Thank you, he had said. Sakura wonders what he meant by that. [Sasuke and Sakura?]

Approval

"Thank you…"

Sakura often wondered what he had meant when he had whispered that phrase and then her world went black.

Thank you for what? For acting like a complete and utter idiot in front of him? A tiny part of her common sense suggested (but she thought it was simply her poor excuse for a heart wanting to believe) that he had thanked her for loving him unconditionally.

How odd. She was only twelve years old, how could she love him at such a young age? She had liked that shy, handsome boy at age six, and then, it had become a rivalry with all the girls and she lost track of why she actually liked him.

Now, she was pondering why he said those words, the most honest he had expressed after 'you're annoying'. Most of his sentences contained two words really, and in them, was either approval or disapproval.

Sakura wished Sasuke would approve her.

So… when he said thank you- did he approve of her?

"Sasuke-Kun, come back so I can ask you…"
