Izuku stood there with Tsuyu still in his arms bridal style, shocked after what Toshinori told him. "But All Might...That's your catchphrase!" Said Izuku, looking at the floor. "Besides, what can I do?" He asked as Tsuyu looks at him, she could see the determination in his eyes. "You know how the sports festival is set up right?" Yagi asked, walking over to the couch as his successor answered. "Oh, yeah of cour-huh?" Realizing his hands were full he looks down sees he was holding Tsuyu who was blushing. "You were holding me without realizing it, ribbit."
"Gah!" He sat back down on the chair with her immediately. "Crap so sorry!" He apologized embarrassed, causing her to giggle. "Ribbit-Ribbit." She smiles, letting him know it's alright, causing him to smile too, and look at All Might, "So...About the Sports Festival, yes. Students are divided by class year, and the Support, Business, General Studies, and Hero Courses fight against each other in a bunch of prefatory trails. Whoever passes them faces off in the finals." Tsuyu points out. "It's like a big round-robin tournament."
"Correct!" Toshinori points at them. "Meaning you have opportunities to show yourself to the pros!" Izuku and Tsuyu nodded. "But it's honestly kinda hard to get excited about this after the USJ incident..." Midoriya continues to mutter something about being scouted by Hero agencies because of All Might and so on as his girlfriend and the #1 Hero watched until Toshinori coughed a bit of blood. "Man, nobody's better at spoutin' sputters than you, kid."
Izuku stops as he and Tsuyu look at All Might who continues. "Some Heroes always aim for the top, while others freely settle. Difference between them has a big impact on how far you go in the real world." Izuku nods before Yagi added how he understands how he feels and may even be projecting a bit of himself onto him, however hoping he hasn't forgotten the emotions he felt at the beach during training. When finished, Yagi tells them. "You're excused now." With that, Izuku and Tsuyu left the room.
Hours Later
As U.A. is almost over for the day Class 1-A opened the door to leave only to gasp. "Uh...Why are you all here?" Ochako asked as the doorway was blocked by multiple students outside the classroom, looking at them with shock, curiosity, or jealousy. Izuku can see some were looking at him and Tsuyu. Sure they're U.A. students, still with caution he gently puts his girlfriend behind him to cover her as she holds his arm, looking at everyone too. Then they see Iida raise his hand, pointing towards the students.
"Do you students have some sort of business with our class?" He asked before Mineta demanded. "Why are you blocking our doorway?" He raises a fist shouting. "I won't let you hold us hostage!" Bakugou passes them, walking towards the U.A. students. "They're scouting out the competition, idiots. Were the class that survived a real villain attack." While he reminded them, Tsuyu holds Izuku's arms, getting him to smile nervously at her. "Let's just hope he doesn't blow up anybody." Said Izuku as Tsuyu puts a finger on her cheek, looking at Bakugou. "I hope not..."
"At least now you know what a future Pro looks like." Said Bakugou who stopped at the doorway, making the students scouting back off, looking a little nervously. "Now move it, Extras." This shocked Izuku, Tsuyu, Ochako, and Iida who began lecture Katsuki while moving his arm in a chopping motion. "You can't walk around calling people "Extras" just because you don't know who they are!"
Deku looks at the students and sighs, holding Tsu's hand. "Let's go." He whispered, getting a nod from her, she really wants to leave but they stopped, hear someone outside the classroom speak. "So this is Class 1-A? I heard you guys were impressive, but now you just sound like an ass." A student with purple hair, Hitoshi Shinso, walked through the students, getting in front of them as he looks at the five, mainly Bakugou.
"Is everyone in the Hero Course delusional or just you?" He questioned making the class waves their hands and shake their heads no as Bakugou glares at him. "How sad to come here and find a bunch of egomaniacs." Shinso scratches the back of his head, looking at Class 1-A, even Midoriya and Asui who are holding hands. "I wanted to be in the Hero Course, but like many others here I was forced to choose a different track...Such a life." Bakugou kept his glare on him. "Tch."
Feeling Tsu's hand tighten around his, Deku notices she's becoming uncomfortable, looking at the General Studies student. "Don't worry, it'll be ok." With a warm smile, Izuku kisses the top of Tsuyu's head gently as she smiled and nods, which Hitoshi noticed. "I didn't cut it the first time around, but I have another chance." He looks in their direction. "If any of us do well in the Sports Festival, the teachers can decide to transfer us to the Hero Course. And they'll have to transfer people out to make room." Class 1-A gasped as Deku looks at Tsu worried as she does the same.
"Scouting the competition? Maybe some of my peers are...But I'm here to let you know that if you don't bring your very best, I'll steal your spot right from under you. Consider this a declaration of war." Stated Hitoshi in a serious tone. "Where did this guy even come from!?" Iida and Ochako thought in shock as Izuku looks at Shinso with seriousness. He was about to say something but Tsuyu holds him back. Looking at her she shook her head, not wanting him to get mad or worried. As Hitoshi and Bakugou glare at each other, they're interrupted by another. "Hey, you!"
They look to see a student with rough-metallic colored hair and sharp teeth named Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu. "I'm from Class 1-B next door to you! We heard you fought some villains and came to see if it's true! Now I see you're just a group of brats who think you're better than us!" He then notices Bakugou leaving and yells at him. "Hey, don't you ignore me! I'm comin' for you!" With a sigh, Izuku holds Tsuyu's hand. "Let's just go." She nods as he leads her out of the classroom.
Later
The green-haired lovers were on the beach looking at the sunset, still in their school uniforms. Right now Izuku's thinking, remembering what All Might told him. "Hope you haven't forgotten the emotion at the beach during our training." Izuku looks up now having a memory of himself yelling after completing his clean-up training. "No..." He looks down and makes a fist. "I haven't forgotten All Might." He then felt Tsuyu touch his shoulder. "Ribbit?" He looks, seeing her looking at him curiously, making him smile while he bends his knees to reach her height, looking her in the eyes and holding her hands.
"Asui?" He began as she looks at him, tilting her head. "Ribbit?" He grins and tells her. "Let's do our best at the Sports Festival." She smiles back at him. "Plus Ultra?" she said smiling with her tongue out as he chuckled again "Yeah. Plus Ultra!" After exclaiming happily, the two then sat on their knees to watch the sunset together. Before they could, Tsuyu looks at Izuku. "Deku? Ribbit." He looks at her with a hum and noticed a concerned look on her face. "What's wrong, Asui?"
Tsu looks at him and answers his question. "I"m worried for you..." This surprised him. "Worried? Why?" Deku asked her before she told him. "If we want to be noticed by the Pros during the Sports Festival, we're going to have to use our Quirks to show them what we can do to become heroes..." Izuku nodded understanding Tsuyu's worries, while she'll be ok using her Quirk he won't with his. If he uses One For All he's going to end up hurting himself and possibly disqualified if his injuries are bad.
"Hey, I'll be ok." Tsuyu looks at Izuku after he rubbed the top of her head. "I promised that we'll make it together, even if I do need to use One For All I'll make sure not to overuse it." This made Tsuyu croak with a smile. "Thanks, Deku...But it might be difficult." He hummed and looks at Tsu as she continues. "Because of Bakugou, those that aren't in our class will target us throughout the Sports Festival the moment it starts. It's going to be difficult." Deku nodded in agreement. "Yeah..."
Tsu looks up at him. "Why did Bakugou do that anyways? Ribbit." She asked, which Deku tells her. "Kacchan's an idiot...He always looks down at everyone, including his own friends, thinking he can do better than anyone." Tsuyu couldn't help but speak her thoughts. "He's too full of himself, don't you think?" Izuku chuckled and agrees. "Yeah, that's Kacchan." The two soon go into silence for a moment to enjoy the view of the shore and the sun together.
Looking up at Izuku, Tsuyu saw that he was looking a little down. "Are you ok?" He nodded. "I am...Just worried for you too." She blinks tell her. "When the Sports Festival starts, we won't be able to tell what the challenges we'll be facing are, and they could be dangerous." Talking about it was making him worry more about her. "Asui...What if one of the challenges involves fire or frost? You could end up in hibernation or worstandmayevenbedisqualifiedbeforeyoucouldeven... " He went back into mutter the possibilities of the Sports Festival harming his girl, he even started to tear up.
"Deku!" Izuku let out a yelp and stopped muttering as Tsuyu placed her hands on the side of his head, getting him to face her. "I'll be ok, nothing bad will happen to me." Wiping away his tears she comforts him with a hug. "Remember, you'll be with me, so if we go through something hot or cold in the Sports Festival, I'll be protected, by you." When she finished, Izuku then hugged her back, calming him as he smiled. "Thank you Asui." She smiled back. "You're Welcome."
Pulling away with their arms on either their shoulders or sides the two looked at each other in the eyes. Suddenly they went into a kiss which started to get passionate, Tsuyu leaned forward making Izuku lay on the sand with her on top. Through their kiss, Tsuyu grabbed Izuku's hand and brought it up to her chest, placing his hand on her left breast, which he began to rub. "Deku..." Moaned Asui as her other hand reached for Midoriya's belt.
"Hm?" He looks down and blushed, realizing she was trying to go further with him in the open of the beach. While nobody's around it was too risky, causing him to depart from their kiss. "Asui, stop." She croaks confused, looking at him. "We can't do it here in the open, we might attract attention." Tsuyu looks down to see her hands at his waist, causing her to croak with her cheek turning pink as she gets off him. "I'm sorry." Getting up as well, Izuku smiles. "It's ok, you didn't mean to do that...Plus, we can do it back home where no one will see us." Tsuyu smiles at him as they get up from the beach, holding hands, and begin walking back home to prepare for the Sports Festival.
