Inside the Beach House, Steven and Lapis were inside the kitchen as Steven was near some empty cans of creamed corn as he said happily like he was in a show, entertaining Lapis as he spoke. "This is it, folks. Rookie sensation Steven Universe readies his last spoon full of Colonel Kernel's Classic Creamed Corn." He held the can up causing Lapis giggle from it as he continued.

"As the crowd waits with bated breath, one bite between him...And destiny."

Steven then ate what was left of the cream corn and puts the can on the counter. "And he's done it!" He shouted before turning around. "He's eaten almost more than a dozen cans of creamed corn!" The Temple Gate then opens, revealing the rest of the Crystal Gems walk out of it.

"Good afternoon, Steven." Pearl greeted him as he said happily. "Guys, check this out!" Amethyst shouts. "Stoo-man in the house!" Soren then asked. "Whatcha got guys?" Steven tells them. "I got empty cans of Colonel Kernel's Classic Creamed Corn!"

Anaya tells them with a small smile. "That sounds cool." The pink Gem then shows the other Gems the back of the can. "Yeah, and on the back are five dollar coupons for mini-golf. I ate enough cans for us to all go together." Lapis nodded before the Leader told them with a smile.

"That's so thoughtful..." Her smile began to fade a bit. "Unfortunately though, uhh..." She looked at her husband and Yellow. "We gotta go on a mission..." Onyx said as Yellow Pearl apologized. "Sorry guys."

Steven looked upset. "What? Not again!" He drops one of the cans and tells them. "But you guys promised we'd all hang out!" As they walk towards the Warp Pad Blue Pearl tells the duo. "A dangerous artifact has appeared in the Northern Hemisphere, we need to go retrieve it."

"But mini-golf is so much fun! There are castles and windmills, and I like it, and...Oh look, look what I brought!" He then went towards the table and began to pick up a stack of golf club hats, telling them happily. "I even got hats for all us to wear to go and play."

After he finished Violet Pearl apologized. "We're sorry Steven. We know golf is fun, but this is very important for us to do now. But don't worry will be back to go to golf together." She gave a small smile telling him that as the others waved or said bye to the two as Amethyst shouts. "See ya, dudes!"

"We'll try and bring you something back!" Jewel told them with Peridot nodding happily before they Warped away on their mission, which Steven sighs heavily and falls back. "Are you alright?" Lapis asked worriedly as he nodded. "Yeah...But at least they aren't the only ones with a dangerous adventure to tackle." Lapis nodded to him, giving a small smile.

Seconds Later

In their room, the two started to play a video game which Steven had gotten recently called, Mini Golf Quest. During the start of the game, Steven began to eat some chips along with Lapis before reading the subtitle. "Awww yeah! We've received the Mythril Putter!" He then emulates the game sound.

"Don't worry Professor. We're gonna sink 'em all!"

Lapis read the characters line out loud which made Steven chuckle as they continued to play. "Uh oh." Steven looked worried as their players encountered a Windmill enemy who had appeared. "Oh, windmill. Why must we always fight? Man, it would've been just like this!"

The Next Day

After hours of playing some Mini Golf Quest, the two had made it to the final boss of the game and managed to have defeated him as the final boss said, which Steven copied. "I can't lose! I am the greatest golfer in the Universssse!" The boss collapses onto the ground, making an explosion sound.

"Alright! Secret ending!"

Steven laughed saying that which Lapis smiled at before the Warp flashed, revealing the entire team with Pearl greeting. "We're baaaack!" Steven greets back, not taking his eyes off of the screen. "Hey."

"Project F.L.O.G! That's Golf spelled backwards." The character Ace announced as the Cryogenic capsule starts opening. "What is this?" Ace questioned looking at the capsule before Amethyst appeared in front of the two. "Hey, guys! Wanna know where we've been at?"

Lapis and Steven tried to see the screen as he told them. "Un-Oh! Wait! Wait, hold on!" Ace in the game looked at the date of the capsule. "June 9, 2014? But that was the date he disappeared!" As they tried to watch it Pearl told him. "Steven! Look at this." Ace keeps talking in the background as they talk to them.

"It's the Wailing Stone we found." Jewel corrects Soren. "The Wailing Stone, Mom found." The said Mom began to gesture towards the Wailing Stone. "Isn't it neat? It uses high-frequency sound waves as a message relay..."

Steven murmured. "Guuuys!" Pearl then finishes. "Between two fixed points!" Amethyst then points at the button on top of the device. "Look, you just have to push this!" Before her finger reaches it Lapis shouts. "Wait don't-!"

It was too late as she presses the top of the Wailing Stone, making it activate, interrupting Pearl and making the TV break before the ending could even finish. Pearl then pushes the button. "Amethyst, I told you not to turn it on the house!"

"Chill out Pearl, it's not like anyone of us got hurt, plus the house is still intact."

Amethyst agrees with Soren as Pink Pearl gave a nod. "Yeah and Steven LOVED IT! Steven?" They waited for an answer before Steven let out an outburst. "THAT WAS THE SECRET ENDING! Now we have to replay the final dungeon all over again! It's not fair! We can't go mini-golfing, Lapis and I can't play the game, and I'm all nauseous because I ate all that Creamed Corn, so much Corn..." He let out a sigh.

"I just wish we had a place for ourselves."

Suddenly Steven's gem started glowing, allowing him to lift up his shirt to reveal it. "Huh? My Gem!" Lapis and the others began to look at Steven before Rose's Symbol started glowing on the Temple Gate. "Rose's door?" Pearl said confused before Lapis told Steven. "Your gem's opening your mother's room!" After the door opens, Steven began to walk towards it in amazement.

"Woah!" He said before the Gems, minus Lapis warn Steven. "Wait!" Most of them shouted before Pearl told them. "Steven, Lapis, don't go in there!"

Steven looked back at them. "It's never about what we wanna do, is it? Well now we have a place where we're going and You Can't Come!" Anaya then asked. "What about us?" He looked over at the three he wasn't looking at before, giving a smile as he held out a hand.

"Sure!" After saying that, one of the three held his hand before following him into the room. As the door closes, the other Gems shouted worriedly. "STEVEN!" Before going the room closed.

Inside The Temple

"YES!" Lapis and Steven said happily as they, along with Violet and Blue Pearl, including Anaya were inside the room now. When the door shut it puffed into pink clouds, leaving them inside the room. "Woah. So this is my mom's room? She must've liked clouds a lot..."

The others agreed with him. "Yeah...That probably explains why there's no bed in here?" Violet Pearl said which Steven hums to. "Mmm-hm. What kind of room doesn't even have a bed?" Out of the clouds, a bed appears in front of them surprising them.

"Woah, cool!"

They began to examine the bed before Lapis confirmed. "Hm...It's real. The clouds must of made it on Steven's command." Steven smiled. "Neat! This bed is pretty nice. But you know what would be really nice? Quadruple-bunk beds!" The bed then turns into a quadruple bunk bed complex. After that Steven looked back at the three.

"Guys, want to come and enjoy this?" Anaya thought for a moment with both Pearl's before telling the two, giving a smile. "We're good Steven." The Pearl's nodded as Blue told them. "We'll just wait around here until you guys are done."

Steven smiled and told them. "Ok, see you until then." He and Lapis began to climb the quadruple-bunk beds to the top, as they did that Anaya, Blue and Violet watched them until they couldn't see them. "So what should we do while we wait?"

"Hmm...Will figure out something." Violet answered Blue Pearl before looking over at their Gf. "Right Anaya. Anaya?" She looked at her and noticed that she was looking away at something. "Is there something wrong?"

Blue Pearl questioned which Anaya answered as she squinted at what she was looking at. "No, not really. It's just that light over there. I can't tell if it's real or not?" They looked over and saw the light she was talking about too. "Should we go and see it?" For an answer Anaya nodded before walking towards it with the two following her.

Meanwhile

At the top of the beds Steven and Lapis looked down from the other side of it as Lapis said happily. "This is amazing Steven!" He agrees with her. "Yeah! But you know what would make it more amazing? A slide!" Suddenly a slide appears, which they both slide down together on before being launched into the air.

"Oh, and a parachute!" A parachute appears connecting to both of their arms as they flew down safely, laughing. "What next?" Steven began to hum. "Hmmm...Ummmm...Oh! A Tiny Floating Whale?" The said pink whale appears, making a whale sound, which the two giggled at.

When finished Steven said with a grin. "Here we can get anything we ask for! But you know what I really want? ...I wanna see the end of our game, without being interrupted!" After telling her, Golf Quest Mini pops in front of them, which they high-five each other, including the whale. In the game, the pod opens up, revealing what looked to be the Father of the hero himself.

"It's me, your father! After decades of cryostation, I'm finally free!"

Ace then said with a smile. "Saving the day is just par for the course." Both Gems cheered. "Awesome!" Steven then yawns. "Hm...I'm kinda hungry now." "Me too." Lapis told him as a donut appears for them. Seeing this Steven began to laugh. "Alright! To us?" Lapis nodded.

"To us." They then prepared to take a bite out of the donut which puffs into clouds when they tried to eat it, leaving them surprised. "What? Hey! We want a real donut!" Another donut appears, which they tried to eat, only for it to puff into clouds again. "What?! Can you believe this?"

The Tiny Floating Whale makes whale sounds again as Lapis tells him. "Yeah, what gives?" After questioning that, Steven then sighed. "I don't know? I guess now we have to go out for donuts." The blue Gem nodded as they began to head over to where Anaya, Blue and Violet were.

"Hey where did they go?"

Steven questioned as they looked around for the three, seeing nothing but what looked to be the door leading back to the Beach House. "I guess they went back to the Beach House, or something?" Lapis said as both her and Steven "leave" Rose's Room.

Meanwhile

Inside Rose's Room the three Gems were reaching the light they saw, once they made it they soon saw what it was. "Wait, isn't that?" As the glow faded it's than revealed to be a familiar door. "The Temple Door?" Anaya said confused. "We were right where it closed up at, how's it here?"

"Maybe it's not the same door?" Blue said with a shrug as they looked back at before heading to it, letting the door open itself up, revealing the Beach House. Once inside they began to look around, seeing that everything seems normal as it's supposed to be.

As they entered Violet tells the two. "Guys, I don't think this is the same Beach House?" They looked back at her. "What makes you say that Violet?" She then points towards the window. "I don't remmeber the sky being that pink." They looked at the windows and saw that she was right, the clouds and sky were all pink, the rest was barely visible to see.

"Do you think Steven and Lapis came through here?" Anaya questioned before a familiar voice to some of them rang out. "They have not. But they are still here somewhere in this world." The three looked a bit panicked as they looked around for the source of the sound.

A giggle was then heard. "There is nothing to worry about, it is just me. Up here." They looked up at the direction of the voice, revealing to be the Rose painting image, which began to move, coming off the wall before floating towards them as Anaya asked. "Is that you, Rose Quartz?" The painting nodded. "I am her, but just as a painting. I've been waiting to talk to you Anaya." She began to give a warm smile to the Gem who seems surprised.

Meanwhile

"Don't get excited, guys. We're only back for a second." Steven said before Lapis told him. "Steven nobodies here." He then looks around and notices that they aren't, like Lapis said as he told her. "Well, good! I didn't want to see them now anyway." After telling her she nodded as they began to leave the Beach House.

Later

Over at the Big Donut, the two Gems began to head inside the said Donut shop as Steven greeted. "Hey! How's our favorite fine foods franchise? So I'm thinking... Double chocolate cinnamon twist with sprinkles on the side. You know we like to dip." They then noticed Sadie and Lars looked bit off, both looking and smiling, not saying anything.

"Uhhh...Steven to Sadie and Lars! Is this like a joke or something?"

When he questioned the two, Sadie and Lars then began to answer at the same time. "Hello, Steven. What kinda donut would you like?" This confused the two as Lapis told them. "Uhh, Steven just said-?"

"It's very nice to see you two!" This just made them feel a bit uncomfortable. "Well, it's very nice to see you, too!" Steven said, trying to keep up a smile as the two donut workers tells them. "Here's your order!" The two looked at the donut bag as Steven noticed it was more than just one donut or two and tells them. "Wait, you guys. We only ordered-"

Sadie and Lars then tells them. "Okay, we love you! Bye bye, now!" Once finished the two then began to go to the back of the store. "Wait! where are you guys going? We still haven't paid for these!" Lapis told them as they followed the two workers to the back.

"You guys, hold on a...Sec?" They then stopped. Looking around before seeing that Sadie and Lars are nowhere to be seen. "Ok, this is starting to become odd." After telling Steven who was about to agree before they saw someone at the street light, who was Onion, standing there, looking, well, like how he always looks.

Seeing this, Lapis then said. "Maybe not?" She and Steven then began to head over to Onion who just stared at them as the young male Gem greeted. "Hey, Onion!" He then questions. "Have you seen Lars and Sadie? They should have just been out here! Hey, if you see them, let me know. Okay?" Onion just looked at them before Steven took out a donut.

"Here, have a donut." He pokes Onion with the donut, but he doesn't move, just stares. "I'll leave it here for you." He puts the donut on Onion's head. "See you later!"

After that he and Lapis continued their way to go and find Lars and Sadie to pay for the donuts they were given, while searching they began to pass by Beach Citywalk Fries without noticing Frybo inside, the costume that they've destroyed from the past. "All the lights are on. But no one is here..."

"Yeah, where is everyone?"

Lapis asked before the two stopped, they then walked back and looked inside the building, seeing Frybo. "Peedee?" Steven said as Frybo puts fry bits on the counter.

"Oh, fry bits. Usually I'm all about the bits. But I'm pretty sure we're feeling kinda spooked right now." Frybo doesn't reply back and keeps putting fry bits plates in the same place. "Uh, you know what? I think we're gonna look around some more. See you later, Frybo!"

The two continued to keep walking around Beach City and look around now, as they made it to the Beach City Funland, the two ceased their walking and looked at the front of the arcade until the lights and games are turned on, shocking the both of them as they ran away from the area. As they did they soon began to run past some of the people in Beach City, seeing them do nothing, looking weird.

"What's wrong with your faces? Lion, you too?!" Steven said while he and Lapis looked at Lion, doing nothing, looking the same as the others before running off, soon finding themselves right about the water of the ocean as Steven looked at Lapis who noticed and told him, almost frightened. "I'm not keeping us up from the water."

When Lapis told Steven he began to look around before shouting. "Can someone please explain THIS?!" They then felt their feet sinking in. "Huh!" The two then sunk into the water before somehow appearing at, It's a Wash. As they look around the two then saw a figure. "AAH!"

"Steven! Lapis!" The figure spoke letting them get a better look before seeing who it was. "Dad? Is that you?" The said father smiled and nodded. "What? Of course! You two doing alright? You look like you saw a ghost. Either that, or you stayed up all night playing a video game."

Steven then tells him. "Dad, we're freaking out! It feels like we're stuck inside of some crazy dream." Greg then calms his son. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Why don't we share some of those donuts and you can tell me about this crazy night you're having?" He asked which they looked at the donut bag.

Meanwhile

"You've...Been waiting for me?" Anaya asked the floating painting of Rose who nodded to her as she looked at Blue and Violet before asking curiously. "But why?" Rose Quartz gave a giggle before telling her. "I always wanted to tell you something important, involving you and Blue Diamond."

Hearing the name of the Diamond herself, Anaya began to have a surprise look and a blush appear on her face as she then asked, beginning to give a smile. "Really?" The Quartz nodded to her as she then said. "I'll listen to what you have to say." Anaya smiled, telling the painting who then tells her.

"I knew you were going to say that." After telling her she then explained. "The importance of me telling you that is because both you and Blue Diamond have a very strong connection to one another." Both Pearl's seemed surprised as Anaya seemed excited. "She does?" "I do?!"

They questioned which the Rose painting answered. "Yes. Ever since you were in that incident a few months back at the barn and were healed by Jewel herself, your wishes to find and meet the Diamond herself has awoken the will and strength of a Gem within you. Making you become the Gem that you are today."

"Whoa...Are those the things that Blue Diamond has...Except the Gem part?" The Painting gave a nod to her. "You're almost like Blue Diamond. You never give up and you always stay strong." Anaya kept her grin as she then asked. "Do you think I have a chance to ever meet her?"

The painting of Rose Quartz tells her. "Only time will tell. But if you keep yourself going with your friends by your side, you surely will." Anaya screamed from within her, now happy that her dreams will come true some day. After that, she then told the painting.

"Thank you Rose."

After telling her she then remembered Steven and Lapis and asked. "Wait, we need a little help. Do you know where Steven and Lapis could be at? Did they go back into the Beach House?" The painting shook her head before telling them. "I'm sorry, they didn't leave the room. But I can open a path that leads to them if you would like."

"Sure. That would be nice." After telling her the painting began to turn into a portal leading to what looked to be the It's A Wash, allowing them to go through. "Thanks again." The portal in Rose's voice spoke as they went through. "You're welcome."

Minutes Earlier

On top of Greg's Van he along with Steven and Lapis were sitting at the edge of the back of it, beginning to eat a donut, while eating Steven began to tell his Dad. "The Gems were trying to tell us something about Mom's Room. But we were so mad that we didn't even listen. They're always leaving one of us behind, and...I guess we wanted to do it to them, too."

"That's honestly not so bad. Everyone needs some alone time now and then. Right?" Greg then plays an air guitar, causing Steven to laugh along with Lapis who then said. "It was really fun for a while. But now, the whole city...Everyone and everything is acting really weird around us, like they aren't even alive..."

"Well the important thing is you both told the truth." This brought little suspicion to the two. "Yeah, I...guess we did." Greg then plays an air guitar again. Noticing that he had already done that Steven pointed out. "Uh, Dad? Your advice is making less sense than usual." Greg then said, now bringing full suspicion to the two Gems. "Well the important thing is family and friendship, honesty values, and no one got arrested.

Greg then plays an air guitar again. "Something is very off now." Steven nodded before telling her. "But we need to make sure." He then looks down at the donut in his hand and tries to eat it, but it puffs into clouds again, making him scream. "AAH! We're still in the room! All of this-it's all a FAKE-A-ROO!" His Dad plays an air guitar again then disappears.

"Steven! Lapis!"

They looked and saw Violet, Anaya, Blue running towards them as they greeted back. "Guys!" Suddenly the van vanished as well, causing them to fall but luckily land on their feet as Lapis shouted. "We need to get out of here!" Before the three could ask why, parts around and the Wash itself began to vanish.

"AAAAH!" Steven screamed after giving a gasp as they began to run from the Wash or what was becoming left of it as while they ran Anaya shouted. "This is all wrong in many levels!" As they ran the city then started to vanish as well. "We're going to run out of foot room if the ground keeps vanishing like that!"

They looked around trying to find a way out of it before Lapis shouted. "Everyone up the hill above the Temple! Now!" They did what she said and began to head up. Once at the top they looked down and began watching as everyone and everything disappears before the rest of the ground they were on vanished, causing some of them gasp and then fall in the void.

"UUH! AAAAAAAAH! I don't want this! None of us do!" After shouting that a familiar Tiny Floating Whale appeared and asked sounding like Rose. "What do you all want?" Steven looked back at his Gf and the three before shouting. "We want to be back with the rest of the Gems!"

As he shouted that the Whale then disappears, causing Steven to hug Lapis close as Anaya did the same with both of her Pearl's waiting for whatever will come up now before a flash of light began to blind them a bit before a pair of hands grabbed and pulled them in.

Inside The Beach House

On the other side the 5 were soon able to see who it was that pulled them in, causing Steven gasp and shout happily. "GARNET!" Out of curiosity he bites Garnet's arm. "Ow." She barely felt pain from that as Steven gasped. "You're not clouds!"

"Alright, Steven!" Amethyst then goes ahead and bites Pearl's arm. "AGHUUHH!" She was disgusted by that, which caused Amethyst to let go and laugh, with Pink Pearl and Soren joining in the laugh. "Guys, it was awful! We were trapped in a messed up version of Beach City. Everyone was acting super weird and..."

Before he finished Onyx asked confused. "Rose's room built the whole town?" Pearl glared at Amethyst and the two, making them cease their laughter. "It Can't Handle A Task Like That!" She then went over and hugged Steven. "Thank goodness you're okay! You too Gems." She said to Anaya, Blue Pearl, Violet Pearl, and Lapis.

"I'm sorry we got mad, guys and took Anaya, Blue, and Violet with us. We get it now. Things can't always go exactly how we want it." Pearl then apologizes. "Oh Steven, we're sorry, too."

The others began to agree and apologize as well before Pearl told the two with a smile. "But guess what? We have time to hang out, now." Steven lets out a gasps and looks at Lapis, the both of them having sparkles in their eyes knowing what that means.

Mini Golf Course

"We always get what we want!" Steven shouted happily as they watched Onyx lightly tap a gray colored golf ball into the hole, earning a cheer and some claps from the group that watched.
