I felt different, as if my whole body was energized. What'd happened? I didn't remember anything else after falling unconscious, except maybe, I think I heard the Voice of the World...

Librarian? You're saying that I evolved to Demon King?... I didn't really plan to do it, but it seems that the evolution process is automatic, and it can't be stopped. I didn't want to antagonize the humans either, but I think after destroying an entire village and an army of fifteen thousand soldiers with a meteor shower, I should stay away from the humans for a while.

Spatial Localization: Allows the user to pinpoint the exact coordinates of someone they have met before, anywhere in the world.

The Extra Skill "Ultra-speed Regeneration" evolved into Extra Skill "Infinite Regeneration". It can now heal wounds caused by Spiritrons.

Extra Skill "Haki" evolved into Extra Skill "Demon King Haki". The power of the aura was increased several times.

The Extra Skill "Sticky Thread ç" evolved into Extra Skill "Universal Thread". User-created specialized threads with special properties.

The Extra Skill "Mimicry" evolved into Extra Skill "Universal Shapeshift". It allows the user to transform not only into the creatures they've possessed, but also into the creatures that are their subordinates.

These are all Skills affected by the evolution to Demon King.

Once Raziel informed me of my new Skills, I finally got out of bed. I had barely taken two steps when the cabin door opened.

"Lord Rogan! You're awake!" - Tuatha exclaimed as she opened the door.

"How long have I been asleep?" – I asked.

"It has only been a day since your evolution to Demon King. You scared the hell out of us when you fell, exhausted like that. Everyone will be very happy to see you awake. Concern for your health somewhat clouded the enthusiasm for the gifts." - She answered.

"What gifts?" – I asked.

Upon evolving into a Demon King, your subordinates received a "gift" through the Harvest Festival.

What kind of gifts, Raziel?

All subordinates named by you advanced one step in their evolutionary rank. The Kijin evolved into Fair Oni. The Merman and Mermaid evolved into Sirens. The Nightmare Wolf evolved into Hell Hound. Bicorns have evolved into Tricorns. All subordinates have either received a large increase in their magicule capacity or received Unique Skills according to their personalities.

Tuatha and I decided to talk some more in the cabin before facing the rest of our village. According to Tuatha, the ship was sailing towards the island thanks to the skillful hands of the Dark Elves, but had not yet reached the deep sea where the most terrible sea monsters were found.

As we talked, my gaze caught something on a nearby table. There, on a large cushion, was the egg I had taken from the black market. When I had returned from Ingrasia, I had removed the egg from the parallel space where I had left it and entrusted its care to Tuatha, waiting for the egg to hatch at last. Each day I fed it magicules following the careful instructions of the Librarian, now Raziel.

I got up from the chair where I was sitting with Tuatha, and went to the egg to feed it. Once I got to it, I placed my hand on it and began the process of infusing it with magicules. Shortly after, Raziel finally warned me...

The egg is ready to hatch.

As soon as Raziel finished warning me, the egg began to move and vibrate. Great cracks appeared on its surface and the upper part of it finally gave way thanks to the push of the creature that was inside it.

When the creature finally came out, my heart raced.

It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen in my life!

Three beautiful pairs of red eyes looked at me from three beautiful little heads, surrounded by beautiful white scales. It was a three-headed snake! Their beautiful white scales shone like diamonds, and their tiny forked tongues stuck out every few seconds, testing the air around them.

"It is truly a beautiful creature, Lord Rogan." – Tuatha said as she approached my side.

I carefully reached my hand towards the small snake, while the three heads slowly approached. After a few licks, it seemed to consider me harmless as it crawled out of the egg and curled around my hand.

Raziel, can you analyze it?

The creature appears to be a Three-Headed Hydra, one of the highly spiritual beings known as Cryptids. There is evidence that these creatures are born in another world and travel to it in the same way as Otherworlders.

"So, you are a Three-Headed Hydra…" – I said to the little snake while caressing one of its heads with my fingertip, which seemed to please it.

"I know! I'll give you a name!" – I told the little snake and I began to think of an appropriate name. Wait… weren't there some creatures in ancient times whose hair was made of snakes? One of them was called Medusa… but I didn't like that name; The poor creature ended up with her head cut off… but one of her sisters was called… "I remember! From this day forward your name will be Esteno."

Apparently, Raziel had evolved so much that he didn't even need to ask me what he should do, since he directly used the magicules I had stored with my new Ultimate Skill Astaroth, to name Esteno. And like all the creatures I had named so far, Esteno also evolved.

When the flash of evolution disappeared, the beautiful three-headed white snake had been replaced by a cute little girl of about five or six years old. She had snow-white hair, red eyes, and was dressed in a small dress that seemed to be made of scales.

"Daddy." – The girl, Esteno I realized, said when our eyes met.

"No little one, I'm not your dad. My name is Rogan" – I told the clearly confused girl.

"Daddy." – Esteno said, completely ignoring what I told her, already acting as children usually did.

"In fact, Lord Rogan, since it was your magicules that caused her birth, technically speaking, you are the father." - Tuatha intervened, her hand trying to hide how funny she found it all.

"Ok, then. I'm your dad." – I told Esteno, after sighing for my imminent fatherhood.

That seemed to make the little girl very happy and she walked the few steps that separated us to hug my legs. I must admit that in my previous world I always liked children, what I never imagined was that I would be having one of my own after reincarnating in another world.

I carried Esteno in my arms and together with Tuatha, we finally went out onto the ship's deck. Seeing me, everyone on the ship began to shout with joy and congratulate me on my ascension to Demon King. When everyone calmed down, I introduced everyone to Esteno as my daughter. Everyone looked at me surprised at first, but after I explained what had happened, they accepted the little girl as the princess of the village immediately.

It was early in the morning, and thanks to the Extra Skills "Water Manipulation" and "Wind Manipulation" of Triton and Okimura, our journey seemed to go much faster than normal. In just a few hours we would finally enter the part of the ocean inhabited by sea monsters.

As I prepared myself for the fights I knew were to come, Raziel spoke to me once more.

Said Extra Skill allows the creation of souls through the creation of a spiritual body using magicules and the implantation of an artificial intelligence as a nucleus. It also allows editing any part of a soul already owned by the user.

Ho! So, you're done studying the composition of souls? How efficient you are, Raziel! And you also gave me a new Extra Skill... if I understood correctly, with this new skill I can create as many souls as I want?

Creating a soul through this process requires an immense amount of magicules. With the current number of magicules, only about a thousand souls can be created.

Well, I guess such a powerful Skill must have its weaknesses.

When I was thinking about the possible uses of this Skill, Raziel made me a new suggestion.

It is possible to obtain the Unique Skill "Kin Maker" through the unification of the Extra Skills "Sage", "Parallel Operation", "Hatch" and "Soul Manipulation".

The Unique Skill "Kin Maker" has three sub-skills:

Hatch: which allows the creation of eggs from which later weaker creatures of the same species will hatch. These creatures do not have souls or egos of their own.

Soul Manipulation - Allows the creation of souls through the creation of a spiritual body using magicules and the implantation of an artificial intelligence as the core. It also allows editing any part of a soul already owned by the user.

Mastermind: Allows you to exercise control over all creatures created with this Skill.

It was basically the unification of the Extra Skills that made it up, but it also allowed me to control the creatures I created.

Raziel, integrate the Unique Skill "Kin Maker"

As I thought about the possibilities that this new Unique Skill would provide me, my "Universal Sense", part of my Ultimate Skill Grigori, warned me of the encounter with our first sea monster.

According to Raziel, the monster was a Kraken. A giant squid monster with a number of magicules comparable to what I had before my evolution to Demon King.

I was going to tell everyone about the Kraken, when two giant tentacles emerged from the water and tried to encircle the ship. I quickly used Barrier Magic to create a sphere-shaped barrier around the ship, and launched myself into the air, creating a pair of wings. From the air, the sight was even more terrifying. The Kraken was a giant mass with ten white tentacles attached to a large mouth filled with teeth as long as a person.

As more tentacles surrounded the ship, I used "Chaos Eater", creating my own tentacles of corrosive energy, and sent them towards the Kraken. When my tentacles connected, the corrosive energy spread over the surface of the tentacles like acid, corroding everything in its path. Faced with the surprise attack, the Kraken retracted in on itself and tried to escape, but my "Chaos Eater" chased after it, corroding its body and soul.

Before my evolution to Demon King, only if my body physically touched a creature could I use "Forced Possession" to possess it; but now that I had become a fully spiritual creature, I could use my own magicules as extensions of my spiritual body. So, using my connection to the Kraken through "Chaos Eater" I activated Ultimate Skill "Selfish King Astaroth"

Now Raziel didn't even have to ask what I wanted to do, he just did it, as if reading my mind. Within a few seconds, I possessed the Kraken.

Analysis completed. Skills gained through Ultimate Skill "Astaroth": Mimicry: Kraken, Extra Skill "Ink Manipulation", Extra Skill "Underwater Breathing".

After our encounter with the Kraken, we were much more alert for monsters, but for that first day there were no more attacks.

Our problem came during our second day. We had run out of supplies. It had already been three months and a few days since we left the ruins of our village, and feeding more than a hundred people and a wolf monster over three meters tall for three months was not easy. Water could be created by magic or Skills, but food could not. This scarcity of food made me think… until now we had only eaten fruits and vegetables, and small creatures like the Bulldeer, but that didn't mean that we couldn't eat much bigger creatures… and luckily in my previous life I was very good cooking fish! So instead of waiting for the sea monsters to attack us, I would go after them and make them our dinner.

Luckily, I didn't have to look far, as a few miles from our ship I found three monsters that Raziel identified as Spear Toro. After an analysis of Raziel I determined that I already possessed their Skills, "Underwater Breathing" and "Water Manipulation", and thus it would be a waste to possess them, so instead I used "Universal Thread" and a lot of magicules to create a large, highly resistant fishing net and attached large rocks created by "Molecular Manipulation" to it to work as a plumb line, and then I cast my new fishing net over the unsuspecting Spear Toros.

My fishing was a success! The rocks caused the net to sink rapidly, trapping the Spear Toros inside it. All I had to do was lift the plumb-line rocks using "Molecular Manipulation", and pull the Spear Toros out of the water like they were little fish instead of giant monsters.

Once I took the catch of the day back to the boat, we used the few vegetables we had left to accompany the fish that we cooked using "Fire Manipulation". With our food problem solved, we just had to enjoy the rest of the trip.

And finally, at dawn on our third day of sailing, we caught sight of our new home for the first time. The entire village was on deck with me, looking at the nameless island.

"Tuatha, according to Ingrasia's records, the island doesn't really have a name, since no one has lived on it long enough to name it, so technically, I could give it a name, right?" – I asked Tuatha, who was standing next to me, with Esteno in her arms.

"I believe you're right, Lord Rogan. But remember that, in this world, naming something is very important. Naming the island may not cost magicules or create a special bond, but it will signal to the world that the island belongs to you, and this might attract people who wish to challenge your strength to take possession of the island." – Tuatha warned me.

"Let them come. I will face everything and everyone to keep everyone I love safe." - I answered. "From now on, this will be our home. The Isle of Avalon." – I said to everyone, while looking at our new home, and I imagined all the possibilities that it would bring.
