It was dodge ball night for the Talons of Peace under the mountain (Brightest Night Tradition), but the Talons of Peace had no dodge balls to play with.
So Kestrel picked up the nearest round thing, which happened to be the MudWing Egg, and hurtled it at Webs.
CRASH! The moment it collided, a baby MudWing popped out from it.
The MudWing immediately rushed to pick up the other eggs to join in the action.
That night, Clay was declared the indisputable champion of Brightest Night Dodge Ball, and all the other Dragonets of Destiny were now hatched.
And that's how Clay became known as The Monster.
