Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Danny Phantom. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Danny Phantom is created by Butch Hartman and aired as an American animated action adventure television series by Nickelodeon in 2004.
"Hey Danny," said Tucker.
"Hey guys," said Danny tiredly.
"Strange dream again," asked Sam.
"Yeah," said Danny.
It was a school day that Danny met up with his two best friends. After the strange talk with Serena, Dash, Kwan, and Hotaru yesterday, Danny immediately ran to out the door towards Tucker's house, where he wasn't surprised to see Sam there as well. He was immediately checked over for injuries, and when they didn't find anything, Sam was all but demanded Danny to tell her and Tucker what happened. Danny told them all he COULD tell them, and it was not much. Sam, however, curled her hand into a fist in frustration as Danny still wasn't telling them much, and although it is a new day, Danny didn't tell them anything except telling them that he had another weird dream, just not the specifics of said dream. "Can't you tell us SOMETHING," asked Tucker.
"Sorry guys," said Danny sheepishly, "It feels like I SHOULD, but not the right time, you know?"
"No," said Sam with anger, "I don't know because you don't TELL us anything."
"Sam," questioned Tucker wearily.
"And if you won't tell us things," said Sam who ignored Tucker, "Then, why don't you just hang out with your NEW friends. Maybe they'll also help you fight gh-…"
"Sam," yelled out Tucker who stopped her form saying Danny's secret.
Sam, who was still glaring at Danny, turned around and stomped off to her class. Tucker and Danny just watched her go to class. When Danny turned to Tucker, he could tell that Tucker was conflicted. On the one hand, these were his TWO best friends, but on the other hand, he feels as though some… THING… was stopping him from revealing too much to them until a certain time. It felt like the ghost and his mentor Clockwork's doing as well, but it felt a bit more… POWERFUL. "Tuck," questioned Danny.
"I'm with you," said Tucker, "But, Sam DOES have a point. We've been together for how long? And now you aren't talking about what's bugging you, man."
"I'm sorry," said Danny with a sigh, "I just… I feel like some… THING… is making me NOT reveal anything to you two until a right time."
"A right time," questioned Tucker, "You don't think it's Clockwork, do you?"
"No," said Danny with a shake of his head, "It feels a bit more powerful than Clockwork's doing."
"Then, if you can't tell us, I'll respect that," said Tucker.
"Thanks, Tuck," said Danny.
The two boys smiled at each other before heading towards their class, where Sam was still seething in anger. Sam huffed as she turned away from the two boys because in her eyes, Tucker agreed with whatever Danny told them and won't question about it at all. Tucker sighed as he saw Sam like that as he took his seat. Danny gave an apologetic look to Tucker before sitting at his own seat. It wasn't until the teacher came in and, with a sarcastic voice, said, "Well, well," said the teacher, "Glad that you are on time, Mr. Fenton… for once."
"Ugh," groaned Danny as he sunk into his seat just a bit in embarrassment.
"Anyways, class," said the teacher, "We have two new students joining us today, and all the way from Tokyo, Japan! Isn't that exciting?"
"Japan," mouthed Tucker to Danny who shrugged at him.
"Please welcome Raye Hi(sound like a short i vowel)-no and Minako A-i(sound like a short i vowel)-no," said the teacher who was slowly pronouncing their names.
"It's Re-ee." said a female voice, "Rei Hee-no."
"And Minako," said another female voice, "Mi-na-co A-ee-no."
"Thank you, ladies, for correcting my pronunciation," said the teacher.
There, at the door, were two girls who smiled at the teacher in front of them. One had straight long black hair and purplish eyes. The other had blue eyes and blonde hair, a simple red bow in her hair. Both girls were wearing simple tees, except the black haired-girl was wearing a red one while the blonde girl was wearing an orange one. The red tee had the symbol for Mars while the orange tee had the symbol for Venus, both symbols resting on their right breast. Both were wearing jeans and matching colored sneakers to go along with their tees. While Tucker was drooling, Danny gaped in surprise because the two girls had the SAME names as the people in his dreams, the looks were the same too! Danny, with the hidden surprised looks from Tucker and Sam when they turned to him, was looking at Dash and Kwan to also see recognition on their faces. All three boys faced each other and nodded together, indicating that they WOULD be talking about this during lunch. The class, as a whole, turned back to the front when the teacher asked if they had any questions for the two girls. "Yes, Ms. Gray," said the teacher.
"What's it like in Japan," asked an African-American girl that had long, curly hair and dark green eyes, Valerie Gray.
"Oh, it's fantastic," said Rei.
"Especially if you can get a glimpse of the Sailor Senshi," said Minako with fake enthusiasm in her voice and fake stars in her eyes, "My personal favorite is Sailor Venus."
"And mine is Sailor Mars," said Rei with a glare to Minako.
"Who exactly is the Sailor Senshi," asked Tucker with his hand up.
"An excellent question," said the teacher before turning to the girls, "Will you please explain?"
"Of course," said Minako as she turned to the class, mostly looking at Dash, Kwan, and Danny, "Sailor Senshi are our heroes in Japan. They are magical girls who use elemental powers from a planet that are their namesake to fight off evil."
"Evil beings who take over the universe," said Rei with piercing purplish eyes, "These evil use monsters known as Youma to take energy away from us human beings and give it to whoever they work for, making those evil beings more powerful."
"Recently, our city is still cleaning up some damage left by the Sailor Senshi's final battle against something known as a Daimon," said Minako, "Monsters that use a black beam to puncture your body and pop out something called a Heart Crystal, your soul so to speak."
"But, since the Sailor Senshi defeated the monsters, we have been rebuilding slowly," said Rei, "And, that is why we, along with our friends, are here. We were transferred into a foreign exchange program and were lucky to still have schooling after that disaster."
The entire class were fascinated by what Rei and Minako were saying, but everyone in the school were because in each class, including Serena and Hotaru's class, four other individuals were telling their story to their class on why they were here and who the Sailor Senshi were. Hours passed until it was lunch time that Danny, who pulled Tucker with him, was looking around the lunchroom to see if he could find Serena and Hotaru. Spotting them just walking outside to the picnic tables that the school had for outdoor lunch eating, Danny, with Tucker, briskly walked out of the door and followed Serena and Hotaru to the far picnic table that Tucker, Sam, and Danny never sat at. "Hello~, beautiful ladies," said Tucker.
"Danny," asked Hotaru with mirth in her eyes, "Who is this?"
"This is one of my best friends, Tucker Foley," said Danny, "Would it be alright if he… um…"
"You want him into the know-how," asked Serena.
"Yeah," said Danny, "I want Sam in as well, but… uh…"
"She's angry at Danny," supplied Tucker.
"And, I feel like it's the right time to induct Tuck here," said Danny.
He knew it was a weak excuse, but in his gut, he really DID feel like it was time for ONE of his friends to come into the fold. Maybe Tucker can find more information about these so-called Sailor Senshi the new girls were talking about too. Danny took a peak at Hotaru and Serena to see that they were conversing silently with their eyes. Tucker looked surprised that they do the same thing that Sam and he do whenever they had a silent conversation, too. Sometimes, he and Danny would have that eye contact conversation as well. It didn't take long for Serena and Hotaru motioning both of them a seat on the opposite side of them, indicating that they agreed that Tucker would be given information. "Foley," exclaimed Dash as he and Kwan saw Tucker and Danny moving to sit across from their little sisters.
"H-Hi," said a nervous Tucker.
"Fenton," growled Dash as he turned to Danny.
"I-I… felt like it was a right time to tell Tuck about SOME things," said Danny.
"Geez, buddy," said Tuck with a smirk on his face, "Some things?"
"Yup," said Danny.
"And, we feel as though Tucker will help with OUR dreams," said Serena with a pointed look, "You know, the one where Hotaru and I were dressed in those funny outfits?"
"Fine," grumbled Dash as he sat down in wherever free space was at the table.
From there, Tucker was given information about how Serena and Hotaru were dreaming about something called a past life where they were dressed in Japanese sailor outfits and very short skirts. They also explained the powers they both had, Serena glowing silver while Hotaru glowing lavender. Tucker took the information all in as he produced his PDA and started to type these information in. "So, what about Danny's weird dreams," asked Tucker, "Does this have anything to do with HIS? realization settled on his face Dudes, are you ALL having past life dreams?!"
"Fenton," said Kwan, "Foley is a quick person, isn't he?"
"Yup," said Danny with pride in his voice, "That's one of my best friends!"
"But, wait," said Tucker as he recalled something and interrupted Kwan and Danny's side conversation, "Why were you three weirded out when Rei and Minako came in?"
"Rei and Minako," asked Hotaru cautiously.
"Yeah," said Dash, "There are two new girls who… well… you know."
"B-But, we had two new girls who called themselves Ami Mizuno and Makoto Kino," confessed Serena.
"What," exclaimed the three boys, Tucker being left out.
"What," asked Tucker, "Why are you all bugging?"
"Well, you know how you realized we were dreaming of a past life," said Danny.
"Yeah," said Tucker, "But, I don't… wait a minute! You mean, those girls were IN your dream?! Dude! I want to have your dreams if you are dreaming about beautiful ladies."
Danny gave a deadpanned look to Tucker while Serena and Hotaru stifled their giggles. They never knew that dreaming about a past life would make their lives more interesting, especially when Tucker was introduced to them. It seemed as though Tucker actually fit right into the group. Maybe he was also part of their past life as well? Well, time would tell as the girls settled in while Dash and Kwan held themselves back from being overprotective. Their little sisters were also part of those dreams too, and what Tucker said really fired their overprotective big brother instincts. "Don't even DREAM about it, Foley," growled Dash.
"Our little sisters were in THOSE dreams too," revealed Kwan.
"O-Oh," said Tucker as he shied away from the two football players, "My bad. turns to the girls Sorry about that too."
"No worries," said Serena, "Just help us find some pictures of the Sailor Senshi and we'll call it even."
"Pictures of the Sailor Senshi," asked Tucker, "Why?"
"Because they MAY be a part of what is happening to us," said a serious Hotaru, "Besides, those new girls were talking about Sailor Senshi, so might as well gather information on them."
"And," said Serena, "The name Sailor Senshi sounds awfully familiar."
As everyone nodded into finding as much information they could about the Sailor Senshi, they didn't notice seven girls looking at the table in longing. Those girls were the Sailor Senshi in civilian form and were itching to just go over there to finally have their Princess back as their friend. However, they knew that it wasn't the time. They would catch all five of them in due time. Before they could continue to eat, a screeching sound came from the sky. Everyone, teachers and students alike, stopped eating to look at the sky to see a glowing… humanoid vampire bat?! "Energy," said the bat-like figure, "Give me your energy!"
"Chikushō (Japanese swear word)," spat out Makoto as all of the Senshi saw the glowing Youma.
"I-Is that," questioned Minako.
"Luna told me about this Youma," said Ami, "This is Kyurene, a Youma that Usagi fought alone before we all were given our henshin pens the first time."
"So, our enemy has started to appear," said a weary Michiru.
"And may be trying to end koneko's life if she SEES her," said Haruka with narrowed eyes.
"Mina," said Setsuna, "Do NOT let Kyurene see our hime."
"Ryōkai (Roger that)," said everyone before they quickly ran to hide and transform.
As the Senshi ran quickly to hide, Tucker and Danny gave an excuse to find Sam. They didn't need a ghost bat, though humanoid in nature, to attack. They were just surprised that it looked really like a humanoid bat in the sky. Serena blinked when she saw the monster, but before she could do or say anything, Hotaru, Dash, and Kwan dragged her away, letting Danny and Tucker to sneak off to find Sam. She really think that she had a sense of déjà vu when she saw that creature. It didn't help that when she turned back while being dragged by Hotaru to safety, she saw Tucker taking out a tub of lipstick? while Danny had a bright white light cover his midsection before moving up and down his body to reveal… Phantom?!
AN: So, this is how Serena/Usagi will know Danny's other secret, ne? (⌒▽⌒)A Youma from the past coming back as a semi-ghost to terrorize the people. Whelp~! Next chapter, I'm having Danny as Phantom meet and fight alongside the Sailor Senshi while Tucker takes pictures and show Dash, Kwan, Hotaru, and Serena, which will somewhat jog Hotaru and Serena's memories a bit. I don't know when Serena will confront Danny about his secret though. ┐(´д`)┌ Though, I hope you like this one! Happy reading and see ya next chapter! |∀・)ジ
