Rudy Mancuso – Circle of Love
"The circle of love? Sounds romantic." Willow said with a happy smile.
"Anything is better than what Cosmo just showed us." Sun muttered in a dead voice as Neptune, Scarlet and Glynda nodded in unison.
"Oh come on! That was comedy!" Cosmo exclaimed with his hand on his hips.
"Understandable amigo! Do not fret for I, Juandissimo!" Juandissimo exclaimed as his shirt ripped once more as he flexed "Have it covered! Because this one will show the life of a young man that has found love as fast as he lost it."
"Sounds painful." Ironwood stated.
"I'll enjoy this then." Cinder said with a smirk.
"Well can you start it then Juan?" Yang asked.
"It's not Juan! It's Juandissimo!" Juandissimo exclaimed as his shirt reappeared on his body, only to rip when he flexed again.
"Yeah whatever," Yang said as she rolled her eyes "Just start it already."
Juandissimo smirked and winked as he poofed into Cosmo's seat and started the dimension while Cosmo tried to push him off.
The dimension started by showing someone in bed as his alarm clock rang. He shut it off as he sat up and yawned, the person was Ren.
"Woah, so its Ren's turn to be in the center of these things." Jaune said as he smiled at his friend.
"Yay!" Nora exclaimed with a grin.
"How exciting." Pyrrha said with a smile.
Ren chuckled "Let's just hope it's not as embarrassing as the few we've seen."
Ren threw the covers to the side then he was shown brushing his teeth as he turned on the sink and spat it out and wiped his nose.
"Is everything you do so robotic?" Neptune asked and Ren just shrugged.
Ren was then shown pouring coffee into his cup as he tapped it with his spoon.
Ozpin raised his own mug as a toast to a fellow coffee drinker.
Ren was then shown walking outside of his apartment.
"Morning neighbor." A man said as Ren gave him a brief wave "Have a good day."
"You look so jaded." Weiss commented.
"Not a morning person I presume?" Glynda asked as Ren nodded.
"Waking up is sometimes the most taxing things to do." Ren said as fellow night owls nodded in agreement.
Ren was shown trying to start his car to no avail then he was shown sitting in a subway train.
"Hate when that happens." Taiyang said as he chuckled at the relatability.
Ren was shown tapping his pen on his book in class as he was about to fall asleep but caught himself.
"Been there!" Ruby exclaimed with a smile.
"Really?" Port asked.
"Sorry professor but sometimes your classes are just so long." Yang said with a groan.
Ren was shown unzipping his pants as he started peeing then he was shown washing his hands with hand lotion as a toilet flushed.
"Well there's another detail I didn't need to know about my friends." Blake said as she rubbed her eyes.
Ren was shown at a lunch room as he opened a can of soda and sipped it.
"Loser!" A person shouted and a banana peel was thrown at Ren which hit him right in the face but he ignored it.
"Alright who did that!?" Yang shouted with an angry look.
"Whoever it was, I'm breaking their legs!" Nora shouted with a glare.
"Guys I don't think Ren cares either way." Blake said as Ren sighed.
"A little hazing won't kill me." Ren said. As he shrugged indifferently.
"But still, that behavior is unacceptable." Glynda said with a frown.
Ren was shown out on a job then he was shown standing in the shower with the same bored expression.
"I'm actually starting to think you're part robot dude." Sun said.
"Robot?" Penny asked as Ruby covered her mouth.
"Shhh!" Ruby silenced her.
"Yeah, you are way too calm and bored." Neptune said.
Nora blushed since they were actually watching Ren in the shower and sure it wasn't inappropriate since they didn't show his bottom half but she couldn't help thinking about it, Emerald's cheeks were red but she didn't know why.
Ren was shown putting on a sweatshirt as he rolled up the sleeves and buckled his belt.
"And where are you going looking all nice and spiffy?" Coco asked with a smirk.
Ren was shown at the movies with Yang as he put his arm over her shoulder and leaned in for a kiss but she slapped him.
Nora's eye twitched as she felt a twinge of jealousy form within her as Ren coughed awkwardly.
"I'm sorry Yang but I do not have feelings for you in that way." Ren apologized.
Yang chuckled "It's okay Ren I get it; different dimensions have different outcomes."
"It doesn't really matter because she made it clear that she wasn't interested." Taiyang said with a laugh.
Ren shut his apartment door and threw his keys into the room. He was then shown sitting on his couch and turning on the T.V, then he was shown sitting in front of a green screen as he played on a keyboard.
"I didn't know you could play the keyboard." Pyrrha said in surprise.
"Well I can play a few instruments," Ren said as he shrugged "Nothing special."
"A few!? Pshh! Ren is a master of every instrument he touches." Nora stated with a smirk.
"Wow." Velvet said.
"Yu gotta play for us sometime man." Jaune said.
"I think these dimensions may beat me to it." Ren said as he smirked.
Ren was shown brushing his teeth once more then he was shown lying down on his bed as he yawned and clapping his hands as the lights turned off.
"Man I want some sound automated lights." Taiyang complained.
"You should get them," Jacques urged with a smile "They are wonderful."
"Yeah but I don't have the money for them." Taiyang said with a sigh.
Jacques smirked "I know."
The sequence started again but it was a little faster with him brushing his teeth, drinking coffee, barely acknowledging his neighbor, his car not starting, subway, boring classes, bathroom, getting called a loser and having an apple thrown at him, a jog, a shower, dressing up, getting slapped by Yang on their second date, entering his apartment, practicing with a guitar, brushing his teeth then bed.
"Wow your life is exactly the same as yesterday." Mercury said.
"So mundane." Salem commented.
"So this time it was the guitar." Blake said as she noticed the different instrument.
"You scored two dates with Yang and both ended with her slapping you." Sun said with a laugh.
"Whoever that bully is, he's gonna pay." Nora said with a growl.
The sequence started again but faster with waking up, teeth, coffee, neighbor, car, subway, class, bathroom, bully with grapes, jog, shower, clothes, date with Blake this time, apartment, bongos then bed.
"Same life with some slight alterations." Oobleck commented.
"The fact that they threw grapes at him this time." Cardin said.
"He went on a date with Blake this time." Ruby said.
"He practiced on the bongos instead." Nora said "Told you he's a master at music."
The sequence started again and it was even faster with waking up, teeth, coffee, neighbor, car, subway, class, bathroom, bully with an orange, jog, shower, clothes and a date with Cinder but this time as he went in for the kiss, she kissed back.
"Oh?" Yang asked in surprise.
"Really now?" Roman asked as he started smirking.
"What!?" Cinder and Nora exclaimed, Cinder was in shock while Nora was just angry.
Nora hugged Ren's arm tightly as she glared at him "Mine."
The two kissed again after a pause and they held the kiss as they entered Ren's apartment, on the couch and even in bed as they laid down and both clapped their hands which turned the lights off.
"Wow you guys are not letting go." Roman said with a laugh.
"It's cute to see him finally with a girlfriend." Summer said.
Cinder sighed as she muttered "At least he's cute."
The sequence started with both Ren and Cinder yawning as they sat up from the bed then they were shown both brushing their teeth as Ren turned on the sink and they both spat in it, then they were shown drinking coffee as they stared in each other's eyes with love and clinked their cups as they took turns drinking coffee.
"Well this sure is wholesome." Nora said with a slight edge to her tone.
"I know right." Jaune said as he didn't notice Nora's glare "Good job Ren."
"Thanks." Ren said as he sweat dropped since he did notice Nora's glare.
"It's so cute." Ruby and Summer said at the same time.
"And he looks happier." Cinder said as she started to smile as well.
They were shown leaving the apartment with loving smiles.
"Morning neighbor." The neighbor greeted.
"Hey, how's it going?" Ren greeted back with a wave.
"Have a good day." The neighbor said back.
"Yep, he's definitely happier." Coco said.
"I didn't think Cinder could actually make someone happy!?" Roman exclaimed in shock.
Cinder rolled her eyes at his antics as a few laughed.
Ren's car started this time as they smiled at each other, then they were shown in class together as Ren tapped on his book.
"Pay attention at least." Glynda said with a frown.
"She goes to the same school as him?" Blake asked and Ilia shrugged.
They were shown eating together as Ren opened a can of soda.
"Loser!" The bully shouted as he threw a peach but they dodged it together.
"Ha! Not anymore loser!" Ruby shouted with a proud smile.
"Things are turning up for Ren." Yang said with a happy smile.
They were shown jogging together then they were shown showering together.
Qrow smirked and nodded "Nice."
Cinder blushed "Aren't we moving a little too fast?"
"I think this sequence doesn't care about time." Hazel said.
Nora was very annoyed by this one since she didn't like sharing what was hers.
Ren and Cinder were shown watching T.V together as Ren smiled at her and reached down, taking out a black box. He opened it which revealed a ring.
Everyone gasped in surprise at what he was about to do and some were hoping for the best.
"Will you marry m-"
"I wanna break up." Cinder said as she cut Ren off as he was speaking.
"What?" Ren asked in shock.
"Sorry." Cinder apologized awkwardly.
Everyone was shocked and jaw dropped at the revelation as Salem started laughing which earned her a few glares.
"Shot through the heart but you're too late, Cinder you give love a bad name!" Roman exclaimed as he held onto his chest.
"Shut up Torchwick!" Cinder shouted.
"Sorry Ren." Jaune said as he felt bad for his friend.
"It's okay Ren, you've got me." Nora said as she hugged Ren who sighed with a smile.
"This brings back memories." Taiyang said with a frown as this exact situation happened to him with Raven.
Raven coughed awkwardly as she avoided looking at Tai.
Ren was shown screaming in his car then he was shown opening a bottle of wine then pouring it into a wine glass but then he was shown walking the streets with the bottle in hand and then he was shown in a club, chugging down the wine.
"Ren no…" Nora said sadly.
"Oh god he's turned into the drunk!" Winter exclaimed as Qrow shrugged and kept drinking.
"You really broke the guy." Junior said as he was impressed by the power a woman has over someone.
"Well it wasn't my intention!" Cinder shouted in defense.
"He's just blowing off some steam, he'll get over it soon." Qrow said.
Ren was shown entering his apartment and throwing his keys back as the bounced off the door and he passed out in his bed.
"And that's why I don't date." Qrow said as if it was a matter of fact.
"Because you're scared of your heart getting broken?" Winter asked.
"What? Pshh! No! Why would you say something like that? I drink because I like to drink, that's all." Qrow asked as he stared at something.
Winter looked to see him staring at Taiyang and Summer and she finally got the picture. Winter sighed as she held his hand but he moved it and grabbed another beer bottle.
Now the sequence starts with Ren sitting up looking emptier than before as he kept the same look when he brushed his teeth, held his coffee, sat in his car, sat in class, peeing in the bathroom, getting a carton of milk thrown at him, jogging, showering and sitting alone at the movies.
"A hollow shell of his former self," Watts said "Well hollower."
"Yeah I don't think I'm gonna start dating anytime soon." Ruby said.
Taiyang grinned 'Thank OUM!'
"Again, sorry man." Jaune said sympathetically.
Ren sat and sighed for a few moments but then suddenly Yang, Nora and Blake popped up and kissed Ren on the cheek as they sat back down in the seats behind him.
"Aye!" Neptune exclaimed with a smile.
"Would you look at that!" Ironwood shouted with a smile.
"That's my boy." Jaune said as Ren chuckled.
Ren looked back at them in shock and then sat back to watch the movie as he looked at the camera and smiled.
Juandissimo and Cosmo poofed to the front as Juandissimo kept flexing and Cosmo looked disgruntled.
"What did you think!? Romantic like me, right?" Juandissimo asked.
"I don't know about you but it was interesting." Ozpin said.
"We at least know a little more about Ren." Pyrrha said.
"I mean I knew a lot more about him but whatever, sure!" Nora exclaimed.
"And you were right, relationships can end as fast as they start." Cinder said.
"But you didn't have to do the poor guy like that Cindy." Roman said as Cinder narrowed her eyes at him.
"Alright! Alright! You got your turn, now get out of here!" Cosmo exclaimed angrily.
Juandissimo smirked as he winked at all of them with one last flex "I will take my leave but your hearts will always remember, Juandissimo!"
"Out!" Cosmo shouted as Juandissimo laughed and poofed away.
Glynda smirked in amusement "Not your most favorite person I see."
Cosmo nodded as he sighed to calm himself down, soon enough he grinned at them as his wand poofed in his hands "Now that I'm in charge again, I can finally show you the one I wanted to show you."
"Which is?" Qrow asked.
"A funny situation with a substitute teacher!" Cosmo exclaimed with a laugh.
