Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Soulless Soulmates. Enjoy the 2800-word chapter. I don't own FNAF, Scott and a few others do.

Roxy looked from her perch onto the racecourse which shared her namesake. She slammed her arms on the metallic railing which rattled it and left a small imprint. She heard something which made her look behind her.

"H-hey, you, ok?" Roxy heard a familiar voice ask which made her blink.

"Yeah, Jackie?" Roxy asked as the animatronic Jackal slowly started to walk from the doorway.

He held something in his right-hand which Roxy noticed instantly as she slowly started to walk towards her.

"Yeah, if it helps?" Jackie stated as he slowly started to march towards the railing. "The laser tag thing when it comes down to it? It was, an experience." Jackie said while he cleared his throat.

"Didn't they uh…?" Roxy asked before Jackie rubbed at his eyes.

"Well. We learned the Fazerblasters can short out my eyes. I also learned it's where 99% of people like to shoot me." Jackie said while he frowned to himself. "I also learned the S.T.A.F.F bots EXPLODE when they blasted," Jackie said before he tossed the object to the hand which rolled to the side.

Roxy looked at the remains of a charred S.T.A.F.F bot which looked deformed and shattered. Jackie smacked the side of his head which seemed to glitch. The animatronic jackal finally relaxed a moment later.

"I'm kinda glad you weren't there, Rox. Kids are merciless. My eyes still feel like they were lit on fire." Jackie said before he frowned. "Also? They need the band together for the moment. Said something about a birthday." Jackie stated while he frowned to himself.

Roxy rolled her eyes as she looked at her friend and bandmate. She was well aware of the fact their eyes were sensitive, hers were meant to be beyond the others.

"You good?" Roxy asked as Jackie tried to scrub the last of the pain from his eyes.

"Y-Yeah," Jackie said before he cleared his throat. "I'm still weirded out by not knowing where Bonnie is," Jackie said as he frowned. "I heard they know where he is. Isn't like him to miss a show which means we're a man down." Jackie said before he crossed his arms as both of them started to walk away.

"Wait. What kinda birthday party?" Roxy asked as her friend tapped his metallic chin. "Oh, crap! UGH! I forgot it's one of those deluxe ones. It's frying my brain thinking about that, the awesome track they made me WHICH IS NOT OPEN YET…" Roxy said, growling the last few words out to which she clenched her fists.

Jackie leaped a few feet into the air at her outbursts. It reminded him that they were having issues with their personality chips. He frowned to himself as he shook his head before he frowned to himself. Their personality chips had caused quirks in their bodies which had rather weird side effects when it comes to it.

Roxy frowned to herself as she looked around the building. She scratched at the nape of her metallic neck. She was interested in something at the moment which had bothered her a little more than it should.

"Hey, Jackie?" Roxy asked before the jackal blinked and tilted his head to the side. "Remember when I tried to talk with you guys in our rooms?" Roxy questioned with a small awkward tone in her voice.

"Yeah," Jackie said while he tapped on his muzzle while he shook his head. "About the fact you're the best and awesome and all that. Chica told me you tried to do her guitar thing." Jackie said as he chuckled to himself.

"Not funny, Jackie," Roxy said with a smirk that slowly faded after a few minutes. "There's a lot of stuff I wish I did differently," Roxy said to herself a moment to which they boarded the elevator as both started to think.

Both were interested in the show which came up next. It was rather interesting when it came down to their performances which meant a lot at the TIME to them.

"Well. I wish I wasn't almost burned by people. Kids are ruthless." Jackie stated while he crossed his arms over his chest. "I heard one of the S.T.A.F.F bots had their heads ripped off. One of the racing robots." Jackie said while he tilted his head towards her.

He didn't need to do notice the slight frown on her while she started to think of what to say. He didn't know a lot of stuff about her before now… But he was not going to tease her for being angry.

"I'm going to guess Montgomery broke them. He was always angry Freddy is the mascot of the place." Jackie said while a smirk started to spread across his face. "Sides. The staff keeps getting l-laid off. Their n-not going to be able to work at night. That's probably why Bonnie hasn't been f-found." Jackie said while he cleared his throat.

"Still the issue with the voice box?" Roxy asked herself more than her friend.

"It's a quirk of the p-personality chip," Jackie said as he sighed to himself. "Like the t-tough girl attitude you have or Chica's food-loving," Jackie said with annoyance.

"Hey. Rox?" Jackie asked while he tapped his fingers on his legs. "I haven't seen Bonnie for a few days. Have you? I'm still wondering if he's ok. He wanted to check something out from the Gator Golf place. I want to see if he's ok at the moment." Jackie said while he cleared his throat.

Roxy said nothing while she frowned to herself. She hadn't seen her friend in a few days either and it honestly bothered her. Where the hell had Bonnie been? The bowling mascot NEVER missed a show and it often made her wonder if something terrible happened to him.

Still? If something did? They had no choice but to simply ignore it for now so they were able to focus on their show. Roxy still cared about her bandmates even if she started to think about what to do at the end of the day.

"No…" Roxy stated to himself while she frowned to himself. "There's something off about what happened to do this," Roxy added to her friend while she sighed to herself.

Roxy watched as her friend frowned before she crossed her arms with a frown. She was well aware of the fact that Bonnie might be harmed at the end of the day. She wanted to find her friend and if she was allowed to? She'd do so if they had some chance and off time.

"Oh," Jackie said while he frowned. "Well. I hope he's good. It's worrying Freddy. I don't know what happens if we don't find him. Monty couldn't replace him; he doesn't have the same energy he does." Jackie said to which her friend was silent as he started to ponder what to do next.

Still? Their show had to go on when the day was done. Both wanted nothing more than to override the circuits in their bodies. Still? There was time on the clock and that meant they still had to follow their programming.

Jackie felt something inside him stir again and again. It was a rather weird emotion. Yet? He didn't feel like it was off or simply weird. It felt like he had known this emotion for many years.

He pushed it to the side for now as it bothered him. It was odd and he did not understand this emotion in any way shape or form. He crossed his arms and leaned on the wall next to him as he started to best think how well to turn this to his advantage.

Roxy tapped her fingers on her arms while she waited for the next chance for them to make it to the show. The sooner this one ended? The sooner she was able to help patrol for Bonnie and any others in this place.

It made her wonder what happened if one of them went offline. Did someone care about them when their days ended? They were well aware of the fact they were to be thrown in the trash if it came down to being broken.

"Yeah, Monty always breaks staff," Roxy stated to which her friend chuckled.

"Well, they broke my game, and now it's ruined for the day," Jackie said as he sighed. "Not to be rude? I don't care if the robots break. Their annoying and constantly bothering us. Watching them explode as they did? It was really funny when it came down to it… Not so much when it comes down to it to me being lit on f-fire." Jackie said while he sighed to himself.

He was well aware of the fact his chip was starting to bother him once more. It seemed all the chip did was act on its own and it was starting to get under his skin.

"Then maybe YOU set them on fire?" Roxy asked to which she earned a smirk. "Oh, and yet I'm the bad guy for decapitating… Crap." Roxy stated while her friend raised an eyebrow.

Both were aware of the fact that neither was supposed to curse when it came to their programming. It didn't bother either as they weren't on the clock when it came to speaking.

"It's nice when all of the band comes together when it comes down to it," Jackie said while he cleared his throat. "There's been too much of a nice thing and yet? There's still some part of me that likes when Bonnie is around if possible. He's rather soothing when it came down it." Jackie said while he sighed.

There was little that bothered him at the end of the day and yet? He was interested in what to do if he found Bonnie while he shook his head. He was rather happy to do next when it came down to it.

He sighed to himself before he frowned to himself as he started to think of what to do next. He tapped his fingers on his throat while he shook his head.

"This isn't the big warmup," Roxanne stated to which her friend said nothing for a moment. "There are still some concerns when it comes down to it," Roxanne added before she crossed her arms.

"Well? There's still some sort of work left to be done." Jackie said as they walked outwards. "I still need to help find Bonnie. It also helps that there's no real person to be going on." Jackie said while he clenched his fists.

She knew better than to say something which annoyed him. Roxy and he began their slow walk towards their destination. He wasn't going to speak for some time either as she also knew him to be deep in his thoughts when it came down to it.

"Sometimes I think the day will be rather special," Jackie said while he frowned to himself.

He dabbed at his eyes which finally seemed to have settled to himself as he sighed to himself.

"All days are special," Roxanne stated to himself and sighed to himself. "Like I am. It's part of who I am. People can't change it that easy." Roxane while he cleared as he sighed to himself.

He was well aware of what to do when they made it to the stage. He also had to find his friend before something bad happened as well which meant more searching and tearing this

"Easy, Rox," Jackie said while he rubbed at his eyes before he leaned on the wall next to him. "There will be time to admire yourself of the show. Sides? There are a thousand of these people at the end of the day who admire themselves and don't let it break them down so much. The ego doesn't help them perform as great as they usually seem to" Jackie added with a frown before he clicked his jaws together with anticipation at this.

He scraped his claws together while he seemed to wait for something to be happy. The anticipation with which he waited for another time to shine. Roxy was aware that he was enjoying himself when it came down to it.

"You that caught off guard by this?" Roxanne asked while he frowned to herself and started to think.

He sighed and rolled his eyes as his optics widened and closed. Roxy waited for an answer that took a few seconds for him to create. It was still worth it for the reactions.

"No. Simply the w-weirdness of today when it comes down to it." Jackie said before he frowned and crossed his arms. "There's plenty of time to be scared before the big show. I'm simply wondering what to do next. There's a lot on my mind at the moment. I don't know what management is doing next." Jackie stated as he rested his hands on his hips.

He was rather interested in what came next in life. There were many details in life that he hadn't been able to deal with before at the end of the day. He was rather happy with the results so far.

"Nerd," Roxy said as he smirked towards her with a raised eyebrow. "What? You are a nerd. A cool nerd, but you worry about stuff that doesn't matter. Trust me. We're fine today. These shows are always perfect. It's why management doesn't worry about the little details." Roxy stated while her friend rolled his eyes at what she had said.

The duo passed into the main room while both started to look around. While there were MANY nice and fancy places in the entire Pizzaplex? This was one of the few that he enjoyed the most considering how wide and open it was compared to other pieces of the building. It was the heart of their home and it connected to all places within the building.

Still? He felt it was rather empty at times. This place was rather giant when it came down to it and both animatronics had been around this place a thousand times. He was going to be rather ticked if he had been thrown off at all and let the entire band down at the end of the day.

He drummed his fingers on the wall with effort as they started to pass through the next part of the building. He cleared his throat and smiled while he tapped his fingers on his metallic chest. He had been ready to do more while he prepared for the band practice.

The more he had to do? The more excited he grew with each passing moment. It had been rather fun the more he considered it for passing the time.

"This place is always weird." Roxanne heard from her friend as he clicked his fingers. "Least we aren't alone. There are always people here and we have e-each o-other. I hate this chip at times." Jackie added before he cleared his head.

He smiled a second before he was forced to click his metallic jaws to get while he sighed to himself with annoyance as he did so. There was far too little on his mind for him to simply throw it away at the time.

Still? there was a lot on his brain and far too little time for him to consider it and ponder what else to do as of this second. How did they deal with certain issues such as this and how well did one of them properly handle the stress on his head?

He rolled his eyes as he did so. He was rather interested in what came next. He was entirely ready for something to happen and all of it scared him at the end of the day.

Roxanne simply closed her eyes as the sensors inside the metallic wolf detected no real movement in the area and nothing that forced her to be online. It honestly made her wonder if something was happening today or if Jackie was messing with her at the moment.

He yawned once more with annoyance present in his tone while he did so.

The two began their slow walk towards the stage with their hands slowly curling into balls as they did that.

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will end up being in 2-10 months and will show more of both Roxy and Jackie chatting and more of their bond and such… Also? I'm keeping Bonnie and one other character in the story. The next chapter will be 900-6500 words at the moment and will be a bit delayed. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
