I looove Ben 10, especially Omniverse despite the criticisms it gets.
This is the first time I've written a fanfiction since a year ago.
Ohhhh isn't this so exciting!? I get to make my own story again! Kdnekxjfmqlciwle.
Anyways on with the story, I hope you like it.
Set after the episode Third time's the charm. Though I made some alterations.

That is what describes the scenery, like a freshly bought whiteboard, devoid of matter and...well everything.
"A blank.. universe!"
A flicker of light sparked and a turquoise portal appeared. From the portal, stepped out a man wearing a white lab coat, with a brown shirt underneath, and a pair of goggles strapped around his neck.
"It is I, Professor Paradox at your service."
He exclaimed nonchalantly as the portal began to close behind his back. "There are many ways to tell a story, and that's what makes them so.. intriguing." Besides Paradox, a holographic tree appeared. "This is the Ben Ten universe," Paradox said, pointing at the tree. "and this trunk represents the main timeline, the Universe prime as I would like to call it." Suddenly, branches began to burst out from the trunk.
"And these are alternate timeless, those where the story takes an unexpected turn and branches out and becomes its own separate timeline." The tree began to glitch out and dissapears. "So many choices, so many possibile realities, perhaps there are infinite of them, however only a handful counts. Many of these are formulated within the minds of people such as yourselves and constructed into what you call it as.. fanfiction." The time walker then raises his hands at chest lenght and in his palm formed a branch. "Here we witness a new reality branch into existence, let us observe it.. shall we?"
"Show me how you did it, Ben! Show meee!"
Charmcaster screamed in a high pitched voice inside Gwen's bag. Micheal has been arrested by the plumbers and Adwaitya teleported away.
"Well, that's the end of that." Ben said alongside Professor Hex, Gwen, Kevin, and Rook, watching the plumbers walk Darkstar to their ship, Bezel had walked away to rake leaves.
"Glad to have you back Gwen. If that's all, Rook and I will be leaving now, see ya!" Ben said walking away from the gang with Rook following suit. "Ehem, excuse me, Ben Tennyson." Hex intervened causing Ben and Rook to halt and turn. "YYYes, Professor Hex?" He asked. "While I appreciate your help in putting a stop to my beloved niece, I do ask for your assistance in helping us cleaning this mess." The professor said.
"Clean!?" Ben exclaimed in disbelief. "Hello!? I'm Ben Tennyson? Saved the universe a bunch of times? I don't do "cleaning"!" He exclaimed, trying to make a point. "My boy is correct! What do you take me for? I am no janitor!" Skurd said.
Hex sighed. "I know, Tennyson, however, we cannot risk students finding my and Gwendolyn's secret hide out in all of this ruckus." He then turned his head to Gwen who as looking at him, wide-eyed. "I do have that correct, right, Ms. Gwendolyn?" The girl smiled and nodded in response.
Ben was about to retort when Rook placed his hand on his shoulder. "Professor Hex does present a valid point, Ben. We cannot risk students discovering anything that could possibly endanger the school." Ben looked away with a grump, still not convinced.
"Yes and besides, I have matters left unattended in my absence, and there's that woman.." Hex said as chills run down his spine.
Ben's unwillingness made Gwen pinch the middle of her nose. "Look, Ben, if you don't want to help, it's fine, you can go. Atleast Rook can help us."
Ben looked down and groaned. "Ughhh, fine! If you must!" He said, giving in to the guilt. Gwen smiled softly. "Thanks Ben, now let's get started." She said as they made their way inside the library.
In the library, the gang began to tidy it up. Kevin and Rook arranged and fixed the broken drawers while Ben and Gwen pick the papers laying on the ground. While gathering up the books, Gwen picked up a torn purple one, it had been burned, torn and is at the point of beyond repair. Gwen sighed. "All these knowledge... just gone.. I could've learned so much from this." she said as she unenthusiastically tossed the book behind her, hitting Ben on the head who was also gathering up books.
"Ow!" Ben exclaimed after the book hit his head. "Gwen! Don't just toss around random damaged books! We're cleaning, remember!?" He yelled, hearing a sorry from Gwen, he turned back to his pile of books and sighed. "And I thought I was the messy one."
While piling up the books, his knee accidentally made contact with the pile causing it all to fall.
"Ughh!!! This is getting too boring! And frustrating!.. I could really use a smoothie right now...If only there was a way I could speed this up." The boy then perked up as an idea popped into his head, however this did not go unnoticed by a certain Slimebiot. "Don't do it, dear boy! Patience is key." Skurd said, trying to reason with the teenager but Ben just shrugged it off. "Don't worry, Skurd, who needs keys when you got-" He lighly slammed his palms on his Omnitrix. "XLR8!"
Instantly, Ben picked up all the books and began speeding all over the library, while doing so, the winds produced by his speed caused the papers in Gwen's hands to flutter away and scatter on the ground. "BEN!" She called out to him, annoyed. Ben didn't hear his angered cousin and continued running, eventually accidentally grazing one of the drawers Kevin and Rook fixed causing it to fall down. "BEN! We just fixed that!" Kevin shouted in annoyance, Rook facepalmed but did not comment.
Ben heard Kevin and turned around. "AH- Sorry, dude, I'll fix that." He ran to where the fallen drawer is but suddenly, he ran into a pink wall, shattering it like glass and causing him to stumble down as his Omnitrix deactivates, turning him back to his human form. "Wha- Gwen! What's the big idea!?" Ben complained. Gwen stood infront of the fallen teenager, looking down on him. "Stop running around and messing up everyone's work! You just broke the newly rebuilt drawer!"
"See what happened, dear boy? I told you! patience.. is the key." Skurd said. Ben groaned and stood up. "Whatever, look, I'm sorry, Gwen, I'm gonna turn into Jer-"
"Nope!" Gwen cut him off. "Nu-uh, no transformations, Ben, especially not THAT alien, you'd turn the drawer to something like.. a book cannon machine or something!"
"Hey! Atleast a book cannon machine is way cooler than your lousy... book drawers!" Ben retorted causing Gwen to sigh. Ben started walking over to the broken drawer. "Look I'm just going to tur- WhoaWHOA!" Ben, not paying attention to his surroundings tripped on a book causing him to fall on top of Gwen.
Skurd shook his head. "That was rather dizzying, wouldn't you say?"
"Oww."
It took a moment for Ben to process what happened and felt something surrounding his hand. "Huh?" He looked over and saw that his hand was inserted in Gwen's pouch. Suddenly the pouch starts emitting a bright pink light blinding Ben.
The light then engulfs both Ben and Gwen covering them from the others.
"Ben!"
"Gwen!"
Rook and Kevin rushed over to the two cousins but by the time they made it, the light had dissipated and Ben dissapeared.
"Ugh, huh? Where's Ben?" Gwen said, still feeling lightheaded.
"AHH-!" Ben screamed as fell. It was only for a moment as he already hit the floor.
"HA.HA.HA.HA! Gwendolyn!"
Ben heard a feminine voice coming from behind him.
"Oh how the tables have turned, if I'm going down, I'm taking you with-.. BEN TENNYSON!?"
"CHARMCASTER!?"
AU: Yeet, ah, finally done with the first chapter, it's short but hey its a start!
Future chapters would def be longer than this though so don't worry.
Soo how'd I do? Did I do it right? How was the character writing? Is my vocabulary severely limited? yeah nah it probably is.
