Chapter 2
Cloud looked at the knight " what do you mean , troubling news " He said. Sonic took a seat " Me and Elise discovered something is sealed inside Chris " He said. Chris thought back " Black and Blue hedgehog " He said. Sonic watched as Chris took a seat near him. Sonic hugged Chris " yes his name i wont share but if you cry you will unleash a being know as Iblis " He said. Chris nodded trying to stay strong thinking back to the accident. He remember the white haired guy with the sword was about to kill him.He remembered the flames came out of him.
His parents and the car were killed by the sword but he caused the fire.He ran into the bathroom He looked in the mirror thinking " should i say something " He heard a knock on the door. " Its Tifa are you okay Chris " She asked. He placed his hands on the sink and took a breath. He opened the door. " I am fine Tifa , but " He said.
Chris had flames surround him " I can use Iblis power " He said. Tifa hugged Chris as he finished his demonstration of the power " that dosen't change how much we care about you Chris Throndyke" She said. Chris felt happy and hugged Tifa back.He walked back with Tifa and chuckled as Cloud and Sonic were in a drinking contest.
Tifa smiled at Chris "mind helping me and Marlene in the kitchen" She asked. Chris nodded and entered the kitchen.He started helping Marlene peel the potatoes. He smiled at Tifa's cooking and smelled the pot roast.Denzel entered and cut the potatoes into fires. Tifa placed the fires in the oven with the roast to finish it off.
Cloud and Sonic smelled the finished meal.Sonic smiled as Elise entered and kissed him on the lips." My knight did you inform Chris about Iblis " She asked. Sonic stood up and bowed " I did and he took it well " He said.Sonic kissed Elise back " by the way , since we have time lets all have dinner together " He said. Cloud nodded it was fine as Denzel and Chris carried out the food and placed it on the table." Lets eat " Cloud said.
After dinner it was late at night. Chris had trouble sleeping and went outside. He saw a black and blue hedgehog bow to him. He took a step back as the hedgehog grabbed his hand. " Sonic would not share my name Chris throndyke " he said. Chris nodded remembering he didn't know how to fight. " What's your name Hedgehog " He asked. " Mephiles that's all you need to know come with me and i can teach you how to use the flames of Iblis " He said. Chris slapped his hand away and turned around " No , Mephiles " He said going back inside. " He heard a whisper " my offer is always open Chris " He said.
Chris went back to his and Denzel's room. He fell asleep on his bed.Denzel woke up the next morning hearing the sounds of an airship.Chris felt himself being shaken awake.He got up and nodded thanks to Denzel.He and Denzel walked downstairs and saw Marlene outside." Wow an Airship " She said as Chris and Denzel joined her.
The highwind landed near a church. Denzel and Marlene raced Chris there. Chris almost reached the airship first but got distracted noticing Mephiles watching. He smiled as Cloud , Tifa , Sonic , and Elise got off the airship." Now then who is ready to travel the world starting with " Costa del sol " He said. Chris jumped on the rope ladder " yup by the way Sonic , the hedgehogs name is Mephiles " He said.
Sonic sighed " well I guess that something we have to talk about " He said. Tifa nodded " from what you told us on the way here after getting the highwind Chris needs to learn how to fight " She said. Chris reached the deck followed by Denzel and Marlene.Cloud climbed up last " now then to my villa " He said. Chris had a questioning look " hun did not expect that " He thought. Mephiles watched as the highwind took off and jumped on board as it passed.
