chapter 4

Hannah was still training much in battle and was wondering what to do at the base there were plenty of bots who did fighting such as Hot shot, Demolisher and few others. Side swipe handled the tech. While Optimus Prime and Megatron made sure things were going smoothly. While Red alert and Knockout treated the bots when they were sick or injured.

Hannah was trying to figure it out. Starscream was her closest friend and maybe he could help her figure it out. Starscream was doing an experiment. Starscream loved science and was one of the bases scientists. "Starscream I am not sure how I can contribute to the base, listen you and I know each other better than others at the base got an ideas?" Hannah asked.

"Well the scientist in me says go for science but the one who cares about you says try many different things and find what you like." Starscream said.

"Thanks Starscream," Hannah said hugging him.

Then Starscream started to blush. Hannah noticed it quickly. "Are you blushing?" Hannah asked with a smile.

"No," Starscream said turning away looking embarrassed.

"It's okay there is nothing wrong with blushing," Hannah said. "It's a normal part of life," she said.

"Okay," Starscream said.

Hannah began to try a few different things at the base. She thought combat was okay but she really wasn't feeling it though. She tried survivalist work like Wheelie and it wasn't for her. Dealing with the tech she managed to get in a tangle. So she tried science with Starscream but wasn't having much luck. So she decided to go to the medical bay to try things out.

"Hi Hannah what brings you here?' Red alert asked.

"Just trying to find my place where I can help at the base, I tried many different things and it didn't turn out well because I feel it wasn't for me so I was wondering if I could try out helping out in here," Hannah said.

"Okay Hannah you can help us out," Red alert said.

"Great thank you," Hannah said.

Things were organized and someone came in. "Red alert, Knockout, I need a little bit of help," Demolisher said. They saw Demolisher had a sparkling crack. "Had a little training accident." he said.

"Ouch that looks painful," Hannah said.

So Red alert and Knockout started to treat Demolisher and Hannah was watching closely and then it was all taken care of. "There you go Demolisher," Red alert said.

"Thanks," Demolisher said.

Then a couple of hours later someone else came in. It was Side swipe. "Red alert, Knockout my throat is still sore from yesterday and I think I have a fever," Side swipe said.

"Okay let's take a look," Red alert said.

"Alrighty," Knockout said.

"Hannah if you want to see if this right for you how about you help," Red alert said.

"Okay," Hannah said and came up. Hannah came up to help.

"Hannah use the tongue depressor to look at Side swipe's throat." Red alert said.

"Okay," Hannah said she grabbed one and a small flash light. "Say ah," she said.

"Ah," Side swipe said. Hannah used the tongue depressor and looked inside Side swipe's mouth. It looked all red inside.

"His throat is all red and swollen looking in there," Hannah said.

Red alert took a look. "Yes it is," he agreed. Knockout looked at it and agreed with it too. Then Red alert felt Side swipe's neck. "Swollen cyber lymph glands, and you sound hoarse," he said. "Hannah feel his neck like I am doing and you should be able to feel the glands." he said.

"Okay," Hannah said then felt Side swipe's neck. "Yes I can feel the swelling, and I think the next thing we should do is take his temperature." she said.

"Good thinking," Knockout said.

They got the infrared thermometer ready and took his temperature. It beeped and Hannah looked at it. "Yes it's a fever 100.5" Hannah said.

"Yes you do have a fever Side swipe now any other symptoms?" Red alert asked.

"I am very tired and my tank feels funny," Side swipe said.

Then they took a swab from Side swipe's throat and started to run a test. Then a hour later the tests came back. "It's Cyvero throat so you need to go to bed." Red alert said.

"Okay," Side swipe said and left the medical bay.

"Wow, I just helped a patient," Hannah said.

"Yes you did," Red alert said.

"You know it was quiet interesting and I kind of liked helping in this way I use to play doctor with my toys all the time," Hannah said. Then for the rest of the day Hannah helped out in the medical bay and soon started to help there more often. "I think know how I can help the team." she said.

"You do?" Starscream asked.

"Yes I think I can be a medic I kind of like working in the medical bay and helping Red alert and Knockout," Hannah said.

"Well if that is what you want go for it," Starscream said.

Everyone was happy for Hannah because now she was studying to be a medic. Hannah was doing really well as a medical student and was making everyone really proud of her. Her classes were not easy but her training was going well. Hannah was a prodigy when it came to the medical work mostly because her parents were both different kinds of doctors, her mom was a doctor for people while her father was a veterinarian or an animal doctor.

Hannah was starting to do work and making medical charts and thing and diagrams. Hannah was almost finished with the schooling online and was soon going to do on the job training in a couple of weeks.

Hannah's degree came in and now she was going to do even further training. Hannah was now a medic and was going to start learn more medical skills to help bots.

Scavenger came in with a hurt arm and Hannah treated it under the watch of Red alert and Knockout. She did it correctly and his arm was as good as new.

"Thanks Hannah," Scavenger said stretching his arm out.

Hannah was glad he was feeling better. Hannah was happy that it went well. "Hannah you are becoming a fine young medic you should be proud," Red alert told her.

"Thank you," Hannah said.

There was still much to do. There were still minicons and relics to gather.
