Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Danny Phantom. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Danny Phantom is created by Butch Hartman and aired as an American animated action adventure television series by Nickelodeon in 2004.
"I can feel that SPECIAL life energy," mumbled Kyurene, "But, where is it?"
The past Youma, Kyurene, was glowing otherworldly as she scanned the crowd of running teenagers. Her master, with the help of another, revived her as a semi-ghostly Youma and was sent to find that particular life energy. Usually, when she and her fellow Youma used to be sent out, it was to collect life energy to revive their Mistress, Metalia-sama, to the living once more after being defeated by the hands of that Moon Kingdom's queen. She, now, was acting like her Youma-like self, commanding the crowd to give her their energy like before. But, her true intention was to find the life energy that her master wanted, which was the energy of the Moon Princess. Kyurene, however, wasn't expecting a DIFFERENT hero to appear. "Hey… uh… bat," called out a male voice, "Isn't it too sunny for you to be out and about?"
"Who," called out Kyurene.
"Boo," said Danny as he appeared right in front of the bat-like creature.
"W-What are you," questioned Kyurene.
"Just your friendly neighborhood ghost," said Danny with a shrug, "And you?"
"Kyurene," said Kyurene.
"So… Kyrene, is it," asked Danny.
"It's Ku-yu-re-ne," said Kyurene with a glare.
"Right…," drawled out Danny, "Anyways, any particular reason why you are attacking my hometown?"
"I need life energy," said Kyurene who was now evilly smirking right now, "And yours will just do! Especially, if you have the same energy that brought me back to life!"
With that, Kyurene extended her fingernails and launched towards Danny. Danny, who was surprised by the attack, dodged quickly. Kyurene didn't let up though as she kept on attacking with her extended fingernails. It wasn't long that Kyurene turned and used her bat sonic wave towards Danny. Wincing at the sound, Danny covered his ears before Kyurene started to swarm him with bats of her own creation. Danny could feel the bats draining his energy while he glared at Kyurene for potentially draining his strength away. Kyurene was about to finally end Danny's existence with her fingernails, but a blast from somewhere knocked her away from him. Danny turned to Tucker's hiding space inconspicuously, but Tucker had a surprised and confused look on his face. It wasn't until… "Stop right there, Kyurene," shouted a female voice.
"Nani," called out Kyurene as she looked around, her bats still swarming Danny.
"Protected by Mercury," said the appearance of a Japanese sailor outfitted female that was mostly blue in color, "The planet of water… guardian of wisdom… I am Sailor Mercury!"
"Protected by Mars," said the appearance of a Japanese sailor outfitted female that was mostly red in color, "The planet of fire… guardian of war… I am Sailor Mars!"
"Protected by Jupiter," said the appearance of a Japanese sailor outfitted female that was mostly green in color, "The planet of thunder… guardian of protection… I am Sailor Jupiter!"
"Protected by Venus," said the appearance of a Japanese sailor outfitted female that was mostly orange in color, "The planet of beauty… guardian of love… I am Sailor Venus!"
"The Inner Guardians are here," said the Inners together.
Danny and Tucker both looked in awe as four of the Sailor Senshi came out from the shadows. Tucker was still hidden, and when Mercury appeared, he opened up the video settings on his PDA to record everything. Maybe that will help jog Serena and Hotaru's familiarity with these colorful dressing people? Kyurene, however, looked at the Inner Senshi in anger. She couldn't believe that she had to deal with the Sailor Brats once more. Kyurene finally ignored Danny and, to an extent, Tucker, as she faced her bane of existence. "Sailor Senshi," growled Kyurene, "What are YOU doing here?"
"We could be asking you the same thing," called out another female voice.
"More Sailor Brats," exclaimed Kyurene in disbelief.
"Protected by Uranus," said the appearance of a Japanese sailor outfitted female that was mostly in navy blue, "The planet of the heavens… I am Sailor Uranus, guardian of flight!"
"Protected by Neptune," said the appearance of a Japanese sailor outfitted female that was mostly in sea-green, "The planet of the deep sea… I am Sailor Neptune, guardian of embracement!"
"Protected by Pluto," said the appearance of a Japanese sailor outfitted female that was mostly in maroon, "The planet of space/time… I am Sailor Pluto, guardian of revolution!"
"Answering the new threat," said Uranus, "The three guardians of the outer planets are…"
"…Here to fight for this world," said all three of them.
Kyurene growled once more as she saw that with the so-called weaker Senshi, the Outer Senshi came to fight as well. She knew that her master told her about the Outer Senshi awakening, but to witness it? Kyurene knew that she was going to die soon. However, she was lucky to have Danny's energy as one of her bats flew towards her with said energy. Kyurene smirked evilly as that bat just landed and waited for the right time to act. The Senshi, however, looked apprehensive at Kyurene, for they didn't know ANY information besides the use of ghosts by an unknown evil. "So, we ask you ONE more time," growled Uranus, "What are you doing here?"
"Ah, Uranus," said Kyurene who ignored the question, "I heard from sources that you were quick to anger."
"Answer Uranus, Kyurene," growled Jupiter.
"Yare, yare (Good grief)," said Kyurene, "You girls… always so demanding. But, since you are here, then you must know that I am here to collect energy. evil smirk here One in particular."
"Hime (Princess)," gasped out Mercury.
"Bingo," said Kyurene, "I know SHE is here. I felt her energy, but I can't seem to find her."
While the Senshi and Kyurene were talking, Danny gently floated towards Tucker unnoticed. He still felt the draining sensation from Kyurene's bat attack. Tucker was still recording the battle, but he stopped once he saw Danny landing next to him to hide. It seems as though Danny Phantom was not needed for this fight. However, he would be on standby just in case. Tucker looked at Danny before asking quietly, "Dude, you alright? You don't look so good."
"I feel like I just ran a marathon, but I didn't even DO anything," said Danny quietly, "It felt like the first time I fought the Lunch Lady all those years ago."
"Well, bud," said Tucker quietly, "Sit tight and regain your energy. Who knows? Maybe you'll help out the Senshi?"
Danny just nodded his head before both turned back to see Kyurene glowing… green?! It seems as though Danny's energy was being transferred to Kyurene's body by the bats that collected his unique energy. Kyurene had an evil smirk on her face as she grew slightly from the energy before flying down to attack the seven Senshi. The Senshi, on their part, dodged before summoning their own attacks. Danny and Tucker looked on in surprise as water, ice, fire, lightning, and other elemental attacks were thrown at Kyurene. However, those attacks gave a nudge at the back of their minds that they HAVE seen those attacks before. Kyurene dodged most of them by using ghostly energy, but some singed her wings when the Senshi did a sneak attack as others distracted Kyurene. Growing her fingernails once more, Kyurene started on the offense by attacking… Mercury. "Mercury, abunai (watch out)," shouted Pluto as she pulled Mercury away from the fingernails.
"Arigatō (Thank you), Pluto," said Mercury.
"Do you know what that energy is," asked Jupiter.
"Īe (No)," said Mercury, "It seems as though this energy is something new."
"And it is quite… delicious," said a smirking Kyurene.
"T-Then, we don't know HOW to defeat her," asked a shocked Neptune.
"Mars, try using Akuryo Taisen," commanded Venus.
Kyurene growled as she heard what Venus wanted Mars to do. Oh, she remembered that attack quite well during the Silver Millennium. Most of her fallen Youma allies fell victim of that accursed paper. Kyurene yelled out that she wouldn't let Mars do that, but the Senshi gave a start when a green energy blast hit Kyurene in the stomach. Kyurene yelped out as the blast connected, leaving her to clutch her stomach in pain. The Senshi turned around just to see Danny floating up, a smirk on his face. "Hey, bat-lady," called Danny, "You forgot about me?"
"You," exclaimed Kyurene, "I thought I got rid of all of your energy!"
"You would be wrong," said Danny, "Well, part wrong. The air around here has some sweet ectoplasm that regenerates us ghosts, but you wouldn't know that since you STEAL people's energy."
"Argh," cried out Kyurene, "You'll pay for interfering, boy."
It wasn't until Kyurene heard the familiar chanting from Sailor Mars. Turning around, she cried out as Sailor Mars finally finished her chanting and threw an ofuda (amulet) at her. The ofuda landed straight in front of Kyurene's face, straightened out, and froze Kyurene in midair. Danny whistled at the power of the ofuda and would try to remember NOT to anger the person that could potentially freeze him in midair. Looking on, the Senshi finished Kyurene off with Uranus's Space Sword. All of them could see Kyurene crying out before slowly disintegrating back into Moon dust, a ghostly bat in its place. Danny blinked before pulling out… "Is that a soup thermos," asked a bewildered Uranus.
"It's a containment for ghosts," said Danny as he opened the thermos and captured the ghostly bat by a blue-white light.
"Interesting," said Mercury.
"So… you are the Sailor Se-en-shee," asked Danny who tried to pronounce the last part.
"Hai (Yes)," said Neptune, "And, you are a… ghost?"
"Yup," said Danny, "Your friendly neighborhood ghost at your service."
"What did you mean that the air was saturated with… ecto-plasm," questioned Mars who tried to pronounce the word.
"Well, since this IS the most haunted place in America, ghosts are always popping up here," said Danny, "They also leave a slight transparent trace of ectoplasm, which is what we ghosts are made of."
"So, you SAY you are friendly," said Uranus skeptically.
"Yup," said Danny, "Anyways, what does hi-me mean?"
"In English, it means Princess," explained Mercury.
"So… you all are here to find your missing Princess," asked Danny.
"Hai… I mean… yes," said Venus, "She and our fellow Senshi, Saturn, have been missing, and with this new enemy that is bringing back our enemies with… uh… ghost energy, apparently…"
"…You need those other two to help fight," said a realized Danny.
"Yes," said Pluto.
"Well, I have to go, but I'll be on the lookout for your Princess," said Danny.
Before the Senshi could ask Danny how HE came to be and about the news articles, Danny flew away towards an abandoned alleyway to transform back into Danny Fenton. There, he met up with Tucker who stopped recording and snuck away when Danny was questioning the Sailor Senshi. He just forgot to ASK the Senshi on HOW this Sailor Saturn and their Princess looked like before flying away from the Senshi. The Senshi, on their part, looked at each other and sighed. "It seems as though we can trust this… Inviso-bill, ne (right)," asked Venus hopefully.
"I don't know," said Uranus before huffing, "Besides, how can we trust him if he flies off before we can question him?"
"He also forgot to ask how Saturn and our Princess look like," pointed out Mercury.
"Exactly," said Uranus, "How can he help if he doesn't even ASK us for a photo… or anything?!"
"Well, we just have to hope that he will be helpful in our fights against our new enemy," said Neptune.
"Did you see how a ghostly bat was left after Kyurene was finished off," asked Mars, "D-Does this mean that the enemy is combining the past Youma with ghosts?"
"We need more information," said Pluto, "And we NEED to find Aeolian, Gaels, Klarios, Saturn, and hime."
"Ryōkai," said the Senshi.
As the Senshi left to de-transform back into their civilian forms and away from prying eyes, Danny and Tucker were walking to meet up with Hotaru, Serena, Dash, and Kwan. They were going to show them exactly HOW the Sailor Senshi looked like and their powers through Tucker's video of them. It wasn't until Danny stopped and smacked his forehead in the middle of the sidewalk. Tucker raised an eyebrow, questioning him with a look. "I forgot to ask the Senshi on HOW this Sailor Saturn and their Princess look like," exclaimed Danny.
"Well, there's always next time, buddy," said Tucker, "But, let's take this one step at a time."
"You're right, Tuck," said Danny, "Let's go find the others. The girls are going to get a kick out of this!"
"And Dash and Kwan," questioned Tucker.
"Yeah," said Danny who rubbed the back of his head from forgetfulness, "Those two, too."
- With Serena And Co. –
"Serena," questioned Hotaru, "You have a confused look on your face."
"I'm fine," said Serena, "I just thought that when I turned around at that moment… shakes head Never mind."
Hotaru, Dash, and Kwan looked at Serena questioningly, but Serena just shook her head once more. She couldn't have seen Danny turn into Phantom. Besides, that was a quick turnaround before she tripped and hit her head on the sidewalk, Dash, Kwan, and Hotaru yelping in surprise before helping Serena up from her fall. 'If Danny IS Phantom and I am NOT seeing things,' thought Serena as all four waited for Tucker and Danny to find them, 'I'll keep quiet unless absolutely necessary.'
AN: Well, it seems as though Serena believes she DIDN'T see Danny's secret. |_-｡) Though, she's not going to confront Danny on that either. ^.~ Anyways, I'm not that great with battle scenes, so I hope that I did well on this one.
