Luigi felt proud of himself because of the Last Resort staff had trusted him with such a role. Being the test man of the hotel?!? Luigi thought that could only happen in his dreams!

Luigi hung up the phone after telling Steward about him coming, but even after the call was over, Luigi just couldn't stop smiling.

"So..." Mario grinned at Luigi. "Was that Daisy? Did she ask you out?" Luigi looked at his clearly interested brother. No, it wasn't Daisy calling to ask Luigi out, but he couldn't wait to tell Mario what is going on.

"Well Mario," Luigi began "The Last Resort invited me to come and test the new hotel. If I like it, the hotel stays open!"

Mario just stared at Luigi. "Luigi," Mario eventually said, "Are you aware that maybe the ghosts might be trying to trick you again?"

Luigi laughed at his brother's comment. He and Mario were there when it was revealed that the ghosts were under a trance. Just how did Mario forget about that?

"Mario, I would be in danger if Hellen and King Boo were on the loose, they are not, so do not worry brother," Luigi reassured Mario. "Now, I'm pretty sure that if I'm going on a vacation, I will have to pack. Polterpup, do you want to come?"

Polterpup gave the most happiest face Luigi has ever seen since he rescued everyone at the Last Resort. Polterpup ran up to his leash and put it on Luigi's foot.

"Oh of course you'll get to go on walks during our vacation." Luigi smiled. "Mario, I'll be on vacation at the Last Resort, so behave yourself."

Mario laughed. "Oh I will Luigi, now get packing and on your vacation!"

Meanwhile back at the Last Resort, Steward just hung up the telephone with sixteen boss ghosts surrounding him with looks of suspense.

Steward formed a big smile while looking at his fellow staff members. "HE SAID YES!!!" Steward screamed of joy.

The other staff members began to cheer and laugh with Steward knowing that they still have a chance to save to hotel. To save their home.

"YES!" Johnny bellowed, "Now I need to get to my floor, the gym will need an immediate cleaning." Johnny was about to rocket towards the elevator, but Steward stopped him.

"Now hold Johnny," he grabbed Johnny's shoulder. "I actually have to call a staff meeting on this subject. So in that case, everyone who works here, to the fifteenth floor people, chop chop!" Steward clapped his hands while everyone reluctantly followed him to the meeting room on the fifteenth floor.

The doors shut when the final staff member came into the room. Boss ghosts, normal ghosts and everyone who works at the hotel was in the big room of meetings. This is the room where only important matters are to be discussed.

Of course everyone knew something like this is important, so no one was surprised that they are now in the meeting room.

While Steward was setting up a little projector for a presentation, everyone was chattering excitedly for this event, for Luigi himself is coming soon! Even Amadeus Wolfgiest was trying to get in the conversations.

"Ahem," Steward coughed and everybody began to quiet down. When to room was after-dead silent, Steward began the meeting.

"We all know that this hotel has gone through a lot while it has been in existence. Starting from the day it opened, to the day Hellen and King Boo hypnotized everyone, to now. We can NOT this hotel close down, so we all must be in our best behavior. ALL of us." Steward looked at the triplets who giggled nervously.

"So," Steward took his gaze off the triplets, "I have made a couple of rules for all of us to follow in order to save this hotel. Number one, we must put in all of our effort to keep this hotel CLEAN. Nothing under the couch cushions, no hiding any trash, and absolutely nothing messy."

Clem gulped. He knew that his floor of the hotel just had to the messiest, nastiness and smelliest part of the hotel. Sure, Clem was used to the smell and messiness, but others weren't so much. If Luigi walked into the Boilerworks, he might give a bad floor review to Clem.

Steward must have caught on that Clem was nervous about the cleaning part because he said, "Clem, I know that your floor isn't the cleanest, or nice smelling, but I reassure you that the Boilerworks will be the cleanest it has ever been in decades."

This made Clem feel better about himself, and Steward could see that, so he continued the meeting.

"Rule number two. We must always cater to all of Luigi's every needs. If Luigi wants to take a ride on a pirate ship, Fishook, you take him on a ride. If Luigi wants breakfast in bed, we bring him his breakfast. Don't question, don't say any bad opinions, just bring whatever Luigi needs, and we'll be fine." The other staff nodded in agreement.

"Finally, the most important rule," Steward clapped his hands, "Don't let anyone or anything cause trouble. If there is a kitchen fire, put the fire out. If there is a power outage, try to get the power back on. We can not let anything get in our way of having Luigi have a good time. Now, everyone back to their jobs, and keeping the Last Resort Hotel open will be victorious!" Steward pumped his fist into the air. Many people began to cheer, clap and even chant Steward's name.

As many ghosts began to exit the room, professor Elvin Gadd came into the room. "I am aware of what is going on, and I'm glad that everybody is taking this surprisingly well."

Steward chuckled in response, but when everyone was completely out of the meeting room, he lost it.

"IJUSTSAIDALLOFTHATSONOONEELSEWOULD PANIC, BUTI'MTHEONEWHO'SPANICKING, OHPROFESSORHELPME!" Steward screamed in fear.

"Oh boy, you are sure in a state of fear. It seems you are brave though. You said an entire presentation to motivate everyone about this upcoming event. You didn't mean your feelings, but pretending that you are fine made other people feel better." E. Gadd inquired "Relax boy, everyone seems excited and I don't think that kind of attitude could bring someone down."

"I know that, but I'm just so scared that something will go wrong. If something does, everyone here is going to be homeless! I can't ruin this event!" Steward bit his lip.

E. Gadd knew from experience of running the hotel that if anyone is having a meltdown, you should just leave them alone for a while and talk later. He knew that he should go, but he didn't.

"I know you are worried, I am honestly pretty nervous myself as well, but you should focus on what's happening now, not when Luigi gets here. Now get up Steward, this hotel needs a leader!" E. Gadd pat Steward's back. He left, but something about the professor's dramatic monologue just made a once terrified bellhop into a now better bellhop.

All the staff members made their way to their floors when Steward's staff meeting had finished, but all of them knew far well that they needed their floors to be cleaned and be perfectly perfect.

In the Twisted Suites, the Nikki and Lindsey were sitting on chairs in front of Ginny. The triplets decided that Ginny should be in charge of their part in this event since she was the only one who tried to stop the one thousand pranks plan.

"Okay girls," Ginny punched her fist into her hand. "We all almost caused this place to come to ruin, so we need to do something that could help Mister Luigi enjoy his stay."

The sisters knew that they would definitely preform a magic show for Luigi, but the problem is that they have never gone more than a few days without pranking anyone.

"When do you think Mister Luigi will get and leave here?" Nikki asked. "I'm okay with not pranking anyone for a few days, but I'm not okay with going more than a few days without pranking someone."

Lindsey and Ginny shot a nervous look at their oldest sister. It's not that they were nervous at Nikki's comment, it was pretty good for everyone to know that Nikki's struggle, Lindsey and Ginny were nervous that Nikki doubted herself and her ability to be control herself.

Well, maybe only Ginny was the only one that actually nervous for her oldest sister.

"Oh come on Nikki," Lindsey sighed, "I know that we all can't go even a few days without pranking someone, but all I know is that... YOU JUST ADMITTED A FLAW IN YOU. HA!"

"You little-" Nikki growled and Lindsey began to run to the elevator with an enraged magician that began to run after her. Ginny stared blankly at the chaos that unfolded before her eyes.

She sighed. "This is going to be a long week."

Nikki wasn't the only in the hotel to have doubts about her performance. On the fifth floor of the hotel, Chambrea was running around with some of her fellow maids trying to get the place as clean as possible.

"Sylvie, can you vacuum the carpet by the lounge area?" Chambrea shouted at an Oozer. "Zara, are the windows shining like a star, or is it hardly shining?"

The RIP Suites was filled to the brim with ghost maids and a Chambrea who was in crunch mode. She was dusting the TV in the lounge area making sure that it was clean enough for Luigi.

Chambrea was so much in a rush to make the floor absolutely perfect that she almost fell more than a few times hurrying to get to place to place.

"Okay, Luigi is coming and this place has to be spotless, oh but what if this place isn't spotless?" Chambrea walked back and forth talking to herself while at the same time trying to calm herself down.

Many of the other maids had noticed that and wanted their boss to be calm. If she wasn't, the day wouldn't be a good one. Now normally Chambrea was patient and good when she is calm, but if she is panicking, she's just a mess.

"Chambrea dear," an Oozer came up to Chambrea. "Take yourself a little break and sit down," the Oozer offered Chambrea a cup full of iced tea.

Chambrea looked at her fellow maid with shock. "Did you forget something?" She asked. The Oozer looked confused. There was absolutely nothing wrong that she had done for Chambrea to give her such a reaction.

"We just cleaned," Chambrea looked at the Oozer trying to give her hints, but nothing was working. Finally, Chambrea gave up and looked at the couch the Oozer had her sit on.

"We just cleaned and you led me to a couch with absolutely no protection from spills." Chambrea explained as if where the most obvious thing ever.

"Ah," the Oozer looked at Chambrea with an understanding look on her face. "I see, and I apologize."

Chambrea didn't mean for her to sound a little entitled, and she was sorry. "Listen, I'm incredibly sorry if I came off as rude. I'm just incredibly panicked, and I don't know what to do, I need this place to be clean, and oh no, oh no! How much time went by since Steward held his staff meeting?!?" Chambrea shrieked.

"It's been fifteen minutes." Just take a break Chambrea, the floor is already cleaned for the most part." The Oozer floated away.

Chambrea sighed. "This is going to be a long day."

The entire hotel was feeling moments of doubt about every little thing. The Hotel Shops was closed for the day so it could be restocked with the best souvenirs.

Chef Soufflé and Amadeus Wolfgiest weren't exactly be the ones to panic as easily as everyone else in the hotel though.

"You know Soufflé," Amadeus Wolfgiest began a conversation. "I just don't see why Steward had to choose Sir Luigi of all the people he could've chosen from. I also don't see why everyone is going out of their way to make everything so perfect. They know even if Luigi doesn't like our service he'll still say he likes it."

Soufflé nodded. Wolfgiest did have a point, but Soufflé had one of his own to make Wolfgiest feel stupid.

"That does make since Wolfgiest, so you should not do your best while playing your piano Beth." Soufflé closed his eyes waiting for an explosion.

"Well, piano is certainly quite different from the other's likes, you know such as magic tricks and certain perfection to cooking, and my piano's name is Elizabeth."

Chef Soufflé gasped at Wolfgiest's comment. No one has ever said an insult as insulting as that and after-survived. Amadeus Wolfgiest was in for a beating.

"You are getting what you deserve Wolfgiest!" Soufflé growled at Wolfgiest. Then he began to rummage around his drawers filled with kitchen supplies while an unimpressed Wolfgiest stared behind the chef.

After a few seconds of rummaging the drawers, Soufflé emerged with a brand new frying pan, price tag and all,(7.99) and headed towards Wolfgiest with an evil grin on his face.

Soufflé was about to whack Wolfgiest with the pan, but Morty walked into the awkward situation.

"Uh," Morty mumbled when he saw Soufflé about to whack Wolfgiest. The situation got even more awkward when King Macfrights came in.

Actually, the situation wasn't awkward to Macfrights. He just made this more awkward for everyone else.

"Yeah, Chef Soufflé, I have the demand that the food you make shall be fit for a king, for Sir Luigi won't like it." Macfrights floated out of the room when he was done with his order, and Chef Soufflé had an order of his own.

"I will bash that elf into next Tuesday now that he treats me as if I were a servant." Soufflé followed King Macfrights without him nothing.

Amadeus Wolfgiest also chased after Soufflé leaving Morty alone. "Soufflé! It's my job as your friend to make sure you do no whacking!"

Morty just stared at the ground trying to comprehend what was happening, but he should be used to this kind shitty behavior by now, but he wasn't.

Morty sighed. "This is going to be a long afternoon."

By the end of the day, the hotel was about halfway done with being an absolutely shining hotel. Sure the hotel always looked like a movie set, but everyone knew in order to make Luigi impressed they had to go the extra mile.

Some employees even made a small packet book for Luigi's days at the hotel. Even before Luigi was invited for this opportunity of being a hotel tester, almost every floor had its own little event that would surely bring a smile to even the grumpiest of people. The reason grumpy people liked the events is because that the events were cheaper than normal.

Normally if someone went to an attraction in the hotel during non event times, one would have to pay full price for the attraction, but during the events, people would have to only pay half price for the attraction. It truly is such a great deal.

The reason the employees made a packet book for Luigi about the said events is because that each event was at different times. The packet book would tell Luigi when an event was so he could pay less for an attraction.

Steward felt so much better after a while and when he saw the hotel after its few hours of cleaning, Steward felt proud. E. Gadd was right that everything would be fine. Things just needed to stay the way it was now so nothing bad could happen.

Steward and the other staff could handle this event well. Yeah, they really could.
