A tall, muscular teenager stood in front of the much smaller blonde. Both held Styrofoam bats… err… Struggle bats. The two were smirking at each other before lurching and dodging blows. As the practice heated up, the younger boy suddenly collapsed as he tried dodging a blow to the gut.
Wrong move. The blue bat suddenly rammed its way onto the boy's forehead.
Raijin immediately leapt back a foot or two. "I didn't mean to, y'know?"
Hayner rubbed his forehead and smiled. "No problem. I have a hard head, so it's cool."
Rai helped the boy up and smiled nervously. Nobody else was around, just the two of them. "Err… how 'bout some lemonade, y'know? It's refreshing, y'know?"
"Uhh…" being asked out to lemonade after a fight from his rival's good friend had never happened before. He rubbed his head again and nodded, "Sure." He wasn't too sure it was the best idea, but he didn't want to offend the much stronger male.
The tan teenager began walking, followed by the shorter teen. As the two approached a house, Hayner stopped. It looked like a mansion. "Wooow… is this your place?"
Raijin turned around. He gave a confirming nod and began walking towards Hayner, to stand beside him and gaze up at it. "My parents left for a better place a while back. It's been left to me since, y'know? Anyway… come on in, y'know?"
The muscular teenager began walking again, but Hayner followed very slowly, taking in many details of the house. Rai opened the door to his house and waited for Hayner to finally reach the door.
"It's so big…" Hayner said in awe.
"It's alright, y'know."
The two walked in and Rai led the blonde to the kitchen, where he let the boy be seated. He went to the fridge and got out a pitcher, half full, of a yellow liquid.
Hayner licked his lips; it smelled really sugary.
Smiling, Rai placed a glass of lemonade before the blonde. "Drink up and tell me how it is, y'know?"
Hayner was much obliged by the kindness Rai was showing, so he obeyed, taking a large gulp. It was delicious, he couldn't help himself, he downed the whole glass, bringing it down empty.
"It was delicious!"
Rai grinned and rubbed the back of his head as if embarrassed.
