Chapter 33:

Izuku looked around as he stood in the stadium, "So you can just transform everything because of the cement?" He asked and held up his notebook.

"Nezu accomodated this for me, due to speeding this up and all." The man said, "If I wouldn't be fast enough to stop it, you could be and help me." The man said.

Izuku smiled brightly, "Duly noted sir!"

Aizawa then appeared, "Oi, problem T.A. or something." He grumbled, "I'm showing you the booth."

He happily nodded and followed Aizawa to the booth, "So, my main thing is that I'll be commentating on the whole thing, and after that just, fight a pro hero?"

"The rat has been keeping me in the dark, kid. Can't help you." He grunted.

"How are your wounds?" He asked.

"I should be asking you that." The man replied, "The sports festival is two days away and you still have that cast on."

Izuku just sent the man a lopsided grin, "Grandma is getting this off for me in about two hours! I'll be hitting the hay after that." He pouted though, "I won't be able to go to the gym."

"Sure." The man hid his amused grin in the scarf he had. "Just don't piss her off, you're the easiest person who can do that, and I've known her for quite some time with my problem children."

"It's a talent Eraser." He put his free hand over his heart, "It's a talent."

"You're equally dramatic as Hizashi."

"Hizashi?" Izuku repeated with a shit eating grin, "So you two are dating!"

"I've known him since my second year at U.A." The man replied.

"Yeah and? Enough time to date! Which you didn't deny." He sang out and entered the booth, where talk about the devil, Present Mic sat. "Hey Mic-san~!" Izuku sat down in the empty seat next to the man, "Is this my seat?" He asked.

"Sure is!" He looked at the black haired man that was about to explode, "What did you do to him?"

"Interrogated him about you, whether you're not dating or are? Which, you are, right?"

"Married, actually. This year."

"Congrats!" Izuku said and grinned at Aizawa, "Do you want a late-wedding gift?"

"Who gave you sugar?" The man said, exasperated.

"Kayama-san did!" He grinned, "It came in the form of, like, those dipping candy? It was a whole packet with a note saying to eat it specially today and on the day of the sports festival."

"I'm going to kill her."

"No you're not." Hizashi said and then turned to Izuku, punching his shoulder, "Now kid, I'm going to show you the controls, so listen closely."

The greenette smiled, "Yes sir!"

"Little listener just called me, sir!" Hizashi faked, wiping a tear away. Whilst his husband just glared at the boy, 'Wrapping 'zashi around your finger? I think not!'.

Seeing the look on Aizawa's face as Mic explained everything was worth it in Izuku's opinion, he honestly just made it his mission to annoy Aizawa today.

Nodding, he said, "I got it!" Blinking innocently, he turned to his teacher, "Why is he glaring at us, sir?"

"He's just being a grumpy cat." Hizashi waved away, and let me tell you the man was not happy with the grin Izuku had on his face.

He made his face turn confused, "He looks more like a dog person," Pause, "Maybe even a bird."

The man's hair flew up and his eyes glowed, Izuku pointed at his hair, "I knew it! You should tie your hair more, 'Raser. It gives away your time!"

"What time?" The man grunted.

"The time between your blinks."

"I never thought of it like that Shouta," Present Mic said.

"Sure."

"Thank you little listener!"

That's how Izuku got on his bad side for about the time they spent in the booth. Once his watch started beeping he checked it, "Hatsume entered the premises. That's my cue!" He stood up and dusted his pants. "Good day!" He waved.

"Kohai!" He sighed as he entered, "You're supposed to be home, it's only two day off before the sports festival."

"Mind." She said and tightened the bolts on one of her support items, "Too fast!" Izuku winced at the groan it let loose, "Gotta go fast!"

"Hatsume," the supervisor said and sat down on the unoccupied seat, "If you're going to go fast. You will have to trust your inventions."

"But I-I can't!"

"Do you have a small support item you'll be using?" He asked.

"Yes."

"Work on that. I already double checked your items, they work perfectly fine."

She tilted her head. "So, I should just work on my smaller support item?"

"Since you most likely won't leave this place, yes."

She whooped and cheered, "I won't let you down Senpai!"

"I know." He laughed.

All of the heroics classes, general education, along with the small class of the support course were summoned the day before the sports festival. It is to say a few words, ask questions and discuss the rules.

With all of them in the auditory, which was quite big. The students were chatting among themselves. Smiling, he entered the stage.

They all got quiet immediately, each of them having a great deal of respect for the resident T.A.. He is mostly known for his cold and hard exterior during heroics classes, introduction thing at the recommended exam along with the reputation he gained with perverted students and bullies.

He smiled at the crowd and cleared his throat. "How are we all doing tonight!" He grinned, the crowd let out a chorus of their responses, whilst he's known for being cold, he is also known for the guy that gives out advice, the person who they can rant to and the person if they just want to hang out. It was quite flattering that he got a response. Kacchan said that no one replied when Present Mic asked.

"Good to hear! Don't train too much or else you won't be able to present at your fullest capacity." he said. "As you all know, I am both a teacher's assistant and a student. I won't be participating in the festival due to me knowing every project you built," The support course looked a bit uneasy at what he just said, except for Hatsume though, she's just tinkering away. "I know each one of your quirks," now it was the hero course turn to look uncomfortable, "Their weaknesses." He gave them a comforting smile, "But the best part is always what I like to focus on!" He said, getting pumped up. "Each one of you has a great quirk." He felt himself unconsciously looking at the raven haired girl, "In the crowd of both general education and heroics, practical quirks, multi functional ones and so many different kinds." He took a breath in, "A lot of you are aiming to be heroes, some of you are aiming to have an impressive diploma from a prestigious school and some, just want to show off their talent, skill, and their prized projects. Where they have put their blood, sweat and tears into." He cleared his throat.

"Tomorrow, each one of you will face your own challenges, your own weaknesses and your own classmates." He adjusted his glasses slightly, "But tomorrow, you'll also be able to make more connections, whether it is with your classmates, agency's, businesses. You'll have to rely on one another's ability. Don't underestimate your own. if you did," He put his chin up, "You wouldn't be at U.A.!" He shouted the last part.

A loud roar of the students crushed through the air. Making Izuku both swell up in pride and in a kind of embarrassment. Bowing at them, showing his appreciation. After clicking a button, the screen behind him activated, causing the crowd to go quiet once again. Small amount of whispers were heard, but they're not really bothering anyone.

"Sorry to get to the boring part, but we have to go over the rules once more!" He announced, a loud groan escaped from one of the students. Kaminari. Rolling his eyes playfully he continued talking, "The button on your seat is to ask a question, please wait until I state you by your name. Then you may talk." With a small smile and a rub of the back of his neck, "It just makes it easier this way, thank you for understanding."

"That's all." He clapped his hands, "Any more questions?"

"Is Candice here?" Kaminari asked, tightening his lips so as to not blurt out into a laughing mess.

"Kaminari, don't do-" Before Izuku could expose his actions.

Present Mic walked in, "Who's Candice?" Visually confused.

The T.A. looked at the electric quirk user, eyes full of dread and pleading for him to not do it.

Izuku laughed as he exited the building, of course Aizawa had to walk in and give Kaminari detention for only a week. Whilst none of his students could read the man, he did the honours and is pleased to announce that, Aizawa was genuinely amused.

Putting on his helmet he seated the motorcycle, before he could even turn it on. A familiar student ran up to him.

"Tsukauchi! I've been trying to find out who rides this monster! It turns out to be you!" Kendo shouted, "Can you tell me all about it, please!"

Blinking a few times, Izuku opened the visor on his helmet. "This monster, mind you." He said jokingly, "Is my baby." He unknowingly quoted Hatsume, who just felt a shiver. "I'll tell you all about it next time in class! I actually have dinner right now and I'd rather not be killed by Recovery Girl."

Kendo shuddered as she once had to go there, busted up her hands whilst trying out a move that she thought up. Did not end well, was hit by a cone for not being responsible until it came to her class and Monoma. Who had been considerably quiet lately.

Must've been the speech Tsukauchi gave after he taunted the class for stealing the spotlight.

'Monoma, I'd like to put this nicely. But you're very wrong for the comment you made, it is very inconsiderate. No-one asked to be attacked by villains and fend for their own. Some of us got really injured.'

"So, I am right here at the sports festival's stadium! With all the students I've been in class with and taught, I just know this festival will be an interesting one!" He said to the camera as he stood in the middle of the field. "Don't be afraid to ask questions in the Q&A box that I'll put online once it starts!" Ending the video he stood on the stage.

Turning around so he could see the students from their perspective later. He feels small and uncomfortable as he imagined the pro hero's that'll sit there and watch his every move like a hawk.

Taking a deep breath in, he checked his watch and decided to visit his grandma. Knowing that she has to be busy, so why not visit her.

"Did you break something again boy!" She accused.

"I haven't even stepped in." He pouted and walked in, sitting in one of the small round chairs. "I missed you too."

"Now now, you know you're my precious grandson."

"I'm your only grandson." She scolded and took the cane in her hand again.

"That's only because Toshi can't even get a partner with how focused he is on hero work!" She defended and then huffed before smiling sneakily, "If he had the chance, he would go for your mom."

Izuku sighed, "I know. He said that clear to her face with dad at the table." He then sniffled a laugh, "He put Uncle Tosh in the corner."

"Now that would be a sight to see!" Her grandma laughed.

Not having seen any of the students, he sat down in his comfortable chair. Present Mic next to him with a mini fridge of water, a tea dispenser as well. Which is great and all, but he was really looking for the coffee.

Looking in the corner, Aizawa's corner, he saw the yellow sleeping bag with the adult man in it. "Aizawa-san? Do you have any coffee?"

"Nezu would be disappointed that you aren't a tea drinker." The man grumbled and threw a small coffee jelly container.

"Dear Aizawa-san!" He started and turned his chair to face him, "My quirk allows me to change the shape of any material, except alive ones. It gives me free reign over how I use it, when fighting, it just flows." He said and shrugged, "I helped the man write the paper about quirks and personality mixing. Conclusion, is that I like to have options and choose from them."

Present Mic snorted, "Get lectured by your T.A."

Turning his chair slightly, Izuku grinned, "Yamada-san, I am your T.A. as well."

The man coughed in his hand and turned back to his microphone. Resulting both Izuku and Aizawa with a rewarding grin.

The young-adult opened his phone only to see that the start was near, sending a quick 'good luck to all of you guys, I'll talk during lunch!' message to each first year group chat he was in. Having met each class was quite the hassle, most kids in General Education were kind of annoyed at him. He understands, instead of interning under someone he chose the one where he took a seat and at the same time just floats around.

It's a seat one of the General Education kids could sit in. Even Support Class, but the genius, creative students are content in their classes, tinkering, singing contracts, following trends, analysing and brainstorming. Excluding exploding, Hatsume had turned it into her signature thing.

Talking about Hatsume, she had bombarded him with texts about the rules. She exploited all of the loopholes. Izuku was in no mood to ruin her chances, so he just told her to do it and keep his name out of it.

Nezu would appreciate someone noticing the loopholes.

He should also talk about the seat thing for Gen ed in the main class he gets lessons in.

Izuku felt a nudge as he was pulled out of his mental rambling. "The media." Present Mic noted. Aizawa snorted and Izuku rolled his eyes, "Typical underground hero behavior." he joked.

"Who put sass in your coffee jelly! Damn." Yamada said.

"No-one, I had it for breakfast." Izuku retorted and turned on the microphone, "Good evening media! Hope you're all settled in with your camera's ready! This year is going to be a promising show!" He said enthusiastically. He would never be that enthusiastic about fighting people for clout, but he got to see everyone's quirks once again, and how they learned to use it even better since the first day.

He was vibrating with excitement in his seat.

"It is U.A's sports festival! Are you ready!" The man used his quirk but stopped mid-sentence, the pro hero smiled at his husband sheepishly. "I heard that the Takoyaki is to die for, once again!" shaking his head, the blonde continued, "Let's all thank our best cook for this blessing of a food."

'Can you get me some takoyaki later, please! I'll buy next time we're out for comics.'

'You're buying? Wire me the money and you'll get your takoyaki.' Mount lady replied, 'You know damn well how far I go for free food, and I know you don't like how I do it.'

Izuku chuckled, 'Will be done, thank You!'

Unmuting his mic once again, he cleared his throat, "Izuku Tsukauchi speaking here, I think most know." He said and continued, "I have some connections to you pro heroes!" He exclaimed, "If you go to my social media or U.A. Official website, and submit your hero name and quirk, I'll be happy to recommend some students that would learn a lot from you!" He said with a smile, "I know that they all deserve recognition, since this is all posted online. You can revisit some clips and see the students in action yourselves." He hummed. "It's basically a quiz though! It'll direct you to the most fitting student, both ending up balanced or a perfect fit!"

"Same goes for support agency's. We have a crazy combination and diversity in kinds of support gear, submit the name and what kind of things you're looking for in their brains!" Finally coming to the end, Izuku continued, but put some intimidation in his last sentence.

"Just because I will be helping some of you, won't also mean that you don't have to keep your eyes open. Be a pro hero and be aware of the things around you. Be a good sponsor of a support agency, and keep your eyes open on potential."

He tapped the table, indicating that he is done. A proud Present Mic continued in the same enthusiastic voice. Nothing can make this man down. "It's the U.A. 's sports festival! The one time each year when our fledgling heroes compete in a ruthless grand battle!" the man shouted, Izuku saw Aizawa slip on headphones, with cat ears on it.

Slowly taking the phone off of the table, he snapped a picture of the teacher.

Click!

Time stood still, Present Mic, petrified, slowly inched away and turned to look at the man. Izuku took a breath in and turned his phone off.

The man just wiggled around in his sleeping bag.

Letting out a sigh of relief, Izuku turned back to the microphone and picked off where Mic stopped, "First up.. You know who got the media coverage for the reason they never really wanted! The first-years of the hero course! It's class A!"

Mic then continued, "Following class B, it's classes C, D and E of general studies!" The man said as the students flowed out of their respective rooms. "And here comes the support course classes, F, G and H! and there is the business course.."

Izuku frowned at how the man just rushed over the other classes, with a voice that some pro heroes know too well, a slight scolding. "Don't be fooled by class B! While they aren't well known in the media, they'll sure make a good impression later! Just you wait!"

the T.A. continued, "General course classes don't have internships but don't forget them! The ones who score high have a good chance to be seen in the hero classes next year." clearing his throat, "Support classes are here to show off their gear with a flas, and some with a boom. Business class will each be assigned a ranked student and post their project in marketing online in a special website that can be accessed by vitrified marketing companies!"

After his second mini-rant the attention was regained back down to the students and the particular pro hero.

A whip was sounded. "Now for the athlese's oath!"

Small talk was going through the crowd of students, "Keep it down! Your student representative is from class 1-A, Katsuki Bakugo!"

Izuku kept a laug in as he noticed the small wrinkle of panic, Mina just patted his shoulder, knowing how the boy can get by talking in front of a large crowd.

The boy slowly stepped on the stage as the gen ed students were talking about the different kinds of exams. Keeping his hands in his pockets, his mouth opened.

Bakugo Katsuki is not a person for public speaking, he would end up cursing. So what will he do now, he can't just refuse the position.

'Think like Izuku. think like Izuku.' He chanted in his mind.

"Make no mistake! First place will only be for one of us." Katsuki let out a sly grin. The same ones Izuku would give if he is helping his aunt with an interview. "But the chance it'll be me is quite big." He then enforced his glare over the crowd, "I'm not going to underestimate any of you. First place is two steps up that podium, I'd rather take those two." He then gave them a smile of mischief.

Students in the crowd mumbled about his overconfidence whilst the rest of his class just grinned, feeling appreciated by the emo child. Knowing that they will be taken seriously instead of just tossed aside. "Don't you wait Bakugo! I'll be on the podium with you!" Kirishima said with a bright smile on his face. Placing his hand on the blonde's shoulder.

"Now, without any delay, Let's get the first event started." Midnight announced. Izuku could feel the pressure and excitement of the sport's festival participants rolling off of them and into the booth.

"You can do it!" He cheered, but immediately blushed when he realised the mic wasn't muted.

The pro hero next to him chuckled, "Amature."

Izuku gave the man a look but then noticed his light wasn't off. "Right, amature recognizes amature."

Yamada scrambled to turn off the microphone.

.

Back down in the area, the wheel has spun around. Mind you, the activities that are picked out by Nezu and him. All of them are based off of what they have available and previous statistics of what the viewers liked the most.

Hearing Midnight the event; Splatalot's Tower obstacle. Izuku grinned ferally, he loved that one. Personally handpicked it out, and argued with Nezu as to why it should be included in the wheel.

.

While it was being set up, the students of 1-A were discussing what it could be whilst stretching. Meanwhile, Bakugo had something else in mind. "Oi! Ponytail! Can you make me some binoculars!" He half-demanded. Seeing her hesitate, he held up a nutrient filled bar.

Agreeing after seeing the bar, she handed him the binoculars and ate the bar. "Why did you need it, Bakugo-kun?"

"To see the damn nerd. If we can read his face, we'll know all about the event."

That caught Momo's attention, to be able to read Midoriya's face? She'd like to know how.

After a second and a loud noticeable gulp. "Oi! Icy hot! Get here, and tell me what the nerd's face looks like." Todoroki just nodded and took the binoculars from his hands. Looking through it for about three seconds, he noticed Momo not stretching but really paying attention. He held it out for her, not sputtering out any words.

"Thank you." Looking through the spyglass, her heart sped up a bit. She had never seen someone as fierce, which kind of made her sad that he's not participating in the events. With that look he would get some kids from general education to freeze.

He looked like he was talking to someone behind him but kept his eyes glancing back at the mini screen provided to see behind the scenes of setting up for the event. When he returned his attention back down to where, Momo was looking into the booth.

Gosh that was so stalkerish of her, invading someone's privacy like that. Before she puts hands back the binoculars. He caught sight of her and waved before winking and turning away again.

She let it drop down her side and frowned in confusion, did he just? Did she see that correctly? A slight blush appeared on her face as she handed it back to Bakugo.

"It means that parkour is going to be a part of this event. He only gets like that when we're allowed to do so." Shoto said stoically.

A flick was given to the back of his head, "You just lost our leverage! Earphones probably heard it too!" Letting out a frustrated muted shout. He continued and glared at Momo. "Stay quiet about it if you want to go to the next round."

Momo just nodded as she already began thinking of a list that would be handy with parkour. Some grips gloves would be smart. Or not, it would at least keep her hands from getting wounded.

"Can all the participants please set up at the start line!" Midnight called out.

"It is exciting to be here presenting with you Mic!" Izuku's voice rang out.

"Sure is, listener!" the presentator made his usual radio sounds, "Now! I know a majority knows that Izuku Tsukauchi is here with me! But the ones that know, also know that Tsukauchi-kun here is a hero student. Why is he not participating? Eas answer, he has an aventage as a Teacher Assistant. He would be able to pick apart everyone's quirk, if he hadn't done it already. There will be an extra longer break in the middle of the festival for him to showcase his skills!" Mic explained.

"I would like to mention that I have absolutely no clue what I'll be doing!" Izuku said with a small hint of amusement. Must be something he learnt from Nezu. Aizawa-sensei always complained about it to his class, something about a 'mini-Nezu' and 'Losing his mind with pranks'. It was a bit depressing but that was the main energy the underground hero gave.

"Just got word that the obstacle course is ready! Prepare yourself for this fun experience!" Izuku's voice was heard from the closest speaker. Something about his voice made her think that she would not enjoy it. Bakugo and Todoroki made eyeconnect with each other, and that just explained everything.

"Please make way to the line!" Midnight hollered. The line she was referencing was a tunnel that turns narrow, but what she sees from here it turns wide once again.

Midnight held up her whip and smiled, placing a finger on her lip. "Go!" She shouted without a countdown. She felt a bit confused at first but shot in action either way.

She felt a few jabs but pushed through, it's not as if she'll feel it later. Once she encountered the narrow part of the tunnel, she sprinted as fast as she could. Avoiding anything that could slow her down.

Keeping up with the running until a few other 10 meters, she stopped dead in her tracks. Same goes for the other students in her class, who seemingly were all in front as well.

"Welcome to the Barrel jumps! After you run out of the tunnel, you'll end up running for another few meters. But! As you can see, our lovely crowd, it goes down and steep. But who you can also see is our dear upperclassmen from general and business courses with hoses in their hands. What do they contain? SLIME!" Izuku crackled. "They can fire at will and make every task slippery, hard and just uncomfortable for you! So good luck to our students!"

Izuku then quickly added something, "The ground looks deep, which it is! but it's totally safe! There are three ladders if you fail to pass it, don't forget to sabotage others!" Great, a message to say that it isn't lethal. And not forgetting to sabotage others? Aren't they supposed to be heroes?

Faces of her upperclassmen that she'd encounter in the hall just laughed with a hose in their hand, up on a wall, laughing down at them.

Bakugo growled but decided to not say anything, but he was fuming on the inside. 'How dare they laugh down at me! I'll show them. Stupid Doku.'

Momo just bit the inside of her cheek, taking off the gloves. It would weigh her down. Maybe someone else would have used it. Talking about someone else, everyone was catching up now. Bakugo just jumped over it using his explosions. From barrel to barrel, but at the third barrel, he got hit with the light green slime. Making his quirk useless.

Todoroki just showed off his extreme good handling of his quirk and made ice spikes down at his shoes. Maybe it'll grip better. After he took the first jump, his ice spikes broke off.

"Very good wood." He said loudly and looked at Momo.

Momo frowned, confused why he helped her. Rolling up the sleeve, she created two climbing axes from her arm and jumped. Quickly assuring her that it isn't that hard to use.

A cold liquid went all over her back and she felt herself turn a bit heavier. She has enough power to keep herself and another person up. She'll survive. Pulling herself into a crouch position, she ripped the axe out and jumped to the other barrel.

Good, five more to go.

Tsu jumped past her, she probably is in her element.

"Bakugo and Todoroki are arriving at the 'Slippery slope!' I don't think that I need to explain it! But there are five pairs of them, enough for all of our students who passed the first course!"

Momo was behind. Clenching her jaw, she kept jumping.

Once she finished the barrel, others were slipping, falling and pushing others off. Some were even running right behind her, Kirishima seemed to be doing a good job. She caught a glance of him using his sharpened hands to really set himself into the wood.

There seemed to be a theme of running before other activities. Encountering the 'slippery slope' Momo chose the one where it wasn't really sprayed with any slime. Using the climbing axe she has in her possession, she threw it into the side and pulled herself up, making sure that she wouldn't slip.

She now was only a bit behind the two.

The crazy pink-haired girl she once saw in the workshop cackled with an automatic balancer as she went up the tower next to her. How did Momo know that it is an automatic balancer?

Mei raved about it during the barrel jumps.

"We just caught Bakugo slipping! Try again boy!" Present Mic shouted in the microphone. "Todoroki is leading!"

"Todoroki is now on top of the 'Slippery Slope'! How will he pass the Spiked Rolling Pin?"

Many of the hero students sigh at the names knowing that Tsukauchi and Yamada-sensei did put effort into it.

How much effort do you ask?

Not a single bit.

Todoroki sighed, why does Izuku just revel in his despair. Each time he freezes over the slime, a new batch comes.

"It's like those old nickelodeon Slime Awards! Geez that made my childhood." A pause and indistinct whispering was heard and a gasp, "What I am not that old, Tsukauchi!"

Feeling how useless it actually is to go uphill with slime, ice under his feet. Shoto makes ice spiked to hold, using his upper body strength while trying to keep balance with his legs.

Bakugo kept launching himself forward in front of him. He slipped once, flat on his face. Green slime was evident on his gym uniform. It was amusing, although he did bark something threatening out at him.

Once the two got up on a stable platform, which is too good to be true. "Welcome to the spiked rolling pin! Don't worry, they won't hurt you, that much." they could just hear the smugness in Izuku's voice. "Maybe a tiny chock, if you fall you'll land in water this time!."

Standing next to one another, Bakugo decided to eliminate the threat called Shoto Todoroki. When he saw him ready to run after taking a small breather. Bakugo quickly shoved his foot so he'd fall. The two-hair coloured guy just flopped down like a rubber board. Bakugo frowned, confused, as to why he's still lying and not moving on the ground. Thanks to the slime, Bakugo could swiftly shimmer him off of the platform and into the water.

"Looks like Shoto Todoroki went for a swim!" Present Mic shouted, whilst he could hear Izuku just laugh his ass off in the background.

Bakugo scowled, 'Spiked rolling pin is nothing like fucking shitty hair's hair!' He may have paused if he realised he thought that. But his priorities were somewhere else. Like beating stupid Todo behind him, to reassure himself. He took a quick peek behind him and he noticed...Mina?

Growling, he realised she was using a move he helped her think of. the 'Roller Derby Skate'. It basically meant harmless acid produced underneath her feet. Pushing herself forward. He had put her in a week-long extensive training to keep her posture, speed and technique up to date. With the already made slime, she's just boosting herself.

"GODDAMMIT!" He shouted and used his explosions to keep himself balanced and run between the hip length pins.
