Virgil Ovid Hawkins (Static) 17- A high school student in Dakota City. As a result of accidental exposure to an experimental mutagen in an event known as the Big Bang, he gained the ability to control and manipulate electromagnetism, and uses these powers to become the superhero "Static". Countless others who were also exposed also gained a wide variety of mutations and abilities, and Static spends much of his time dealing with these "Bang Babies", many of whom use their abilities in selfish, harmful, and even criminal ways. . Static has the metahuman ability to project, channel, generate, manipulate, and absorb raw electromagnetic energy, mainly being able to generate electricity from his body and fire powerful lightning bolts from his hands. He can generate electromagnetic shields from his body in order to protect himself from bullets, lasers, energy blasts, and other projectiles, and he can also generate repulsion fields that repel virtually anything. Richard "Richie" Osgood Foley / Gear 17– Virgil's best friend and confidant. At first, he merely provides support for his friend, making gadgets for him and helping to cover for Virgil to protect his secret identity. Later it is revealed Richie's passive exposure to the Bang Gas gave him super-intelligence and technopathic abilities, which enabled him to easily invent rocket-powered boots and "Backpack", a highly intelligent multipurpose device worn on the back capable of surveillance and other semi-independent activities as well as the power to control and manipulate technology. With this equipment, he became a superhero named "Gear" and becomes Static's full-time partner in crime-fighting. Demeter Osiris Proserpina Nevrakis/Ceres 17- Demeter is the son of the notorious eco-terrorist queen of the Green Poison Ivy and is, Gifted with exceptional powers he has demonstrated a plethora of abilities he has near mastery and dominion over the forces and elements of Nature who can harness and manipulate the forces of nature He was born with the power to tap into the very heart of the Earth itself, an extremely powerful god-like ability to be able to conjure and manipulate natural elements in the world Earth, Air, Fire, Water Quintessence (Life Energy) and Finéssence (Death Energy) though which he can command the forces of nature on Earth, such as storms, volcanic activity, summon rainstorms, hurricanes, tidal waves, earthquakes, make strong gusts of wind. Francis "F-Stop" Stone/Hot-Streak 18- Hot-Streak is a hot-headed and wisecracking bully at Dakota Union High School who was the leader of one of the gangs that took part in the gang war that would later erupt into the "Big Bang", during which he acquired pyrokinetic powers. Taking the name "Hot-Streak", he serves as Static's first rival and maintains this rivalry with him throughout due in part to their prior history before the Big Bang however he has a change of heart trying to change for the better though he still has major issues Francis comes from an abusive household especially his father who beat and abuse him because he was an omega not an Alpha as expected and because he was bang baby in the beginning Francis simply had pyrokinetic powers however much to his current dismay his powers have evolved to geothermal powers are pyrokinesis and Geokinesis, meaning he is able to manipulate fire and earth. These grant him control over tectonic plates, even to the extent of causing seismic upheaval. Francis's powers allow him to be so in-tune with the Earth, he is able to sense seismic activity and prevent earthquakes before they happen. he can also call forth molten rock from the Earth's core, producing projectiles composed of lava, or miniature volcanoes. A strict but caring and genuinely understanding parent, he dislikes gangs and the destructive attitudes of most Bang Babies, and his work at the community center is motivated by a desire to counteract their bad influence on young people. Sharon Hawkins 23 – Virgil's older sister, Sharon attends college, but she still lives at home. She volunteers at a hospital, and counsels young people at the Freeman Community Center. While they do argue frequently, Sharon and Virgil really do care about each other and are quick to come to the other's defense if one of them is in danger. After their mother died, Sharon took it upon herself to act as the woman of the house, including when it comes to allocating chores between her and her brother, not least of all the cooking (which, at least according to Virgil, Sharon is not all that good at).like her father she is a Beta
Adam Evans/Rubber-Band Man 24 – A meta-human transmorph, whose body structure consists of shapeable rubber. He is the younger brother of Static's archenemy, Ebon. Rubber-Band Man first appears as a tragic villain when he goes after an opportunistic record producer who stole one of his songs. He subsequently breaks out of prison but decides not to pursue a criminal career, however. He and Sharon eventually start dating, with Sharon helping Adam turn over a new leaf. He and Virgil initially clash, but Virgil comes to accept Adam's relationship with his sister, and they become allies in crime-fighting, with Adam even becoming like an older-brother figure to Virgil. He was thought to be a Beta, but he was a late bloomer and turned out to be an Omega who quickly becomes part of Static's pack/Heram

Ivan Evans/Ebon 26 – The head of a large group of Bang Babies called "The Meta-Breed". Ebon is an unusually powerful meta-human. As a living shadow, he is able to create inter-dimensional portals and can manipulate pure darkness and shadows, as well as transport others to various locations of his choice. Ebon was a self-proclaimed master of shadow and darkness. After being affected by the Big Bang, Ebon became a living shadow, able to flatten against any surface and move silently and speedily wherever he wanted. He could glide along walls, slip under doors and through cracks, create portals to a location of his choosing, and travel from one shadow to another, as well as absorb other people or objects, carrying them with him. He also possessed inter-dimensional powers, allowing him to disappear in one spot and reappear in another, using this power to kidnap his victims. Ebon also had the ability to shape-shift his physical body, capable of shaping himself anyway he wants, much like his younger brother, although Adam preferred to use his powers for good, unlike Ebon. He is an cruel sadist alpha who abuses his position as pack Alpha
Shiv 19 -Shiv is an eccentric and immature member of the Meta-Breed with the ability to form "light energy" constructs from his arms and hands, which he can form into blades and other weapons. Shiv is somewhat sadistic, and perhaps even psychotic, taking great pleasure in harming others. He also has a passion for video game Although a capable fighter, Shiv is rather incompetent and reckless in other respects. While robbing a store with Talon and Carmen-Dillo, he decides to play video games rather than help them. In addition, he usually never manages to land a hit on Static. As mention Shiv had the power to form light energy-based constructs from his hands. His signature attack is turning his hands into blades, sharp enough to cut through steel. In addition, he can also form grappling hooks, boxing gloves, bo staffs, a large bird cage, a ping-pong paddle, buzzsaws, large wheels for locomotion, and shurikens. As an omega he is in an abusive relationship with Ebon who beats him and sells his boady when he wants to his beast friends with Talon and Hotsteak
Talon 17- real name Teresa is a teenage Hispanic member of the Meta-Breed who resembles an anthropomorphic bird and possesses wings that allow her to fly, her namesakes on her hands and feet, and a hypersonic shriek. Embittered over her transformation, she aids Ebon and the Meta-Breed till she got fed up with Ebon and Join Statics pack as he proved to be a better Alpha Talon was a metahuman whose exposure to the Big Bang transformed her into a humanoid bird, resembling a mythological harpy. Her most notable attributes include a set of wings, extending from her armpits to her forearms. Offensively, Talon was able to emit a focused, destructive hyper-sonic shriek, similar to that of Black Canary. Talon is beta and in a relationship with Aquamaria her best friends are Shiv and Hotstreak who she is extremely protective of.
Aquamaria 19- A Hispanic Bang Baby who was transformed into a hydrokinetic being of living water, though she lacks the ability to change back into her human form. Due to her transformation, she left behind a mother and sister to join Ebon's Meta-Breed, only to be defeated by Static and arrested by the authorities. Aquamaria possessed water-based powers; her body became water and she could flow through cracks, around opponents, and generate smaller quantities of extra water to blast enemies with. Additionally, she could control or absorb existing water to gain mass or create sudden floods and , with water being an excellent conductor, she was extremely vulnerable to Static's ability and could be defeated with a single electrical current. Her weaknesses also include extreme cold. A beta she was dating Talon
Maureen Connor / Permafrost15: A mentally-ill preteen who was left homeless following her mother's death and her step-father's desertion. Following the Big Bang, she gained powerful cryokinetic abilities Maureen grew up in a torn-apart home, with a sick Omega mother and an uncaring Alpha stepfather who beat and abuse her and her mother. Her stepfather abandoned them on Christmas Eve, and her mother died from medical complications quickly after. Running away from a child services agent, she spent the night in the cold. She lived in the repair depot of the cable car company, with other homeless people. She occasionally came to Reverend Anderson for meals. When she was caught in the Big Bang, she gained the power to manipulate, and be impervious to, the cold. With her powers, she planned to ruin families, as her own family had been ruined. Ebon found the girl and has manipulated her into to due his bidding the youngest of the group she is an omega
Ferret 23: A Bang Baby with an elongated muzzle that grants an enhanced olfactory system and clawed digits. Due to his lack of combat prowess and offensive abilities, he allies himself with more powerful individuals such as Hyde's short-lived Rough Pack, and Ebon's Meta-Breed Ferret gained an unparalleled sense of smell, and sharp claws which facilitated climbing. Beta might be an omega.
