Chapter 3
Mephiles roamed the airship and found his way to the engine. He thought about what he could do to cause chaos. He kept staring at the engine as he head a sword strike. He saw it was cloud as he dodged. Mephiles chuckled as he dodged each strike.Cloud stoped as Mephiles was in front of the engine.He noticed Mephiles was holding a book and read Clow Cards. He saw Mephiles take out a card from the book.
He heard Mephiles saw something under his breath.Cloud noticed he was in Mephiles body and used the switch card to take his body back. Cloud slashed his sword as Mephiles dodge and the cards were destroyed. Cloud blocked the energy attacks Mephiles sent his way.Cloud noticed both of thier attacks slowed down. Mephiles ran past him hiting cloud from behind. Cloud passed out and woke up with an ice pack on his head.
" Were in Klam Cloud " Tifa said. Cloud felt the pain in the back of his head. " What happened to Mephiles and the airship " he asked.Tifa nodded and sighed " we had to land , were in the inn at Klam " She said. Cloud nodded noticing Chris , Denzel , and Marlene weren't there as he sat up. Tifa sat on the bed "they went to see Yugi motto " She said. Cloud kissed Tifa on the lips and took a breath " Sonic is following them " He asked. Tifa kissed his check "of course"She said. Cloud smiled and fell back asleep.
Meanwhile Chris , Denzel , and Marlene walked through the village. Chris smiled noticing Sherry come up to him and kissed him on the check.She noticed his family wasn't with him. " Where are you parent's Chris " She asked. Chris looked away as Sherry realized. She gave Chris a big hug. " Sorry to hear that stop by my house later and we can have a date " She said.
Chris blushed as she entered her house. Denzel placed his hand on Chris's shoulder " Does she have a sister " He asked. Chris nodded no as they reached Yugi house as he worked in his garden. Meanwhile Mephiles broke into Sherry's house.
He looked around noticing research on a virus in Sherry's dads home office. He heard movement upstairs and heard Sherry's voice and a boys voice. " Sis have you seen Pikachu " Ash asked. Sherry nodded no walking into the hallway.She turned the corner and met Mephiles eyes.She was frozen with fear as she fainted.Mephiles caught her and fled throu the open window.
Chris , Denzel , and Marlene were siting in Yugi's living room.Chris took a sip of his soda. Denzel was drinking some orange juice. Marlene was drinking some tea. Chris was shocked noticing a brick fly throu the window.He saw Yugi pick up the note " Join me or Chris thorndyke's girlfriend is in trouble" He read.
Yugi walked over to Chris and handed the note.Chris took the note from Yugi's hand and read the note.He stood up " Mephiles "He shouted. Denzel dropped his orange juice.Marlene stood up " Lets go find Cloud , Tifa , Sonic , or Elise " She said. Chris and Denzel nodded following after Marlene.Chris bumped into a boy.He noted the hat and Pikachu." Ash , your sister is in trouble " He said. Ash took a step back and followed after Marlene , Denzel , and Chris.
Mephiles watched as everything fell into place.He walked in front of Ash and waved a pocket watch in front of him.He put Ash into a deep trance. " Report to me once they have a plan , Just like Yugi will do as well " He said. Ash nodded in a trance state and followed after Chris , Denzel , and Marlene. Pikachu looked at Mephiles and followed Ash.
Meanwhile Sherry was asleep , She heard footsteps. She woke up and noticed the door to her cell open. She saw a silver Hedgehog. " Hello Sherry , I am here to make sure you live so the iblis trigger isn't unleashed. Sherry nodded following Silver as she found an emerald on the ground.
Meanwhile Chris followed Denzel to the inn they were staying in. " I can't believe we got separated from Marlene and Ash " Chris said. Denzel nodded as Cloud and Tifa went flying out of the window. Chris realized the three were in a duel. " I see Cloud and Tifa are using cards based off of them , but Yugi is using normal duel monster cards " he said.
Denzel nodded as the two stayed hidden. Denzel then noticed Marlene in a duel against Ash.Denzel and Chris both watched the madness before standing up.Chris rushed to the duel of Tifa and Cloud. Denzel ran to Marlene's side. Chris prepared to duel as did Denzel. " Now then let the duel's begin" Both said.
