In his Dream
Izuku opened his eyes and gasped. "No..." He looks around, realizing he was back at U.A. high again. "No, no!" What was scaring Izuku and making him say no is that there were now corpses around the school, suddenly he's given close-up views of them, sending chills down his spine. The bodies were torn up, rotten, and left beyond recognition, caked in blood, bones visible from the ravaged flesh, all over the place. "N-Not this again!" Said Izuku in fear, shaking as he back away from the carcasses in front of him.
"What's going on?" He asked until he hears a familiar sound. "R...Ribbit..." It was weak but it was easy for Midoriya to know who it was. "Asui? Asui?!" Izuku shouted, running towards the sound of Tsu's croaks, passing more bodies, unable to take his eyes off of them. He sees one missing both eyes, one with the jaw seemingly ripped off, and another with their face caved in. "Why am I seeing this?!" Izuku thought, shaking it off until he made it to Class 1-A, unlike before he actually sees Tsuyu in her hero costume fighting off the silhouette of the figure again, the same one from his previous nightmare, this time he could see a sinister smirk.
"No..." That was all he could say in shock until Tsuyu was tossed at him again by the villainous figure, just like the last nightmare he catches her but they hit the wall behind. Standing back up Izuku looks at Tsu who looks back at him and spoke. "Ribbit, I love you Deku." She turns and charges at the figure, to which Midoriya tries to stop her. "Nooooo!" Tears pour from his eyes. "Asui Don't!" He gets to her and tries to get her out of the way again, but it was too late, the figure reached with both hands and touches both Izuku and Tsuyu's faces, making them turn to ash.
Out of his Dream
Opening his eyes with a gasp for a breath of air, Izuku began panting heavily. "Huh?" He looks around, noticing he was back in his bedroom. "Oh good," He sighs in relief. "Just another nightmare..." He thought until he hears a couple of croaks and snores. "Ribbit...Ribbit" Looking down and sees Tsu sleeping with her head on his chest still and thought. "Asui." With a smile, he hugs her tightly and kisses her head. This made her open one eye halfway to see what's going on, she wasn't fully awake and couldn't really see anything since it's dark. "R-Ribbit?" She croaked. Midoriya gently lowers her head on the pillow and kisses her head again.
"Sorry, Froppy. I...Just need to use the bathroom." She nodded slowly and went back to sleep, giving off croaks and snores again, making Izuku chuckle. "She's too cute." He thought and gently gets out of the bed, putting on one of his shirts, and slowly walks out of the bedroom quietly as possible. Once out, he walks over to the living room, sits on the couch, and sighs. He lied about going to the bathroom, the truth is he needed to clear his mind after having the same yet more grisly nightmare again.
"How do I make it stop?" Izuku asked himself, giving out another sigh, thinking of that horrible dream he had of losing Tsuyu. He really hopes it doesn't happen, he doesn't want to lose the girl he knows and loves. He'll do anything to protect her with his life, but he really needed to get this feeling of this nightmare out of his thoughts. He grabs his laptop that was on the coffee table, opens it, and turns it on, he noticed it was 1 AM. "I haven't even slept that much?!" He thought wide-eyed before letting out a sigh. "Great..." He brings his attention to the laptop and clicks one of his favorite videos, making it start playing.
"Look! He's got more!" A man behind the camera shouted, then All Might appears, appearing near a bus carrying injured people. "Hahaha! Fear, not citizens! Hope has arrived! Because I Am Here!" He exclaimed with his iconic grin. This made Deku smile before looking at his hand. "Thank you All Might, but...Why am I getting these nightmares now?" He thought. A memory flashed in his mind of him save Tsuyu from Shigaraki, throwing the punch that didn't break his bones. "Why does One For All activate whenever I see Asui in danger?" He makes a fist. "Whatever it is, I need to tell him soon..." While thinking he didn't notice Asui who had woken up seconds ago.
She walks towards him as he keeps looking through the videos until she croaked. "Ribbit?" This sound made Midoriya jump. "AHHHHH!" He shouted, looking back at her before stopping. "Asui?" He raised a brow, barely able to tell it's her since it's dark. Turning on the lamp next to him, he sees it was Tsuyu. She's half asleep and looking right at him, making him sigh in relief. "You scared me," He chuckles a little. "But you shouldn't be up, you need rest." He stands up and holds her in his arms but she looks directly at his laptop. Curious at what he's looking at she tilts her head. "Ribbit?"
This made Izuku smile, he understands what she's curious about. Plus sometimes when Tsu's really sleepy she'll only croak. "Oh, I was just looking at a video of All Might...Wanna see?" He asked, sitting down while Asui sits next to him as he puts up a video, showing All Might saving people. "Sometimes I watch this...Well...Almost every da-" He's cut off by her. "Ribbit...Deku...Why aren't you in bed?" She asked with a yawn. "What's wrong?" She knows something's wrong because whenever there is something wrong Izuku always wakes up in the middle of the night. Plus she can't sleep without him, it's more comfortable when she's in his arms.
He's surprised by this and sighs looking at his laptop. "I...I had another nightmare, the same one actually..." Sadness was in his tone, making Tsu gasp, now fully awake. "I...I saw you there again...B-But again you...You were going to attack the villain and..." He looks away in tears. He couldn't say it, earning him a hug from Tsuyu, getting him to hug her back while she comforts him. "Deku, it's ok, remember what I said?" She tightens her hug a bit. "I'm real...The nightmare isn't real...It's ok." She kissing his cheek, letting him cry on her shoulder.
"I'm sorry." He apologized, confusing Asui. "For what? Ribbit." She asked as Deku pulled away, looking at her in tears. "For not being strong enough to protect you at the USJ." He explained. "Using One For All makes me useless if it keeps breaking my body. I...I can't even protect you out there. O-Only if I was strong enough I...I wouldn't have these nightmares of losing you, I'm...I'm a weakling..." He sobs a little, shocking Tsuyu. She had no idea Izuku felt that way, but it hurts her seeing him like this.
She gently holds his cheeks with her large hands. "Deku," She began. "You're not a weakling. You're stronger than you think, and you've always been there for me," She tilts her head. "Don't you remember at the USJ? You protected me several times," Then a flashback shows him punching the Nomu. "You even used One For All on that Nomu without breaking any bones to save me." This made Izuku gasp. He had completely forgotten that he used a One For All Smash on that Anti-Symbol of Peace without any injures. He looks at the hand he punched with, giving a smile. "I-I remember..." He then looks at Tsuyu, his smile fading.
"B-But if it weren't for All Might...I...I would've lost you." Midoriya was about to cry, only to let out a yelp when Asui brought him into a kiss, shocking him. In seconds he returns one too, holding her body close to him. In a minute, they pulled away, catching a breath of air. "Honey, don't say that," Asked Tsuyu. "No matter what happens, even if we're separated from one another, you won't lose me," She assured him. "I'm not going anywhere. Ribbit." She smiles at Izuku who brought his smile back slowly while placing a hand on her cheek. "Thank you Froppy, I promise you, I'll make this Quirk as my own." He declared, making Tsu giggled.
"Ribbit-Ribbit." She snuggles in his hand, earning a chuckle from Deku. It isn't long until she noticed something on the laptop. "What's that?" She asked holding his laptop on her lap. "Oh," He looks at the screen. "It's videos of All Might over the years of saving-" Tsuyu cuts him off. "Ribbit, no, not that," She clicks the top corner of the screen. "I mean this." It opens showing a dance video making Izuku gasp with redness appearing on his cheeks. "Oh! It's nothing!" He tries to cover the screen with his hands. Y-Yeah! Just some p-power moves I wanted to try and..."
He stops, noticing how Tsuyu's looking at him with her finger on her cheek. "I...uhh," He scratched the back of his head. "Go ahead, hehe..." Midoriya chuckled nervously. "That kinda fell apart on you didn't it?" Asked Tsuyu smiling making Izuku sigh. "A little...But you're just adorable," He blushed and looked away. "I can't lie to you." Tsu let out a croak and blushed too. She looks at the laptop, confused by it, and looks back at him. "Uhh...Deku? Why did you want to learn dance moves?" She asks curiously.
Izuku looks at her tensely before letting out a sigh, getting up and on his knees in front of Tsuyu, taking the laptop away from her and putting it aside, he holds her hands in his, making her face turn a rosy red, he was so close to her legs since she's still seated on the couch. "I-I was going to ask you for a dance," She was surprised as he continues. "I was going to ask after our rescue training but with what happened at the USJ..." He looks at her as he slowly putting his head to hers, his face turning red too. "And since you were so tired, I decided not to-" She cuts him off immediately. "I want to dance with you, ribbit!" Tsuyu finished fast with a smile, causing Izuku to stare at her for few seconds.
"W-Wha?" He said surprised. "What did you say?" He asked in total shock, wanting to make sure he heard her right. "I want to dance with you." She repeated with a giggle, standing up and grabbing Izuku's hand. "Huh?" He stands up and follows her over to the middle of their living room. When they stopped, Tsuyu turns and uses her tongue to flick the light switch to turn on the lights so they can see better. "W-Wait Asui, no, we don't have to, I really don't want you missing out on your sleep, I'm worried about you." Said Izuku worriedly.
"Deku, in case you forgot I've already gotten enough sleep." She pointed out. "I slept for nearly 3 hours at the U.A. nurse office and a few hours here at home, so I'll be ok," She assured him. "Don't worry, I just want to dance with my boyfriend." Tsu flashes a cute smile with her tongue sticking out, making Deku chuckle and nod. "Alright, but let me put some music on." He walks over to the laptop and scrolls through the app for good music. Once he found it he lowered the volume enough for them to hear only. It was romantic music, which made Tsuyu blush hearing it, as Izuku walks over to her they look at each other blushing, they were both honestly a bit shy, well Midoriya's shyer than her.
They slowly hold each other's hand while Izuku wraps his left arm around Tsuyu's hips making her croak with a blush. "R-Ready?" He asked, feeling her body close to his as she could feel his body close hers with her breast pressing against his chest a little, she nodded, wrapping her right arm around his back, feeling his muscles, looking at him. "Ribbit...Y-Yes." Answered Tsu, smiling at Deku as they started to dance to the melody. Keeping eye contact they kept a grip on each other's hand and started stepping left and right gently for their slow dance. Through the slow dance, they started to spin around a bit in the center together, keeping balance and staring into each other's eyes as they did so.
Doing this made them blush. "She's so beautiful." Thought Midoriya who then noticed Asui resting her head on his chest as she tells him to break their silence during the music. "This is my first dance, I...I never had anyone dance with me before..." She admitted. "Even at my Junior High Prom, I didn't dance with anyone." Tsuyu's face expressed sadness, she felt Izuku stopped moving, confusing her. "Ribbit?" She looks up at him and noticed the shocked look on his face. "Asui..." He began "W-Why didn't you tell me this before?" He asked holding her closer to him.
"Oh no, don't worry about it," Tsu assured him with a smile. "I actually didn't want to go to prom since I preferred visiting you on the beach while you trained with All Might." She snuggles close to him, as they continue their slow dancing. While doing another mild twirl, Deku looks down at her. "Still...I would've gone to the prom with you, I would even skip one day of training for you..." They stood silent for a moment until he spoke. "You know what?" She looks up at him. "Ribbit?" He tells her. "I'm taking you out on a date tomorrow. Not just on any date, I mean we could go to a restaurant, I could wear a suit and you can wear a dress." Deku smiled at Asui but notice she's looking right at him with a shocked expression on her face.
"Ribbit?" Tsuyu croaks with a blush making Izuku yelp, realizing he might of went too far. "Oh, I'm sorry! I mean...What I meant to say, we could go to the beach! Yeah an-" He's cut off by her. "Deku!" Pausing from his sentence as Tsuyu holds his hands in hers. "Deku...Calm down, I...Actually was surprised since..." She blushes, looking away before looking back at him. "Since it would be our first time going on a date together." She then smiles with her tongue sticking out a bit. "But yes I would love to! Ribbit!"
This made her boyfriend sigh in relief and smile back now calm. "That's great Asui, and yeah it would be our first time..." He leans in close to her until their faces are an inch away from each other. "But at least I'm going out with the most beautiful girl in U.A." This made his girlfriend croak with red appearing on her face, making him chuckle before they slowly kiss on the lips. They then pulled away and continued their slow dance for a little longer, making sure not to step on each other's feet as they imagine it's their prom night. They're both happy, mostly Izuku because he's going on a date tomorrow with Tsuyu, he really can't wait.
All of this, in honesty, has helped him forget all about the nightmare he had. "Deku?" He looks at Asui. "Yeah?" He asked, getting an answer. "I can't wait to see you in a suit tomorrow." Said Tsuyu, giggling while Izuku blushes red all over his face before they both laughed. Just as they were about to kiss and continue their dance, Tsuyu's phone started ringing, confusing them. Who would be calling Tsu this late at night? Pulling away from their dance, She along with Deku close behind her, walked to their room where her phone is. Sitting on the bed she picks up her phone and looks at her phone.
"Ribbit! It's my mom!" Asui said in shock before looking at Midoriya, who only smiled and gave a nod, letting her know it's ok to respond to her mother. She gives a nod back before pressing the call button. "Mom?" She called, bringing the phone up to her ear as she hears her mother asking if she's alright after what happened at the USJ. "Yes mom, I'm ok." Asui's mother sighed in relief, along with her dad who told her how worried they and her siblings were when they heard the news.
"I understand...Ribbit?" Said Asui now listening to her parents tell her something important while Izuku leaves the room. He does so to give her some privacy while he turns off the lights in the living room, the music of his laptop, and the laptop itself. Once everything was off Izuku returns to the bedroom, seeing Asui still on her phone with her parents, not wanting to interrupt the conversation, he walks over and sits down next to her wrapping his arm around her making her blush as he hears her mother ask. "If that's ok?"
Tsuyu nods, telling her. "Sure, I won't mind." They then hear her father ask. "But are you sure you're alright?" She croaks and tells him. "Ribbit. Don't worry, I'm ok," She looks at Izuku with a smile. "Thanks to Izuku." After assuring them she's ok, her mother spoke. "That's good. Now please, get some sleep, sweetie." Tsuyu nods. "Ok, mom...Ribbit-Ribbit. Bye, I love you." They answer back. "We love you too." With that, she hangs up and sighs. "Everything ok?"
She looks at Midoriya who looked at her worriedly, holding her up making her croak in surprise as he sat her on his lap. As Asui snuggles close to him she tells him. "Yeah, they were just checking up on me after what happened at the USJ." She explains. "They're really worried about me, so they want to come over tomorrow to see me. They'll be here around 7 PM." She taps her cheek with a finger, shocking Midoriya at first but then he smiled. He understands since caring parents always worry for their daughter, especially after what happened, just like his mom, Inko since she never stopped crying after picking them up hours ago after they healed.
"That's great Asui, I can't wait to see them and-" She cuts him off. "Wait, Deku, what about our date?" She asks worriedly. She's not going to lie, she really wants to go on a date with him since it'll be their first time, but at the same time, she wants to see her parents. "Don't worry," He said with a smile, kissing her on the cheek. "I was planning we go out at 9 or 10 PM since it would be the best time to go." This made her croak with happiness and slowly snuggle her head on his chest. "Ribbit-Ribbit! Thank you, Deku." She hugs him as he hugs her back, kissing the top of her head. "Welcome, Froppy."
Izuku holds her close, both of them are happy and lucky there's no school tomorrow or the next day. U.A. was closed by the principal and the teachers, wanting the students to have a little break after what happened, especially after two of their teachers were injured during the attack and are currently recovering. After hugging, Tsuyu pulled away looking Izuku in the eyes who did the same before she brought him into a kiss, which made him kiss her back. Through it, Izuku stood up gently while holding Tsuyu before laying her on the bed with him on top of her as they started removing their clothes, beginning to make love again, with both moans and croaks being heard during the night throughout their apartment.
