Hey guys, long time no see. God, it has been over a year since I last uploaded a chapter. Let's just say that my life has been through a lot. Since I last uploaded, I graduated from my previous college, and I am attend a new college now. (my first time at an away college too). I have also been looking for film internships/jobs. I am currently home for summer vacation, so I got some time. I want to get back to working on my Star Wars Story, in addition to new ones (I already have a Ratchet and Clank OC story in the works too. I want to get it started this summer.)
Now, about "The Outcast's Apprentice"... I am currently working on the next chapter (as I have been since I last uploaded), but there is something that I want to do first. I have been looking at the opening two chapters of my story, and I could honestly say, they suck. Like it really sucks. It is just so cookie cutter and un-engaging. In the original opening, Jaden is just picked up by the Ghost Crew and that's it. No dramatic tension, no opening action, nothing.
I've taken a screenwriting class in college, and I have learned a thing or two about starting a story, and I feel like I could do a better job with the opening, so I am re-typing it. I want to make the story's opening interesting and compelling. Plus, the reader needs to be hooked by the opening to want to continue the story as a whole. The progress is going slowly, but I intend to see it through. Once again I am sorry for the long wait between chapters... I'll be getting back to work on my story and I hope you readers will still be there.
