Chat Noir had hurried out quick when Gabriel had handed over his miraculous. He went straight to his room. Straight as he could, without revealing his secret identity.

What would he say to his father? Why had his mother's illness been kept secret? How was his father planning on reintroducing his mother to the world?

How would Adrien react without revealing his secret identity?

But- he realized -he would be revealing his secret identity soon anyways. Did it matter if he did it prematurely?

He has a lot of time to think about it. After all, he was now supposed to be in bed.

Ladybug wasn't being her careful-est that night when returning the butterfly and peacock miraculous. She didn't notice a certain lying brunette watching as she (as Ladybug) handed them to Master Fu, or the near evil presence while she watched Master Fu take out the Miracle Box to put them away.

Lila found the miraculous, and had a wish to make her mother love her. The next Hawkmoth was plotting the way she'd get her miraculous.

Three kwamis we're talking with each other. They somehow were all bound to a single miraculous, and didn't belong to any particular miracle box.

"It's been years since our miraculous was on earth! I'm excited to meet our new holder!" a feminine kwami said.

"It is awesome. I didn't think we'd be back on earth until the second coming!" said one of the boy ones.

"We would have been. Just not as kwamis," the other guy said.

God had given the kwamis a special type of mission to minister, like how he had given a different one of his children, known as the Holy Ghost, a special role. Later, they would all get their own human bodies and forget about their ministry as mostly spirits.

They continued to speculate about their next holder, and how he or she would act.

That night, Lila snuck in and took a Miraculous. Nooroo would have to serve yet another villain.

Hope was actually moving to a different part of Paris when the car had been dropped by Mr. Pigeon's pigeons. They had continued moving- to the same school district as our dynamic duo.

And, of course, that day was Tuesday. Hope would be starting school at Collage Françoise Dupont.

During the class role call, she heard a familiar last name. Apparently, the blonde boy in the front row was Gabriel's son, Adrien. He seemed to be tired. Had Gabriel told him yet?

The dark blue haired girl behind him ("Marinette Dupain-Cheng" according to the role call) seemed slightly obsessed. One look at the two reminded Hope of a different pair. Only the blonde was the one doing the crushing.

She snapped to attention while she was being introduced.

"This is our new student, Hope Eccleson. Hope, please tell us a little about yourself," Ms. Bustier said.

Hope started talking about herself, "As Ms. Bustier said, I'm Hope. I moved from a different part of Paris. Yesterday I met our local superheroe-"

"What do you mean met local superheroes? I am a superhero and I didn't know you existed until today!" That was said by the blonde girl in the front who Hope had recognized as Chloe Bourgeois, daughter of the mayor. Everyone knew that she was sometimes given the bee miraculous to help Ladybug.

"Chloe, I don't mean to be rude, but you know the hospital everyone was healed at? That was me," Hope replied.

"How? Please tell me! And how you met Ladybug!" the girl next to Marinette said. Alya, if Hope recalled correctly.

"How about hold that until after class, Alya. Now time to work on our history!" Ms. Bustier said before Hope could tell her. As all of the desks had at least two students at them, Hope sandwiched between Marinette and Alya.

After class, Marinette invited her new friend to her house. Alya would also come along. Hope was a very kind girl. Marinette soon learned that she was a very intense gamer as well.

As her tiny character on the screen did practically nothing, Hope did a backflip over the couch. As her cartoon car turned a corner, she leaned into the turn. She could get a workout in playing… playing any video game, really.

"Wow, your really active," said Alya, who walked in halfway through a racing game. Hope wasn't even on the couch anymore.

After tying in that invigorating race, Alya got her interview.

"So how did you meet Ladybug and Chat Noir?" Alya asked enthusiastically.

"Same way as you first did, Alya. A certain man with butterflies offered me something I couldn't resist," Hope replied.

"But when? I haven't heard of a battle in over a week!" Alya exclaimed.

"That's because there was no battle. Hawkmoth gave me the power to heal people. Turns out his great wish was to wake someone dear to him from a coma," explained Hope.

"Did you?!" Alya couldn't sit still.

"Yes," Hope said. "I was there when he released my championship and willingly gave it to Ladybug"

"That means you know who he is! Please tell us!" Alya was jumping up and down begging for knowledge.

"I think that he would prefer to reveal himself then have me say it. Besides, I promised I wouldn't tell a soul until it's public knowledge."

"Ok. But I do want to talk about costumes. Did he apply a sense of fashion this time?"

As Hope explained that the only change from her regular outfit was the color of her locket, Marinette pondered the events of yesterday. Was Gabriel telling Adrien right now that he used to be Hawkmoth?

"So you're the one responsible for the Great Hospital Healing!" Alya interrupted Mari's thoughts. That would have to wait.

Emelie was confused. Asides from waking to find her husband and her best friend/employee turned into terrorists over her, she had to hide until she and said small group of people could come up with how she was back.

Plus, her husband in his terrorist transformation had grown distant with her son. Her only child wasn't even getting a meal with his father. Her baby boy was growing up without parents for a year.

At least soon she'd be able to go to him. As soon as that interview was over.

Hope arrived home. On her new bed, currently not made as her parents had yet to find the bedding boxes, was an ornate round compact. It was mainly white, with golden branches and leaves in beautiful, deliberate shapes.

"Hey! I found it!" a voice rang out from downstairs. "I found the bedding boxes!"

Pocketing the compact, she went downstairs. She'd have to make her bed before she could investigate.

Lila was trying to figure out the transformation phrase. "Nooroo, just tell me already!" she demanded.

Nooroo already knew that she wasn't a good person, so he continued to keep his mouth shut. Silence would be better than being forced to do evil again. Especially without a noble cause. What did she want?

"Nooroo, just transform me already!" Lila had stumbled across one of his transformation phrases.

"I am to be called Apatura. You are in for the ride of your lives, Ladybug and Chat Noir," newly dubbed Apatura said. "Now, to figure out who my first akumitized victim will be."
