Chapter 5
Tifa watched the airship as the crew disembarked. She nodded for Denzel and Marlene to follow. Denzel stayed behind them while boarding the airship. Marlene noticed costumes and such. " Um Tifa since this was my idea why aren't I taking the lead " She asked. Tifa took a breath placing a finger by her mouth. Marlene nodded understanding the signal to be quiet. Denzel noticed a boy asleep with a sword next to the couch.
Denzel snuck over and grabbed the sword. Denzel noticed the boy wake up. He watched as the boy sat up. " The name is Chris Tribal " He said. Denzel nodded noticing Chris stare at the Sword. " Denzel " He said. Chris sighed noticing Tifa and Marlene hiding behind a crate. Chris nodded for the three to follow him. Denzel , Tifa , and Marlene noticed standing in front of the controls a man after following Chris. Chris looked at the three " That's Baku leader of the tantalus theater troupe , Side note were also thieves " He said.
Denzel pointed the sword at Chris " Wait , What " He said.Baku laughed at the situation. " So Chris , What's up with these three who sneaked on board " He said. Chris yawned " I haven't asked but I think they wanted to steal our airship " He said. Baku nodded " anyway Chris shouldn't you be helping prepare for the show " He asked. Chris scratched his face and walked away. Baku nodded for the three to step forward. Tifa walked in front of Denzel and Marlene " Some of our friends are in trouble and we need to catch up to that airship the highwind to save them from Mephiles and his allies " She said.
Baku rubbed his chin as Chris was bringing costumes outside. " Chris dose Zidane still have that other airship " He asked. Chris placed the costumes down and walked over " Yes Baku , Zidane and Blank used it to head to the gold saucer " He said. " All right , thanks Chris get back to work " He said. Chris nodded leaving after taking the costumes.Baku was wondering , weather or not to help them. Tifa took a breath " So may we borrow your airship Baku " She asked. Baku gave a thumbs up and took off fastly with the airship. " Lets begin the search for the highwind " He said. Tifa , Marlene , and Denzel nodded thanks.
Meanwhile Chris thorndyke , Cloud , and Sonic the knight were on a river chocobo , mountain chocobo , and a gold chocobo.Chris saw the airship take off and noticed Marlene , Denzel , and Tifa and a pilot. Chris got off his Chocobo and saw the people standing around. " Who all are of you " He asked. " The tantalus theater troupe " Chris tribal said. Chris nodded and got back on the river chocobo and went on the sea. He kept the airship in his sights.
He noticed Cloud on the gold Chocobo following behind him. Sonic on the mountain chocobo went back for elise and then tried to follow everyone.Elise chuckled " maybe you should have looked for a different chocobo Sonic " She said. Sonic sighed noticing a cat flying in the air. " I have the answer my love Elise " He said. " A trip to the new location of the Samurai pizza cats " she replied. Sonic nodded as they reached the pizza place.
Sonic got off the mountain chocobo and helped Elise off. Sonic noticed the future avengers eating pizza. He walked over " Makoto , Chris thorndyke's girlfriend is trouble and our friends " He said. makoto looked to Adi and Chole " Sure we will be happy to help " He said. Sonic nodded thanks while taking a seat at thier table. Elise petted the mountain chocobo " Will catch up soon everyone " She thought.
Meanwhile Baku caught up to the highwind. Mephiles went to the deck of the highwind and saw Tifa zip line over by herself. "Hello Tifa , came alone I see " He said. She entered a fighting stance " Of Course to protect Marlene and Denzel " She said. Mephiles smirked and took a breath and entered a fighting stance as well. Tifa rushed forward as Mephiles dodged her strike. Mephiles kicked her in the back. Tifa went flying into the rail as Mephiles was about to push her. She noticed he fell over out of the corner of her eye. She turned around and saw Denzel holding a frying pan and hugged him.
Meanwhile Marlene searched the airship of the tantalus theater troupe. She entered was a meeting area and found a payment to them from Mephiles. She gulped " this is not good , they are working for Mephiles " She thought but then found a letter. " We refuse , because we have preformed from Chris thorndyke's family in the past " She read. She then heard an explosion from the high wind and ran to the deck. She saw the airship falling to the ground. " Tifa and Denzel " She screamed as the wreckage landed in an oasis.
Tifa and Denzel broke out of a box and swam to the surface of the oasis.Tifa noticed Mephiles siting under a tree. " How did you survive " She asked as Denzel stayed behind her.Mephiles stood up " its simple , we escaped before you boarded the airship " He said. Tifa thought for a second " I see you made a copy of yourself like Vivi that's a friend of Denzel " She said.
Mephiles nodded ready to fight " Ash and Yugi went on ahead " He said. Tifa looked to Denzel to run and ran towards Mephiles with a kick to his face. Denzel ran and tripped over a ball witch had five stars on it. He picked it up and kept running. Mephiles changed forms " now then lets fight for real " He said. Tifa jumped back to dodge the wave of dark energy he leet out as a burst attack. " I hope everyone gets here soon " She thought dodging more strikes.
Meanwhile Chris and Cloud on chocobo's arrived at Tails cabin and saw it destroyed.Chris and Cloud got off the gold and river chocobo's. Chris saw a charm bracelet , he gave her on the floor and picked it. He took a breath fearing the worst and fell to his knees.Cloud noticed a plane took off. " Chris , I am sure everyone's fine , lets follow the footprints following the plane.
Chris nodded as Cloud followed the tracks and found Sherry , Tails , and Silver. Chris ran and hugged sherry " What happened " He asked almost crying. Sherry smiled and kissed Chris lips. " Its simply , we had a run in with my brother Ash and Yugi " She said. Tails sighed " they stole the chaos emeralds " He said. Chris heard the dragon raider beeping." Well lets use the dragon balls to get them back " He said.
Silver sighed " No just no Chris " He said. Tails thought about it " its seems like the right move , time to find the dragon balls " He said. Silver screamed " Fine but one wish only no more then that " He said. Chris took the dragon raider and begin to look for the dragon ball.He then noticed the direction " I see the samurai pizza cats have the dragon ball , lets go and get it " He said.
