Hannah is in the medical bay learning from Red alert and Knockout. She is a medical student. She may have graduated but soon she will be a full fledged medic. She was eager to learn all to be a medic. There were some many different things to learn. Soon three more medics arrived to help out in the medical bay.
"Ratchet and First aid it is good to see you again," Red alert said.
"I am happy to see you again Scalpel," Knockout said.
"It's good to see you again too Red alert," Ratchet said.
"Yes it's good to see you," First aid said.
"Nice to see you too," Scalpel said. "Who is she? Why is she in the medical bay? She doesn't look hurt or sick," he said.
"This is Hannah," Red alert said. "She was once a human and now she is one of us, she just finished getting her Cybertronian Medical degree in a record time and now she is a medic in training," he said. "We are helping her learn to be a medic." he said.
"I see sorry for snapping," Scalpel said.
"Nice to see a flier is interested in doing medical work," First aid stated. "It's nice to meet you," he said.
"Nice to meet you miss," Ratchet said.
"Nice to meet you all too," Hannah said.
"Now come on all off you we have a busy day so we have a lot of things to do," Red alert said.
Jetfire came in he had his hand on his optic. He noticed the other new medics. "I think there is something in my optic because it's watering and it really hurts." Jetfire said.
"Let me see," Ratchet said. He got a flashlight and shined it in Jetfire's optic. "I see nothing in there," he said.
"Can I take look?" Hannah asked.
"Sure," Ratchet said.
Hannah looked in the optic and saw it lids were a little bit puffy around it and it look like it was sparking there was static. "Take a close look Ratchet the lids of the sore optic is a little swollen." she said.
Ratchet looked at the optic and saw it was swollen. "Yes I do see some swelling," he said.
"I also see some sparking and static." Hannah said.
Ratchet took a closer look and saw the static and sparking. "Hmmm, well spotted," Ratchet said. "I think it's crackle optic," he said.
"Crackle optic I read about it in a medical data pad it's when the optic is infected and sparks and full of static. It made me think of pink eye in people." Hannah said.
"Well just to be sure we will do a couple of lab tests," Ratchet said. Then did the tests quickly. Then got the results. "It's crackle optic alright," he said. "Bacterial to be precise and I found the Cybertronain bacteria causing it so I have the right antibiotic optic drops to treat it." he said.
"It's good thing you took a closer look Hannah," Red alert said. "This could've been a big problem if it spread around the base," he said.
"Here are your optic drops and drop it in your optic twice a day for 10 days," Ratchet said.
"Okay," Jetfire said.
"We better check the optics of the other bots just in case," Knockout said.
"Good idea," First aid said.
"We better tell Optimus and Megatron about this," Scalpel said.
Optimus and Megatron were told. They agreed that it was a good idea. "Attention Autobots and Decepticons in the base, please report to the medical bay one at a time so the medics can examine your optics we have a case of crackle optic so it's important for all of you to wash you hands and not touch your optics." Optimus said.
"No sharing binoculars or other objects that will touch your optic area," Megatron added.
Hot shot was the first in. The medics looked at his optics. "Okay Hot shot, your fine," Ratchet said.
They looked at the other bots and cons. None of them had crackle optic. It was such a relief. "That's good now we just have to make sure it doesn't spread." Ratchet said.
"Yes," Knockout said.
Then a couple of weeks later Hannah was coming up with special techniques of natural Cybertronian medicine and discovered just like people and animals Cybertronians have pressure points and found out by massaging them, applying pressure or sticking in needles to certain ones help relieve pain, stress, fatigue and relieve tight joints and parts.
Hannah was allowed to work on this technique and she did really hard work. She made different charts of all the different nerve points on the different body types of Cybertronians. She also came up with different massage, pressure and needle techniques. She was doing well and soon Red alert and the other medics were allowing her to trying in it on patients.
It was worked but she made her own fair share of mistakes to say the least. Not just coming up with her own techniques but also learn the different types of medical treatments the other medics were really good at.
"Hannah you are coming far you should be very proud of yourself." Ratchet said. "You are becoming a fine young medic," he told her.
"Thank you," Hannah said.
Now things were still going on and there was still much to do. Cyclonus came in a few days later. "Hello Cyclonus what brings you in here?" Knockout asked.
"I was cooking and burned myself." Cyclonus said showing her burn.
"I can see that," Knockout said. "Okay now a little Cybervera gel and it should feel better," she told her.
The gel was put on and it felt better already. "Thanks," Cyclonus said.
Hannah soon discovered some days the medical bay almost no one comes in, but other days it's hopping and busy, especially when there is lots of training going on or a battle just happened. But there was still plenty to learn and do.
