It was already dark so Rose needed to find him fast. Somehow, she managed to contact Sonic. He knew Tails better then anyone so he might know where he went.

Rose Mary: I sure hope he's ok.

Sonic: He's not as fast as me so he couldn't have gone far. It looks like it's gonna storm again.

Rose Mary: Oh dear. I didn't know it would continue to rain. And when it's thunder and lightning starting up he'll be terrified.

Sonic: I promise I'll find him. Don't worry.

Rose Mary: Oh, Thank you, Sonic.

Sonic ran off in lightning speed to find his friend. In just five minutes of running, Sonic looked up and noticed some storm clouds brewing in.

Sonic: If I know Tails well enough, I know he's terrified of thunder and lightning. I gotta find him. And quick!

Just then, Lightning struck and thunder started crashing.

Sonic: Oh no! Tails! Where are you?!

Sonic screamed his name at the top of his lungs but Tails didn't answer. Sonic was starting to get worried when he saw something from behind a tree. Two Tails! Suddenly, lightning struck again which made Sonic hear a scream.

Tails: AHHHH!!

Sonic: Tails? Is that you?

Tails: [Panicked] M-Mom! D-Dad! Anyone! Make it stop!

Sonic: Tails!

Tails: [Panicked] S-S-Sonic?

Sonic: It's ok, Buddy. I'm Right here. But what are you doing here by yourself?

Before he could say anything Tails felt something coming up his throat and started gagging. He began to vomit really hard.

Sonic: Tails, are you ok?

Tails: Sonic, I-I don't feel to good! [Vomits]

Sonic pulled him in close and carefully rubbed his back.

Sonic: Take it easy, pal. Rose Mary's been worried sick about you so as soon as you're done vomiting I'm taking you straight home.

5 minutes later, Tails was finished vomiting but all the pressure he let out made him light headed and faint. So Sonic had to carry him home. Back as Tails' house, Rose Mary was waiting anxiously at the front door when she saw them coming. Tails mumbling something in his sleep.

Tails: Sonic...are we...

Sonic: Don't worry, Tails. We're almost there.

Rose Mary: Oh my goodness, You found him, Sonic!

Sonic: Yep. Just like I promised.

Sonic gave Tails to Rose, and she was shocked to see the state he was in. He had a few scratches and was a little pale.

Rose Mary: He's warmer than he was earlier! What happened, Sonic? What happened to my baby?!

Sonic: I found him hiding behind a tree. It was storming so he was scared. He started to vomit because he must've been having a panic attack from his astraphobia.

Rose then hear Tails Mumble something again.

Tails: Mom...I...feel worse...

Rose Mary: I better get him to bed. And I'm calling the doctor first thing in the morning. Thank you for finding him, Sonic.

Sonic: No problem. Feel better soon, Buddy.

And that, Sonic ran back to his house.

Rose took Tails to his room and placed him back in bed. Lightning started striking again. That was the moment Tails woke up scared from the noise.

Tails: AHHH!! Huh? Where am I?

Rose was relieved that Tails was awake. She wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug while rubbing his head.

Rose Mary: Thank Goodness you're alright. I was so worried about you.

Tails: [Panicked] Y-You never said it was gonna storm tonight, Mom. You know I'm s-scared of lightning!

Rose Mary: Sorry, Sweetheart. I didn't know myself.

Tails: [Panicking]

Rose Mary: Hey hey. Shhhh...Easy, Hunny. You're having another panic attack. Calm down, Ok?

However, The bigger the storm grew the more scared Tails was. Rose tried to settle him down again. This time using his real name.

Rose Mary: Miles, Listen to my heartbeat and settle down. I'm right here.

Luckily, Tails managed to calm him down after a little while. It was still storming but he felt safe in Rose's arms. But he still wasn't feeling any better.

Tails: Mom...

Rose Mary: Shhh...It's ok, Hunny. You're starting to look worse, so I'm taking you to the doctor tomorrow morning.

She put him to sleep and Left the room. She left a bucket in his room in case Tails needed to vomit again. It was hard for Tails to get any rest with the storm outside. But once it calmed down a little bit he was able to get some sleep.
