Chapter 9: Straight Out of Hell

"Go back to your clan! Now!"

Yup, no reason to argue here. The fact that my teacher pulled a cat mask from the drawer before body flickering was absolutely no reason to freak out, in context. Watching a fucking huge Chakra beast towering above the village, trashing it like a rhinoceros in a porcelain store?
Weeeell… Yeah, let's freak out.
It's in context.

I was jumping from roof to roof, using the 'leaping monkey technique' Moon-moon taught me.

("Concentrate Chakra in your feet, so they send you toward the thing, then concentrate Chakra in your legs so they don't break and stops you from getting the thing and concentrate Chakra in your eyes, so you don't miss the thing I want to get…")

All the while evading the slabs flying wild to find someone and maybe do something, anything more.
And also staying the fuck away from Kurama because holy shit it was massive. And strong.

My heart suddenly cried while I saw a full platoon of Shinobis being crushed by a single swipe of the Kyuubi's arm.

I stopped my run on a rooftop, on the premises of the fight when I saw that.
All those people that grew to hate Naruto…
Who kept their children away from him…
Who can say they weren't relatives of those I just saw die?
Those ninjas were suddenly erased from existence. Like they never existed. Their part ended before they even began to exist in the story and the only one who will remember they were even here will be...

They will be the people looking at a young, innocent blonde kid in orange and relieving the death of their loved one before their eyes.

Iruka's parents were among the ones I saw dying just now, I'm sure of it.

This is wrong... This is so wrong...

Here I stood. In the periphery of the mayhem and looked at the battlefield. I knew the Kyuubi was controlled, and his own rage was justifying the massacre as it took place.

My mind went to Naruto, who will bear the guilt of being the host of something so empirically evil within him.

Everyone will mistake the jailer from the prisoner. Even those that won't will be people that will advert their eyes, for the memories it will bring to them...
The only reason I was watching Kurama with pity is that I was the only one who knew what was really happening inside this big ball of Chakra.
No one can explain them why it's so wrong. All who knew the real story will die today or live to be the villain another day.

That's wrong... That's so wrong…

I refused to avert my eyes as the Kyuubi splattered another ninja team like they were flies. Along with a huge portion of Konoha shopping district.
I realized that's just what they legacy was. Flies, unimportant in the grand scheme of things, unimportant to the Story... Except for my eyes. And then they became more hate for hatred's sake.

Fuck seeking safety within my clan. Something must change. Something will change.
I jumped directly toward Kyuubi. I was four-year-old now, my birthday went while I was witnessing the attack. A single four-year-old with the knowledge that could change something. If I was lucky.
I made it only a hundred meters away before I was forcefully dragged to the ground. I heard a voice calling up to me.

"What are you doing here?! This is no place for a kid!"

I felt like I should know this voice. I didn't care.

"IT'S A DISTRACTION! HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE HERE! HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT US! HE JUST WANTS TO BE LEFT ALONE!"

I screamed with all my lungs. Fuck subtlety.

"What is he talking about? We must repel it before he kills more of us!" I heard a voice I didn't recognize.
"What do you mean, a distraction?" said the calm voice that was holding me face first to the ground.
"He doesn't want to do this. Or to be here. I can hear him."

That was Moon-Moon talking. In common language again.

"Please, Jounin-sama, call my brethren. They will explain." My imprint calmly continued.

Wait. The person holding me smelled like dogs. Kakashi?

"Kuchiyose no jutsu!"

I heard a puff of smoke and suddenly the sound of the Kyuubi trashing was replaced with… something somehow even more noisy.

"CAN'T YOU DETECT HE'S UNDER A FUCKING GENJUTSU!? WE DIDN'T TRAINED A FUCKING IDIOT THAT FAILED TO UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A REAL THREAT AND A DIVERSION!"

A huge dog with an irai-hate (and I mean a giving fucking huge dog, human sized) was screaming at the all-too-small jounin.

"WAIT!" I couldn't help but to intervene. "I smell he's hurting! He wants to leave but he can't! Someone is controlling him! And I don't know where! He says being controlled is the worst thing ever and he just wants to be…. Away? For someplace east of here? I don't get it!"

Two ninja fell by my side, a young boy with a starting stubble and a girl with red eyes.

"Kakashi, we have a situation. We lost contact with the sealing place. According to protocol we must lure the beast away from it. Now!"

Oh. That's what Azuma looks like without a full beard? I guess he is 16/17 years old, right? Yeah, his beard is growing but... Not really here. Don't worry, puberty won't forget you. You too Kurenai, you too…

"NO! IT'S A TRAP! THE HOKAGE IS IN DANGER!" Kakashi shouted, his genius mind connecting the dots instantly when my teacher didn't.

At last, I've done my part, but I was tired… So… Tired. I felt like sleeping right now. I've earned it right? I'm four! Four years old needs their rest, right?
I felt that my body was suddenly flickering away. Maybe by some no name chuunin. Didn't care.
I will soon be in my bed, or what was left of it and tomorrow will be another day. Yeah. A weird day with everything I've said but a day where I made something, or the consequences of it….

Shit I just want to sleep…

I was so tired that I barely registered when something shook my world, making the street we were in collapse right on us. Before I could shake myself up I was buried in gravel, a wall just felt on us.
The chuunin that was escorting me wasn't that lucky. His head was crushed in the rocks that fell on us.
Some stone had hit my head. I felt blood run on my face.
I was trapped.
Trapped just in front of a very angry, very pissed Kurama that was directly looking at me

I looked into his eyes. His sharingan red eyes. And then the massive chakra beast started snarling at me. Pure power starting condensing in his mouth…

As I fell into unconsciousness while the attack was forming, I had only one thought in my mind.

"I'm going to tank a Bijuudama with my face, right…"
