempest

Now sitting next to his targets, Stanley will slowly turn to look at Howard. He will be a young university student, who along with Susan in front of him, Stanley will then reply in a kind tone.
Stanley Tempest
Same here, Howard. It's a pleasure to meet you...and?
Now, Stanley will look over to Susan, who then speaks to him in a very cheery tone-full of energy and glee.
Susan Pinnacle
It's wonderful to meet you too, Stanley! My name is Susan Pinnacle! Cheers!
Stanley Tempest
Y...yes...
Susan is now shown to be very bubbly and happy, which is off-putting to Stanley at this time. Howard then explains.
Howard Pinnacle
Oh, don't mind her, Stanley. Susan is just really excitable, as we are doing a series of tests for a theory later tonight-which might finally be the correct combination.
Stanley Tempest
You don't say...?
Stanley says, still offput by Susan's cheeriness. She then explains for Howard, saying.
Susan Pinnacle
This will mark our 50th attempt so far, but like they always say: "Keep looking at the sky, and eventually rain will fall!" Hahahahahah!
Stanley Tempest
R-right. I think that's the right saying, Susan...
Stanley says, still trying to get his balance with Susan. Howard then speaks.
Howard Pinnacle
If you'd like, we could let you come watch us. How about it?
Stanley Tempest
You'd let me come and see...so soon...?!
Slightly surprised, Stanley will ask, to which Howard will reply.
Howard Pinnacle
Of course. Our research is going to go public one day, so the more people know about it-the better.
Stanley then replies.
Stanley Tempest
...Alright. Where should we meet up?
Howard Pinnacle
We'll hook up at the cafeteria after classes are over, and then go over to the science lab. We've rented out a room inside of the building, as there is an upcoming science fair-where we'll be aiming for first place.
Stanley Tempest
Interesting. After my classes for the day are over, I'll meet you there.
Stanley says this cooly, as Susan then says.
Susan Pinnacle
Wonderful! We'll be sure to pick you up by then!
She says this with a smile on her face, as the class then resumes. Stanley also takes out some of his books, as the teacher proceeds to return to her lecture.
In the same classroom and at the same time, several class thugs eye Stanley and get visually upset in their seats, as the scene then transitions.

Later in the same day, after everyone's classes have concluded, Stanley will be waiting for both Howard and Susan at the cafeteria. Here, Stanley will be standing, to which both Susan and Howard will then approach from across the way.

HEEEEY! Over here, Stanley!
Howard Pinnacle
...
As Susan sounds off, she and Howard will come up to Stanley, who is patiently waiting for them to arrive. Once they get close enough, Howard then asks.
Howard Pinnacle
Thanks for waiting. I hope we didn't make you stay too long...
To which Stanley replies.
Stanley Tempest
Don't mind it. I just got here a few minutes ago, in fact. Shall we be off?
Susan then replies.
Susan Pinnacle
Oh, yes! Please, right this way...!
"Stomp!"
Howard Pinnacle

Stanley Tempest
...?
Suddenly, just as the three are about to walk away, a sound will alert the three to a group of people behind them. As they turn, Stanley will look unimpressed, as the group now revels themselves to be a bunch of university thugs. Their leader speaks.
University Thug Leader
Hey there, Susan. I see you've got a new friend...care to explain why he's your new pal and not any of us?!
Susan Pinnacle
Grk.
Howard Pinnacle
Rgh...
Stanley Tempest
...
As the University Thug Leader says this, Susan will explain-as he walks closer to where she is standing.
Susan Pinnacle
That's just because I thought Stanley was a lot nicer than any of you can be...!

Stanley Tempest
...
As Howard looks on, he will become enraged at seeing Susan being grabbed by the thug. He will pull up her wrist and draw her closer to him, as he says to her.
University Thug Leader
You hurt my feelings every time I see you, sweetie. I try to act nicely, but you just don't accept my kindness...
Susan Pinnacle
Ghhh...let go of me...please...
"Grab"
University Thug Leader
Hm?!
Now, Howard grabs ahold of the Leader's arm that's holding onto Susan, as he demands.
Howard Pinnacle
Let go of Susan's arm, already! Can't you see you are hurting her?!
Susan Pinnacle
Guuah...
To which the Thug Leader responds by violently throwing Susan to the side, as he then faces Howard and yells in his face.
University Thug Leader
Are you trying to tell me what to do again, you little PUNK?!
"THROW!"
Susan Pinnacle
AHHH!
As Susan is tossed aside, she struggles to keep herself balanced-but is then supported by Stanley, as Howard then faces down the thug and his friends. Stanley then subtly moves closer to the men in the background.
Howard Pinnacle
Like I've said to you many times, Susan just isn't interested in a guy like you. She wants someone who is gentle and caring, not aggressive and rude like you.
University Thug Leader
Is that so-!
"PUNCH!"
Howard Pinnacle
GRK!
Susan Pinnacle
HOWARD!
Now, the University Thug Leader throws a powerful left hook punch into Howards' stomach area, throwing him off balance for just a second. Then, Howard revels himself to be unharmed, as he throws another punch at the Leader's face-knocking him backwards and into his friends behind him.
"PUNCH!"
University Thug Leader
GUAH!
"Staggering"
"Slam"

Uhh..

Gr...
Now in the arms of some of his friends, the University Thug Leader will then regain his composure and point for his friends to back him up.
University Thug Leader
"Points"
Now, the thugs gang up on Howard, as they charge towards him, and a 5-1 fight breaks out in front of the empty cafeteria. Howard is able to hold off the thugs for a short while by himself-blocking their punches and showing some skill in pushing them aside. However, while he preforms well by himself, the Leader will then use some cheap tricks to temporarily blind him with some sand from the ground. He'll then pick up a tree branch and attempt to hit Howard in his head, but this is when Stanley will step in and protect Howard from anymore harm. Stanley will then manage to drive away the rest of the thugs, as they start to run away from the two.

Some of them shout, as they run off. As they go, Susan comes over to check on Howard first, as he was beaten up pretty badly this time by these thugs.

Are you alright, Howard?!

Yeah...I'll be fine...
Howard says, as he kneels over his bruises. Stanley then approaches and gives him a helping hand, while saying.
"Extending hand"
Stanley Tempest
You two sure do like to keep interesting company...
As Howard and Susan look up at Stanley, Howard will accept his offer and grab ahold of Stanley's hand. He will then say.
Howard Pinnacle
It's not by choice, as those guys like to go around and hit on the girls of this university. They always get rejected, but they are persistant-especially towards Susan.
As Howard explains, Susan's charms are shown, as she then speaks in an irritated tone.
Susan Pinnacle
Really, though...I wish they'd just leave us alone, as I am not interested in anything they could offer to me...
Susan pouts, as Howard stands up on his own. Stanley then asks.
Stanley Tempest
We'd best get you to the nurse office, as those bruises look painful. C'mon, it's right this-
Just before Stanley can finish his sentence, Howard cuts him off, saying.
Howard Pinnacle
I'm fine, Stanley. Really...let's just go to the science lab, as a setback like this isn't enough to keep me down.
Stanley Tempest
...
Faced with this, Stanley will take a moment to pause, before replying in kind.
Stanley Tempest
Alright...if you are sure...
Howard Pinnacle
I'm sure. C'mon, Susan. Let's go...
Susan Pinnacle
R-right.
Stanley Tempest

With that, the three now proceed to the science lab, where a scene transition occurs.
"SCENE TRANSITION"
Sometime later, at the science lab, smoke is seen to be coming from several of the windows. Soon, a small explosion is seen from outside while peering into the windows, as someone then opens the windows to let out the smoke.
"explosion"
"smoke"
"window opening"
"COUGH!" "COUGH!" "COUGH!"
Now, as the smoke inside starts to dissipate, the fire alarms have activated, thus causing a downpour of water to come from the ceiling inside of one of the science rooms. Here, Stanley, Howard and Susan are all seen to be covered in smoke and water, as they speak.
Howard Pinnacle
ARRGH...not again!
"COUGH!" "COUGH!" "COUGH!" !" "COUGH!"
As Howard cries out in frustration, Susan speaks, while Stanley and Howard struggle to cover themselves from the torrent of water coming from above.
Susan Pinnacle
Sigh...and I was really hoping this time would be the last, too...
Susan says, as she is drenched in water-making her clothes stick to her luscious body. Stanley is then reveled to be also wet from all of the water coming from above, as he inspects the document that Susan and Howard used in their experiment.
He then thinks to himself.
Stanley Tempest
*...This formula...it's very detailed, as it's pretty much 90% complete. However, since this theory of there's is still incomplete, I can divert the possibility of their conclusions into one of the two-just as we planned...!*
Now noticing that Stanley is reading their theory, Susan approaches and then speaks to him, with glee in her eyes and still drenched in water. Howard goes over to the fire alarms to try and turn them off while this occurs.
Susan Pinnacle
...Well, Stanley? What do you think? We've spent so long on this theory, that having more feedback might help us to finally figure out what we need to finish this...
Susan says, almost desperately wanting Stanley to give her the answer she and Howard have been working on for five years. Though Stanley will notice Susan's charms in this scene, he will still act as professionally as he can, as he replies with-
Stanley Tempest
It's all really good work, Susan. I can see that both you and Howard have put in a great deal of research into this...
Susan then says.
Susan Pinnacle
Thanks. Everything that we've studied for all these years has brought us to this point. We are at the cusp of figuring out the formula...but, we just can't figure it out...
Stanley Tempest
...!
Now, Stanley will have the opportunity to ask Susan her reasoning as to why she feels so strongly for genetic engineering-just as the fire alarms turn off thanks to Howard. Stanley then asks now.
"drip..."
Stanley Tempest
...If I may ask, I have been wondering why you and Howard would put together such a complicated theory on genetic engineering? Why do you two want to bring this discovery to the world so desperately?
To which Howard then comes back from turning off the fire alarms and starts off by saying.
Howard Pinnacle
Well...it's mainly due to how nature works, we believe...
Stanley Tempest
Nature...? What do you mean?
As Stanley asks, Susan will ask him.
Susan. Pinnacle
It's a really silly reason, Stanley...are you sure you won't laugh at us?
Stanley Tempest
...I promise. I won't laugh.
Susan Pinnacle
...
Susan then proceeds to explain her belief to Stanley, which starts a flashback.
"FLASHBACK START"
Susan Pinnacle
...It all started when I was very young and still living with my parents. The Pinnacle family is made up of many pureblood families, whom live over in the East Islands. All throughout my early life, my parents and those around me stressed to me over and over again the importance of preserving life of any kind.
Stanley Tempest
...
Susan continues.
Susan Pinnacle
Life is such a miracle on this planet, that the thought of anyone preventing it from being created is abhorrent to me. The lives that we have and the lives of everyone else that live on this planet...all of them are unique in their own ways. No one has the same thoughts; no one has the same desires and no one has the same past, which makes each and every single individual the first that's ever been born-and the last that will ever be born.
Susan Pinnacle
No matter who they are or how they were brought up, allowing all life to be born is my dream...and that's also why I want to create life in my own way, using this theory of mine, as in doing so, we can populate the galaxy with even more life-which we've created with our own hands...
"END FLASHBACK"

!...
Now understanding Susan's desires, Stanley will think to himself.
Stanley Tempest
*...Interesting. It's their dream to spread the seeds of life across the galaxy, eh? If so, then what these two ultimately want might be more closely aligned to our own goals...but, even so...*
As Stanley thinks this, both Howard and Susan will still be trying to get dry from the falling water from the fire alarms. It's here where Stanley will start talking, by saying.
Stanley Tempest
Alright. I think I can help you two with this.
Howard Pinnacle
What?!
Susan Pinnacle
Eh?!
Stanley continues.
Stanley Tempest
While I've gotten some insight into your calculations to arrive at this point, I think I can guide the two of you to a certain result-which should provide you an answer to this formula that you've constructed. It'll take a couple of weeks to do so, as it's going to be a while...are you two ready?
Stanley says, extending out his hand once more. Without a second thought, Howard and Susan then pick up his hands, saying.

Of course, Stanley!
Susan Pinnacle
If you can help us with this formula that we've been working on for over half a decade, then we'd gladly accept your help!
Stanley smiles sinisterly inside, but outside he shows a caring face, as he then says.
Stanley Tempest
Well then...let's get started by...first cleaning up this mess, as I can't start telling you my ideas until we have a clean work space..
Stanley says, as he then starts to clean up the gigantic mess that the two created with their prior experiment. The two then comply-while sounding off balanced.
Howard Pinnacle
Oh, um...yeah, sure.
Susan Pinnacle
If this will help us to figure this out, then...alright...
The two mutter, as they then proceed to help Stanley clean up the science lab. As this occurs, time moves on...
"MONTAGE"
Over the next few weeks, Stanley takes his time to slowly guide both Susan and Howard onto the first possibility that his family created for them specifically. He narrates all of this as many pictures of the three bonding are shown over this time.

My friendship to both Howard and Susan started surprisingly fast, as the two of them reached out to me for aid first, and I returned that request in kind. I then guided them toward the possibility that my family instructed me to give to them, and just like blind animals, they followed my words exactly.

The first possibility, to create organisms in our image-just like what Susan dreamed of-was detailed by my family to use live animals as a basis. By extracting blood and tissue samples from them, we mixed that individually with Consumer blood and tissue samples and used stabilizers to make sure the concoxtion didn't break apart at the cellular level.

Once that was achieved, the serum was then perfected as per my families design. Once injected into a mature Consumer, the serum should allow for the individual to grow parts of the animal used in the injection. However, the second possibility started at the exact opposite level-having the injection given to cloned fetuses in an artificial womb.

That wasn't attempted by Howard and Susan, since they lacked such delicate equipment at the time. So, they ended up going with "this" option instead...!
"END MONTAGE"
Now, on the night before the science fair at the university, Howard, Stanley and Susan are hanging out in the dorms. It will be specifically Howard and Susan's dorm, as inside, they will have a variety of computers and medical components scattered around everywhere.
Deeper inside of the room, one computer will be on and be calculating a series of results on screen. As it does, it prepares a vial of serum, before a computer voice speaks.
"Computer"
...Finalizing results..."Ding"
"Mechanical sound"
Howard Pinnacle
...Finally! It's done!
As the computer produces 10 vials of serum, Howard gently picks up one of them and is wide-eyed with excitement. Next to him, Susan will also be excited, as Stanley watches them both from behind.
Susan Pinnacle
I can't believe my eyes...after so long of working on this formula, it's finally finished and ready for use..."cries"
Now, Susan starts to cry a little, as the results of all of her work for the past 6 years will be over. Then, Stanley speaks.
Stanley Tempest

Susan asks, in a surprised tone. Stanley continues, as he holds out the vials in question to both Howard and Susan-indicating that he DOES have the vials ready for use.

Of course. It's only natural to have the serum and an antidote ready-especially since the science fair is coming up tomorrow morning and you two are still gunning for first place.

Faced with this, both Howard and Susan will be more relaxed to the idea of using the serum on themselves. Thus, Howard will then step forward, as he then says.

As Susan shows some worry for Howard, he will speak to her, saying.

It's alright, Susan. I trust Stanley, as without him, we'd still be having our experiments blow up in our faces. If Stanley says he has an antidote, then I trust him that it'll work.
Upon hearing Howards trust in Stanley, he will look at him with a genuinely kind smile. Howard's words will make Stanley say this.

This antidote will return you to normal, Howard. I promise.
To which Howard will then say.

I believe you. Though...how about we move this over to the science lab, as I'm nervous about putting this serum into my body. Maybe a short walk and some fresh air will help to calm me down...

Of course. I'd be just as worried as you, if I were in your shoes. Let's go.

Right...
While Stanley is confident, Susan will sound worried still, as the three then pack up the vials and then leave the room. Susan will hold onto the 10 vials with the serum, while Stanley will have the antidote. Howard walks as is, as the scene transitions.
"SCENE TRANSITON"
Now at the science lab, the trio of friends will open the door and head inside, where they start to walk over to the room that they usually use. However, as they approach, they will notice something is wrong with the door.

...! Hey, isn't that door supposed to be...locked?!

Now, both Susan and Howard will notice that something is wrong with the door leading to the room that they use. As they approach, Susan will then open the half-open door, to which inside, the room will be as dark as the night.

As Susan and Howard enter inside, they will look around and see through the darkness that some of the equipment is broken. They then speak.

"Gasp!" Someone broke some of the instruments!
Susan says, as she looks carefully at some of the tech around in the shadows. Howard then says.

Stanley! Can you turn on the lights for us?! We need to let the principle know about this...
Howard asks, as he focuses on the destruction in the shadows. A moment later, Stanley replies with.

Yeah, sure...!
"Lights turn on"
Now with the lights on, several individuals jump out from out of nowhere. They shout.

As two thugs jump out from the sides of the tables, three of them go after both Susan and Howard. Being distracted by investigating the destruction in the room, both are caught completely off guard, as the thugs then proceed to wrestle them to the ground.
At the entrance to the room, Stanley sees this happening and appears to have been expecting this to occur, as he doesn't even try to stop the man behind him from delivering a sharp shock to the back of his neck.

They smile sinisterly at him, as Stanley then falls to his knees and then onto the floor.

Now, as the thugs from behind Stanley walk into the room, the leader will talk haughtily-as his other buddies will have Susan and Howard both tied up. As they rummage through Susan's and Howard's pockets, two of them will approach their leader, as he speaks.

How nice of you three to come in here tonight. I've been watching you, ever since Stanley came to this university, and I have to say that I'm really interested in this whole "genetic engineering" you three have been doing...!

Now, Howard demands answers from the thugs, as he shouts.

To which the University Thug Leader looks down on him, as he approaches and then kneels down to his level. He then explains, while holding out one of the vials.

I talked to the teachers you used to present your ideas to and learned what it was you are trying to display for tomorrow's science fair. That's when I got the idea that tonight, I should try this little stunt...and finally come up with a way for Susan to be my girlfriend.

Susan is dumbfounded, as she has her hands tied behind her back-much like Howard. Since Stanley was shocked, though, the thugs around him won't think he needs to be physically restrained, as the University Thug Leader continues.

Of course. You are the only girl who rejected me so many times in my life, as after a little "ruffing up" those other girls, they would eventually play with my friends here. But not you-mainly due to you always hanging around a loser like Howard here...

Susan says, worried that this thug might try to rape her. However, the University Thug Leader instead looks at the vials in his hand, and then picks out a few of them that interest him. He then says.

As the Thug leader leans in closer to Susan, he will prepare to inject the vial of serum into Susans' arm. She will be unable to move, as she begs him to stop, while Howard shouts at the guy.

Now, the University Thug grabs ahold of Susan's arm once more, this time intent on injecting her with the Serum from the vial. However, just before he does so, across the way on the floor, Stanley now gets up from his electrocution and moves his body very skillfully.

Now on his feet, Stanley will manage to knock out the two thugs around him, which then gets the attention of the other three in the room. Surprised, the remaining two thugs charge him, but he easily knocks away one of them, while the other is tossed onto the side of a table. He then grabs a chair and picks it up to hit Stanley with, to which he then "INTENTIONALLY" moves his body so that the chair hits a part of his pants, while then moving the rest of his body to knock away the chair. He then knocks out this thug and the other, until now only the leader is left.
It's here where the University Thug Leader stands up and confronts Stanley, as he says.

...Shit, you are good. And you can even brush off a zap from a taser like it's nothing...you are most certainly not a normal transfer student...

Stanley will not reply to the Thug Leader, as he looks down at Howard-who is now seen to be just about to get himself out of the ropes on his arms. He will have had a small pocket knife in his back pocket, which he will be using now, to which Stanley then just has to stall for time, as he then speaks with the Leader's attention on him.

Now shocked, the University Thug Leader will have the hand of Howard on his shoulder from behind. A moment later, Howard delivers a powerful punch to the gut of the thug, sending him flying into the air.

As the University Thug Leader flies, he then crashed into the ground with such force that the vials that were in his hand fly onto the floor. While 5 of them remain intact, 5 other vials are not so lucky-smashing open and spilling the precious liquid onto the floor.
With that, the brutal fight then ends, as Stanley then speaks to Howard.

Howard...good job knocking him out, as just a few moments later and I would've done the same thing...
Stanley says, as Howard then proceeds to cut the ropes on Susans' arms. He speaks.

Now with Susan free, Howard helps her stand up. As he does so, Stanley is seen kneeling down at the site of the crashed vials of serum, as he picks up the vials that are still intact and then speaks.

...Sigh...looks like half of the vials we spent all this time creating are destroyed. These five are still good-even though this one has a crack on it...
Stanley explains, while holding out the 5 remaining vials in front of Susan and Howard. The two look at them worried, as Howard says.

Howard says, while looking at the knocked out thug leader on the floor. Susan then speaks up.

Stanley cuts off Susan, as he takes out the vial that he had in his pocket and shows it to the two.

Stanley says, as he shows Susan the destroyed vial that he had and was the antidote. It's contents will have leaked out into the back of Stanley's pants, to which with this, both Howard and Susan will be devastated by this turn of events.

Stanley will then ask this, in a curious tone.

We still have 5 vials intact, along with...5 thugs that are knocked out on the floor. Since I'm sure Howard is still feeling unsure of injecting himself with this serum, how about we instead inject these people with the serum and see what effect it has on them?

Shocked to hear this, Howard will then say.

W...while I don't condone anything that these 5 have done-especially after tonight, we can't just inject them with the serum-especially when the antidote is broken like you've shown us...
Howard says, worried that without the antidote, the serum might kill the 5 thugs. Stanley then looks to his left at the table and then picks up a small jar-much larger than a vial of serum, and then presents it to Howard and Susan, as he says.

Remembering this, Susan will relax, as Stanley then says.

...I'll get ready to work on making more antidote right away. While I do that, could I ask for you to get these people tied up with that excess rope?

Now looking down at the floor to where Stanley is pointing, Susan will realize that the amount of rope that the thugs brought into the room with them to tie up both her and Howard will be an excess amount.
Thus, Stanley will then say.

We can use that rope to tie these people down to those boards over there, which will help to allow us to display them for tomorrow's science fair. Afterwards, we'll just explain to the teachers that the antidote for their "transformations" will be given to them by the evening, and then everything should be just fine.

Susan says, as she then proceeds to pick up the rope laying on the ground. Howard then speaks to Stanley, saying.

As Stanley says this, the scene will then transition, as time moves on.

The next morning, the Science Fair will be in full swing, as many students are now showing off their science experiments in front of the cafeteria from before. As many of the students show off their projects, Stanley will be seen inside of the bathroom by himself, as he secretly communicates with his family while on a phone.

Now, a voice will explain to him on his phone.

We've already notified the Pinnacle's security and they are standing by. They won't want to associate with either Howard or Susan after this, but you may still befriend them so they don't suspect you of any wrong doing.

Thank you. I've also gone ahead and left the second possibility for them to find in Howard's room. I'm sure they will be lenient with his punishment, after seeing that option.
As the two discuss this, it becomes clear that Stanley has taken a soft spot towards both Howard and Susan. Thus, the call will then cut off with the final mention from the person on the other side.

Now, Stanley finishes his business inside of the bathroom and then walks out, to which he has to move around some people to get to the booth where Howard and Susan are. The moment Susan spots Stanley, she rushes over to him and says.

Now on stage with Susan, she drags Stanley over to where Howard is, as he is just about to show off his project to everyone who has now gathered. Now, Howard begins by announcing to those who have gathered.

Welcome, everyone! Thank you all for gathering here today! I'd like to show you all the future of genetic engineering, as me and my friend Susan have just made a breakthrough last night!
Now, Howard prepares to show off his creations, who are seen briefly behind a large curtain. They appear restless, as one of them begins to strain his restraints.

Back with Howard, he explains.

What I, Susan and Stanley have created is a serum that, when injected into a host, allows for them to develop parts of an animal-without any detrimental side effects. An antidote for their new forms will be ready to administer later today, so don't worry about them looking like this...!
Now, Susan goes ahead and removes the curtain for everyone to see the University Thugs from last night. However, they no longer look like what they did prior, as they now have various different animal parts all over their bodies. Not only that, but they also have several animal features, such as fur, claws and even scales.
Some of the people who have gathered are seen to murmur, while others'-specifically the teachers-will be very interested in the display.
"MURMUR" "MURMUR"
As the people talk, some of the teachers will now approach the stand where Howard and Susan are standing-while Stanley will be seen in the background. They will not attempt to stop the display, as they simply ask Howard to quietly come over and explain to them a few things. He agrees to not worry the crowd, where Howard will then try to explain the situation, as the teachers and Ms. Sayoko from the other month want answers. They ask.

Howard...while I'll applaud you and Susan for finally perfecting your little project, don't you think this goes a little too far?

Not at all, sir. We just wanted to demonstrate our results to everyone, and as I've just said, an antidote is on the way-thanks to Stanley right over there...

Still...did you even ask these five if they were alright with being injected with such a serum? I recall you and Susan always being confronted by them often, and it wasn't just a friendly conversation...

...I didn't ask for their permission, but I'll make sure that they are treated by that antidote later today. Please...won't you just let me and Susan finally show the world our passion? We've worked on this for the past 6 years already...

Faced with this, Howard will be seemingly begging his teachers to allow for the show to continue. His desperation will win them over, as Ms. Sayoko then says.

...Alright, but we will only agree to giving you 10 more minutes. After that, you have to stop this and go straight to the principle's office, where we'll want you to explain everything that you and Susan did to these 5, is that clear?
Howard smiles, as he then says.

With that, the teachers then cautiously return back to their seats, as Howard then prepares to wrap up his demonstration to the people who have gathered. He speaks.

Now, Susan brings out the University Thug Leader from before, who has now been transformed into a half Consumer/half Wolfman creature. He has several features like that of a wolf, such as ears, claws and a transformed body-complete with fur and reversed limbs. As he is brought forward, Howard then explains to the people.

This person's body has now been transformed into that of a wolf-complete with fur and reversed limbs. All of this was possibly from a single vial of serum, which when administered just last night changed him to look like this.

A second later, the University Thug Leader in his transformed body will then strike at Howard's face, knocking him down-along with the beast. As this happens, the beast is about to strike at Howard some more, but stops, as he then looks behind him at the people who were just making fun of him.

As the people are about to panic, the University Thug Leader then runs straight for the crowd of people.
"SPRINTING"
To which just before he's about to strike at some of the people, suddenly, a single gunshot is fired from somewhere.

As the bullet hits the University Thug Leader, his body then slumps over and falls onto his face on the ground. A moment later, the person who shot this man will be reveled to have been the Nameless Captain himself, as he and several other Pinnacle security people will then charge in to contain the situation. They speak.

Everybody please calm down! Proceed outside in an orderly manner!

With that, the security people then proceed to take immediate action of the situation, while Susan tends to Howard. As she helps him stand up, the Nameless Captain then approaches him and speaks to him directly.

Mr. Howard. Ms. Susan. Your parents are on the line right now in the principle's office. I suggest you do not keep them waiting...

Both look confused, to which Stanley then steps in to protect them both, saying.

The Nameless Captain is taken aback from Stanley's sudden interjection from Stanley-since he does know him personally. A moment later, the Nameless Captain replies.

...I'm not sure what you could offer to the Pinnacles, since the Tempests are currently unknown to them. While you may attend for your part in all of this as well, I can't guarantee anything will change.

Seeing that Stanley is sticking up for them, both Howard and Susan will be relieved-but Stanley will then look over to the lifeless body of the University Thug Leader who was killed just now. Blood is on the floor from the individual, to which as this is shown, time moves on.
"A FEW DAYS LATER"
After a couple of days, the media is shown to narrate the events of this day to the masses. She explains.

...And so, according to direct testimonies from the Pinnacle family, two of their members have been ousted from the family starting today. They have once again pubicly stated that the experiment which costed the life of a university student was not supported by them in any way.

In an even more surprising turn, despite what happened, the University has chosen NOT to sentence the people responsible to jail, nor have they expelled them either. An investigation was preformed into the room of the two masterminds behind this incident, which yielded a treasure-trove of new information-of which the Pinnacle family promptly seized, instead of destroying.
As the Spokeswoman says this, a brief shot of several Pinnacle members ransacking Howard and Susan's room is shown, where they uncover all of their data-including some added files left behind by Stanley. These files pertain to the second possibility that Stanley mentioned earlier, of which the Pinnacles promptly take with them, while leaving Howard and Susan behind.
Elsewhere, another brief shot of the family of the Thug Leader will be shown, as they will not be detailed to deeply resent Howard and Susan for what they did to their child. They will not strike at them at this time, but the wheels will be set for them to bear a deep grudge against the two from then on.
Back with the media spokeswoman, the whole thing will have been a broadcast that Stanley was watching from his tv. He then turns off the tv, as he gets up from his room and approaches Howard and Susan's room. He knocks, and then as the door opens, Howard is seen to answer the door.
"Knock!" "Knock!"

Howard says, clearly depressed over what occurred with his reputation. Stanley then explains by showing him something very interesting.

With that, Stanley continues his friendship with both Susan and Howard-up until and past the time that they graduate. Then, several more years go by, as they continue to remain good friends, as sometime in the mid-2020s.
"SEVERAL YEARS LATER"
In a house somewhere in the Confederation, the time of year will be around the summer season. While it is still cold, people will still be able to dress less than they need to during the winter season, as in a wealthy district, inside of a mansion, Howard, Susan and Stanley will be seen having a meal with Rhapsody Luisant. Stanley, Howard and Susan will now be seen to be very good friends to Rhapsody, as upstairs, a young girl named Bijou Luisant will be seen reading an article dubbed "The Incident". As she reads it, she will say.

As she reads through the pages, she will not be very interested in anything that the article has to say, as she is more interested in just the pictures. As she reads, the chapter will then end.
