"So, how's things in your Earth, did you propose to Lylla and how did she react?" Rocket asked Rock-E his counterpart from Earth 1610.
"She was surprised bro, when I propsed to her on vacation at Hawali, the kits are excited to get a mom." Rock-E replied as they were stargazing on the roof of Avengers Campus.
Ever since the multiverse had been opened there had been a lot of surprises, but meeting Rock-E that happened to be famous on his Earth made him happy, so after learning that the musical male was an only kit, Rocket had decided to be his big brother which Rock-E loved and loved hanging out with together having things in common like inventing as Rock-E had shown him his Milano including a certain female AI, olus Rock-E loved hearing things that his soul brother did, hearing about this crazy party Thor had thrown, which involved Rocket sleeping in a sink.
"I was having one of those nights, and was overwhelmed while Howard was being a putz, I'm pretty sure you get like that at parties, I know we are not that social, wait how do you deal with fans?" Rocket replied drinkijg from a thermos, seeing the spiky-blue haired raccoon male taking a sip.
"I fake it, the being social thing besides I feel like I owe my fans, Rocket-chan they are why I am who I am." Rock-E replied softly seeing a shooting star, makijg a secret wish, opening his eyes after a few seconds hearing Rocket ask what he wished for.
"You know the universe wish laws, if I tell you, it won't come true, like if you told me what you wished for." he replied hopijg it had been an actual star and not Carol glowing, he did not want his brother's hope crushed, guessing what he wished for, seeing him bring out fireworks, exciting Rocket.
"I know you love setting off fireworks when stressed, and I needed to let loose, so I brought some." Rock-E said.
"Ohhhh yeah, these look awesome, let's do it." Rocket replied seeing him nod.
He chuckled seeing Rock-E dancing a little, hoping the others didn't see that they were setting off fireworks hoping his bro was being careful seeing him step back so Rocket could set them off lighting the fireworks using Shocket's lighter which Carol had taken from her, which he had meant to return to her, impressing Rock-E, smirking as the fireworks went off, yawning seeing sunrise as he was not used to staying up all night, which Rocket understood.
They were goijg inside getting coffee, which was helping them feel better, seeing Carol there, asking if Rocket had set off fireworks seeing Rock-E cover for them, saying it was him, seeing Carol let it slide, impressing Rocket, that he had lied to Carol's face without freaking out seeing him breathe deeply guessing he had faked being brave.
"You didn't have to do that, but thanks, you oKay?" Rocket asked squeezing his paw after doing their fist-bump they had came up with which Thor found cute.
"Yeah, I wish I had your people-energy, to talk to others without my paws being shaky, or my stomach in knots or being able to look others in the eye withoyt my shades." Rock-E admitted which he understood, feelijg determined to help him out, hearijg him become sleepy.
Rock-E was sleepily walking to the hangar-bay, where his ship was getting inside, seeing Piper project herself seeijg a weary smirk on her friends's furry face guessing he had fun with his friend seeing him nod, telling her zonijg-out which she understood seeijg the door slide open surprised seeing the 616-Rocket there, wondering what he was doijg here.
"I was worried about him, after the fun we had plus he can't drive exhausted." he told her
"That is true, he's lucky to have you, you know?" Piper replied getting an idea, telling him to take the controls, takimg off makijg him excited but Piper grinned at his reaction going through the wormhole that led to 1610 Earth, to where Rock-E lived, astounding him that his counterpart had a mansion,mlanding the ship in the hangar-bay hidden in the garage seeing Rock-E awaken, having a headache getting cherry soda from the mini-fridge.
"I hate when that happens, wait what is Rocket-chan doing here?" he said surprised.
"Relax it was Piper's idea, you have a mansion?" he replied seeing Rock-E nod.
"Is that you, why did you disappear for the whole night?" they heard a voice ask.
"Lyllie's like this, when I take my ship for a spin, maybe we should tell her." Rock-E heard Piper say seeing him nervous at this thought rememberijg alternate versions of him and Lylla tellijg them how the future should be for them seeing Rocket hide seeing the ship door slide open seeijg Lylla there, hugging Rock-E tight, seeing him rub her back, finding that sweet along with Piper seeing her stunned as he came out of hiding, explaining impressing her realising if Piper had brought him here in her Rocket's ship, how was he goijg to get back to 616-Earth?
"I'll figure it out, Lyllie but I don't mind hanging here." he said.
He and Rock-E did their fist-bump which made Lylla chuckle, as they left the garage going to the kitchen to have breakfast guessing they were exhausted after being up all night, hearing footsteps and giggling stunnijg Rocket that his bro was a father to kits seeing Lylla smirk seeing Casey, PJ and Shocket huggijg Rock-E as they had missed their dad, staring at Rocket seeing him shy beijg curious makijg Rock-E chuckle at his girls.
"This is your uncle Rockie from Earth-616, Aunt Piper brought him here." Lylla told tjem, as they were askimg questions, unaware that PJ had slipped out into the garage openijg the door of her dad's ship getting inside stunning Piper and made her happy her kit was here, hearijg her asking her, to tell her a certain story which she was okay with, knowing PJ would be having her first day of school with Casey and Shocket so was telling her about how she and Rocket were friends, making PJ happy.
Rock-E was surprised seeing PJ in his ship, listenijg to Piper tellung her a story, about him and Piper's hearinf the female kit giggle makijg him smile knowing she didn't call Lylla mom after getting married, guessing she considered Piper her mom not Lylla hoping that Rocket might help with that, saying to PJ that she could not sneak into here to listen to the AI version of her mom tell her stories and was encouragijg her to come talk to her uncle, seeing the spiky-haired kit follow him.
"She was in the Milano with Piper." he told Lylla as they were outside, suddenly seeing blue mist covering the area, seeing Rocket activate a face-shield seeing Casey create a shiekd around her mom and sibs noticihf her dad breathing it in, coughing hearing Lylla askimg if he was alright after the mist disappeared.
"That was terragen mist, how did it get here?" Rocket asked.
"T-The men in suits did it, I'm sure of it, I don't feel so good." Rock-E said.
"Daddy will be okay right, uncle?" PJ asked scared.
"He'll be alright, he just needs to rest." Rocket replied
After bringing him inside, they put Rock-E on the couch, taking his shades off gently, hoping the terragen mist had not made him sick, seeing his phone go off guessing it was his brother's band manager asking if he was okay after what had happened pretendijg to be his bro, making Lylla giggle after he hung up, seeing the smile on Rocket's face fade, wondering why terragen mist had activated here explainijg to her about the terragen mist, making her understand.
"Did it happen in your Earth?"" Lylla adked him.
"Yep, and gave Terrans powers." he replied.
Lylla's eyes widened in surprise at his words, wondering if others in Tokyo got powers too seeing him nod so hoped that heroes like Luna Snow could help, only if Rock-E had gotten powers, he could become a hero seeing Lylla agree remembering that Fury had talked to him about this only he said he would think about it so Rocket would talk to him when he woke up, drinking coffee seeing it was time for the kits to have naps seeing Casey, PJ and Shocket going to their rooms, which made Rocket chuckle.
"You want me to help?" he adked.
"I think I can handle things." she told him.
Later that afternoon, Rock-E began to stir feeling weird and hungry stretching running at super-speed, finding himself somehow in rhe kitchen impressing him, going to the fridge accidentally pulling the door off stunning him along with Lylla guessing this was because of that terragen mist her mate had breathed in, seeijg him takimg deep breaths, seeijg Rocket ask what was goijg on hearing Rock-E tell him, weird things were happening to him pointing to the fridge door on the floor.
"The mist gives or activates super powers in those that breathe it in, awww he has powers like Casey we have to teach him, before he does damage accidentally." he said to Lylla impressing her, telling Rock-E that he could be a hero, like the ones Casey read about in her manga books, seeing Rocket agreeing, sensing his bro felt nervous about this, understanding saying that he and the others would help him which relieved him.
"Okay, just don't let my record label know." he said drinkijg cherry soda.
"I know it's scary, but we believe that you can do this." Lylla said kissing him.
Casey had overheard this being unseen through her cloaking-power, excited her dad had powers like her, deciding to keep this secret from her sisters appearing from out of nowhere in the living-room impressing Shocket, saying PJ was in her room playing her bass guitar which their dad had given her, making Casey smirk seeing their parents along with their uncle from another planet telling them their dad had superpowers now, impressing Shocket.
"PJ is in her room, playing guitar, daddy." Shocket told Rock-E.
"That's okay, I'll show her later." he replied to them.
Over the next few days, Rocket was helping Rock-E learn to control his newly gained powers with Casey's help which she was loving along with Shocket watching them train, seeing her dad happy discovering powers besides him deciding to talk to Fury making Lylla happy about this, because he could kick some tail, hearing him and Rocket chuckle at this.
"Good thijg you still have his card." Lylla told him seeing Rocket agreeing, only Rock-E was leading his brother to his ship, getting in, telling Piper to go to Earth-616 making her undrest and, going through the wormhole appearing in Earth -616 landing outside Avengers Campus.
"Arigatou bro, I'll see you soon, or I'll come to you." Rocket told him.
"You're welcome and of course, we're bros." Rock-E said getting back into his ship.
Rocket watched as it left, smirking goijg inside seeing his Casey and Shocket hug him as they had been worried about him, making him surprised seeing Howard relieved he was okay listening to him tell them, where he had been the last few days seeing Casey smirk at this.
"I'm glad you have a friend like him." she said.
"Yeah, his you and Shocket were excited." he told her.
He then got a text from Rock-E saying he had talked to Fury about becoming a superhero besides being a popstar making him happy knowing that Rock-E's Lylla was proud of him, including his kits replying to him, pkus hoped that he could help him out when he visited next time, seeing Casey and Shocket impressed wanting to help him too.
"Carol wants to see you in her office, she looked worried." Scott told him.
"I'll be back in a few minutes, alright?" Rocket told them.
