It was another great day for Kiba.
She was patrolling the city streets as part of her internship tasks. Most interns didn't get to patrol solo, but everyone was aware of her power. No one thought she needed others in the agency to slow her down.
And so Kiba jumped from building to building, looking down on the peaceful streets.
SLAM!
Until something slammed into her from behind and smashed her right onto the street, so hard that she and whatever hit her skid through them, destroying them and knocking away whatever cars happened to be on the road as well as completely totaling the road.
When they stopped skidding, Kiba was pinned to the ground, with a monster's foot on her back.
The monster in question was a giant grey man, with bone-like spikes all over his body, and the only clothing on him was a pair of brown shorts.
"Agh!" Kiba grunted as the monster pressed his foot down further into her back, digging her deeper into the ground.
"Why little!" Kiba growled, before using one of her quirks, one she called, Ruler of Shadow.
The beast's shadow rose up, and grabbed it, before throwing it a few yards away from her.
Quirk, Ruler of Shadow. Allows the user to manipulate shadows, and make them physical.
With the monster off of her, Kiba got up and dusted off her now cracked crimson armor, scowling at the damage done to her cool-looking costume.
She scowled at the monster, who by now had pulled itself up, and was charging toward her.
"Hmph." Kiba scoffed as the monster lunged at her, coming close to reaching her, its shadow suddenly came up, and grabbed it, forcing it to the ground in front of her feet, while every shadow in the area came towards them. "Dark Embrace!"
All the shadows joined together, wrapping around the monster, holding it tight to try and keep it from moving.
Enficease on the word, try.
"RAHHHHHH!" The monster stretched, moving the shadow bindings as it tried to break free.
Kiba's eyes widened, as she could feel the monster quickly breaking free of her special move, she tried to tighten the hold, but it was no use, the monster was simply too strong, and she had to step back, as it rose to its feet.
"RAHHH!" It roared as it broke free, causing the shadows to burst off its body. "Hahh!"
Kiba barely managed to jump back in time as the creature slammed its fist down in front of it, hitting the ground so hard it sent cracks through the street, and a small earthquake, that made everyone still in the area fall over.
This thing's strength is considerable. Kiba thought as she landed several yards away from the monster. "Who do you think you are? And what does this lowly creature want with me?"
"I am…Doomsday." The creature spoke in a deep imposing voice. "I was made to kill Midoriyas."
"Ah. You must be a Nomu that was made by the P.L.F.. Or rather the remnants of them. To think that group would still be around despite Caretaker's efforts to stamp them out." Kiba spat. "Truly that lot is like Cockroaches. It'd be admirable if they weren't so damn annoying."
Doomsday didn't seem to care for Kiba's speeches, as it lunged forward with incredible speed, with its arm cocked back, ready to unleash a devastating punch.
Kiba rushed forward and met his fist with her own.
FWOOSH!
Their fists impacted each other, making a massive shockwave, that further destroyed the street they were in, kicked up a massive wind that knocked even more surrounding people down, made cracks in the surrounding buildings, and shattered every window nearby.
Kiba skidded back a few feet, with eyes wide in shock and fear.
Her hand hurt. Not for long, her regeneration quirk quickly healed any damage done to her hand and arm.
But damage was done.
This thing was as strong-no. Even stronger than her at her max.
"Shit," Kiba swore, as Doomsday charged at her again. This is going to get messy. I need to get it away from the people.
Kiba jumped up into the air, avoiding a devastating punch, while the back of her armor opened up, to allow a set of bat-like wings to burst from her back.
"You want me monster! You'll have to be fast enough to catch me!" Kiba shouted at it, before flying away, as fast she can.
"Hmm!" Doomsday jumped after her, trying to catch her but Kiba skillfully dodged its grab.
"Ahhhhhh!" A woman screamed, as Doomsday came falling to the ground, about to land on her, when her shadow rose up and pulled her out of the way.
The two kept going, Kiba flying away, avoiding Doomsday's attempts to grab her while using Ruler of Shadows to save people from getting hurt in their high-speed chase.
Quickly, they reached the harbor, and Kiba started flying over the water.
Doomsday ran after her, running atop the water with its incredible speed.,
After a few minutes of chasing, it jumped at her again, trying to grab her foot, but Kiba once again evaded, causing Doomsday to go flying up above her and in front of her.
Only for it to shift its body around, and kick the air so hard, it launched itself at Kiba, tackling her into the water.
SPLASH!
Doomsday held onto Kiba, who struggled to try and escape his grip, as they descended deeper and deeper into the sea.
Kiba couldn't break his hold. Doomsday was stronger than her at her max, and she had already lost some power from that chase earlier.
It almost seemed hopeless, as they went deeper and deeper into the water, while Doomsday tried to drown her to death.
However, Kiba hadn't just led him here because it was away from civilians.
Because the deeper you go underwater, the less light there was. And less light meant more shadows.
The sea shook, and Doomsday looked down, to see a mass of pure darkness moving toward them.
As if the darkness of the sea swallowed them, it pulled at Doomsday's grip, and Kiba started to struggle against it as well.
Finally, Kiba managed to open Doomsday's arms wide enough, to allow the darkness to pull her out of its hold.
Now free, Kiba pulled herself out of the darkness and used it to try and hold Doomsday once more.
And while she did that, she also swam to a nearby island and made it to shore.
"Ahhh!" Kiba gasped, as she finally got some air into her lungs, and retracted her now wet wings.
She stayed there, her knees and hands in the sand, both trying to get as much air in her lungs as possible, and focusing on keeping Doomsday contained.
Kiba could feel the monster fighting the shadows, she couldn't hold him for long.
Lady Kiba what's going on!? I can sense that you're in danger! Do you require my power? Said a girl's voice in her head.
That girl was her trusty sidekick/servent/weapon. Hinata Dogauru. She was a sidekick in training, one that had a close relationship with the Midoriya family, and Kiba in particular.
Yes. I used up much of my power, and the monster I'm fighting requires my full capabilities. Kiba explained. I'll need you in order to defeat this monster. Come to me, now.
I'm on my way Lady Kiba. Your blade will not fail you. Hinata told her.
SPLASH!
Doomsday had finally broken free of the shadows, and jumped out of the water on the beach, slamming into the sand a few feet away from her.
I pray that is the case. Kiba thought.
SMASH!
Doomsday rushed forward, and Kiba raised her arms in front of her to try and protect herself, as its fist slammed into her, and sent her flying back, knocking down a few trees as she went.
Damn, he's strong. Kiba's arms hurt like hell and were bleeding for a few seconds before her regeneration kicked in.
Kiba flipped herself mid-air and landed on her feet as she skidded backward for a few seconds before stopping. I can't afford to fight him head-on, not until Hinata gets here. Kiba ripped off her ruined armor, stripping down to the black shorts and sports bra she had underneath.
"Die!" Doomsday screamed as he lunged at Kiba.
Kiba jumped to the side, dodging the lunge, as she lept onto a tree, and then continued hopping from tree to tree, moving around Doomsday as fast as she could.
Doomsday tried to keep his eyes on Kiba, but her erratic movements confused him, and he couldn't pin her down.
So instead, he stuck to what he was best.
"RAHHH!" Doomsday smashed the ground so hard, that it created a whirlwind knocking down all the surrounding trees, and tossing Kiba away, back towards the beach.
Kiba used her shadow to catch herself and put herself upright.
The moment her feet touched the sand, she noticed another shadow on top of her, getting bigger and bigger.
Kiba raised the shadow up and had it move her out of the way, as Doomsday came crashing down.
The young heroine in training, raised a shadow to block the sand that had been sent flying everywhere.
She then quickly formed the shadows into a drill, and dug into the sand, digging herself deep underground, to try and give herself some time time to breathe.
But Doomsday was unrelenting, and he dug down to chase after her, pursuing her underneath the earth, before catching up to her, and grabbing her by the leg.
Doomsday tossed Kiba upwards, causing her to burst out of the sand and into the air, before he jumped up, and slammed both fists down on Kiba.
THUD!
Kiba hit the ground so hard, that the whole Island shook, and a small sandstorm was kicked up.
"Ahhhhhchhkkkk." Kiba let out a strained sound, as blood poured out of her mouth, and she could hear her spine snap.
Her regeneration was already working on fixing the damage, but every single one of her quirks was tied to her blood boost, meaning they got weaker the more she expended herself.
And Doomsday didn't give her any time to rest.
SLAM!
Doomsday kicked the air, and crashed into Kiba, planting his knee in her stomach, before just wailing on her, punching her deeper and deeper into the ground.
Kiba could feel her body break with each punch, blood pouring out of her body.
SMASH!
SMASH!
SMASH!
As Doomsday beat Kiba to near death, suddenly, her veins started popping out, blood rushing through them rapidly as you saw red lines appear on her skin, her fangs and claws extended, and her hair turned blood red.
And then, as Doomsday brought his fist back down on her, she caught it.
Doomsday looked down at Kiba and saw that she was different. All her wounds rapidly began to heal, and she looked at him with blood-red eyes of pure rage, the whites of her eyes had gone red.
Kiba had entered desperation mode.
"RAH!" Kiba roared, as she punched Doomsday in the face, launching him off of her, and causing blood to fly out of his mouth, as Kiba finally damaged it.
Kiba jumped into the air after him, grabbed his leg, and tossed him back towards the island, before kicking the air behind him got pursuing him.
Doomsday flipped himself mid-air, landed on his feet, saw Kiba quickly rushing towards him like a comet, and cocked his arm back.
COOMMMMM!
Once again their two fists met, and caused an even bigger shock wave than last time, knocking down all the surrounding trees.
Both fighters were knocked back, Doomsday was skidding back on the heels of his feet, and Kiba was sent flying back, flipping mid-air, and landing on her feet.
"Die! Die! Die!" Kiba screamed with pure rage, her wings coming back out, as she flew back towards Doomsday at top speed.
Doomsday moved to counter punch, but suddenly every shadow in the area rose up, and grabbed at him, forming into hands that clawed at his flesh, holding him in place long enough for Kiba to punch him in the chest.
"AGHHHHH!" Doomsday shouted, as the punch cracked the bones on his chest, although it quickly regenerated, but that didn't matter, as Kiba started rapidly punching his chest.
"Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die you misrable worm!" Kiba screeched, as she let out an unrelenting flurry of blows, hitting him so hard and fast that she broke apart his bones, and started tearing his flesh, as blood started rushing out his chest, and onto her fist.
"RAHH!" Doomsday roared, as its left arm broke free of the shadows, and smashed Kiba in the face.
Kiba's head turned with the blow, but quickly she turned it back towards Doomsday, her face bleeding from the punch, but it healed almost immediately.
This was Blood Boost Desperation Mode. Like all people, Kiba's body had what was known as a crisis mode. Where their body would release the limitations it had that kept it from tearing itself apart, to give a person strength beyond what they are normally capable of.
Kiba's body, however, worked a bit differently. When in a crisis, her body would start rapidly using up, all the blood Kiba had stored up, putting her at a strength that went far beyond her peak, as well as strengthening all her quirks to a ridiculous degree.
But like a normal person's crisis mode, Kiba's desperation mode had very apparent disadvantages. Namely, it used up a lot of the blood that Kiba needed to live, in a very short amount of time, meaning that not only was the form short-lived if Kiba didn't intake more blood while in it, and would be left in a helpless state afterward.
It also had a big effect on Kiba's mental state, making her almost feral, as well as boosting her aggression significantly.
"RAHHHHHH!" Kiba screamed, as she tore off Doomsday's chest armor, and clawed at his flesh, before sinking her teeth into his regenerating flesh, trying to suck as much blood out of him as possible.
Doomsday grabbed her by her head and started trying to crush her, but Kiba made a shadow sword, and stabbed Doomsday in the neck, opening her mouth to try and take in the blood that was now spurting out of the wound.
"Gah!" Doomsday roared, before he threw Kiba away, his wounds quickly healing afterward.
Kiba flapped her wings, stopping herself in the air before rising up.
She put the sword over her mouth, before dissipating it, causing the blood that was on it to fall into her mouth. "More! More! I will have your blood!"
Kiba raised her hand upward, and the Island shook.
A mass of shadows rose from the depths of the sea around them and flew up into the sky behind Kiba.
One small shadow flew down, into Kiba's hand as it turned into the spear, while the rest of the giant shadow broke up into thousands of small blades.
"Die! Eclipse Rain!" Kiba screamed as she slammed her arm down, and the blades rushed down at Doomsday.
As the blades came down on him, Doomsday tried to punch them all away, smashing many of them, but a few managed to hit him, creating small cuts and slashes in his skin, that almost immediately healed,
Kiba herself came flying down and stabbed her spear right into his eye.
"RAAHHHHHHH!" Doomsday roared in pain as Kiba dug the spear deeper and deeper into his head.
"Perish!" Kiba screamed as she ran the spear through his head, and out the back of his skull.
"GAHHHHH!" Doomsday roared, before punching Kiba away, sending her flying back.
Kiba tumbled back, landing on her knees back on the beach.
She struggled for breath, as the damage done by Doomsday's punch, quickly regenerated. Kiba could feel blood storage getting close to empty. She couldn't fight him much longer. Not on her own.
Thankfully she could also feel that help was soon to come.
Kiba held out her left hand, waiting for her to arrive.
Doomsday meanwhile, pulled the spear out of its head, and had immediately healed, and charged at Kiba.
The monster made it a few feet in front of Kiba, cocking its arm back to unleash another devastating blow.
When help finally came, in the form of an 8-foot-long katana, flying into Kiba's hand.
SLASH!
Kiba swung the sword at Doomsday, creating a massive horizontal slash across his chest.
"RAH!" Doomsday was sent back by the slash, landing on his feet a good distance away from Kiba, as the slash quickly healed.
Kiba smirked. "About time you arrived."
My apologies for my lateness lady Kiba. Your blade has arrived. She heard Hinata speak to her telepathically.
Hinata Dogauru, AKA, a sidekick in training, Masamune. Quirk: Bonded Blade. This quirk allowed the user to turn into a sword, and form a bond with another person who becomes their wielder. Once a wielder is selected, Hinata's sword form will change, and gain new abilities depending on who their current wielder was. They also share a telepathic connection with that wielder, as well as being magnetically attracted to them.
Being wielded by Kiba, caused her sword form, to take the shape of an 8-foot-long katana, with a blood red blade, and gold and black handle, but more importantly, it gave her a very useful ability.
Vitality Stealing.
"Ahhhh!" Kiba could feel the energy flowing through her, nourishing her.
Anything cut by Masamune would have their vitality siphoned from them, and into Kiba, where it would act as a substitute for blood.
Kiba took a deep breath and then gave Doomsday a crazed grin. "Heheheh. Monster. Tell me, do you know who I am? Are smart enough to know my name?"
"You are…Kiba Midoriya. Enemy." Doomsday replied. "Kill."
"That's right. I am Kiba Midoriya." Kiba stated as she slung her sword over her shoulder. "I am the vampiric queen of the night. I am a omega level Nomu. I am one of the strongest daughters, of the proud Midoriya house. You are a rabid dog. That will fall before my feet."
Ahhhh! Lady Kiba's so cool! Hinata thought to herself, gushing over her wielder internally.
"Now then, Doomsday." Kiba's smile widened as the sky began to darken. "Come and meet your demise."
Clouds began to form in the sky above them, blocking out the sun and plunging the area into shadow, as soon rain began to fall.
Stormcaller. Another one of Kiba's quirks, this did as the name implied, and summoned a localized storm in the area. An ability that used much of Kiba's energy, but now that Hinata was here, she could afford to go all out.
The shadows formed a circle around them, raising a very tall and very thick wall of shadow around them. Keeping them in a small enclosed arena.
Lastly, shadows crawled up Kiba's body and formed into black armor around her body.
"Hurag!" Kiba lunged forward and did a spinning slash, but Doomsday jumped back to avoid it, however, Kiba used the shadows, formed a long spear in her other hand, and spun around, using it to stick Doomsday in the shoulder, and then brought him closer, and impaled him on Masamune.
Kiba raised Masamune, with Doomsday still stuck on it, before bringing the sword down, and flinging Doomsday off it, sending him flying back to the other side of the arena.
As Doomsday was getting up, Kiba formed a very, very big hammer in her hand, and jumped up high in the air, before coming back down really quickly.
SLAM!
Doomsday barely managed to roll out of the way, as Kiba smashed her hammer into the ground.
Kiba deformed the hammer, turning it into three small daggers, which she threw at Doomsday while she jumped away to avoid being Doomsday's retaliation.
The daggers hit Doomsday, doing minor damage, that quickly healed away.
Doomsday charged at Kiba, who rushed forward and did another spinning slash, forming a large sword in her other hand, and slashing Doomsday with both blades, stopping his attacks and cutting up his body.
Kiba then recreated her hammer, and spun around, swinging it at him, and knocking him to the other side of the arena on his back.
Before he could get up, Kiba jumped up into the air and came down towards Doomsday.
Doomsday tried to roll away, but Kiba knew he would do that so she stalled in the air, and when the monster rolled, she moved, and stabbed down into his new location, impaling him through the chest.
"Agh!" Doomsday roared in pain, trying to swat Kiba off him, but Kiba had already flown back, avoiding the swing.
While Kiba was up in the air, she created six shadow duplicates of herself and sent them down towards Doomsday.
The first one rushed down and tried to horizontal slash on him, but Doomsday jumped back and dodged, only to be hit by the next clone, that rushed down and slashed his left side, as the next one slashed his right, the next one did an overhead vertical slash, and the next one thrust at him, stabbing his left side, and then the last one stabbed his right side. Then finally Kiba came down a thrust into his stomach, impaling him once more.
For the third time, Kiba raised her sword up, before flinging Doomsday off the sword.
Doomsday hit the wall of the arena and quickly got back to its feet.
Kiba noted that Doomsday's wounds were taking longer to heal. Because Kiba was stealing his vitality, Doomsday's wounds didn't have the energy to heal as quickly.
Soon, they wouldn't have the energy to heal at all.
As Doomsday geared up to charge at her again, Kiba flew up into the air and raised her sword. "Special move! Foul Blood Dance!"
Kiba then rushed Doomsday, while rapidly swinging her sword around her in a sphere of slashes.
"RAHHHHH!" Doomsday roared in pain, as the sphere of slashes encompassed him, and Kiba slashed up his body, frantically moving around him and slashing all about, leaving many, many gashes in his body.
After a few seconds, the attack was over, and Kiba flew back, to avoid any retaliation once more, while also throwing another set of shadow daggers at him.
Doomsday fell to his knees, he felt tired. He'd never felt tired before, his body felt heavy, and his wounds were taking even more time to heal.
Kiba smirked and flew up to do another special attack. "Special attack."
Shadows wrapped around Kiba, taking the form of petals, that wrapped Kiba up in a huge shadow flower bud.
The bud rocketed towards Doomsday, who stepped to the side and barely managed to dodge it.
"Black Bloom," Kiba said, before the bud exploded, blooming into a massive shadow flower, that knocked Doomsday away, into one of the shadow walls.
Kiba rushed towards Doomsday and made a giant shadow hand, grabbed him, before tossing him up and then impaling him on Masamune, before once again flinging him off.
Doomsday rolled across the ground, before slamming into a wall.
It struggled to get up, it struggled to move. And while it was struggling, Kiba came in and stabbed it through the heart.
"K-K-Kill…Mi-Midoriya…" It croaked, as its vitality was being rapidly drained by Masamune.
Its wounds healed slower and slower, and Kiba could see what little life the beast had, drain from its eyes.
"When will those fools learn," Kiba growled, as she dug Masamune deeper into the monster's heart. "The world they longed for will never come to pass. I will put these foolish ambitions to rest."
Doomsday went limp, and it finally died, as its body had no more energy left to give.
Kiba waited half a minute, keeping an eye on it to make sure it was truly dead, before finally, letting herself relax.
The shadow arena and armor dissipated, and the skies returned to normal.
You have won lady Kiba, to the surprise of no one. Hinata said as Kiba thrust her into the ground.
Kiba didn't waste any time, before she started ripping Doomsday's body open, and began drinking as much blood as she could. Even if Hinata's vitality stealing would keep her from losing power, she still felt so, so hungry, and so she proceeded to tear the body apart, drinking from its veins, and heart.
By the time the other heroes arrived, they would find Kiba unconscious and back to normal, and a mess of body parts thrown around the beach.
Ok, want to establish something. The canonicity of this fic's chapters is…questionable. Because of the nature of this fic, my ideas change, and as such, things change about this story.
This is why Kiba had different quirks here from the ones listed in the first chapter of this story. Because I changed my mind about the quirks I wanted Kiba to have in the future.
This kind of changing of canon won't happen in the main story, just this one.
Now as for Hinata, I'll explain more about her in the main fic, when she eventually makes her appearance.
Lastly, you may have noticed that Kiba's fighting style here was a bit similar to some bosses in Elden Ring. And that was on purpose.
I specifically modeled Kiba's fighting style after two(technically three) bosses from Elden Ring. My favorite ones. Margit/Morgot and Malenia.
Specifically, I modeled her mostly off Morgot, with her construct weapons and such, while giving her some stuff for Malenia.
For example, the Foul Blood Dance is just the Waterfowl Dance. And if you don't know, that's the attack everyone hates and that keeps claiming she'd be easy without.
The Black Blossom is just the Scarlet Aeonia. If you don't know, that's the attack that killed you at the start of phase 2.
And she uses the Phantom Spirits as well.
Why did I do this, because I thought it was cool, and I can imagine Kiba modeling her fighting style of video game bosses.
