Superman vs Doomsday AMV
Ruby was smiling from ear to ear as she let out a squealing sound.
"Argh! Why!? Why are you making that annoying sound, Red!? Roman exclaimed.
"Because! Heroes!" Ruby exclaimed.
"What?" Cinder asked.
"Ruby is a big fan of anything superheroes or heroes in general, they're the third most favorite thing to her." Yang explained.
"What's the first and the second?" Blake asked.
"Cookies and weapons." Yang replied as Weiss face-palmed and Blake chuckled.
"Is it true!? We're gonna watch one of us be heroes!?" Ruby exclaimed as Cosmo nodded excitedly and Ruby squealed in happiness "OOH! I hope it's me! Please tell me it's me!? Ooh! I'm so excited!"
"Didn't Cosmo say that this was gonna be sad too?" Sienna whispered.
Adam smirked "I might enjoy seeing this after all."
"Well what are ya waiting for!? Let's do this!" Cardin exclaimed with a grin.
"Backstory!" Cosmo exclaimed and some groaned as most sighed "Where to start…"
"Make it quick!" Ruby shouted.
"You're a team of superheroes that protect Remnant and one of you is basically a god among men but then a creature that rivals this god's power arrives and they have a mega awesome super battle for the sake of Remnant." Cosmo spoke quickly.
"Whoa! Way too much info!" Sun exclaimed.
"God amongst men?" Salem and Ozpin said in unison as they both glared at each other.
"Superhero teams!?" Ruby exclaimed.
"That does sound cool." Yang said with a smirk.
"This is gonna be awesome." Jaune said with a smile.
"Alright! Let's start it!" Cosmo stated as he teleported to his seat and started the dimension.
The dimension began by showing a woman holding a phone as she recorded a large human-like monster in a green suit "If anyone's watching this, send help! This monster's killing everyone!"
"Sure let's start this off on a bad note, that's a good sign." Summer said sarcastically.
"Relax mom, the heroes are gonna arrive to save the day." Ruby said with an excited grin.
"Ruby, being a hero isn't as fun as you think it is." Summer said.
"What do you mean?" Ruby asked in confusion "You get to save people and beat up bad guys, that sounds super fun."
Summer sighed "I think it's better if you just watched this if what Cosmo said was true."
The monster noticed her and started approaching her but luckily Hawkman, aka Fox, flew in from behind her with a mace sparking with electricity and hit the monster directly which sent it flying.
"Bird man comes in with the save!" Sun announced as Ruby and Nora cheered.
"He must be strong to send a giant thing like that flying." Taiyang stated.
"I think it's a set rule that all superheroes have to have some form of superhuman abilities plus their powers." Raven said.
"Makes sense." Qrow said, chugging down his beer.
"That thing is as big as you!" Tyrian exclaimed with a smirk towards Hazel.
"You're not wrong." Hazel said.
Fox flew by the monster and hit it downwards which sent it straight to the ground and crashing through buildings. By the woman arrived Batman, aka Ren, and Green Lantern, aka Cardin, flew next to him.
"Nice suit Cardin." Jaune said.
"Thanks…" Cardin said, it was still weird to him receiving compliments.
"I like the fact that it glows green." Velvet said.
"And that you can freakin fly!" Jaune exclaimed with a grin "Awesome!"
"Who's the dark and mysterious bat guy?" Yang asked.
"Don't know, but he looks cool." Nora said.
Blake blushed when looking at him 'Very cool.'
Suddenly The Flash, aka Ruby, ran up behind Ren as Fox flew in towards the monster that burst from the concrete and grabbed Hawkman then slammed him back and forth to the ground then he held Fox up and punched him with enough force to send him flying.
"Ooh! RIP Bird man!" Roman exclaimed at the beating Hawkman took.
"It's okay he'll bounce back and if he doesn't, there's still a whole team of heroes that can do the job." Ruby said enthusiastically.
'I wonder who that hero in red is?' Weiss thought with a hum of curiosity.
The monster was then shown lifting a school bus and throwing it directly onto a police car.
"Such strength…" Cinder muttered in shock.
"How strong is this thing?" Hazel wondered with a curious smirk.
Cardin was shown using his ring to hold the monster in place but it just glared at him and broke through the construct and while Cardin was temporarily blinded, the monster punched him but he was quick enough to form a protective ball as he flew through a water tank and through some buildings as he landed on the street but the monster followed as it jumped at him and brought down his fists which he blocked with a light construct.
"Now that's a cool power." Cardin said with a smirk.
"It's kinda like manipulating your aura to form constructs." Velvet assumed.
"It's more complicated than that." Cosmo said.
"Fascinating!" Watts exclaimed as he jotted down notes on the heroes.
"The problem remains though," Qrow said with serious tone "How long till your defense strategy fails?"
The monster kept punching the barrier as Cardin grunted until eventually one last strike destroyed the construct.
"Oh no!" Ruby exclaimed.
Velvet gasped as Cardin widened his eyes in fear of what happened to his super self.
The monster was then shown being struck by a red and yellow blur from all directions and as it tried to catch the blur, it was revealed to be Ruby as she kept striking the monster with Fox's mace from behind as she was too fast to be caught.
"Oh hello?" Harriet said as her interests were greatly piqued.
"Okay, who's the fast girl and how can I be friends with her!?" Ruby exclaimed excitedly.
"She sure is fast." Vernal said.
"Speed means nothing with durability of that caliber." Adam said.
Ruby moved to strike again but the monster anticipated it and hit her with a powerful right hook which sent her crashing to a building. The monster was shown attacking Ren as he dodged the monster and kept dodging when the monster threw a car at him.
"So three heroes down and bat guy is also struggling against him, is it safe to say we're doomed?" Roman asked.
"Have hope, we still haven't seen this god among men yet. Right?" Junior asked as Cosmo nodded.
Ren was shown shooting a grapple up to a building as he jumped on the window sills and onto another building as the monster crashed into the one he was just on. The monster was shown crashing through the building and facing Ren who flipped backwards and threw explosives at him but they did nothing but reveal the monster was in fact Hazel with yellow crystals sprouting from his body.
Tyrian laughed "So it was you!"
Hazel smirked "I suspected it but knowing that these super powered freaks don't stand a chance against me is all the more satisfying."
"Are those Dust crystals?" Jacques asked in interest.
"If so then how are they infused in his body and how is he still alive with that much energy running through him?" Willow wondered.
Ren was shown badly beaten but surviving as he stood on the side of a building as he contacted someone then Cyborg, aka Penny, was shown getting her arm ripped off as Hazel roared but Aquaman, aka Neptune, jumped on his back and stabbed at his chest with a trident but that did nothing as Hazel punched and kicked Martian Manhunter, aka Ilia, away and punched Neptune into a building.
"No way!" Yang exclaimed in shock.
"Three heroes at the same time and all of them did absolutely nothing!?" Weiss exclaimed.
"How powerful are you in this state?" Salem asked.
"I have no idea mistress." Hazel answered.
Salem nodded "Please reach this level of power soon Hazel, with you, nobody will stand in my way."
Hazel nodded with a smirk as Tyrian frowned in jealousy.
"Do I even have to ask why I was holding a trident?" Neptune asked.
"Dude…come on." Sun said with an amused smirk.
Wonder Woman, aka Pyrrha, arrived as she landed in front of Hazel and the two engaged in combat. Pyrrha blocked his hits and struck him with her own that sent him flying but she wasn't down as she landed on top of him and started striking him with her shield but he punched her and knocked her into another building.
"Woah Pyrrha's giving him a run for his money." Jaune said in shock.
Ruby grinned "There is hope! Take him down Pyrrha!"
"I hope my other version defeats this monster." Pyrrha said with a confident smile.
"This won't be easy." Glynda said with a worried sigh "But she's one of our newest and best students, so I do believe that she may defat him."
Pyrrha's ponytail was shown being undone as she took out her lasso as Hazel tackled her. Pyrrha was shown attacking with her sword as Hazel threw cars at her, she dodged one and cut one in half as she held onto one half and hit Hazel with it but it shattered and he grabbed her face and threw her to the ground as she bounced back. Hazel ran to her as he went for a punch and Pyrrha aimed to stab him with her sword but then it shattered as they collided and when Pyrrha widened her eyes in shock Jaune was shown running as he ripped his shirt open to reveal and S symbol.
"This is a really intense fight." Coco said.
Cosmo smirked excitedly 'The fight hasn't even started yet.'
"Pyrrha is really trying her best but he just won't go down." Weiss said in worry.
"But it looks like Jaune's coming in to the fray too." Pyrrha said in relief.
"Took you long enough." Ren said as he looked at Jaune who chuckled nervously.
"But what can blondie blue do?" Roman asked.
"We'll just have to see." Ozpin stated.
Jaune Arc, AKA Superman, flew towards the fight as Pyrrha was knocked back and Hazel jumped and crashed on top of her as he picked up her broken blade and aimed to stab her but two red lasers knocked him away and they were revealed to be coming from Jaune.
"Laser eyes!?" Saphron exclaimed as Jaune and her jaw dropped in shock.
"Dude! Arc! Your suit looks so cool!" Sun exclaimed.
"And when did you get so muscular?" Pyrrha asked in surprise with a blush on her cheeks.
"Y'know I didn't even ask," Nora said as she looked at Cosmo "What are their names?"
"Wonder Woman, Batman, The Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, Cyborg" Cosmo listed as he pointed at the Jaune on screen "And he's Superman."
"Superman? Sounds powerful." Hazel said with a smirk.
"And I'm guessing the monster's name is Hazel?" Watts asked.
"Nope, Doomsday." Cosmo replied.
"That sounds so badass." Mercury complained "Why wasn't I born with a cool name like Doomsday."
Salem smirked at the name 'Hmm~ Maybe I may name one of my Grimm that.'
Jaune was shown picking up Pyrrha who looked in pain and was seriously injured. He placed her down gently as he stood up to fight Hazel but Pyrrha held him back as he looked at her.
"Don't hold back, or he'll kill everyone." Pyrrha stated seriously as Jaune nodded.
"W-wait, she wants him to kill him?" Ruby asked in shock "Why? Isn't beating it enough."
"Red, you have got me fucked up! Killing that thing is the only way to save the world." Roman shouted.
"That's what I tried to tell you Ruby! Being a hero brings sacrifices and to sacrifice for the greater good, you have to be willing to do whatever it takes." Summer stated seriously as Ruby widened her eyes and looked back at the screen with shock clear on her face.
"Wait, he usually holds back? How strong is her?" Ironwood asked.
Hazel stood from the flames and roared as the two stood across from each other then dashed at one another which caused a clash as Hazel caught Jaune's fist and Jaune caught Hazel's fist which caused a shockwave that broke all the windows in the surrounding area.
"Holy!" Taiyang exclaimed with wide eyes.
"Just a simple shockwave from their clash did all that!?" Qrow exclaimed as Ozpin spit his coffee out.
"How powerful is this Jaune!?" Yang asked in shock.
"The god among men…" Cinder muttered with wide eyes.
"This fight is gonna be one for the history books." Coco stated as Yatsuhashi nodded.
The two were stuck in a power struggle and Hazel's strength was bringing Jaune down but he kept pushing on until suddenly Hazel's eyes started to glow yellow and he shot out his own heat vision which sent Jaune through a building.
"Wait what!? He didn't have that before! Did he have that before!?" Nora exclaimed in shock.
"Oh my god…" Willow gasped.
"He is…adapting as he battles." Jinn stated.
"What!?" Almost everyone shouted in shock.
"So you're telling us that he's getting stronger as he fights!?" Roman shouted and Jinn nodded regretfully.
"Well whoop-dee-freakin-doo! We're fucked!" Mercury shouted.
"N-no! Jaune will win! He has to win! He can beat it!" Ruby shouted.
"Yeah maybe she's right. He can kill-"
"NO! NO! NO! I mean beat him! Not kill him, we can solve this without killing anybody!" Ruby shouted.
"Newsflash kiddie, They said that Hazel was already killing people before the heroes got there! I think it would be best to kill the killer before he kills everyone else!" Cinder shouted but then looked at Hazel "No offence."
"All of it taken." Hazel growled.
"N-no…but he's a hero and…heroes don't…" Ruby muttered sadly.
"Oh Ruby." Yang said as she hugged her "It's okay, I'm here."
The top of Jaune's head was shown bleeding as a radio with a Superman figurine on top was shown in a car but then both Hazel and Jaune had taken their fight onto a bridge with people running around. Jaune was shown opening up a car to save a woman who smiled but then Hazel had thrown a car at him and he caught it before it crushed both him and the woman.
Ruby smiled at that but she still felt conflicted on whether that Jaune was gonna be making th right choice or not. She felt a hand on her shoulder and saw that it was Jaune smiling at her.
"Whatever happens, just know that even though we are the same person, we're still totally different people." Jaune said as Ruby smiled and nodded.
"Saving a civilian is truly heroic but that should not be your main focus at the moment." Ozpin stated seriously "Take out the enemy."
Jaune was shown being grabbed through the car as Hazel kept slamming him on the ground by the head as the woman looked away. Hazel punched him and he hit Hazel with his heat vision as the flew off by Jaune dragging him through the ground but Hazel grabbed Jaune and slammed him into a car then threw him into the back of a truck as Hazel picked up the truck's back and slammed it to the ground and did it again but Jaune broke through with heat vision which knocked Hazel back and Jaune picked up the remnants of the truck and started beating it onto Hazel but it shattered and Hazel dragged Jaune by the neck through the trucks back and slammed him into the side of the bridge column then sent two devastating kicks into Jaune.
Everyone's eyes were glued to the screen and they couldn't contain their shock and awe at the spectacle. Saphron was tearing up during the ordeal and Terra held onto her to comfort her while Adrien was watching the fight with a frown.
"Jaune…" Pyrrha muttered with tearful eyes.
"Oum will you ever go down!" Taiyang shouted.
"I could say the same about him!" Hazel shouted as he glared at Jaune.
"I'm just trying to protect everyone!" Jaune defended.
"I've never seen such a battle in my life." Whitley muttered with wide eyes.
Another kick sent Jaune flying into another truck but the Jaune was shown using the bridge to tie up and hold Hazel in place but he had escaped and as Jaune flew towards him, he held his hand out and grabbed Hazel by the hair and pulled him down which caused the bridge to collapse but shockwaves in the water showed the fight was still going as Jaune was knocked into the city past a crowd on a balcony as Hazel jumped after him and slammed him down the main square.
"So we can all agree this beats the Ruby vs Adam beat down right?" Yang asked.
"Yup." Everyone agreed in unison with jaws dropped.
Jaune was shown badly beaten as he leaned against a helicopter in pain as Weiss ran towards him and held him up.
"I've got you." Weiss said as Jaune looked at her.
"You've got me?" Jaune asked with a smile.
"You gotta call the cavalry." Weiss said in worry.
"I am the cavalry." Jaune stated.
"Oh~ So Jaune finally got the Ice Princess to start dating him eh?" Yang asked with a smirk as Pyrrha felt a twinge of jealousy at that.
Weiss stared at the screen and smiled softly "In that dimension at least."
"Alright cavalry, time to get back to work." Ruby said as she looked at Jaune.
"Ruby?" Jaune asked in surprise.
"Take him down Superman." Ruby stated as she smiled confidently at the screen.
Hazel roared as Jaune turned to see that Hazel was running towards them with an enraged roar.
"A true monster you've become." Watts stated.
Hazel frowned as he narrowed his eyes at his other self as the same thoughts ran through the mind of Cinder.
'Is this the price of power?' They both thought.
"I have to get back to work." Jaune stated with a glare as Hazel jumped at them.
The adults smiled at the focus and the mature and serious way he's dealing with the situation; this Jaune Arc was not a fumbling teenager. He was a man with a purpose, and that purpose is to protect everyone.
Jaune zipped back to the helicopter and heat vision'd off the tail as he flew back and hit Hazel which was powerful enough to launch him to the sky as Jaune followed with a punch through the clouds and as he went to slam him down, Hazel punched Jaune and grabbed him by his cape as he started head-butting him as they fell towards the city and as Jaune tried his heat vision, Hazel covered Jaune's face which caused the area to explode.
"Oh Oum! Is he okay!?" Saphron shouted in fear of the outcome of that explosion.
"Please survive this Jaune…" Pyrrha begged as she held onto their Jaune.
Jaune grit his teeth 'C'mon Superman! You can win this!'
Weiss was shown running with Oscar as he held a camera and they covered their faces from the dust cloud as a large crater was revealed.
"At this point it is impossible to tell who's the victor, though Superman has come from behind before." Weiss reported but then Hazel jumped out of the crater as Weiss and Oscar were pushed back by the shockwave.
"Just him jumping next to you can blow you away." Ren said with wide eyes.
"Get out of there Weiss!" Winter shouted.
"It's too dangerous!" Willow exclaimed.
"Oum if this thing ever came to Remnant then we wouldn't survive." Ozpin stated and Salem immediately started praying for it to happen.
"NOW'S NOT THE TIME!" Everyone shouted with tick marks on their forehead towards Salem.
Hazel was shown walking towards them as Jaune looked half dead already as he crawled out of the crater and flew towards Hazel through a large hall. They both flew at each other and both landed a hit on each other's faces as another shockwave occurred which destroyed the building and they were shown to be still fighting even then at a fist to fist brawl.
"Hazel's also tired, he's slowed down considerably." Ozpin stated as he analyzed.
"Good but Jaune looks like he can't take anymore." Saphron said as she feared for her brother.
"If he doesn't win then no one will." Ironwood said as he clenched his fists.
Hazel landed more blows on Jaune as another devastating punch to the gut sent him flying back. Suddenly a rock was thrown at Hazel and he turned to see a crying Weiss holding another rock in hand.
"Oh Weiss…" Willow said as she gasped.
"This must be causing her the mots pain." Weiss stated sadly.
"Brave of you to try but very stupid." Hazel stated as he ignored the glares.
Jaune was shown getting up one last time as he charged up one more flight and directed it at Hazel as it was a direct hit which snapped Hazel's neck as it twisted around all the way to his back as another shockwave erupted.
Everyone widened their eyes in shock as jaws dropped at the finishing move. Ruby bawled her eyes out as she stood up from her seat.
"YEAH!!!!!" Ruby cheered and everyone else started cheering in relief and joy at the win from Jaune.
Qrow and Taiyang picked up Jaune on their shoulders as they chanted "SUPERMAN! SUPERMAN! SUPERMAN!"
"Guys." Blake said but they ignored her and kept celebrating.
"Guys." Blake repeated but she was till ignored.
"GUYS!" Blake shouted and they all looked at her in surprise "It's still going."
"Wait what?" Qrow asked as him and Taiyang dropped Jaune.
The destroyed area was shown as the dust cleared and Jaune was shown hacking up blood with Hazel's corpse by him as he removed a blade that Hazel stabbed him in the chest with and fell to the ground. Weiss ran to him and held him with tears streaming down her face as Jaune looked up at her.
"Stay with me. Please stay with me!" Weiss begged.
Jaune groaned "That thing…is he…?"
"Yes." Weiss replied tearfully "You did it, you saved everyone."
Ruby fell to her knees with wide eyes "Superman…dies?"
"Shit!" Roman shouted as he kicked his seat.
"B-but he won?" Ruby asked in shock.
Cosmo poofed to the front as he played with his fingers nervously "So…what'd you think?"
"What did I think? WHAT DID I THINK!?" Ruby shouted as she glared at Cosmo "You made me cry, get happy and cry more in less than 7 minutes! I hate you an love you! This was the best dimension, Superman is the best superhero I've ever seen and you sir have so much to top on the next one!"
"Wow." Blake said.
"I know right." Yang said.
"It was amazing Cosmo, Jaune was a true hero in that one." Pyrrha said sadly.
"I'm happy that dolt found happiness but now he's gone…" Weiss muttered sadly.
"He may be gone but I doubt that it's gonna be long before another great hero shows up." Ghira stated.
"Yeah, for now they have all those other heroes. Sure they may be in the hospital for the next few…years. But eh, better than nothing." Roman said with a smirk.
Cosmo grinned "Well that's great! Superman is a great hero and I bet all of you will always remember him now!"
Everyone nodded with smiled on their faces though Salem remained neutral and Hazel was full on glaring at Jaune.
"So what's next?" Yang asked.
"Another epic fight." Cosmo stated which got them excited.
"Oh? Who's fighting this time?" Sienna asked.
"Oh no this person literally took the saying "You and what army?" way too literally!" Cosmo exclaimed with a grin.
