Baby Driver Opening Scene
"So Rubes, how's it feel to be an alien god?" Yang asked.
"I'm not a god, Yang." Ruby said with an eye roll.
Glynda scoffed "Were you watching what we were watching?"
"I wish I was a god." Roman said with a sad sigh and Neo gently pat him on the back.
"I'm actually glad that you have some restrictions with your powers." Summer said, looking at Ozpin and Salem.
"Not the best restrictions though." Raven said and the two shrugged nonchalantly at the comment.
"Even though I'm bound to a child, I still have control over said child." Salem said "I see that as an absolute win."
"Keep talking Salami, the Ace Ops love to hear about this kind of stuff." Ironwood said with a smirk.
"It's true." Vine said with a calm smile.
"You have no idea how many of you guys we've caught." Elm said.
"We're thinking of starting a show even." Harriet said.
"What show?" Pyrrha asked.
"To catch a Hunter." Clover said.
"Okay! No more wasting time, my friend's gonna be here soon and I'd like to make you guys watch as much stuff before he gets here." Cosmo said.
"Who exactly is your friend?" Ozpin asked.
"Not important!" Cosmo exclaimed, teleporting to his seat "Time to watch."
The dimension started by showing a red car pull up across from a bank and inside, someone pressed play on their Scroll to play some music. The music started up as Sun, wearing headsets and sunglasses, looked at Hazel who was also wearing sunglasses and chewing gum as he stared back at Sun.
"It's about me this time!? Heck yeah!" Sun exclaimed.
"What am I doing associating with a child?" Hazel asked with an irritated look on his face.
"Rocking some decent shades, that's what." Coco said with a smirk.
"I'm getting a bad vibe from this?" Velvet said.
"How bad?" Yang asked.
"As in dangerously bad." Velvet replied.
"Nah, that's just Hazel's ugly mug." Tyrian said and in turn, Hazel glared at him.
Roman was shown in the back as he also wore sunglasses along with Neo who smirked at him.
"You're in a car with a bunch of murderous psychopaths." Blake said.
"Geez man, what'd you do?" Ilia asked.
"I have no idea." Sun said.
"It looks like you guys are planning something." Jaune said.
"Aw, shit. Here we go again." Roman said, knowing what was happening.
In tandem with the music, Hazel, Roman and Neo exited the car, in matching outfits mind you, and opened the trunk, taking out duffel bags. They walked towards the bank as Sun stayed in the car while they raised up their masks to cover up their faces.
"Ah crap! It's, it's," Sun let out with wide eyes.
"A bank robbery." Blake finished.
"And you're the goddamn getaway driver!" Neptune exclaimed.
"You better have some skills behind the wheel kid." Roman advised.
"I've never even rode a bike before! Much less driven!" Sun exclaimed.
"You never may have but that Sun is a different story." Coco said.
Roman, Hazel and Neo entered the bank as Sun turned to look at the front.
"OHHH!" Sun let out as he sang along "Oh… oh! Oh! OH!"
"Seriously?" Cinder asked with a look of disappointed disbelief.
"Take this seriously!?" Hazel shouted.
Roman chuckled "We're screwed."
"I've been around Sun for a while, not surprised he'd do something like this." Neptune said.
"You'd do it too." Sun argued.
"Well duh." Neptune agreed.
"Ahhh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Baby… Ohhh! To catch the whole…Kingdom of Vale…Ha…Explosion." Sun sang along, playing with the various accessories in the car along with drumming to the beat and emulating the violin chords but then stopped when a police car raced past him.
"I see no problem with this, just a dude vibing to his music." Qrow said with a shrug.
"Well he needs to stop and stay focused on the task at hand!" Hazel stated.
"Chill, big guy. If the kid knows what he's doing, then he can do whatever he wants for the time being." Roman said.
"Yeah, bank robberies are supposed to be fun." Neo wrote.
"What even led him to do something like this?" Glynda asked.
"Same thing that leads people to do a lot of things." Jacques said with a shrug "Money."
The sudden shouts and muffled screaming from within the bank drew his attention as Hazel fired a few shots in the air and Sun looked unnerved at the sight as he dipped his sunglasses to get a better view of the chaos inside but then put them back on when Roman entered a room with the others and shut the door.
Hazel scoffed "I knew it, he's just a kid who has no idea what he's doing."
"Have a little faith, I'm sure he'll surprise you." Roman said but then he looked at Sun and whispered "Please do a good job."
"I hope the people inside weren't hurt." Terra said and Saphron rubbed her shoulder.
"Hopefully not." Saphron said.
"Thank you very much ladies and gentlemen, right now I got to tell ya 'bout…The fabulous, most groovy…Belladonna!" Sun voiced along as the bank alarm was rung and he started the car as Hazel, Roman and Neo were leaving the bank "Belladonna!"
"Belladonna?" Blake asked.
"Belladonna." Yang said with a nod.
"Belladonna." Nora said with an agreeing nod.
"Belladonna!" Sun exclaimed in affirmation.
The music started to pick up as Sun changed gears and the robbers entered the car. Hazel pointed forward to go but Sun surprised and reversed, turning the car in a sleek motion.
"You're really testing my patience kid." Hazel said with a growl.
"Nah actually, if you paid attention then if he went the way you pointed the you would've been going towards the direction of that cop car." Roman explained as he smirked "Like I said, the kid knows what he's doing."
"On the bright side, you can drive now." Ruby said.
"No DMV for you, you lucky bastard." Qrow cried and Winter rubbed his back.
He drifted into an alleyway then into another street, avoiding cars left and right as a police car turned and started chasing their car. The stoplight turned red and Sun shifted gears, drifting past the incoming cars and causing the police car to crash into another car.
"He can drive! Ha! Ha! Yes!" Roman cheered as Neo waved her arms in the air.
Hazel jaw dropped as Salem chuckled "Careful now, you'll catch flies."
"Should I be cheering for this? He is running from the law after all?" Weiss asked.
"If it's awesome then screw the law!" Ruby exclaimed.
"Didn't expect her to say that." Taiyang said in surprise as Summer looked at her in shock.
"Eh, she's part pirate. I think it's a given." Qrow said with a shrug.
Sun drifted to the right and into another street as another cop car started chasing them. Everyone inside the car was looking at him with mixtures of nervousness and shock but he remained stoic and determined.
"I've never seen you so determined." Weiss said in surprise.
"This is a side of you I'd never thought I'd see." Glynda said in equal surprise.
"I can get focused." Sun said with an eye roll.
"Too bad it takes a literal bank robbery to do so." Summer said.
"Like I always say, crime makes you learn things, good and bad." Roman said.
"That's dumb." Weiss said with a scoff.
"He isn't technically wrong." Clover said.
Sun continued to increase his speed as the cop car was gaining on him until he suddenly turned a corner with a drift then raced past a truck and turned a corner, blocking the cop car with the truck.
"I'm never playing a game of tag with you again." Neptune said.
"Ha! Ha! You can never catch me!" Sun laughed.
"He's as crafty as a…" Cinder tried to say.
"Cheeky monkey?" Roman asked and Cinder nodded.
"Woah! Woah! Woah! WOAH!" Hazel shouted as he saw another truck pull up and they were about to hit it.
Sun shifted gears and the car did a 360 degree turn, avoiding the truck and anything along the way then continued on to a busy street, drifting onto a highway as another cop car led chase.
"Holy mother of drifters! You're amazing kid!" Roman exclaimed.
"How did you even reach that level of skill!?" Oobleck exclaimed in shock.
"I don't know but I wanna learn!" Sun exclaimed with a grin.
"If you reach that level then hit me up, we can turn Vale upside down man." Roman said.
Sun noticed the car behind him and the other car driving up on the left and the officer that threw a spike strip in front of him.
"Now we got 'em." Ironwood said with a smirk.
"Don't count your chickens before they hatch, is what my aunt says to me." Oscar says.
Sun did another spin and the back tire moved the spike strip in front of the other cop car, causing it's tires to pop and come to a halt as he avoided another car.
"Your aunt is very wise." Ozpin said with a smirk as Ironwood let out an angry slew of curses.
"This kid's driving is seriously unmatched." Taiyang said as he was impressed.
Sun raced past a car and did a hard drift onto another road but multiple cop cars were behind him this time.
"That's some 6-star level amount of cops right there." Yang said.
Sun drifted onto another road as the cop cars followed suit and he switched to another lane as one of the cops tried blocking his way but this lane was much busier.
"Sun, you're officially the drifting king." Nora said with wide eyes.
"Unmatched and untouchable! It's good to be at the top, baby!" Sun bragged with a smirk.
"Just don't let it go to your head, monkey boy." Blake teased with an amused smile.
He spotted two red cars driving side by side on the opposite lane and he immediately switched lanes, driving up to the cars and starting to match their speed as a helicopter flew overhead.
"Smart." Vernal commented.
"Can he pull it off though?" Sienna wondered.
They drove under a bridge which blocked the helicopter's view and Sun immediately switched positions with the left car and now he was on the left and it was on the center.
"Sun! You absolute legend!" Ruby exclaimed in awe.
"Dude, you're amazing!" Jaune exclaimed.
"What about the car in the middle now?" Whitley asked.
"They'll most likely investigate it but I doubt anything bad will happen to them." Ironwood said.
"Damn, he really pulled it off." Vernal said, now impressed.
Sun drove up to another lane as the helicopter continued to follow the other two cars as Roman smiled and pat Sun on the shoulder.
Roman smiled and pat Sun on the shoulder which made the young man grin.
Sun drifted into another streets and turned into a small alley as a cop car passed the end of the alley and he slowed down but luckily wasn't spotted.
"Close call." Emerald said.
Mercury sighed in relief "Too close."
Sun turned into an underground parking lot and slowed down as he drove up the levels until he parked the car.
"So what now?" Ruby asked.
"Cover your tracks." Roman simply replied.
They all got out of the car and got into the car next to it, driving out of the parking lot with Neo driving this time.
The screen darkened as Cosmo poofed to the front and most of them started clapping for the impressive showing.
"So what'd you think?" Cosmo asked with a grin.
"One word," Blake said with a dramatic smirk "Belladonna."
"Belladonna!" Yang stated.
"Belladonna!" Jaune stated.
"Belladonna!" Sun stated with a smirk of his own.
"Kid has amazing skill and I'd love to see what his story is." Roman said.
Hazel scoffed as he muttered "It wasn't that impressive."
"I just loved how it went, I love how impressive people can be with cars anyway." Winter said.
"The shades also brought a sense of style to it too." Coco said.
"You can't tell me the kid ain't got powers when his headset stayed on the entire time! That was the true miracle." Taiyang said and some chuckled at that.
"Well, I'm happy you liked it because this next one is gonna be funny and cool!" Cosmo said.
"Really now?" Glynda asked interested.
"Yup! Let's just say, no one does it better than them." Cosmo said with a hearty laugh.
