Far Cry 3: Vaas' Definition of Insanity Speech
"I'm sorry what? The next dimension will be focusing on Tyrion of all people?" Watts asked indignantly.
"What's wrong with a dimension focusing on me?" Tyrion asked in offence to Watts' question.
"Everything!" Watts exclaimed.
"I never said it was a dimension about Tyrion, all I said was that I was gonna show you the true definition of insanity." Cosmo said.
"So you're gonna make us watch a crazy person?" Ruby asked.
"We're not psychiatrists you know." Weiss added with a bored look.
"C'mon guys let's give it a chance, maybe it won't be so bad." Jaune tried to convince with a dorky smile.
'He's so cute!' Pyrrha exclaimed, luckily in her head.
"Why not, maybe it'll top your badass moment Ice Queen." Qrow jabbed with a smirk.
Winter rolled her eyes "Please, I doubt there are greater feats than what've previously seen."
"I will admit your attack on that titan was amazing to see, you shouldn't get overconfident. I have a feeling there are greater feats and stronger beings in these dimensions." Ozpin advised.
Winter frowned, she wanted to argue with him but deep down she knew that he was right. Ironwood nudged her elbow and she looked to see him giving her a thumbs up and a proud smile and that was all she needed to elevate her mood.
"Any context on this universe before we start?" Summer asked.
"Well…the basic rundown is that you teens from Bacon Academy," Cosmo began.
"Beacon." Glynda corrected in annoyance.
"You teens from Beacon Academy go on vacation on a tropical island but things get crazy when all of you are kidnapped by pirates but Jaune managed to escape and now he's trying to save all of you and escape the island while trying to survive the pirates and the ones who live on the island." Cosmo summarized to a surprised group.
"Wow." Yang said with wide eyes.
"I know right." Ruby said with the same wide eyes.
"I don't know if you're the luckiest or unluckiest bastard I've ever seen Arc." Roman said as he fixed his hair up.
"Is he okay?" Saphron asked in slight worry.
"Define okay?" Cosmo asked as Raven chuckled.
"I feel like this dimension is going to be scary." Velvet mumbled.
Coco wrapped her arm around her shoulder with a comforting smile "It's okay Velv, you got me."
Velvet blushed with a nod as Yang smirked at Weiss with her hand out, Weiss rolled her eyes and paid her ten Lien.
"Look I suck at explaining things so just watch and see okay?" Cosmo asked and they all nodded in agreement.
"This should be fun." Tyrian said with a smirk.
"The video is in Jaune's perspective by the way." Cosmo added.
"Huh?" They all uttered as Cosmo ignored them and started the dimension.
"Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is?" Qrow asked as the image of him was blurry until he was shown sitting on a crate.
"Wait Qrow is the crazy one?" Summer asked.
"What a twist!" Tyrian exclaimed but then he looked at Qrow "I always felt that you and I were more alike than we thought."
"Not on your life pal." Qrow replied with a scoff.
"Pal!? We're already on nickname basis!? Oh my gosh I gotta come up with one for you." Tyrian said as he started mumbling to himself.
"So who's your new best friend Qrow?" Raven asked with a smirk.
"Don't tell me you're replacing me?" Taiyang asked as he feigned being hurt.
"I always knew there was something wrong with you." Winter stated with a smirk.
Qrow rolled his eyes at them and chugged his flask "Shut up, all of you."
"Insanity is doing the exact same fucking thing over and over again, expecting shit to change." Qrow said as Jaune struggled with his ropes and a man was getting beat up behind him.
"I'm just going to cover his ears for the rest of this." Terra said as she covered an awake yet drowsy Adrien's ears.
"Uncle Qrow you swore!" Ruby exclaimed.
"A whole bunch of time too." Yang added with a laugh.
"Honestly Qrow!" Glynda exclaimed as she shook her head in disappointment.
"It wasn't me and I don't even swear…that much." Qrow muttered as he looked away.
'I guess I'm insane then.' Ozpin and Salem thought at the same time.
"Is what he's saying really true?" Whitley asked.
"I mean I do a thousand push-ups every day so I guess I'm pretty insane." Sun bragged with a smirk.
"You do ten." Scarlet deadpanned as Sun fell of his seat "And only once a week."
"Must you ruin everything!?" Sun exclaimed.
"Just speaking the truth here." Scarlet said with a shrug.
"So we're just going to ignore the guy getting beat up behind him?" Coco asked.
"I mean…does he really matter though?" Cinder asked.
"That is crazy." Qrow stated as the man's screams were heard "But the first time somebody told me that, I don't know, I thought they were bullshitting me so boom, I shot him."
Some gasped at this while Qrow glared at his other self angrily, he never expected to see himself in this light, ever.
"I like this one." Raven said with a smirk, she really wanted to recruit this version of her brother because he wasn't some goody two shoes like the one she was stuck with.
"Oh wow, this dude is pretty cool." Mercury said.
"You just killed someone because you they were lying?" Taiyang asked though he didn't expect answer since that other Qrow couldn't hear him.
"Jaune needs to get away from him now!" Saphron exclaimed in worry.
"He really does seem unhinged." Jacques said.
"He's dangerous." Qrow added, he could tell.
"The thing is, okay…" Qrow said as he chuckled "He was right."
"Well I guess you can go and apologize to him now since he is, Oh wait! You shot him!" Weiss shouted.
"Convenient." Cinder said as she giggled.
"And then I started to see it everywhere I looked. Everywhere I looked, all these fucking pricks, everywhere I looked, doing the exact same fucking thing, over and over and over and over and over again." Qrow continued.
"Stop surrounding yourself with psychos then!" Winter shouted.
"But he fits in so well." Cinder said as she felt attracted to this version of Qrow.
"Bird I can't remember with a Q! No that's too long…" Tyrian muttered as he went back to thinking of a nickname.
"Thinking, 'This time, it's gonna be different. No, no, no please! This time, it's gonna be different.' I am sorry, I don't like the way…" Qrow said but then he suddenly hit the crate away as a car was backing up near the edge behind him "You are looking at me, okay?"
"Jaune stop looking at him." Saphron said as she felt scared for her brother at the sudden outburst.
"Why me?" Jaune asked as he did so.
"She meant the one on screen Jaune." Pyrrha reminded.
"Oh…" Jaune said as he rubbed the back of his head awkwardly and uncovered his eyes "My bad."
"You too Nora." Ren said to Nora who also covered her eyes.
"I knew that." Nora said as she tried to play it off with a laugh.
"Somebody's about to snap." Tyrian said as his grin widened.
"Ooh~ Temper, temper~" Cinder said with a sultry smirk.
"You like the drunk now?" Roman asked.
"Not ours, that one." Cinder gestured to the screen.
"You have a fucking problem in your head? Do you think I'm bullshitting you? Do you think I am lying? Fuck you!" Qrow shouted.
"No, maybe, yes and fuck you too buddy!" Qrow replied.
"Qrow!" Summer and Taiyang shouted as they gestured to the kids.
"Oh please, they're teenagers. They practically invented swearing." Qrow said as he rolled his eyes.
"He just might be my new favorite role-model." Mercury said.
"But he's crazy." Emerald stated as she gave him a weird look.
"No…he's just a misunderstood deep guy." Mercury responded.
"I'm starting to think you've gone crazy." Emerald said.
'Maybe' Neo wrote.
"Okay, fuck you!" Qrow shouted as the man who was getting beat up was kicked off the cliff while he held a concrete brick in his hands.
"Did we just see a guy get murdered?" Neptune asked.
"What!?" Ruby shouted since Summer had been covering her ears.
"I think that guy got murdered!" Yang shouted since Taiyang was covering her ears.
"They do know that there are subtitles at the bottom right?" Oobleck asked.
"Shhh…don't spoil such a riveting speech." Port shushed.
"It's okay man." Qrow said as he chuckled and walked towards a brick that had Jaune's rope tied to it as he struggled with them "I'm gonna chill, hermano. I'm gonna chill. The thing is…all right."
"Oh no…" Glynda said with wide eyes.
"No, no, no…" Saphron said in fear.
"Don't do it." Qrow said angrily.
"Jaune…" Pyrrha said in fear.
"Crud!" Jaune exclaimed.
"The thing is, I killed you once already." Qrow said as he approached Jaune "And it's not like I am fucking crazy."
"Yes you are!" Half of the theater shouted.
"It's okay. It's like water under the bridge." Qrow said as he gestured to the ledge.
"He, he…nice." Yang and Taiyang laughed at the pun.
"Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?" Qrow asked as he stood in front of Jaune.
"Yes you did, why are you oh…" Ruby said as she realized what he did there.
"Funny, ruthless and smart…Cinder like very much~" Cinder said as she fanned herself with a small blush and bit her lip.
"He is my best friend." Tyrian said as his eyes sparkled.
"Guys good with his words." Taiyang said.
"I know." Qrow said with a growl.
Qrow walked over to the brick and stepped on it as Jaune spoke "Oh Oum…uh, uh…Ah!"
Qrow kicked off the brick and Jaune was dragged along with it down the hole but not before shouting "Fuck you!"
"Jaune!" Saphron and Terra exclaimed in shock.
"Why did I say that!" Jaune exclaimed with a face-palm.
"This Qrow is truly despicable." Ironwood said with a glare.
"For once, we agree." Qrow said with a glare of his own.
Jaune struggled with his binds as the screen went dark.
"What'd you think?" Cosmo asked as he poofed to the front.
"Pretty scary, I'm not gonna lie." Ruby said.
"Who knew there would be an insane version of Qrow out there." Taiyang said as he rubbed his eyes.
"I feel like there are weirder things out there." Summer said.
"True." Raven said as most nodded in agreement.
"I'll miss seeing my hunk." Cinder muttered with a pout as Emerald rubbed her back.
"There, there. You have that one at least." Emerald tried to convince as she pointed at Qrow.
"It's not the same!" Cinder cried.
"Though I may not approve or believe in what he stands for, I found that to be quite informative. Many people are not in the right mindset and some are just trying to do what they can to find their path in life." Ozpin spoke and most were in agreement of that, he personally agreed with Qrow's philosophy since he has been fighting for a long time.
"Ooh! Bird buddy! That's my nickname for you, what'd you think bird buddy?" Tyrian asked.
Qrow snapped as he glared at him "For the last time, I am not nor will I ever be your friend!"
Tyrian stopped smiling for a moment and stared at him but then he grinned "Stubborn as always, don't you worry bird buddy. You'll come around, they always do."
Qrow was about to go and attack him but Winter forced him to sit down and gave him a look yet it somehow calmed him down somewhat.
"Tch, whatever." Qrow muttered as he drank from his flask.
'Whoa, how'd she do that?" Summer thought as she looked between them.
'I ship it, bro.' Raven thought with a smirk.
"Why don't we watch something lighter in the next one?" Cosmo asked.
Everyone either sighed or cheered in relief at the offer.
"Yes please!" Ruby exclaimed.
"Okay then, the next one will be about a weirdly funny man that does the most ridiculous things and just goes through his daily life in the best possible way he could." Cosmo said.
"He sounds delightful." Glynda said as she was happy to see a good one after the past two.
"He is!" Cosmo exclaimed with a knowing laugh.
