A/N: It's another celebration chapter... bur it's a very rare celebration... See whenever an ongoing story gets a certain number of hits I update in celebration... If it's compete, even if it has a sequel I won't celebrate. However today is an expectation... as during my ORAS break Monkey D. Haru and Philosophers Stone hit 100,000 hits! My 4th story to do so. What's even more impressive is that it's the only that's not only complete but also has less than 20 chapters (well actually far more... but I'd rather to say the real number is)... this is a big deal for me! So of course I updated it's currently ongoing sequel! So enjoy the new chapter!
Chapter 11: The Fourth Champion
Haru walked into the room, Cedric was surprised to see him, the other two just stared at him.
"Do they want us for something?" asked Fleur.
"About that." Said Haru.
That was when the Headmasters of all three schools, the officials of the tournament some of the teachers, as well as Haru's parents and Sirius followed him into the room.
"I'm sorry to say that Mr. Monkey is a fourth Champion." Sighed Dumbledore.
"What?" asked Fleur, "But he is just a child."
"You don't know what I can do, so I'll let it pass." Said Haru.
Pro. Dumbledore looked at Haru, "Did you put your name into the Goblet?"
"If memory serves you laved that age line with Sea Stone so I couldn't put my name in." said Haru.
"Plus it's a stupid question since he doesn't go by Harry Potter." Said Luffy.
Pro. Dumbledore sighed, he should have known.
"How could you have a second champion, it against the rules." Muttered Madame Olympe.
"I'm faired Mr. Potter can't quit." Sighed Barty Crouch, "HE entered a magical contract, even if he didn't' enter himself."
Barty Crouch was concerned that well… Haru's parents and Sirius weren't that cornered.
"If it's a magical contact it might take away his magic right?" asked Hancock, "So I guess Haru has to participate then."
"All right!" cheered Haru.
"Trust me." Said Pro. Dumbledore, "I would rather not have Haru participate… I was hoping for a quiet year for him this year."
Fleur and Viktor stared at Haru as he began to boo.
"Is he like that a lot?" asked Fleur.
"Yes." Answered Cedric.
"Wait then how was Haru even able to enter?" asked Sirius, "I mean it was meant for three students."
"Possibly a powerful Confundus Charm to make it think that there four students instead." Said Pro. Dumbledore.
The other adults in the room figured that it might be the case…
"And Mr. Monkey wouldn't have that skill." Said Pro. McGonagall.
"What's a Confuses Charm again?" asked Haru.
The teachers groaned. However there was still one question remaining.
"I bet someone is trying to kill him." Said Pro. Moody, "I belie we should blame Karkaroff."
The headmaster glared at the former Auror.
"We shouldn't be playing the blame game." Said Hancock.
"Yeah… we should worry about Haru's safety." Said Sirius while trying to keep a straight face.
However couldn't keep it for long, as he and Luffy suddenly burst out laughing.
"Sorry… after everything I've seen over the summer, whatever planned for the tournament is nothing." Said Sirius.
"Now…" said Pro. Dumbledore, "I believe some rules should be in place. First Haru you can't use your Devil Fruit powers unless you absolutely have to."
"Oh come on!" said Haru.
"Haru, you have an unfair advantage." Said Hancock.
"Fine." Pouted Haru.
"You maybe Haki, but please don't over use it." Said Pro. Dumbledore.
Haru nodded.
"Also during the second task you may use items from the Thousand Sunny instead of magic just in case. I'll explain when it comes." Said Pro. Dumbledore.
"Okay." Said Haru confused by the one.
"Now." Said Barty Crouch to the four champions, "The first Task will be held on November 24th, the task will not be revealed to any of you until then. In fact it is forbidden to tell them."
"Like anyone is going to follow that rule." Sirius whispered Hancock and Luffy.
"Okay? Can I go now… I think I should go talk to my friends about this." Said Haru.
"Wait I wasn't done explaining." Said Barty, "Once you finish the first task, you will be given hints about the 2nd Task."
"Okay… now can I go… I have the feeling that this going to get out of hand." Said Haru.
"Haru, also you should know you're exempt from exams this year." Said Pro. Dumbledore.
"Really! This just keeps getting better and better." Laughed Haru, "But I think some of my friends will think I did it on purpose."
"Don't worry Haru, I'm sure some people will you had nothing to do with it." Assured Cedric.
"Thanks man." Said Haru, "Anyways can I go now?"
"Fine…" muttered Barty Crouch messaging a headache he developing.
Haru created a portal and left in it.
Fleur couldn't help but to gape.
"I thought those were rumors…" said Fleur.
"No… they're real." Said Viktor.
"At least he's going to be holding back." Said Cedric, "I don't know if we're going to win…"
Fleur and Viktor slowly turned to Cedric.
Meanwhile Haru got to the Gryffindor Common Room where everyone was celebrating.
"You guys are celebrating?" asked Haru.
"Of course!" said Ginny.
"Besides no thinks you entered on your own." Said Kaien.
"Really?" asked Haru.
"That's right." Said Hina, "Although, mostly because whatever it took to enter you don't have the smarts to it…"
"Oh come on!" yelled Haru.
"Ron's upset though." Said Hermoine.
"Why?" asked Haru.
"He's jealous." Said Ginny.
"He thinks that you entered on purpose." Said Hina, "Oh rather he's pretending you di it on purpose…"
"I'm going to talk to him." Sid Haru, he took several butter beers that were there as well as some food they managed to bring in and disappear into a portal.
"Does anyone else feel sorry for the other champions?" asked Angelina.
"I do." Responded Katie.
"I'm going to give Ron a week." Said Hina.
"What?" asked Hermoine.
"One week if he doesn't admit he wrong then I will do the chamber of forgiveness on him and Haru." Said Hina.
Both Maya and Kaien began to freak out.
"Can you cover me?" asked Kaien.
"I'll try." Said Maya.
"Try to warn him… I dare you." Laughed Hina hearing this, "Ron might not believe you… "
Kaien ran as fast he could.
"The Chamber of Forgiveness?" asked Hermoine.
"You don't want to know." Said Maya.
In the boy's dorm Ron laid on the bed, he saw that Haru came in.
"Hey I wanted to talk about the whole thing with the tournament." Said Haru.
Ron was quiet then Haru started jabbing him with a butter beer bottle.
"Come on… talk to me." Said Haru.
"You could have told you were going to enter." Said Ron.
"I didn't enter myself. And if I did I would have told everyone!" said Haru.
Ron tried to respond.
"What about glory." Said Ron.
"I don't care about glory." Said Haru.
"What about the prize money?" asked Ron.
"Hey… you're right…" said Haru, "That is unfair…"
"What…" said Ron.
"Oh I know! Tomorrow morning I'll announce to everyone that if I win I give the prize money to the runner up." Said Haru.
Ron was about to say something but realized, Haru was being honest.
His family had a treasure room and then there was the money that came from his birth parents.
Ron sighed.
"Look… I'm doing the tournament for fun… I don't know what it's going to be but I can't wait for it!" he said with a big smile.
Ron couldn't help but to laugh.
He just couldn't stay mad at Haru. Maybe it was his attitude, maybe it was the fact that deep down he knew Haru didn't do it, maybe it was because he knew Haru didn't care about fame, glory or money.
He grabbed the butter beer that Haru was jabbing him with, and the two clicked bottles.
"Good luck." Said Ron.
"I don't need it." Haru said with a grin.
That was when Kaien barged into the room.
"You two better make up! Hina will do the Chamber of Forgiveness if you two don't patch things up." Said Kaien.
"Don't worry we did." Sid Ron.
Haru sighed in relief, "I'm so glad you did take my apology…" he said, "I'd rather not have to face that again…"
Ron looked at Haru, wondering what the Chamber of Forgiveness was.
The next morning, Haru ate breakfast and waited for the Great Hall was full. Once he was sure every student was in, he made his announcement, he took out a megaphone and used it make his announcement.
"I know everyone thinks I entered myself in." said Haru, "Well the truth is I didn't…"
The whole great hall was silent.
"I'm just doing to for fun… and something about a magical contract but mostly fun." Said Haru.
He heard a few snickers in the hall.
"That's why if I win… I will give all of the prize money to runner up." Said Haru.
The members of the other schools were quiet, they weren't expecting that.
"I don't need that money, I just want to beat up as many monsters as I can, I hope you don't mind…" called out Haru.
Clapping started from the Hufflepuff table, he saw it was Yosopp, Cedric and Justin, it soon spread to the other tables, everyone from Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw were all applauding, even a few from Slytherin.
During the day he managed to talk to Tom, Nojiko and Yosopp.
"Me, Cedric and Justin tried to convince everyone that you didn't do it." Said Yosopp, "We won a few people over but it wasn't until your speech that I think they started really believing us."
"Us and Luna tried the same thing but well…" said Nojiko.
"Well what…" said Haru.
"Most people realized that there had to be powerful magic involved to make it so that the Goblet takes more than three people." Said Tom.
"And frankly, everyone knows you're an idiot." Said Nojiko.
"Yeah…" laughed Haru.
"Really the only ones that don't like you are the Slytherins…" said Tom.
"And that was already a given." Said Nojiko.
"So everyone in school is on my side?" asked Haru.
"All those that can't." Said Nojiko with a shrug.
"All right!" cheered Haru, "Tri-wizard Tournament here I come!"
"It's towards the end of the month." Said Nojiko.
"Oh… right…" said Haru.
However Haru discovered his hardships weren't over yet, even if he was able to patching things up with Ron and the part of the school wasn't Slytherin, things were still going to happen… in a form he didn't expect.
Next Time: Haru gets interviewed for the newspaper, however the reporter is notorious for stretching the truth. Will something will let her spin the stogy or will something else happen? Find out next time
