Hot shot was very talented for a bot his age he was great warrior at a young age too. His younger brother Side swipe was talented too but in other areas, Side swipe was skilled with hacking, codes and tech. Plus Side swipe preferred to stay at the base and use his skills there were they are useful. There was many things to do. Minicons and relics had been gathered but some had been lost to the Conquerdriods.

Hot shot was busy training with Scavenger. They were sparring. Scavenger was fighting him hard. Hot shot was doing well. He blocked and dodged several of Scavenger's attacks and then he was tossed to the ground by Scavenger. Hot shot shook himself off and got up again. "Next time you won't be able to pull that on me," Hot shot said.

"I would like to see you try Hot shot, you are getting pretty good," Scavenger said.

"Thank you," Hot shot said.

They saw Starscream heading out with Hannah. "Where are you two going?" Hot shot asked.

"Hannah's got another flying lesson," Starscream said.

"Yes and I got to say I have been going at for weeks and I almost got it down, but sometimes it's so hard," Hannah said.

"Mostly because you keep overthinking it," Starscream told her. "Just remember your mind is useful but don't work it to hard for many reasons or else things become too hard," he told her.

"Okay," Hannah said.

Hannah started to practice her flying and was doing well. "Keep it up Hannah looks like you finally got the hang of it," Starscream told her. "now let's move to another weapons lesson," he said.

"Okay," Hannah said.

The weapon lesson went well and now Hannah was finally got the hang of the ins and outs of being a transformer.

The next day things were going pretty well at the Autobot and Decepticon base. Meanwhile the Conquerdriods were looking for that base of the Autobots and Decepticons.

"We are going to located it and do what we must and bring the sword into our master Conquortrone's hands," Maim said.

Then they found it. "Now let's go in," Cutter said.

Optimus Prime and Megatron were in the command center with the others. Then the alarm went off. "What is going on?" Diantha asked.

"A warp gate opened inside the base." Red alert told her.

"What does that mean big brother?" Lisa Noah's little sister asked.

"It means we have company little sis," Noah said.

"I'm going to go check it out," Hot shot said.

"Hot shot I'm coming too," Demolisher said.

"Be careful you two," Scavenger said.

Hot shot and Demolisher saw Maim, Trapper, Cutter, and Snaplock in the the base. "Look it Maim and some of the other droids we need to get them out of here," Demolisher said.

"Demolisher I have a plan because it looks like they are headed for the command center they must be after something inside our base. Judging by that minicon with them they must be after some of the minicons we are keeping in our base." Hot shot said.

"What is your plan?" Demolisher asked.

"I am going to lead them away with this," Hot shot said showing them. "I made this fake minicon panel just in case we may need it to fool the enemy and it emits a fake signal that is just like the real one. So I just flip it on and now I will lead them on a wild goose chase, you tell the others what is going on and have the trap the rest of the droids they brought." he said and took off.

Demolisher made it back to the command center and told them.

"Hot shot must have something up his sleeve," Diantha said.

"Yes and he's trying to buy us some time and so they won't get these minicons and relics, now we need to help him buy us more time by trapping the droids." Megatron said.

"Okay let's do this," Cyclonus said.

Hot shot came up to Maim. The minicon beeped. "Hey young Autobot do you have what we want?" Maim asked.

"What you mean this?" Hot shot asked showing him the fake panel. "If you want it you have to come and get it," he said transforming and driving off with it.

"Hey come back here," Maim said taking off after him.

"You can't catch me," Hot shot teased.

"You have some nerve," Maim said coming after Hot shot then a door closed behind Hot shot and Maim.

Cutter was trying to break through. Trapper and Snaplock went different ways. Then suddenly Demolisher, Scavenger and Chainsaw tackled Cutter and wrestled him into a closet and locked him in there. "Hey let me out you three great big oafs!" Cutter shouted.

"How about you find you own way out yourself, buckaroo," Demolisher said then he broke the lock.

Meanwhile Trapper saw Red alert and Knockout chased them and then he fell into a trap door and fell into a pit like place and his wings were badly damaged and the top panel closed. "Curses you lousy Autobots and terrible Decepticons!" Trapper shouted. "You will pay for this," he snapped.

"How about you sit there and be quiet like a boy?" Red alert asked.

Meanwhile the kids Side swipe and Cyclonus lead Snaplock into the warp gate. Noah started to put in some data and then turned on the gate. Then an image appeared of Alaska. "Huh?" Snaplock said and then was pulled into the warp gate and sent off.

"Where did you send him Noah?" Diantha asked.

"To polar Alaska. He should be able to cool off there," Noah said.

"Smart thinking kid," Cyclonus said.

"You sure picked up how to use our warp gate's tech pretty fast," Side swipe said.

Meanwhile Hot shot continued the wild goose chase and lead Maim where he wanted him to go. Hot shot transformed and Maim smirked. "Giving up already?" Maim asked.

"No but I got you right were I want you," Hot shot said.

"Maim it's looks like your arrogance has clouded your judgement," Optimus said.

Hot shot them kicked Maim into a power grid zapping him and Hot shot caught the minicon he dropped. "You okay little guy?" Hot shot asked.

Then the two other minicons woke up and then they release a sword and said: "Whoever's spark is worthy may wield this sword."

Maim got out of the grid and knocked Hot shot back and tried to grab the sword but was shocked. Hot shot started to fight Maim. "I won't let you hurt these minicons or anyone else on this planet or this galaxy, I promise you I will never be afraid to fight you Maim or do what is right," Hot shot said.

Then the sword glowed and it floated towards Hot shot. Hot shot was surprised. "Your spark is worthy." it said and Hot shot grabbed it and fought Maim with it and slashed part of Maim's shoulder spikes off.

"I won't forget this Hot shot, and now we have our eyes on you and will take this war to a new level," Maim said. "Droids retreat." he said.

The droids managed to get out of the each mess and head back to their base.

"That was intense," Hot shot said holding the sword. Hot shot looked at the sword. "Optimus here is the star saber sword I think it's best for you to have it," he said.

Optimus tried to take the sword but was shocked. "Hot shot the sword said you were the one who was worthy so you should keep it," Optimus said.

"Yes after all once the sword choses the one who is worthy it becomes imprinted with the bot's genetic coding so only Hot shot can use it since he was found worthy," Scavenger said.

"But I don't know much about sword fighting," Hot shot said.

"I can teach you about swordsmanship I know a lot about and done a lot of work in it," Starscream said.

It was a good thing too and Hot shot was eager to learn. That is how the star saber the most powerful sword made by Cybertronian hands ended up in the hands of Hot shot.
