On the Beach, the Crystal Gems were fighting against a large Corruption in the form of a pufferfish, who blew them away with a large gust of wind, making some of the Gems, including Steven and Lapis, fall on the sand, while some of the Gems, like Pearl, Yellow Pearl, and Onyx land on their feet.

"Is everyone ok? Steven?" Pearl asked looking at the others before looking at the youngest of the Gems. "I've seen better days." Steven told her happily while lying on his boogie board. "We got a boo-boo." Amethyst innocently told the leader while she, Soren and Pink got up. "Oh, walk it off!"

Yellow Pearl then shouted. "Watch out it coming!" The Corruption that was of a Watermelon Tourmaline, rises from the ocean and blows a strong wind at them as Onyx yelled. "Everyone, distract it, will try and find an opening!" He and the two Pearl's jumped off into the air.

"What do you think we've been doing for the past hour?!" Amethyst shouted back as Pink, Blue, Violet Pearl either threw their spears or shot plasma at the pufferfish who either dodged the attacks or blew the weapons away, back to them. "Duck!" Pink shouted as she and the two ducked. "Man, I don't see any duc-"

The purple and fire Gem noticed the Spear and immediately ducked, only getting a bit of their hair chopped off. "Steven's turn!" Steven shouted before throwing the boogie board which was a direct hit on the Corruption, only getting stuck to one of the pufferfish's spikes. "Yup, it's got spikes." Before they continued fighting Jewel looked in the air and smiled as she told everyone.

"Here comes Mom, Dad, and Yellow!"

The three said Gems with their weapons dropped from the air down towards the pufferfish aiming the sharp part of their weapons towards the bloated Corruption. "Smash that puff!" Steven cheered with Lapis before the puffer looked up and began blowing strong air at the three, causing their speed down to decrease before getting blown away over to the boardwalk.

"Aw, man! We blew it!" Steven said before a groan came from Soren. "I've had enough of this. Amethyst baseball bat please." She nodded before forming into the said bat before Soren grabbed her as they smack the puffer far into the ocean. After doing that Blue Pearl came up and told them. "Soren, Amethyst, smacking the Corruption far away doesn't solve anything. Now it's just gonna come back later and attack."

Amethyst tells her. "Yeah, so we'll deal with it later." After telling her Anaya then asked curiously. "Any idea where our leader went? Including Yellow Pearl and Onyx?" Lapis looked over at the boardwalk and looked worried.

"Pearl landed by the boardwalk with Yellow Pearl...But Onyx landed on that restaurant over there." Hearing this they began to walk or run towards the boardwalk."

Fish Stew Pizza

"Would you answer me?! You've wrecked my sign, and now you're just sitting up there!" The owner of the restaurant yelled looking at the male Gem who laid on the now messed up sign, not knowing what to say back to Kofi Pizza who questioned in anger. "Are we engaged in a secret staring contest?!"

The others soon arrived while both Pearl's at the boardwalk got themselves out of the broken wooden boards in front of the restaurant. "Are you guys okay?" Onyx sighed in relief and hops down from the broken sign. "I'm okay. Pearl? Yellow?" They answered. "We're fine."

"Hi, guys." Kiki greeted, waving to the Gems who looked at the sign. "This place is wrecked!" Amethyst said as she puts her hand up for a high-five which Soren was about to high-five before Anaya put it down. "It's not a good time for that," She told her before Violet told the Leader. "She knocked the pufferfish back out into the ocean."

Amethyst wasn't so happy about that. "Narc!" Pearl then told everyone. "Let's regroup back at the temple." She and the others jump into the sky except for Lapis and Steven who stayed while Kofi questioned.

"Where are you going? What about my sign? Steven! Blue girl! What is wrong with your friends? One of them busted up my sign, then they all just jump into the sky like some circus act, without even offering to help!" Steven then tried to explain. "But, Mr. Pizza!" Jenny then comes out of the shop. "Da-ad, pipe down!"

Kofi looked at his tired looking daughter in anger. "Ohhh! Did I interrupt your beauty sleep?" She yawns before telling him. I don't need sleep to look pretty." Her father yelled. "Now you listen here, young woman-!" He was then cut off by his mother, Nanefua who came out of the shop holding a dead fish.

"Kofi, you are going to wake this fish from the dead with all the noise you're keeping. Oh, too late." She began to shake and pretend to be the dead fish. "Kofi, you so loud! Aaaahh! Bleeeeeh."

Jenny laughed a little. "Gunga, you're so funny." Kofi then told her, looking a bit embarrassed. "Mooom! Quit joking around! Look what they did to my sign!" Nanefua stepped away from the entrance of the restaurant and looked at the broken sign. "Cheese on bread." Kofi then questioned before looking at the two Gems.

"Can you believe it? You're such a nice boy, Steven. Why do you and your friend hang out with those animals?" Steven tells him. "They're not animals! They're the Crystal Gems, and they protect humanity-" Kofi shouts. "I've heard enough!" This caused Nanefua to glance from side to side, apprehensively. "Hey, girls, I think I hear all of our cell phones ringing."

Jenny plays along and tells her grandmother while they and Kiki enter back into the restaurant. "Gunga, your hearing is so good!" Once back in the shop and out of earshot Kofi then told the two while pointing a finger towards them.

"Steven, you and your friend can tell your other friends that they are officially, BANNED, from Fish Stew Pizza!" The two couldn't believe this. "Wait, what?!" Steven said while Kofi walks into the shop as he told him. "Kofi, that's not fair!" When he and Lapis went to the window Kofi flipped the store's sign to closed. "This was just an accident!"

Unable to work things out, the two Gems began to walks away, Steven was in despair as he asked. "What are we going to do Lapis?" His Gf began to think for a moment with a hum before looking at Steven with a small smile. "I think I know, but we need to go back to the Beach House first." He nodded before they ran back home.

Later

Back in the Beach House at the kitchen, the Gems were gathered around the counter, talking about the Corruption that Soren and Amethyst had sent away to the ocean. "Why don't we just, like, let it roam free?" Amethyst suggested which Pearl told her. "We are not letting that thing roam the Earth."

"Hey, guys," Steven said in a sad tone while walking towards them with Lapis behind him. "We've got bad news, everyone. You've all been banned from Fish Stew Pizza." Pearl looked confused for a moment telling him. "Oh, uhhh, that's okay."

Amethyst admits. "That pizza wasn't even good." Pink and Soren nodded in agreement. "Even though the pizza's great, some of the toppings and other menu items are a bit odd in taste." The Fire Gem told them before Steven asked.

"Aren't you guys upset about this?" Blue Pearl shook her head. "Not at all." Lapis then points out to them. "They are our neighbors." Yellow Pearl spoke. "Oh come on, there's nothing we can do about that now. It's just a sign, they can replace it." Pearl then said. "Right now we have to figure out a way to take care of that pufferfish."

Before continuing on about the Corruption they lost Lapis tells them. "What's the point of saving somebody if they're just going to forbid you from their stores?" Onyx tells them. "We don't do it for thanks." Steven nods.

"Yeah, see! That's so nice of you, the Pizzas don't even know!" Lapis then told them. "If they got to spend some time with all of us they'd see how fun, smart, brave, and mysterious we all are." Blue Pearl chuckles at that last part. "Hah, mysterious."

Lapis then told them with a smile. "Which is why Steven and I will throw a little party on the beach in front of the temple! Just us and the Pizzas. Right, Steven?" He smiled and nods, knowing now of the idea. "We don't know about this, Steven. I mean..." Before Anaya could finish Steven then told them. "Don't worry! We'll take care of everything!"

Outside

On the beach, Steven was at the grill, cooking hot dogs and hamburgers on a barbecue grill with Lapis helping. "Man, this is gonna be so good." After Lapis flipped a burger with her water ability both she and Steven began to sniff the food before one of the Gems called out. "Hey, Steven, Lapis."

"Hey!"

The two greeted before they went over to the Gems as Violet Pearl asked. "Got everything ready for your little party?" Lapis nodded. "Yeah, and there's one more thing for us." Steven then hands them a magazine reading, Fine Summer Special. After Pearl grabbed it she questioned.

"What's this for?" Steven explained to them. "We were thinking you guys could change your outfits." Pearl then asked curiously about their clothing. "What's wrong with what we have on now?"

Steven shook his head no. "Nothing. I just thought it would be nice to go kinda casual." After telling them a voice not so far from them asked. "Is this the right address?" Steven, Lapis and the others looked and spotted the Pizza family walking onto the beach which Jenny told her family. "I've never seen this side of the beach before."

"They're here! Hurry up and change. I'll go and talk to them." Steven said as Lapis nodded seeing him walk over to the Pizza family. "Over here, everyone! Hi!" He greeted as both Pizza Sisters greeted. "Hey, Steven!"

Nanefua then greets. "Hello." Steven then asked inquisitively. "How are you all doing today?" Kofi tells him. "The shop is closed today because it's broken!" His family looks around apprehensively. "Oh, uh, that sounds, uh..." Before Steven could finish Nanefua noticed a good aroma.

"Hey! Do I smell hot dogs? Show me where the hot dogs are." Steven smiled and told them. "Oh, right this way, everyone." He soon leads them toward the Gems. "First, let me introduce-" Before he could finish Pearl interrupts, smiling. "We Are the Crystal Gems!" She shouted before they all began to change into their beachwear announcing their names.

"Pearl!" "Yellow!" "Onyx!" "Anaya!" "Violet!" "Blue!" "Pink!" "Soren!" "Amethyst!" "Lapis!"

"And Steven! But you already knew my name..." Steven said after popping up in front of the Gems. "Oh, you're all so talented." Nanefua complimented before Kofi said, believing what he said before was true. "So, you are a circus act." They all looked confused. "Circus act?" Pearl questioned before Lapis told them. "Hey, let's eat!"

Seconds Later

At an outdoor barbecue table, Steven and Lapis had setup Amethyst began to lift up a burger from the table and loudly takes a large bite. "Everything came out great!" Steven and Lapis smiled as they both said. "Thanks, Kiki." Nanefua looked at the others and asked. "Aren't you Gems hungry? You've barely touched your food."

"Oh, no thanks, we don't really need to eat." Pearl gave a warm smile when she told them which seemed to have surprised the elder Pizza. "Oh, you young people and your experimental diets." Yellow Pearl tells her. "We are much older than you." Nanefua didn't know what to say about that. "So, you all live in that tiny house up on that hill?"

Kofi curiously asked as Pearl waves her hand towards the temple which began to sparkle. "We inhabit the inner sanctums, only accessible through magical extradimensional doors." The pizza's looked a bit interested in how her hand did that. "What is wrong with your hand?" Jenny then asked. "And why does this place look like it's falling apart?"

"Well, the temple has been here for thousands of years so-"

Kofi Pizza cuts them off. "Oh! I see how it is, when something breaks around here, you just leave it alone. JUST LIKE THE SIGN AT MY SHOP!" Steven then changes the subject. "Um...Who wants to play volleyball?"

Later

On the large part of the beach near the Temple Steven and Lapis began to draw a line in the sand for the volleyball court. "Okay, everyone, the court is all set. Now to get into our teams." Before he could say anything else Pearl tells him. "But, Steven, won't our abilities give us an unfair advantage?"

"That's why I'm picking the teams," Steven said before picking the teams. "Soren, Amethyst, Pink Pearl, and Jenny! Anaya, Violet Pearl, Blue Pearl, and Kiki! Pearl, Yellow Pearl, Onyx, and Kofi! And last, but not least yours truly, me, Lapis, and Nanefua!"

When Steven finished the oldest of the Pizza family told the other teams. "I haven't played in ages but I bet I could whoop all your butts." After telling them, Anaya then realized. "Wait, Steven we have four players on our teams, but you have three. Isn't that an uneven match?"

"Don't worry, due to Lapis' water powers she'll be taking up as two players. Right, Lapis?" She nodded with a hum before summoning her water wings. "That's the spirit. Are you guys ready? Let's play!" For the game, the first to play was Anaya and Soren's team who were on the opposite sides of the net. "Oh-ho! Hope you're ready to lose!"

Amethyst taunted the other team before Anaya told them. "There is no way we'd lose to someone like you guys!" Soren then shouted. "Here comes the ball!" He then hits it in the air to the opposing team before Kiki hits the ball up. "Nice one, Kiki!" Violet told her
Kiki who then knocked the ball back.

"Aaand...Pow!" The opposing team tried to knock the ball back but missed. "Amethyst! No kicking!" Steven shouted seeing Amethyst skid on the sand towards the ball. "What kind of game is this?" She questioned before Anaya complimented. "Nicely done, Kiki!" They high-fived, which made Kiki laugh.

Steven then shouted. "Try and stick to the rules, everyone!" Nanefua then shouted to her Granddaughter. "Try harder, Jenny!" Kiki who's team got the ball back shouts. "Here it comes!" She then hits the ball back, which Jenny pulls on the net, making it wobble. "Come on, Jenny!"

"What? I'm not doing anything."

Her Twin innocently said as Amethyst shouted. "Our move!" She shapeshifted into a tennis racket which Soren and Pink Pearl grabbed before knocking the ball back. "Aw, yes!" Jenny cheered before Pearl shouted to them. "That was uncalled for!" Jenny then questions her Twin. "You afraid of getting a little sand in your hair, Kiki?" The said Sister began to wipe sand off her arm.

"No, just trying to keep tidy." After telling her Pearl told the others. "There's nothing wrong with trying to keep tidy." Nanefua then said happily. "So exciting!" Steven and Lapis agreed. "Yeah!" After that Kofi then told everyone. "Our turn."

Pearl, Yellow and Onyx smiled. "We're ready." Just as the ball was heading towards Jenny's team she announced. "I got this one." Kofi saw this and shouted. "Jennifer! You touch that ball, you're grounded!" She dodged the ball.

"Whoa! Daddy, you cheatin'!"

Kofi began to laugh. "Ha-Ha-Ha! The look on your face! Hahaha!" Pearl then told the two Gems. "I think this is going to be easy." While they began to play Nanefua told Steven and Lapis. "It'd be nice if they stuck to the basics," Amethyst announces. "Take this! Yeeeee-ha!" She hits the ball high up in the air which they all looked up at.

"I got this one!" Onyx shouted before jumping into the air, hitting the ball hard causing it to come down full speed at the opposing team. "We should probably move, huh?" The three agreed with Jenny before moving out of the way. "Hahaha! You're all running like wild chickens! Hahahaha!"

While Mr. Pizza laughed, the 4 looked at the now glassy material made from the sand which Nanefua told them. "Did you know that when sand is superheated it turns into glass?" Steven tells her. "I did not know that." Soren soon picked up the glass material by the ball and throws it into the ocean, shouting to the opposing team.

"Game on!" Soon a montage began, showing them play volleyball against one another, showing Jenny slide in the sand, grunting as she skid before showing Amethyst kicks the ball. "Amethyst!" Pearl shouted knowing she wasn't supposed to do that. Soon Pearl summoned five Holo-Pearls before running around three of her teammates saying along with the Holo-Pearls confusing the team. "Over here! Over here!"

It then began to show each of the teams knocking the ball back on the other side of the net taking their turns with Kofi shouting when he hit the ball. "Kofi Time!" Seeing where the ball will land Jenny Pizza began walking towards it. "Jenny time!" Before she could hit the ball. "You can't use the car for a month!" The shout made Jenny miss the ball and scream.

After that, they began to have a talk to the team. "Why you cheatin' so much?" Amethyst asked which Pearl told her. "Oh please. You were the ones that cheated first." Jenny disagreed. "That is not true." As they along with the other Gems, including Kiki, and Kofi continued to argue in the background, Steven, Lapis, and Nanefua watched.

"This is getting out of hand." Steven sighed. "I'll run and get the ball." While going to get it, Lapis looked at him and said with a small smile. "Stay safe Steven.' He nodded and continued towards the ball, before picking it up, a strong gust of wind blows it away. "Hey, why is it getting so...WINDY!?"

The culprit is revealed to be the Watermelon Tourmaline pufferfish which turns the corner blowing strong winds at him. "Ah, no! It's back! Pufferfish monster's back!" While he ran back, Nanefua and Lapis looked back, confused or startled. "What's all the-" Seeing what it is Steven runs past yelling.

As the three ran the others were still arguing. "We should win 'cause we're the best." Amethyst taunted before Kiki told them. "Y'all cheated!" Yellow Pearl agrees. "You're the ones lying." Onyx then shouts. "Cheaters!" Out of anger, Kofi yells at them. "Everyone is grounded here!" They were then interrupted by a scream causing them to stop with Pearl concerned.

"Steven, Lapis?" She then noticed the Corruption. "Oh, no! Gems! Protect the Pizza Family!" They nodded and grab the Pizzas and jumped away to safety away from the strong winds. "Hey!? What is going on!?" Shouted Kofi, who was oblivious to what was going on. "This is terrible. We were trying to get everyone together, but now everyone's in danger."

Lapis nodded in agreement before Nanefua told them fearlessly. "I'm not afraid of that thing! Let's see if you can keep up with me!" The two Gems looked at one another before Lapis shouted for her to hear. "Of course we can!" They soon began running towards the pufferfish.

"Oh! Oh! Over here!" Nanefua taunted causing the Corrupted to follow her along with Steven and Lapis who joined in shouting. "Over here! Come on!" While distracting the monster the others began seeing this with Pearl sounding surprised. "Oh my gosh! Steven!" Kiki then asked. "What are they doing?"

Lapis shouted to them. "Everybody! Get ready!" Kofi tells his Mother. "Mom, you are crazy!" Blue Pearl tells him. "Not crazy...Brave." Jenny then realized and shouted to her Grandmother. "Gunga! Careful with your back!" Steven then directed one of the Gems.

"Amethyst! Turn yourself into a ball!" She nodded. "Okay!" She then shapeshifts into a ball as Nanefua shouted. "Jenny! Roll Amethyst to the net and then hold on!" Jenny nodded. "Sure thing!" She then rolled Amethyst over while her Grandmother tells the Gems. "Soren, Pink Pearl! Head over to Jenny and Amethyst!"

"Yes!" "Got it!" They both said before running over to the net. "Both of you hit Amethyst into the air as hard as you can!" The two looked at Amethyst and picked her up. "Ready?" Pink asked which Amethyst hummed yes to before they both knocked her into the air.

Seeing this Nanefua yelled to her Son and Granddaughter. "Kofi! Kiki! Get over to the net!" Lapis shouts. "Pearl! Onyx! Yellow! Spike the beach!" Pearl tells her. "We understand!" They then jumped into the air towards Amethyst who asked. "Be gentle." Yellow Pearl then tells her.

"Don't worry about it!"

They hit Amethyst as hard as possible, causing the purple Gem to grunt as she deliberately sets aflame. When Amethyst landed on the sand, she created a huge spike of glass. "Here comes the tricky part!" Nanefua shouted which Steven nodded to. "We're ready!"

"Everyone take the net to the other side of the court!" The Elder Pizza told everyone as Lapis then said. "Okay, everyone, pull the net into its face!" They did so, pushing the net onto the Corruptions face, causing its back to be poked by the glassy spikes. "It's not enough!" Steven looked up and announced. "Don't worry, look!"

Everyone looked up and spotted Pearl, Yellow, Onyx coming down with their weapons drawn, pointing the points towards the Corruption as they hit it into the spiky glass causing it to explode into a cloud of sand which covered the bit of the beach. Once it cleared Kofi and his family looked at the Gems.

"Thanks for your hospitality." Kofi thanked them before Nanefua lightly punches his stomach. "And?" Kofi then told them. "And, for saving my family, you are all officially un-banned from my shop."

Steven smiled and told the Gems happily. "Aw, thank you so much, Kofi! We really appreciate it, right, guys?" Lapis and Steven looked at the Gems as Pearl said. "Okay, yes, thank you." Lapis then asked. "Aaaand?" None of them answered for a moment before Pink Pearl asked confused. "What were we banned from again?" This made Steven laugh nervously before the sound of a flash is heard.

"Huh?" Steven and the others looked before seeing a light coming from the roof, revealing someone had Wrapped into the Beach House, seeing this Lapis asked the Gems. "Did anyone tell Jewel, Peridot, and Garnet about the Barbecue?" They all shook their heads or said, "No" to her question.

Soon the door opened up revealing Garnet who came down the stairs before making it to the Gems who noticed her. "Garnet? What are you doing here?" When Pearl asked the Fusion Gem told them. "Jewel and Peridot wanted me to check to see if everything's alright." She then noticed the Corrupted Gem in Pearl's bubble and smiled before telling them.

"And from the looks of it, it is."

After telling them, she then looked back at the Beach House telling them. "I should go back and tell Jewel and Peridot that everything seems ok." Before she left Steven had an idea and stopped her. "Oh, wait, Garnet?" She stopped and looked back at him as he held Pearl's hand and asked. "Could you, fuse with Pearl into Sardonyx please?"

"Sure thing." Garnet smiled at the other, knowing he was going to ask that, which made Pearl smile too as they both went towards each other with the others watching as the two got close. "Ready?" Pearl asked which Garnet nodded to. "I'm ready."

The two then kissed causing their Gemstones to glow brightly as they both began to fuse together into the Fusion, Sardonyx who then appeared from the light as she said happily. "The lovely Sardonyx is back everyone!" Steven smiled at her as he laughed happily, which she noticed and said while sitting down on the sand.

The large red Fusion smiled and told him. "Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere until that bit of time is spent. What did you have in mind anyway?" She asked, but Steven didn't speak.
