It had been many months since Cyclonus found out she was pregnant. Demolisher and Cyclonus both been preparing for the sparkling. All the Autobots and Decepticons were excited at the thought of the birth of a new sparkling. The first one in a long time and the first one to be born on earth. It was going to be very soon. Cyclonus hasn't been to battle since finding out she was pregnant. She was looking forward to the birth of her sparkling. Demolisher was pretty excited too considering it was his sparkling. So it was big deal for both of them.

They had made a nursery for the sparkling and it was well done. Many of the Autobots and Decepticons helped pitch in to make the nursery and get things for the sparkling. This was a very big deal. So they were all super excited. The medics were keeping a close eye on Cyclonus. Lightstar has a lot of different medical training under her belt and came up with a new medical treatment of using pressure points which she discovered Transformers had just like people. She was excited about Cyclonus being pregnant because she was going to help deliver a sparkling with the other medics for the first time so it was very exciting.

Lately not a lot of Conquerdriod activity so the Autobots and Decepticons had more time to rest and relax. The other medics had to go to Gigantion for awhile and decided Lightstar was now ready to run the medical bay by herself for a long period of time. Demolishor was concerned that Cyclonus was going to have her sparkling at any moment. "It probably won't be for another two weeks so try not worry we should be back by then so nothing to worry about," Ratchet said.

"That is such a relief I was just a bit worried about her and the sparkling," Demolishor said.

"I was bit worried about that myself I would be a bit nervous with my first sparkling delivery to do it by myself without a more experienced medic to help I have done it in simulation but I don't if I could handle it without the help of a pro in real life," Lightstar said.

"We all feel that way at times, but you know life it is unexpected so you might want prepare yourself for stuff like that doing things on your own you never done before without help during situation and not during training?" Red alert said.

"Ref alert is right and there is chance the sparkling will come before we get back in a week in a half, because sparklings don't always come on time," Knockout said.

The other medics had to agree. Then they left for Gigantion.

There were a couple of relics and minicons detected and picked up by the team after facing off with droids but other that pretty quite.

Then a couple days later that July it was storming and the bots and cons were relaxing because there was no droid activity or minicons or relics detected so in other words very quiet and calm. Other than a storm going on outside.

Cyclonus was feeling pain. "Are you alright darling?" Demolishor asked her.

"I think so," Cyclonus said.

There was a huge clap of Thunder and the base shook and the lights went out for a moment. Cyclonus screamed after the lights came back on.

"Cyclonus it is just a thunderstorm why are you screaming?" Blurr asked.

Cyclonus was in pain. "Darling you alright?" Demolishor asked.

"The sparkling is coming!" Cyclonus said.

"Of all the times," Hot shot said.

Lightstar took Cyclonus to the medical bay with Demolishor. "Contact the other medics and tell them what is going on," Lightstar said.

The medics were contacted right away. They were told Cyclonus was in labor. Lightstar started to talk to them through the com. "I don't know if I can do this, I may have done it right every time on the simulator but that is when a more experienced medic was watching and assisted if they had to I have never done this in real life so I don't know I can do this on my own," Lightstar said.

"Lightstar the fact is you are on your own right now until Red alert can get there so you have to do this. You have done well in doing things you never done before on your own several times that is one of your best qualities so you can and will do this us fellow medics know you can. Just believe in yourself and do what you can until Ref alert arrives. I recall you aced that simulation each time without help just like the others because you pick things up quickly so in other words you can do it just believe in yourself," Ratchet said.

"Understood," Lightstar said. She got everything ready and went into the medical bay to help Cyclonus have her sparkling. Demolishor was there to being supportive of Cyclonus.

Things were going smoothly and Lightstar was checking everything. "Okay Cyclonus' sparkbeat and pulse are normal as are her other vitals. The sparkling's sparkbeat and pulse are normal to as are it's other vitals." Lightstar said checking things.

Then after six hours Cyclonus gave birth. "It's a boy!" Lightstar said. "He's a copter like his mother," she said. "Congratulations," she said. She checked all the important things check for a new sparkling, color, cry, reflexes, tone, breathing, size and vitals. All were perfect. The she put him in a diaper and wrapped him in a blanket and gave him to Cyclonus who held him close. Lightstar checked on Cyclonus and she was fine.

"Dustdevil," Cyclonus and Demolishor said.

"That is a wonderful name." Lightstar said. She filled out his birth certificate and other documents and had it all filed and sent to Cybertron.

Red alert came to base. Then came into the medical bay and saw a healthy sparkling and happy parents.

"Lightstar did it she delivered my sparkling and took good care of both of us." Cyclonus said.

"Both mother and sparkling are fine," Lightstar said. Red alert took a look and had to agree.

"Lightstar you did well you are no longer a medical student you are now an official medic after all you have done you should be proud." Red alert said.

A couple of weeks later the medics came back and Lightstar was given a ceremony to celebrate finishing her training it was perfect and wonderful. She was now a fully trained medic she was happy and proud.

The base had a sparkling in it now and the medics felt this could be the first of many. With the droids get close to defeat time would tell until there would be more sparklings especially because Autobots and Decepticons have learned to get along and live in peace with each other. This was good for the future of their race. Hopefully they will get the peace and chance to grow in population and rebuild their planet and enjoy the relationships they made with the people of earth.
