Chapter 32:

Earlier in the morning..
U.A. Conference Room

Naomasa stood in his very formal clothing as he presented his conclusion he pulled from the USJ accident. His son looked at him, with a slight twinkle of admiration in his eyes. Since the greenette is injured, he and his parents both decided it'd be better if he stayed home for a while.

Eji was ecstatic to see the cute cat, I mean, honestly, I do not blame her. The little girl had slept with him in his room, he was always happy to get mini cuddles from the cat and little sibling.

Functioning with a sling was very annoying, he had to admit that. But his grandma gave him the stink eye, just enough to scare the crap out of him. So he complied and decided it was best for him to listen. He is pretty sure his mother was reporting back to her. One wrong movement and he'd get the walking stick.

He shook himself out of his internal thoughts, "I did a search for the name 'Shigaraki' and his quirk that Izuku dubbed as 'Disintegrate', it makes the person or object he touches crumble down into ash pieces. With that, Izuku and I searched the data banks and couldn't find anything." He then threw a look at his son, who gave him a confident smile. "Same goes for the 'Warp-Gate' quirk. They either never got registered or they're aliases. In any case, they are shadow-people, never handed in their quirk registration forms."

The Western styled hero quipped, "So long, story short, we got nothin'. Once their ringleader, Shigaraki, heals from the gunshot wounds, they'll give us hell."

As the side talking continued and the teachers started sharing their thoughts, Naomasa continued, "We rounded up 7c2 villains at USJ the other day. All third-rate thugs. The problem is that they all seemed to swear allegiance to 'Shigaraki', and followed without any questions."

Present time
Classroom of 1-A:

"This sports festival will be more controlled when it comes to crisis control. Police presence will be five times bigger than normal." A pause, "What you should be thinking is, what a huge chance the sports festival is for all of you. Our sports festival is one of Japan's biggest events!"

"The country's top heroes are all sure to be watching us!" Momo said from next to Izuku, "It's because they'll be scouting for us!"

The tension in the classroom started to rise as the quiet got interrupted,..

Buzz Buzz Buzz

Izuku cringed a bit before picking up his pager, 'Come to the office, this is about your position considering the sports festival.' Nezu had sent him.

He tilted his head, confused. 'What would Nezu need?'. He shook his head and caught Momo staring, giving her a two-fingered salute he started packing his bag.

Not noticing the embarrassed but still a bit red face of Yaomomo. Holding his pager up to Aizawa as he stood and left the classroom. Ignoring the jealous looks of Mineta, who was basically shaking in his seat.

"That motherfucker! He already got the busty pinkette and now Yaoyorozu?" The 'pop off' quirk user mumbled under his breath as a pink aura left his body.

Izuku looked at the slightly empty hallways, only noticing a few students roaming the hallways with an amount of paperwork. Him being friendly he waved and smiled back as he neared the principal's office.

He knocked.

"Come on in!" An excited voice called.

He placed his hand on the door knob and twisted it, he bowed at the chimera before sitting down on his seat.

He was very proud considering he had a seat, I mean, he doesn't get in trouble but still. Being a personal student and U.A. The Teacher Assistant had its perks.

"Thank you for coming so fast." The chimera quipped from his seat, "This is regarding your sports festival decision." A bundle of papers in a yellow like map slid across the table.

Izuku reached over and opened it, "Internships?"

Nezu nodded, "I have two options for you." He held up a paw, "First one is! You just do the sports festival just like any other student, get another dash of fame." He frowned at that, "and get recognized like any other student, but paying close attention to you."

"Second option?"

"You stand down at the field for some rounds with Midnight to moderate the events or sit in the booth with Present Mic and Aizawa. You'd be able to give a lot of insight commentating. With you already being a known figure, you'll be fighting some pro heroes to show off your skills." The principal explained.

Izuku considered it, he knows that he has a special position here at U.A. but being treated like any other student sits very right with him. Like any other classes, they don't really know one another's quirks in depth unlike him. That'd be unfair to any of them. Unknowingly to him, he was muttering once again, not having shook off the old habit.

Nezu just looked at him, amused.

If he was in the booth or down there with Midnight, he'd be able to show off his leadership skills. He thinks but kind of doubts it. What pro heroes would he fight? Would he be able to show off his analyst skills? Does he need to explain rules?

He gasped loudly, "I can choose another student!" He exclaimed, but cleared his throat as he made eye contact with Nezu, "I'm choosing the second option." another question formed in his head, "What about the internships?" He asked and tapped the closed folder.

"That has another two options..." Nezu started, "You can use your own connections and internship offers from the sports festival and do your own internship with your chosen hero. Or you can intern with me." The chimera declared and held his head high.

Izuku blinked, "How would interning under you work?"

"You'd do some training and lessons with me. The folder you have there, is a list of pro heroes who you could choose from. I matched their personality, morals and effectiveness in actually being able to teach you something. You'll be accompanying them somewhere around 1200, making you available just like any other hero. " Nezu said.

The Tsukauchi bit the inside of his cheek, "That does sound far better than the first option." He couldn't really notice it but Nezu was smirking and purple aura started to shed off of him.

Izuku then smirked back, the aura faltering a bit, "How much freedom will I have?"

The aura grew bigger and another aura grew off of Izuku, "With my permission? When needed."

Outside, Kayama looked inside, holding up a silly string container. She whimpered once she saw the purple aura leak from under the door, "Oh no." She whispered and ran. She held a watch up to her mouth and spoke, "Code purple. Code purple."

Her watch interface turned purple.

Izuku felt his buzz, and clicked on it, "The three are notified of our ideas," He looked up at the principal, "We better have to split up and meet one of them before Midnight can get to them."

They nodded at each other as Izuku walked to the pillar, walked into another secret elevator and disbanded to the place where the three would meet in these cases.

1-A classroom.

Stepping outside of the cabine, he shuffled out a few papers. his shoulder bag resting on his good shoulder, of course. He knocked on the door and gave his signature smile, "Hello Eraser!" He said cheerfully.

The man squinted at him, "Hello Tsukauchi, anything I could help you with?"

"No no," He waved his hands, making sure the papers didn't fly out, "I'm here to give 1-A performance in general. Some of your students might need to learn some quirkless training. You could maybe help them. Uncle Might wouldn't be able to since he is buffed up all the time." He explained.

The black-haired man nodded, "Just put them on my de-" A panting duo bursted through the door, "SHOuTA!" A man cried out, using his quirk, once again.

Izuku placed the papers on the desk and turned around at the two, holding up a peace sign, "Hello! How is your day going?" He asked with a smile on his face.

"H-How?" Kayama panted, "You were with Nezu.." She trailed off.

Tsukauchi frowned, "I was helping Cementoss with the more complicated structures in TDL." He looked at his pager and saw that Nezu manipulated one of the messages. "Look."

He showed it in her face, "Nem.. Did you give me a heart attack for nothing?" Present Mic started.

Another voice boomed over them as red light emitted from his eyes, "Did you interrupt my nap time?"

Izuku took a deep breath in and cocked his head, "Looks like you guys just," He leant in slightly, "Fucked up." He whispered. Another smile appeared on his face, "Bye Eraser! I need to go deliver some other papers on 1-B."

He shot Nemuri a playful wink and gave her a two-fingered salute, "Bye bye!" He gave Hizashi a ' good luck ' sign in JSL.

He just nodded back at the kid.

Izuku hummed his song as he left for the 1-B classroom.

After delivering papers

"Hey gang!" He said cheerfully as he walked into his favourite place, "Coping?"

The peacekeeper took a breath in but looked at their representative troublemakers, "Your system is working. " Haya answered, "Al though, she somehow makes explosions."

Izuku grinned, "Good to know, only you and Hatsume here?"

Haya nodded and nodded to the door, "The other two went out to the testing areas."

"Did they get approved?"

"Yes sir."

"Great!" He clapped his hands together and walked to the huge table in the middle, "What to do~"He hummed happily.

Curious, he opened the email from one of his associates, his eyes widened, "Oh yes! Hatsume, I've been fed vintage support items!" He cried out.

A cheer sounded from her bomb corner, Haya just looked at the supervisor that was her age, "I need a break." She grabbed her water bottle and walked out the door.

He looked at the empty spot, confused. But then shrugged, Settimo did that a lot too. Most of the time Bateman and him were just discussing their projects. He gasped and clicked some buttons, "June! Darling. Please send Mrs from Marvelle a big thank you with sushi and wine." He said, "A new project has been summoned!" He laughed.

"Izuku." She looked at him, with tight lips, "I'm in a class right now." He actually looked at the call and blushed, curious faces staring right at him. He held up his hand and sheepishly waved. "Hello students! Please explode her whole classroom.`` With a thumbs up, an explosion was sounded, "I have to deal with another pink haired person that is related to your teacher." A deep sigh was heard, "Good luck!"

"Hatsume." He groaned out before dragging his feet to the corner, "What went wrong?"

Adrenaline was shown on her face, "I-," pause, "Don't know."

Izuku rolled his eyes, "Did you record the session?" As he made his way over to the small camera mounted at eye height.

"Duh." She rolled her eyes.

"Kohai, stop copying me."

"You literally told me to copy you as a child who documented his findings."

Izuku snorted, "What?" he dragged out, "I would never." He dismissed her accusing look as he opened the hologram and played the video.

At the end he looked at her, she was surprisingly quiet, "I might've gone too fast on small stuff."

"You might want to start again, you're banned from anything caffeine related." he announced as he got back to his workbench in the middle, zoomed in on the blueprint and grinned.

"Spider man, spider man~ Does whatever Spiderman does, can he swing? on the web, that's also related to some kind of nylon. Based on what Mrs Marvel sent me. Are the metals provided? Granted, those aren't that available in Japan, most likely dug up in Africa." He started to mutter, "Stronger than steel! Maybe make it bulletproof. Oh my quirks, I am just a genius." He exclaimed and hopped into his office. Immediately starting on the email.

Closing school time

A few knocks came from the door, Izuku rubbed his eyes underneath his blue light glasses, with a yawn he answered, "Come in!"

"I have the list!" Momo said and walked in.

"That's great, just put it here." He said and patted the paperwork in front of him. Looking at the clock he questioned, "How come you're here so late?"

"Meeting." She replied and looked a bit closer at her wounded T.A. "You look tired Midori."

"I don't really sleep well with a cast on,'' he said sheepishly," He waved away her concerned words, "Yaomomo, I think it'd be best if we start training after the sports festival. I don't think anyone else is being personally trained by staff. I'd show favouritism."

She stood there a bit quietly, "That'd be true." She nodded, "Let's do it after, yes. Everyone will have an equal chance at winning!" She said and smiled.

Oh that goddamn smile.
