This is the latest chapter, and I'll be adding a famous quote or two depending on the scene. Also I've been watching many shows including Steven Universe Future. After doing one chapter I take a week off to let the brain cool down. We all understand that meaning right? The brain needs to relax every now and again.
Intro: The Screaming death opens its eyes and breaths fire as the Autobots in vehicle mode and Dragon Rider drive and fly out of the flames, Optimus Transforms into Robot mode as he and the other Autobots and Dragon Rider with Weapons. In the Autobot base the Dragon Riders and Autobot partners who transforms into vehicle mode fly/drive out into the Ground Bridge. Alvin with an axe, as Dagur on the right throws an axe, and Savage fire two crossbows, the Screaming Death rises from the background and flies towards Optimus, Hiccup and Toothless who charge, the trio and Screaming Death charge into each other Optimus punches it, DreamWorks Dragons Defenders of Berk and Hasbo Transformers Prime; Beast Hunters.
Out in the open ocean, where the tall islands are, the Dragon Riders and their Autobot companions are training.
As the arrogant young Viking rides his monstrous Nightmare, he says to his dragon: "Come on Hookfang, is that all you got? If I wanted a slow, lazy dragon, I would take Meatlug or Fishlegs." The dragon high roars, his eyes are droopy and his scales are pale. Once a bright red, now light brownish red.
The Dragon Riders and Autobots have gathered in a circle on a random island in the first clearing they came upon. They are waiting for Snotlout to meet them there. Snotlout, however, is flying around s he continues to horse around with his dragon.
Hiccup asks. referring to his cousin: "What is with him?" Bumblebee adds: ("Yeah, he's acting stupidly, crazy. More than usual.") The young female Viking answers, turning to her boyfriend. "I hear ever since Alvin and the Whispering deaths attack, he's been training non-stop."
Arcee adds her thoughts to the conversation.: "In my opinion, he is definitely pushing his limits, which wouldn't be hard." Fishlegs also adds: "I heard he's been flying all ight for the past week. Ratchet adds his concerns: "If that's true, then he's pushing Hookfang too hard." They turn to the twins, the male twin says, not relating to the conversation, " Well, I heard a goat can debone a yak just by looking at it." The female twin adds in an excited tone: "I hear if you sit on a terrible terror, you have flames come out your..."
Astrid interrupts: "Whoa, what does this have to do with Snotlout?" The Twins looked at each other with a confused look, but, did not respond to Astrid's question. Then Tuffnut replies: "Oh, I thought we were playing the I heard game." But, by the way, that terrible terror thing, totally true." Bulkhead says to the Twins: "Guys! I told you that in complete confidence." He said I and embarrassed tone.
On the beach head, Snotlout and Hookfang land, and the Monstrous Nightmare is exhausted. He falls down and his tongue is sticking out.
Snotlout says: "That's right! You just saw what you just saw! He kissed both of his muscular arms. Hiccup and Ratchet notice something is wrong with Hookfang. Hiccup says with concern in his voice: "Snotlout, Hookfang looks pretty tired. Think you might be pushing him too hard." Snotlout replies: "You say pushing, I say challenging." Ratchet disagrees with Snotlouts statement. "I don't think so. He look worse for wear. Last week he was bright red, now he is brownish red." Snotlout, ignoring the medic: "What do you know? You don't know how Dragons or Humans work. Besides, Hookfang doesn't need rest. He is a warrior. And warriors live for the thrill of the battle. It's like my Dad always says..." Before he quotes his father, Astrid interrupts: "Take a bath Snotlout." Arcee adds: "Don't forget to brush your teeth Snotlout." Bumblebee adds: (Don't forget to take out the trash") Ruffnut says: "Rip your tongue out, Snotlout?" Tuffnut adds lastly, "Stick your head up a Yak's..."
Snotlout interrupt in an irritated tone: "No, no, no and no. None of those. He say 'rest is for the weak'." He said questioning his Fathers form of philosophy.
The Dragon Riders and Autobots were confused by that form of philosophy. Hiccup says in a sarcastic tone: "And let's all thank Snotlout for the inspirational speech." Snotlout takes it a compliment and replies: "You're welcome. now let's get on with this exercise. Unless you guys are too tired." He said mockingly at the end of his sentence as he and Hookfang fly onward.
Astrid says her opinion: "I can name one thing I'm tired of." Arcee with her arms crossed, says in disgust: "You and me both. If you ask me, it's amazing the Louts can fit in their helmets with egos that big."
In the sky, the Dragon Riders rode on their Dragons. Hiccup says to the riders: "Ok guys, Alvin wants Burk for himself, and Arachanid wants me, Toothless and Arcee heads for trophies. Now the have Dragons. If Alvin can train them to fight, we'll have to battle Dragon Riding Outcast soldiers up here." Tuffnut questions: "Up where? Here?"
Hiccup states the obvious: "In the sky, on your dragon." Snotlout arrogantly says: "Well, I say bring them on, Alvin."
Hiccup sighs and says to the Riders: "OK Astrid, for this training exercise you and Stormfly will act as or bad dragon." Astrid pats her dragon and says to her: "Stormfly, battle ready." So they pull back behind the Dragon Riders. Hiccup says to the rest: "The rest of you make sure you don't get caught. If she catches you, you're out." The other Dragon Riding Viking youths fly right to begin the exercise, Astrid chases after them.
On the island where they are practicing, Optimus says to Team Prime: "Autobots, since Arachnid has allied herself with Alvin. I have placed numerous of arachanid themed traps hidden on the Island. Your mission is like our Dragon Riders, avoid being caught by Astrid and Stormfly, are we clear?" They nod yes. "Autobots Rollout!"
Fishlegs and Meatlug along with Ratchet in robot mode are sided by side going through the forest. Fishlegs looks over his shoulder, to see if they are being followed. Fishlegs over confident, says to Meatlug and Ratchet: "Now that is how a highly maneuverable bolder class Gronckle can do. Good gril!" Ratchet on the other hand tends to believes its to early to celebrate. Ratchet says with concern in his voice: "Don't get over confident Fishlegs, we're not out of the woods yet. Literally speaking." They continue to go through the forest until Ratchet is caught in a net and spike shots hit in front of the large body of Vikings and dragons forcing them to stop. Astrid says: "I looks great from up here."
The spikes came from Astrid flying over them. The net fell from a tree that fall on top of Ratchet. She pats them on the back, "You're all out." Fishlegs says to his dragon: "Don't let her get you down Meatlug. You still have the biggest heart out here. And Ratchet you were right." Ratchet struggling to get out of the net replies: "You're welcome. Now help me out of this net." Hiding in the bushes are the twins, Ruff and Tuff. Tuffnut says to his sister: "I told you this would work." Ruffnut agrees as she laughs: "Yeah, she's staring right at us and doesn't even know we are here." Bulkhead also agrees with them. He is covered in mud and green moss, plus a few leaves. "Yeah, hiding in plain sight. We are completely invisible."
Even though the twins and Autobot wrecker had an ingenious plan, there was a small flaw. They neglected their backside being camoflauged and hidden. Astrid sees them and she raid her dragon walk up to them and taps them as she says; "Out, out and out" While Bulkhead realizes this, the Twins don't know they are out. Tuffnut whispers: "Who's she talking to?" Ruffnut replies: "Can't be us." Bulkhead groans s he slaps his face for the Twins not realizing they are out. Astrid and Stormfly fly off to continue the hunt.
Bumblebee, in vehicle mode drives through the forest along with Arcee,who is also in vehicle mode. As they drove, Bee asks Arcee: ("Any sign of Astrid or Stormfly?") Arcee replies: "No, but if I know her, she's not the type to give up. And is quick on her feet. And, if I know Stormfly, she's tracking us as we speak." But then a rope grabs Arcee front wheel, and it hoists her up into a tree. Before Bee could react, he falls into a hole that's big enough to hold an elephant.
Astrid on Stormfly, sees the two Autobots and taps them. "You're out Arcee, and you too Bee." Both groan, in the situation they are in. So Arcee transforms into robot mode and cuts herself down then help Bee out of the hole.
High in the sky, Hiccup on Toothless and Astriid and Stormfly are flying behind them catching up. Astrid, over confidently says to Hiccup: "You might as well give up now." Hiccup sarcastically replies: "Wow! You sound just like Alvin now." They flew until the see another island and a rock wall with a tunnel opening. Hiccup says to his dragon. "Come on bud. Lets see how well she does when the lights go out.
So the Viking Prince and Black scaled dragon flies into the cave that leads into a tunnel. The female warrior knows the Prince and says "Huh, Hiccup, so practical." So she follows him inside.
Hiccup and Toothlessone ahead. Hiccup says to his dragon. "Toothless, you know what to do." So the Night fury use his echo location to search through the dark.
As the Viking Prince and Night Fury fly through the tunnel, flying right behind them are Astrid and Stormfly, who is using her fire to light the way. Hiccup replies about Astrid's plan. "Astrid, is so predictable.
As Astrid and Stormfly continue to chase Hiccup and Toothless through the cave, the Night fury hid themselves in plain sight, as Astrid flew right by them. She flies out of the cave into a cloud and cant locate Hiccup and Toothless.
Back in the cave, Toothless and Hiccup can rest easy knowing they out ran their pursuers. Hiccup says to his dragon: "She's not going to be pleased with this is she?"
Astrid says out of frustration. "NO!" Knowing she lost her prey. Then Snotlout and Hookfang fly pass over, she then starts to persue them. As the young, muscular Viking turns to see the female warrior. Snotlout says to his Dragon. "Ok, Hookfang, time to show them who's the true King of the skies. Blaze!"
Even though Hookfang tries to blaze twice, it only lasts for barely a second. "Huh, Hookfang, I said Blaze!" Snotlout said to his dragon. Astrid was flying behind them when Snotlout continues to tell his dragon to Blaze. She flies a barrel roll over him and hits Snotlout on the head and says: "You're out!"
Snotlout yells at Hookfang, "Come on, quit being stubborn!" As the rest of the dragon riders come up to him and immediately can see that Hoofang is in bad shape, he is coughing up smoke.
They return to the beach, were they meet the Autobots. Snotlout dismounts and looks at them. They are showing concern and seriousness toward Hookfang. Snotlout asks: "What? You never seen a stubborn dragon before?" Hiccup replies: "Snotlout, that wasn't stubbornness, something is wrong with Hookfang. He couldn't flame up" Ratchet adds his concerns: "Hiccup is right, I think Hookfng I running low on fuel."
Snotlout, being in denial, replies: "No, Hookfang didn't want to flame up. There is a difference, he is bored with your dumb excercises, he can flame up whenever he wants."
Tuffnut replies cleverly and dumbly: "OK, how about now?" Even though Hookfang just lays there motionless doing nothing. Snotlout says: "Ha, he just doesn't feel like it now."
Astrid, Hiccup and Optimus look at each other thinking is Snotlout really this stubborn, not believing his dragon is worn out. Hiccup says: "We really need to check on Hookfang, let Ratchet check his vitals and we should probably do it now." Ratchet adds: "Let's see what I can find out and hopefully we can get to the bottom of what's ailing him." Snotlout says: "Fine, be my guest, but, there I nothing wrong with my dragon." He tries to act as though nothing is wrong, but, he is uncertain about his condition.
In the Autobot base, Ratchet begins scanning Hookfang. Look through the book of dragons, he begins to analyze Hookfangs symptoms. Ratchet quotes: "No fire, pale coloration and flecky scales." Snotlout says about Hookfang. "See, he's fine. Those are meaning he is fine, right?" Tuffnut sys in a chill, yet sarcastic tone: "Yeah, totally."
Fishlegs says with a concerned tone: "Hiccup any one of these symptoms would not be good, but, together really not good." Ratchet replies, in agreement. "I tend to agree with you completely." Hiccup looks toward both of them an asks: "So what are you saying?" Fishlegs says; "According to the book of Dragons, A Monsterous Nightmare can lose its power to generate flame." Ratchet adds: "This is serious."Astrid asks: "But, why?" Ratchet replies: "From what I have studied, it oculd be old age, injuries or exhaustion or..." Astrid finishes: "Or pushed to far by his stubborn rider."
Snotout says: "I heard that, and I always work him this hard. So, he's a little low on flame, so what's the cure?" Fishlegs answers: "That's the thing about Stoker Class Dragons, once they lose their flaming ability, they become completely defenseless and..." Snotlout asks "What are you saying Fishlegs?" Ratchet answers instead:" He is saying, unless we find a way to heat up Hookfang, he will not last much longer." Snotlout is now worried about the sake of his dragon.
In the Autobot Laboratory, Ratchet is hard at work trying to help Hookfang regain his flame. Ratchet scans the Monsterous Nightmare. Ratchet has Hookfang on a medical table wrapped in animal blankets and around numerous fires to keep him warm. Ratchet takes a needle and extracts some blood to see how to regenerate the flames.
For two days, Ratchet tries every known medical treatment from blood transfusions to keep him warm but nothing works, he even tries feeding him hot, spicey food, nothing is working. The dragon riders and Autobots come to check on Hookfangs progress. Hiccup says in a gleeful tone: "Hey, Ratchet, how is Hookfang? Is he getting any better?" Ratchet answers: "Look for yourself." They look to see Hookfang on the medical table, looking the same, not any better. Turning toward Ratchet, who has a rusty beard looks completely exhausted.
Bulkhead says: "Whoa, Ratchet! you look like you haven't powered down in days." Smokescreen adds: "What have you been doing all this time?"
Ratchet bangs his computer in complete frustration an anger, which startled the Dragon riders and Autobots alike. Astrid asks, but is afraid: "Ratchet?" Ratchet speaks: "I tried every known medical treatment. I tried blood transfusion, warming him up, I even fed him warm medicinal herbs. Nothing I tried works. It's not as easy as I thought. Damm it, Jim I'm a doctor!"
Everyone looked and worried about Ratchet's condition. Optimus breaks the silence by asking: "Old friend, what's wrong?" Ratchet just groaned instead of replying, then walks out of the room. Snotlout asks: "Ratchet, were are you going? Hookfang needs you!" The Autobot medic replies: "How can I help him, I don't know anything about Dragons! If you need me, I will be in the corner, rusting away with all the other obsolete junk." He leaves the room saddened and disheartened. Fishlegs asks: "What is up with Ratchet? I have seen him grumpy before, but never like this." Optimus answers: "You have to excuse Ratchet, he is very proud. He's been through many battle before the war for Cybertron. He is a seasoned veteran who saved many lives, but, the ones he lost, he still blames himself."
In the Dragon Academy, the Dragon Riders and the Autobots comfort Hookfang in his hour of need. Hiccup says to his cousin: "Don't worry Snotlout, we will get to the bottom of this, I promise." Snotlout says in denial "I'm not worried." The tough Viking places his hand on his dragons bottom jaw and then starts to tear up. Tuffnut walks to Snotlout and says in surprise: "Whoa, you crying? What's that?" Snotlout replies trying to act tough: "Crying?" He punches the male twin. "Me crying? It's, its just dusty." He lies through his sobbing voice and tears.
Arcee says being reasonable to Snotlout's pain. "Snotlut, no one will think less of you. We all know what its like losing a friend, we've all been there, trust us." Bulkhead adds: "Yeah, I've lost a lot of Wreckers in the war and some after the war." Smokescreen also adds: "I personally lost many Comrades in battle as well. I know what you are feeling." Astrid finishes by saying "Snotlout there is nothing wrong about being upset, it just shows you care." She placed her hand on his shoulder and he just shoved it off. Snotlout says admitting his feelings: "Let's just pretend for a minute, that I do care. How would I know? How would you know?"
Astrid says: "You might have a tightness in your chest. You might get a little shaky and your eyes might get watery." At first Snotlout was opening his feelings, but, when he sees the Twins pretending to be sympathetic, he backs up and says: "Nah, I'm gonna go with dust. For now." Astrid can see behind his bluster, that Snotlout does care about his dragon. Fishlegs says in an excited tone: "Hiccup, here is something from the Borg papers regarding the re-ignite storker class dragon flame." He shows a picture drawing of a Monsterous Nightmare surrounded by honey combs in flames with small drawings of fire worm dragons. Hiccup says looking at the paper: "Fireworm Dragons." Fishlegs adds: "Or as Borg referred to them "The flame eaters. The Twins were excited to hear that. Tuffnut says: "The flame-eaters. We shall be flame eaters." Ruffnut replies: "Yeah!" She punches her twin brother in the back for agreeing with him.
Hiccup says regarding the fire worms; "Fire worms are storker class dragons too. There must be something in them to reignite the Monsterous Nightmare. Astrid, the Twins and their Autobot partners, Bee and I will round up as many fire worms as we can find. Fishlegs, you and Ratchet keep reading." Snotlout asks: "What about me?" Hiccup answers: "You stay with your dragon. He need you. I'll get Smokescreen here. " Astrid adds: "It's part of caring." So Snotlout stays with his dragon while the others search for the fireworms. In the wild Hiccup, Toothless and Bee find a small group of the small flaming dragons. Astrid, Stormfly and Arcee find a few more fire worms as they try to scurry away. Stormfly blocks their escape as does Arcee. In the bushes, Tuffnut calls out: "Here fire worm." He whistles for them like puppies. He keeps calling them out, but, no response. He sits down on a log and something starts to sizzle. "Someone is cooking, smells delicious." He soon realizes what he was smelling was his own rear end, as he jumps off the log in pain. He looks down into the hole of the log and sees all the fire worms crowded together.
The large wrecker searches for the fire worm dragons on his own. He looks in all the places he considers their habitat. Bulkhead says to himself: "fire worms are like ants, they tend to move in colonies and find dry, out of the way areas, so they can move quickly in case predators find them." Bulkhead continues to walk over the rocky terrain, suddenly the rocks beneath his feet collapse under his weight, creating a small hole. When he lifts up his foot, he sees a small colony of fireworms. "Jackpot! I hit the mother load."
At the Berk Dragon Academy, Hookfang is surrounded by Fireworms, but they are not doing what they hoped. Hiccup says: "That might not have worked, but..." Tuffnut interrupts: "Maybe he can drink this?" Hiccup questions the bowl of strange substance, then asks: "Huh? What is that?" Ruffnut answers: "Fireworm milk." Astrid questions: "Fireworm milk?" Arcee adds: "That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my life." Fishlegs says: "Tuffnut, I don't think you can actually milk a fireworm." Ratchet adds: It's true. Fire worm dragons are like other Dragons, they are reptiles, only mammals produce milk."
Tuffnut replies: "Oh great, Where were you two about three hours ago?" Showing his bandaged hand, Hiccup comes up with an idea: "Maybe we need to put the fireworms on Hookfang so he could absorb their heat directly." Ratchet puts his hand on his chin, pondering that statement. "It could be possible, whn Itried my ethods, he couldn't generate his own body heat. So absorbing another living creatures body heat may be able to work."
So, the dragon riders placed the fireworms, but, it is the same result. Hookfang is not getting any better. But, then a small flame starts on his head, generating from his own body. Snotlout says in excitement: "It's working, Its working!" But the flame disappears. "We need more fireworms!" He started searching but, no sign. Astrid says in a bit of sadness: "Snotlout, we rounded up all the fireworms on Berk." Bulkhead adds; "We have been searching for over an hour and a half for his handful. If there were more, then would find them." Snotlout sadly drops the bucket, realizing they cant find anymore fire worms.
While the Dragon riders come to realize this, the Twins are playing with two fire worms by holding them with tongs as not to burn themselves, while trying to hit each other. As the Twins play and argue, Hiccup seems to notice something. Astrid asks: "Hiccup do you honestly think now is a good time to be focusing on the Twins?" Hiccup replies: "This is actually the perfect time." While the Twins continue to play, the Fireworms began to glow a bit brighter. "They just gave me an idea." He comes between the Twins and says to them: "I know I don't say this often, but you two are geniuses ." Tuffnut says to his sister, "Like we don't know that." In a lantern, a few fireworms are inside it, the lanterns handle is on a spear. Snotlout walks to Hiccup and asks: "Hiccup, what are you doing?" Shouldn't you be figuring out how to save my dragon?" HIccup replies: "I am." Hiccup demonstrates his theory. He holds the lantern of fireworms over some free fireworms. "As Ruff and Tuff so assuitntly discovered, fireworms get bright the closer they are to one another." Astrid says in amazement: "Wow, that's pretty cool." Optimus adds: "If these glow more brightly is a simple reaction, could be some kind of communication." The Twins are aslo impressed by this. Ruffnut asks: "We discovered that?" Hiccup answers: "Yes, Yes, you did." Smokescreen adds: "I guess you're a lot smarter than you look." Thise Twins look at each other and head butt each other in congratulations. Hiccup says: "So, if I'm right, the closer we get to more fireworms. Come on, come on Tuff, lead us home." He cencouragesthe male Twin to finish the sentence. Neither Twin could answer the question. Tuffnut comes up with an answer. "We all burst into flames!" Hiccup corrects: "No, the closer we get the more brighter the glow inside this, as he holds the lantern up to display. Tuffnut replies dryly: "Uh, much less fun than bursting into flame."
Snotlout questions: "Wait a minute, I thought you said there were no more fireworms on the Island." Fishleg replies: "There aren't, on this Island, but, there are on Fireworm Island. He shows on the book of Dragons. A picture and notes on the homeland of the fireworm birth.
Snotlout questions again: "Fireworm Island?" Fishlegs adds: "That's where these little guys are going to lead us." In the Autobot base, Ratchet uses Cybertranian technology and a fire worm to create a DNA-Dragons-metal-detector.
Smokescreen, Bumblebee and Bulkhead walk in, Bulkhead asks: "Ratchet, what are you doing?" Ratchet finishes his invention and answers: "I invented a DNA Dragon detector." He shows a 4' by 6' boxed shape detector with a retractable handle and a circular disk with homing in capabilities. "It's kinda like a metal detector only it detect dragons not metal." Bumblebee replies: "(Yeah, yeah, same principles") Ratchet continue: "And it comes with radar to locate the position and how many there are. As an added bonus it comes with recorder to record the animal sound variations." Bulkhead asks: "Why do we need to record the...calls or whatever?" Smokescreen answers instead: "Isn't it obvious Bulk? The sound recorded will be used to notify us of the difference of which dragon. And we can use it to make them come to us."
Ratchet says in agreement: "Exactly! so I made 5 for us and 3 for our human allies." So he gives the detectors to the three Autobots and the small ones as well. Ratchet adds: "Also, Im coing with you." Bulkhead asks: "Uh, Ratchet, why do you want to go on a field mission? You haven't done field work for a while." The medical officer replies: "Hookfang is my patient, I took solemn oath to help any patient of mine, whether it be Autobot, Human or Dragon." The three Autobots understand completely as to his determination to his work.
In the Autobot Base, Ratchet put in the coordinates to Fireworm Island. He reads from the book of Dragons. Putting in the longitude and latitude opening a ground bridge. So the team Prime and Dragon Riders walk through, landing on the Island.
After leaving the ground bridge, it closes behind them. They look to see Hookfang collapse, even though he only walked five feet, his body still feels worn out. Hiccup says to Snotlout: "Snotlout, I think you need to stay behind with Hookfang. We'll bring the fireworms back." Snotlout still fills guilty for what he did. Snotlout protests: "No, its my fault Hiccup. I did this to Hookfang." He runs into the cave of where the fireworms are living. " I'm going to save him" Astrid says to Hiccup: "Hiccup, Me, Arcee and Stormfly will stay and look after Hookfang." Ratchet says: "Then we have no more time to lose."
So Hiccup relesesthe fireworms in the lantern so they will lead them to the rest. Optimus says: "Follow the fireworms. Transform and roll out." The Autobots Transform into vehicle mode. Snotlout mounts on to Toothless and head into the cave.
While the two Dragon Riders and Night Fury follow the fireworms, the Autobots use the dragon detectors, all end in the same spot. They enter a large opening, seeing a bee hive of fireworms. Snotlot questions; "What is that?" Hiccup answers: "I think its a nest." Ratchet adds: "This is amazing! It's like a giant beehive." Hiccup sees the fireworms acting like worker bees, filling the nest with fire jelly.
Hiccup says: "Flameeaters, that's what Borg meant, they are filling the firecomb with the flaming jelly. Eating it is what give the fireworms their heat. What ever you do, please don't tell the Twins about this. And be careful not to disturb the nest." As Hiccup continues to talk, Snotlout dismounts and takes a flaming honeycomb. He kept pulling while yelling: "This is gonna save his cousin, then a loud roar is heard. Going out of a tunnel, is a fireworm dragon This one is fifty times larger and even a larger wing span. Snotlout says: "What is that?" Hiccup answers: "That would be the Mother. The fireworm Queen." The dragon snarls at the three intruders in her cave kingdom.
As the Fireworm Queen roars at the three intruders, the dragon riding prince says to the Night Fury: "Toothless, she is just protecting her nest. We are the intruders here." He explains to his dragon who is snaring back to the Queen.
Hiccup whispers to Snotlout: "I think you should probably put that back." Snotlout replies: "NO!, this is the only way to save Hookfang and I'm not giving it up!" Snotlout takes the only run out of the cave, as the Queen chases him. Hiccup says to his Dragon: "Bud, that Queen is not happy." So the Rider and dragon chase after both queen and thick headed Viking through the cave tunnel.
Snotlout still runs for his life as the fire worm queen chases him. As she was about to bite on him, Hiccup and Toothless swoops in and lifts him out of the Queen's way. The two Vikings on the dragon flying try to leave the cave as the Queen chases after them. Hiccup says to Toothless: "OK Bud, Get us out of here!"
The three still flew, out maneuvering the Queen even as rocks fall on to the large worm dragon.
Snotlout turns back,not seeing the Queen behind them and rapidly says: "Wati, where did she go? I think we lost her." Hiccup replies: "There is no time to worry about thatnow, she is out of our way and the exit is up ahead." As they were about to exit the cave, the Fireworm Queen is ahead. Blocking the entrance. "And she took a shortcut." Snotlout exclaims: "There is no way out!"
The fire shot came from the left, forcing the fire worm dragon Queen to retreat, as Astrid on Stormfly, with Arcee beside them chasing the Queen away. Hiccup joyfully exclaims: "Astrid, Stormfly, Arcee!" The three fly out of the cave, turning to see the female Viking and Autobot warriors and dragon fighting the large Queen.
Astrid says: "We will handle the Queen, You get to Hookfang." The Queen breathes fire, as the Dragon rider and Autobot hold it off.
The two Viking and the Night Fury land right next to the monsterous nightmare. Snotlout dismounts and goes to his dragon and says;" I got it Hookfang, I got it! You need to eat this right now." Hookfang smells the fire honeycomb but, doesn't have the strength to eat.
Ratchet says: "Hookfang can't eat it. We will have to inject it." So the Autobot medic pulls out a needle and extracts the fire jelly. Just as he was about to inject the fire jelly into Hookfang, the Dragon Riders and Autobots can no longer hold the Queen at bay. Snotlout eagerly says: "Ratchet, hurry!" Ratchet replies: "I will, don't rush me!" But before he could, the Queen tail whips Ratchet and he drops the needle container. "NOOOO!" Both Autobot medic and buff Viking said at the same time.
Then both of them an Hookfang turn to the Queen. She rushes to them and the Dragaon. Snotlout takes a stand. "You wanna get to Hookfang, you gotta go through me." Then Ratchet gets back up and transforms his hands into swords and says: "He's right, if uou want Hookfang, you're gonna go through my sparkless shell."
However, with what little strength he has, he stands up and walks toward the Queen. Snotlout questions: "Hookfang, what are you doing? She will kill you." Ratchet adds: "And in your condition you won't last long." Hiccup says: "He's protecting both of you. His will to do for you, what you're both willing to do for him." Smokescreen adds: "I gotta say Hookfang, I new found respect for you."
Seeing the selfless action this dragon is willing to do the Queen uses her tail to lift up Hookfang by the neck and uses her tongue and bites him. While everyone was shocked, Snotlout lays next to his Dragon and says calmly to him.: "I'm right here. You're not just another sword." He said with sadness, but Hookfang's scales starts to feel warm, then hot. "That's weird. He is really hot." Soon his scales goes from a grey back into red with black flame stripes. Then he stands up and burst into flames. Snotlout says in joy: "Hookfang! You're back!" The Dragon places his head on his riders hands. Smokescreen rubs the Dragon and says: "Way to pul through soldier."
Fishlegs comes up with a theory: "Feel his skin...The gel is regenerating him." Ratchet adds: "So the fireworm Queen's bite, its like an anti-venom." Hiccup finishes: "Her anti-venom must have started it up again. She saved him." Optimus walks over to the fireworm Queen and says to her: "Fireworm Queen, you saved our friends life. We are forever indeeded to you." Optimus raises his hand toward the Queen in a gesture of friendship. The Queen hesitates, not being accustomed to this gesture, but feels something. Like she senses something more. Kindness spread over his face. So she places her head on his palm accepting his proposal of friendship.
The fireworm Queen returns to her nest. Snotlout sheds tears, Astrid humors him: "Hey, you got some dust in your eyes?" Snotlout replies: "Yeah, I did. Stupid old dust." He acted like he is human.
The next day, at the stone stacks, the dragon riders are waiting for one of their members. Astrid asks: "Where are they?" Fishlegs also asks: "Why are we always waiting on him?" Hiccup sees his cousin and dragon and says: "There he is." As the muscular Viking and dragon land on the stone stack. "Good, we're all here. Snotlout this time you're the evil dragon." Snotout replies: "Actually, I thought we set this on out, go on a nice flight, take in the sights. I just want to make sure he is well rested." Astrid says: "I thought you Dad said 'Rest is for the weak'." Snotlout replies: "Well turns our my Dad doesn't know anything about Dragons. We're going to take it easy, until Hookfang's back to his old self." But the Viking spoke too soon, for Hookfang tosses Snotlout in the arm, burst into flames. Hiccup says: "Well, I guess he is back to his old self." So the dragon riders chase Snotlout to begin the chase.
