Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows Train Scene
"I can't believe there are more of these universes where we each do different things." Blake said as she was still reeling from the previous universe.
"I can't believe you let Qrow still take Ms. Rose on more adventures." Glynda said as she gave Taiyang and Raven a glare.
"She's learning more with him anyway." Raven said with an eye roll.
"Even if she might die?" Amber asked.
"Well we don't want that, but Qrow won't let Ruby die," Taiyang said as he looked around at the unsure face "Right?"
"I assume this universe will be just as exciting?" Ozpin asked.
"It's actually about you." Cosmo said with a grin.
Everyone was surprised to hear that as Ozpin rose an eyebrow.
"About old Oz? This should be good." Qrow said with a smirk, he hoped that this one would be as crazy as the last because he'd never seen Ozpin less than well…perfect.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Ozpin said.
"Don't be, you're the world's greatest detective in this one." Cosmo said which surprised a few.
"He is?" Jaune asked.
"Yep! And Ironwood is a decorated police officer that works with Ozpin to solve crimes and in this universe I'll show you how smart Ozpin can be and how dangerous of an enemy they are facing." Cosmo explained.
"Let's see it!" Nora exclaimed.
"I can't wait." Salem said with an amused smirk as Hazel growled silently and clenched his fists.
"Let's do this!" Cosmo exclaimed as he poofed back to his seat and started the universe.
Ironwood was shown looking out of some train doors "How many were you expecting?"
Ozpin, who was dressed as a woman, briefly turned to him to answer then looked back out "Half a dozen!"
"My god…" Glynda uttered in shock.
"Why am I dressed as a woman Cosmo!" Ozpin exclaimed.
Salem laughed and tried to hide it as Ozpin glared at her, most were actually chuckling and giggling at the absurdity that these universes were bringing.
"I wish I had a scroll to take a picture of this." Yang said as she heard a click above her and a picture of Ozpin dressed as a woman dropped to her lap, she looked up to see Cosmo dressed as a photographer with a large camera in hand.
Yang smiled "Thanks little buddy!"
"It is strange seeing myself like this." Ironwood said.
"Tell me about it." Ruby said.
"Who are they!?" Ironwood shouted.
"A wedding present from Watts." Ozpin answered.
"A wedding present?" Watts asked.
"Didn't think you'd be the type." Hazel commented.
"I do not concern myself with such trivial matters." Watts replied with narrowed eyes.
"Who's wedding present is it?" Glynda asked.
"I doubt it would be Ozpin's, so…" Raven said as she turned her head towards Ironwood.
"Me!?" Ironwood scoffed "I won't get married until we've found peace."
"I'm sorry for your sad and lonely death general." Salem said as Tyrian and some of the bad guys laughed.
Glynda stood from the carriage seat as Ozpin stood in front of her "Lovely ceremony by the way, many of tears shed to enjoy."
Glynda looked at him like he was crazy then looked towards Ironwood "James!"
"OH MY OUM!!" Ruby gasped as she had stars in her eyes.
"You and Goodwitch are married!!" Taiyang shouted with a grin as Glynda and Ironwood were frozen with visible blushes on their faces.
"Congratulations sir!" Winter congratulated with a proud smile.
"Y-Yeah…thank you…" Ironwood said with a dumfounded look on his face.
"This is quite strange…" Glynda said as she tried not to look at Ironwood.
Raven smirked "So when's the honeymoon?"
This made them blush as red as Ruby's cape as most laughed.
A man in red who held a gun popped up from a corner and James shot at him which caused him to duck back into the corner "Okay, just a minute darling!"
Ozpin grabbed onto Glynda and looked her in the eyes "Do you trust me?"
Ironwood narrowed his eyes "What is he planning?"
"This should be good." Emerald snickered.
Glynda frowned at him with a glare "No."
This brought some chuckles as Ozpin looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh you know I trust you." Glynda said with an eye roll.
"Well then I shall have to," Ozpin said as he looked at James who's back was turned then back at Glynda "Do something about that."
"Careful Oz, you're sounding like a villain." Qrow said.
Ozpin then pushed Glynda out of the open train door as she fell out with a scream and all the way down to a lake that the train was conveniently travelling over.
"Safe!" Nora shouted with a baseball cap that came out of nowhere.
"What is wrong with you!!!??" Glynda shouted as she held Ozpin by the collar.
"You're alive at least." Ozpin joked nervously.
"Ozpin!" Ironwood shouted.
The laughs that the scene brought were heard throughout the theater though some weren't laughing as they commented Ozpin on the strategic move.
"He got rid of the liability so that she wouldn't get in the way of the dangerous situation, impressive." Salem summarized, he'd always been smart one.
Ozpin took off the bonnet and looked towards James, undeterred about his decision.
"Take that you bastards!" Ironwood shouted as he shot another round "Send out the fast bowler!"
"James do shut the door." Ozpin said as James did so and turned around.
He looked around the cart in confusion then looked at Ozpin in shock as he sighed.
"It had to be done." Ozpin said as he knew what he was thinking.
"No it didn't!" Glynda yelled.
"He's gonna kill you." Taiyang said with a laugh.
Ozpin sighed as he sipped his coffee and avoided Ironwood's and Glynda's glares.
"She's safe now!" Ozpin shouted as James pushed him away and looked out of the train.
He slowly turned around and glared at a nervous looking Ozpin "In my own defense, I timed it perfect-"
Ozpin was cut off as James lunged at him and started strangling him as they fell to the floor "Did you kill my wife!! DID YOU JUST KILL MY NEW WIFE!!"
They burst out in laughter at the two.
"These idiots are just as funny as Qrow and Ruby!" Cinder laughed.
"Ozpin!" Ironwood exclaimed as he let out a frustrated groan.
"I never thought professor Ozpin could be so funny." Ruby said.
"I know right!" Yang said as she continued laughing.
Ozpin slapped his hands away "Of course not!"
James punched him and grabbed his face as Ozpin tried to push him away "What do you mean? How do you know that when you just threw her off a train!"
"I told you I timed it perfectly." Ozpin defended.
"He's right." Coco said.
"He did time it perfectly." Yatsuhashi said with a nod.
"But what he did was still uncalled for!" Glynda exclaimed.
"Oh don't be so dramatic." Ozpin said but shrunk away from the furious glare directed at him.
"What does that mean!" James shouted as he ripped Ozpin's shirt off.
"Okay I'll say it, GAYYY!!" Mercury shouted as everyone laughed.
"The position we are in is quite compromising." Ozpin said.
"I'd rather not talk to you at the moment Ozpin." Ironwood said as he shook his head.
James tried to grab at Ozpin but he wrangled his leg over James' shoulder which held him back.
"Calm down." Ozpin said.
"Explain!" James shouted.
"Stop trying to kill him then!" Vernal argued with a frustrated growl.
"I love this universe." Summer laughed.
"By the time I'd explained, we'd both be dead!" Ozpin argued.
Suddenly the car doors opened and men with guns entered as they aimed the guns at them. The camera zoomed in to the barrel to show that plugging the gun was a tube of lipstick with an M on the base. The scene shifted to show Ozpin holding the lipstick then applying it, he put it in a small bag as James popped his head out of the car too look around and gave Ozpin an inquisitive look before brushing it off.
"I'm sorry madam, you can't use the lavatory while the train is in the station." A man said to Ozpin as he nodded and smiled, the man walked away as Ozpin had swiped a key from him and used it to enter a lavatory.
Everyone was silent as they watched the detailed planning with curiosity, wonder and awe.
Ozpin locked the door and opened the ventilation shafts to see the men all arming themselves in the room next to the lavatory. He closed the shafts and guided his gloved hands up the chain for flushing the toilet, he kicked the tap on the basin repeatedly until it broke off then he used it to unlock a box up top.
"I never thought he'd be such an improviser." Roman said in shock.
"Emerald take notes; this is how you use your surroundings." Cinder said as Emerald nodded rapidly.
He opened the box to reveal another tap, Ozpin opened the blinds and looked outside to see another train approaching on the opposite side. Ozpin poured a powder into his hands then placed it down onto the sink as the camera showed that it was phosphorus. Ozpin turned the top tap which dimmed all the lights and opened the bathroom door, he entered the next room and blew the powder into the room as he worked quickly to replace one bullet with the lipstick and place the cover into the gun. The scene changed back to show Ozpin and James back on the ground with men aiming their guns at them.
Everyone watched with dropped jaws at the complexity of his plan, this Ozpin was way superior in intelligence then they originally thought.
"That was amazing!" Jaune exclaimed.
"Professor Ozpin, you're a genius!" Ruby said with a squeal.
Ozpin chuckled "I feel as if the alternated version of me is an actual genius."
"Who plans that far? He's amazing!" Cinder said in awe.
"I can see why you call him the greatest detective." Qrow said.
Sienna nodded "That man is a genius and he knows it."
The man pulled the trigger as the gun fired in slow motion and the bullet launched through the barrel, only to be blocked by the lipstick cover. The gun blew up as the men burst into flames as Ozpin closed the door and kicked James off him.
"And you just disregard setting a man on fire, fantastic." Glynda said sarcastically.
"And that's why we teach you how to assemble and disassemble your weapons." Qrow said.
"Yeah thanks." Yang said with wide eyes.
"These things can be dangerous." Blake added.
Ozpin sat up as he looked at James "That was no accident!"
Ozpin pulled up his dress to reveal the toilet chain and a golden grenade as he glared at James "It was by design."
"I bet." Junior said in admiration.
'Now that's a man!' Salem thought with a dreamy smirk.
Ozpin put the grenade on a railing and hooked the chain to the door, he then turned to look at James.
"Now, do you need me to elaborate?" Ozpin asked as he took off the dress "Or can we just crack on?"
Ozpin walked out the open window and traveled along the side of the moving train as James followed him.
"Go ahead!" Ozpin shouted over the noise of the train as James caught up with him "Don't worry old boy! She's as safe as houses, she's with my brother!"
"I have a brother!?" Ozpin asked in surprise.
"Apparently." Winter said in shock at what they were doing.
"Professor Ozpin is so cool!" Yang exclaimed with a grin.
"I'm on my honeymoon!" James shouted as he kicked Ozpin.
Cinder rolled her eyes "Get over it."
"Why did you lead them here!? Why did you us!?" James shouted.
"They're not here for me, they're here for you!" Ozpin shouted.
"See, he saved you! He cares…even if he threw your wife out of a window." Summer said to Ironwood.
"I guess, thank you Ozpin." Ironwood said.
"Yes, thank you. I shall learn to trust you more on your decisions." Glynda said solemnly.
"All is forgiven." Ozpin responded.
More men opened the car to look inside and fully opened the door as they ran to look out the window, unknowingly pulling the pin.
"Tic, Tic," Cinder started as most smirked at what was about to happen.
"Fortunately," Ozpin started as the man aimed the gun at them.
"Boom." Cinder said.
The room exploded as the man was blown out of the train as James and Ozpin regained their footing.
"So am I." Ozpin finished as he opened the door to the next car "Now mind the door!"
"So there was an ulterior motive." Salem said as she enjoyed watching this Ozpin.
"Manipulative bastard…" Hazel growled.
"Good evening." Ozpin said as he entered the car and looked at a fearful old couple, he took out his gun as they stepped back in fear. He walked past them then opened the cart door "I think you'll find second class as more comfortable, the coast is clear."
The couple didn't move and Ozpin clapped his hands which forced them to move "To the south, quick march!"
"Of course they're not going to move, you've got a gun!" Kali exclaimed.
"It did the job didn't it?" Roman asked.
Ozpin shut the door and James shut the other door, he turned around but he was shocked to see Ozpin had disappeared. He looked around then looked down to see Ozpin lying on the ground casually.
"Lie down with me James." Ozpin said.
This brought some laughs from everyone as Ironwood glared and frowned at the screen.
"What the general wishes Glynds would say to him." Qrow jabbed, only to be met with a right hook from Glynda though his jab did make everyone laugh.
"How'd that feel you drunk!" Glynda yelled.
Qrow groaned but gave her a thumbs up "Worth it."
"Why!?" James yelled angrily.
"I insist." Ozpin said as he pulled James down to the ground with him, Ozpin took out a flask and started drinking it.
"What are we doing down here?" James asked.
"We are waiting; I am drinking coffee." Ozpin said as he took another sip.
"Waiting for what?" Sun asked as Ruby shrugged.
"Of course he has coffee with him." Ren said.
"Never seen him without a mug." Pyrrha said.
"I'm starting to think that you're addicted to this stuff." Ghira said though Ozpin didn't answer and drank his coffee.
"Him too!" Kali pointed to a shocked Oobleck.
The scene changed to show more men opening a box to reveal pieces of a gun then they put it together as they put it on a stand then loaded the ammo.
"Wait didn't Ozpin?" Mercury asked.
Melanie and Militia smirked as they spoke at the same time "This is gonna be good."
They started firing through the cabins and Ozpin and James had to turn around so that they could avoid the debris. The gun destroyed everything, from the cabins to the bathroom as bullet holes littered the walls.
Ozpin took another sip the glanced at James "Patiently waiting."
"For what!?" James yelled angrily.
Ozpin took out his gun and handed it to James "Your window of opportunity."
"Better make it count." Raven said with a smirk.
"I think I will." James replied.
"This is gonna be awesome." Ruby whispered.
"Amazing." Watts muttered.
The gun continued to fire as the lipstick in the ammo got closer and closer until it reached the gun and jammed it which surprised both men.
"Make it count!" Ozpin said.
Some smirked at Raven as she rolled her eyes.
James stood up and aimed the gun at them, a man pulled the pin out of a grenade as James fired which hit the man's shoulder and dropped into a bag of grenades.
"Wow!" Yang said in surprise.
"A combination of luck and intelligent planning, you two make a great team." Amber said as she was impressed.
"We should work together sometime." Ozpin suggested.
Ironwood shrugged "Why not? I feel as if I'm getting rusty."
The man reloaded the gun and continued firing as James went back to the ground.
"I said make it count!" Ozpin shouted. "How many windows must I provide!?"
The man who was hit in the shoulder screamed in pain but then noticed the pin in his hand and started searching through the bag of grenades, he found it then looked at his unfortunate friend in realization. The cart blew up as it was noticeable from outside of the train and separated it.
"Bravo! Bravo!" Salem shouted as she clapped with Tyrian clapping alongside her and some did to, as to commend the two.
"These two cause more damage than you two!" Cinder shouted as she looked at Mercury and Emerald.
"Hey!" Emerald exclaimed.
"We only cause minimal damage." Mercury explained.
Ozpin and James were shown sitting in the wrecked cart as James sat out, looking over the edge while Ozpin sat behind him, bundled up.
"Who'd have known that honeymooning in Vacuo would be such a dangerous notion." Ozpin commented.
"Is that what this is about?" James asked.
"By your own admission, you've never enjoyed it there." Ozpin said.
"I've never been to Vacuo." James said.
"Really?" Neptune asked.
Ironwood rolled his eyes "Of course I've been there, I've been everywhere!"
"He is the general dude." Sun whispered as Neptune nodded.
"Or maybe you're just too fragile to remember it present." Ozpin said.
"Oh shut up!" James yelled "Tell me my wife's safe."
"I can't do both," Ozpin quipped.
This brought a few laughs from the crowed.
"Got you there!" Tyrian exclaimed.
"I promise as I said, I timed it perfectly." Ozpin said as the scene changed to show Glynda falling into the river as boat approached her and in it was Sun and Neptune.
"Over here madam!" Sun exclaimed as he raised his lantern.
"Dude! That's us!" Sun exclaimed.
"Woohoo!" Neptune cheered as they were glad to see themselves in these things.
"I'm surprised he's not afraid of the water." Weiss said.
"Let him have his moment, look at him he's adorable." Yang said.
"I believe congratulations are in order, Mrs. Ironwood." Sun said as they finally reached Glynda.
"Mrs. Ironwood…" Ironwood muttered with a dreamy expression.
"You're not okay with this are you?" Glynda asked with a raised eyebrow.
Ironwood blushed as he coughed "Of course not."
"I'm the other Ozpin if you will." Sun said.
"I'm professor Ozpin's brother!?" Sun exclaimed.
"That's super weird!" Jaune said.
"Well then!" Ozpin said in surprise.
"You mean there's two of you? Oh how marvelous!" Glynda said sarcastically "Could this evening get any better?"
"Digging the sarcasm Glynds." Qrow said with a smirk as Glynda rolled her eyes at him.
"Why were Glynda and I targeted at all?" James asked as the scene changed back to the two.
"Excellent question." Ozpin said "The answer is twofold."
"He's after us because of you." James said as he frowned.
"I feel that explains everything." Ironwood said with narrowed eyes.
"You idiot!" Glynda shouted.
Yang and Ruby laughed as Taiyang said "This is just the best!"
"I'm afraid you must spare half the responsibility," Ozpin said.
"Here it comes." James said.
"Does he annoy you often?" Sienna asked.
"Way too many times." Ironwood said with a groan.
"As you and Glynda have been so hell-bent on your wedding, we could have already solved this case." Ozpin tried to explain.
"There it is, it's my fault now." James said.
"The argument could be Glynda." Ozpin continued.
"No it couldn't." James said as he shook his head.
"That your prenuptials were rather poorly timed." Ozpin said which left a silence between them.
"I see what's going on here." Blake said.
"Blake?" Yang asked.
"He just misses his partner and this big case couldn't be solved before he got married." Blake explained.
"AWW, That's so cute!" Summer said.
"Didn't think you'd be a sappy kind of guy Ozpin." Raven said as Ozpin frowned and sighed.
"Thus our relationship," Ozpin said as he stood up.
"Relationship?" James asked in confusion.
"I'm starting to think the old headmaster is pining for the general." Roman said which brought a few laughs to some as Ozpin and Ironwood glared at him.
"Very well, partnership has not yet run its course." Ozpin said "My dear fellow, if you could be bothered to see this through to the end. I shall never again ask you to assist me."
"So this is their last hurrah." Port said.
"Fitting if they're chasing down their greatest foe." Oobleck said.
The two exchanged looks silently as James sighed.
"Once more unto the breach." James said as he raised his finger.
"That's the spirit. Now to the question, this is so deliciously complicated. You may be asking yourself, what does a criminal mastermind want with a simply gypsy fortune-teller? It's her brother I tell you, when we find him and we must." Ozpin monologues.
"After you find my luggage." James said as Ozpin looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Dawn." Ozpin said as he walked away.
"Wait." James stopped him "Where is it we're going?"
"Vale, the most sensible honeymoon destination of all." Ozpin said as the train kept moving and the screen went dark.
Cosmo poofed the front "Was that fun or what!?"
"It was amazing, the mindset of a smart man like Professor Ozpin is both complex and insane." Winter said.
"He was just so cool!" Ruby exclaimed.
"They make a great team." Blake said.
"I hope this amazingness will continue in the next one Mr. Cosmo." Whitley asked.
"It will!" Cosmo responded.
"Can't wait!" Oscar said as Ruby, Yang and Nora cheered.
