Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Danny Phantom. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Danny Phantom is created by Butch Hartman and aired as an American animated action adventure television series by Nickelodeon in 2004.
"Here," said Eudial as she dropped an unconscious Serena to the floor, "One hime for you, Endymion-ōsama."
After leaving the three so-called bodyguard ghosts, Eudial tsked at the three before looking at the still conscious Serena. Serena, on her part, was glaring defiantly at Eudial. She didn't know what was going on, but she knew she was in trouble. Eudial smirked evilly back at Serena before reaching out to grab her arm. Serena, though, didn't go without a fight. She got into a fighting stance and started to dodge Eudial's attempt at grabbing her. Seeing that she was running out of time, Eudial pointed her weapon at the three unconscious ghosts. She gave an ultimatum to Serena to surrender or say goodbye to her beloved's ghost friends. Serena looked at the three unconscious ghosts before sighing in defeat. She slowly went to Eudial, but she was not expecting Eudial to hit the back of her neck to make her unconscious. Now, Serena was unconscious on the floor as Eudial presented her to King Endymion IV. "Excellent," said King Endymion, "You have done well, Eudial."
"Of course, ōsama," said Eudial with a bow, "Did you have any doubt?"
"From you," said King Endymion, "Īe."
"If I may ask," said Eudial, "What are you going to do with this Sailor Senshi?"
"Why," said King Endymion, "Make her one of us, my dear."
Eudial looked at King Endymion in surprise. Sure, she was all for destroying any Sailor Brats, especially the one who defeated her and her boss, but to make her evil like them? For some reason, Eudial was sure it would not be done at all. She remembered talks with Esmeraude about a Black Lady who turned back to the goody-two-shoes Chibi-Usa after being brainwashed by the Doom Phantom. How Esmeraude knew about that incident after she died, Eudial wouldn't know, but if that situation was being replayed once more, she knew that she was going to get out of dodge before the goody-two-shoe heroes came storming in to free their little friends and their hime. Bowing once more to King Endymion, Eudial swiftly left the throne room. Maybe she would bring Mimete with her as she also thought about the other three Witches 5 that don't have enough of themselves to become ghosts. King Endymion, on his part, summoned another one of the Sailor Senshi's past enemies. "Endymion-ōsama," said a bowing female.
"Ah, Beryl-san," said King Endymion as he gestured to the unconscious Serena, "Metalia-sama has a job for you."
"Is that," questioned Beryl as she stared at the unconscious female.
"Hai," said King Endymion, "Eudial was gracious enough to kidnap the hime while my so-called son and his friends battled against Esmeraude and Rubeus."
"What would you like me to do to this wretched hime, Endymion-ōsama," questioned Beryl with a glare to Serena.
"Brainwash her," said King Endymion.
"What," questioned Beryl.
"You heard me, Beryl-san," said King Endymion, "Brainwash the hime into thinking that those friends of hers are not to be trusted. Make her one of us."
Beryl hummed in thought as she looked at Serena. She thought about her time brainwashing Endymion-ōji (prince) and thought better to just brainwashing her. Beryl looked at King Endymion who had an expected look on his face. Beryl knew that whatever results King Endymion wanted wouldn't come to fruition, but she wasn't going to tell him that. She rather live, even if it is in ghost form, thank you very much. So, she said, "It shall be done, Endymion-ōsama."
"Excellent," said King Endymion, "Make sure to erase ALL memories of my so-called son from her mind."
"Of course," said Beryl before calling… "Pierrot! Manegin!"
"Hai," said two Youma who appeared before King Endymion and Beryl.
"Bring Serenity-hime to the chamber for brainwashing," commanded Beryl.
"However," piped up King Endymion, "Do NOT injure her."
Beryl gave a hidden sneered before nodding her head to the two Youma to follow King Endymion IV's orders in NOT injuring the precious hime. Beryl bowed towards King Endymion before leaving behind the two Youma and the still unconscious Serena. She knew that if she really want the hime to be on their side, they needed to do something different to make the brainwashing stick. 'Why do I follow them again,' thought Beryl as she inwardly sighed before going to do what she must do.
- With Danny & Co. –
"How's Frostbite, Pandora, and Princess Dorathea," questioned Danny.
After the horrified shock of learning that Serena was kidnapped, Tucker, Jazz, Danny, Dash, Kwan, and Hotaru grabbed one of the three injured ghosts and helped them back into the castle. The Senshi looked at the six, but a few of the Senshi were glaring at the ghosts. Their hime was kidnapped without any of her memories of transforming into Sailor Moon and defending herself. Walking and following the Reincarnates and the injured ghosts, they were all led to a medical facility. The Yeti ghosts that were similar to Frostbite grabbed the injured ghosts from the Reincarnates and Jazz before submerging the ghosts in a liquid tank to help heal them fully. Once Danny asked about the three ghosts, a Yeti ghost answered. "Calm yourself, Great One," said the Yeti, "Frostbite and the other two will be just fine in a couple of hours."
"That's good," said Tucker with a sigh of relief.
"I'm sure that the three tried their best against whoever captured Serena," said Jazz optimistically.
"Really," questioned a skeptical Makoto.
"Don't sound so skeptical," said Kwan, "I'm sure that whoever it was, it was one of YOUR past enemy."
"And judging by the burns from Frostbite," said Hotaru, "It was probably one of the Witches 5. I don't remember any of your past enemies, besides Rubeus, commanding fire. Serena was also probably placed with a hard decision that resulted in her leaving with that person, too."
The Senshi grew solemn as they thought about it. Of course, Ami and Rei commented about the Youma called Castor and Pollux who could also command fire, but due to the extent of the burns, that suggestion was shut down. Haruka and Michiru also remembered one of the Witches 5 commanding a flame thrower that COULD burn Frostbite much more than the Youma Ami and Rei suggested. The two Outers commented that Hotaru was probably right in her assumption because they retold their encounters with Eudial, a Witches 5, and her flame thrower weapon. "So, Serena was saving Frostbite, Pandora, and Princess Dorathea," said Jadeite.
"She was also probably remembering that the Witches 5 can extract a ghost core," said Skulker with a tone of respect in his voice.
"That is so like my little sister to think of others before herself," sighed Dash.
"Since we know what essentially happened," said Jazz, "How are we going to proceed?"
"Danny," questioned Tucker.
"After the three are healed," said Danny, "We ALL go to the source and take them out."
"Now, that's a plan I'll get behind," said Haruka with a smirk.
"You would," said Michiru with a gentle smile.
'Don't give up hope, Beautiful,' thought Danny, 'We're coming to save you and the others. Just you wait.'
- With Beryl & Serena –
"I can't believe I have to do this," grumbled Beryl.
To make sure that Serena stayed unconscious until she was on top of the magical coffin-like bed, Beryl commanded her two Youma to slowly extract the energy from Serena. Beryl will not have Serena be awake or else Serena regained consciousness to escape. She didn't want Metalia-sama on her for that folly. Once they were in the chamber with the brainwashing coffin-like bed, Serena was dumped unceremoniously on top of the coffin-like bed. Beryl barked out that the Youma shouldn't have done that before turning towards the hime. With another grumble, Beryl raised her hands and sent out dark, evil energy that formed purple rings going around the coffin-like bed. "There," said Beryl, "Though, a little tweak for this spell to work on the hime. I'll just don't tell King Endymion IV on how this spell can actually break. No need for him to know."
"Beryl-sama," said a Youma with a bow.
"What is it," barked out Beryl.
"Endymion-ōsama wants to have a council with you, Death Phantom, and Mistress Nine," said the Youma.
"Very well," said Beryl who walked to the exit, "The hime isn't going to go anywhere after all."
- Within Serena's Mind –
"Where am I," questioned Serena.
Not knowing where she was, Serena looked around to see shades of silver and black all around her. It wasn't long that three figures shimmered right in front of her. Serena gaped as she saw who the figures were. One figure was wearing a white flowing gown with white shoulder pieces disconnected from her dress, an intricately decorated bodice with gold hoops, and had a golden crescent moon on her forehead. Another figure was wearing a Sailor Senshi outfit with her skirt being white with a blue and yellow border at the bottom and the tiara having a gold crescent moon instead of a gem. The last figure was wearing a blue Japanese uniform that had a red ribbon on the front of her uniform, a familiar magical brooch nestled in the middle of said ribbon. All three figures had the same features as Serena, their blue eyes boring into Serena herself. "W-Who are you," questioned Serena.
"We are you," said the one wearing the Japanese uniform.
"We are your past," said the one wearing the white gown.
"Just call us by what we represent," said the Sailor Senshi.
"Represent," questioned Serena.
"Un," nodded the Japanese uniformed one, "I was you as Tsukino Usagi."
"I am Princess Serenity," said the white gown one.
"I am Sailor Moon," said the Sailor Senshi.
"Why have you appeared now," questioned Serena.
"You are in danger of losing yourself once more," said Moon.
"Losing myself," questioned Serena, "But, I have already lost myself! The Sailor Senshi came for Hotaru and me, but we have no memories of them whatsoever! Well, except for Hotaru. She was lucky to even remember her past."
"And that is why we are here," said Serenity.
"Speak for yourself," said Usagi with her arms crossed, "I rather her NOT remember Mamoru-san and the other hurtful memories as me if I can help it."
"Then, protect her memories of Danny and the others while WE restore her memories of Princess Serenity and Sailor Moon," said an exasperated Moon.
With that, Usagi winked at Serena before disappearing once more into the recess of her mind. She knew that she couldn't really protect her from the brainwashing that Beryl was doing to her right now, but she could and will protect the precious memories of Danny, her brother Dash, and the others to the best of her abilities. Who knows? Maybe that will be enough to make sure Serena doesn't fall for the brainwashed Mamoru. As Usagi left to protect Serena's precious Amity Park memories, Princess Serenity V and Sailor Moon glowed silver and light pink respectfully before extending an index finger towards Serena's forehead. Both index fingers of the two figures touched Serena's forehead before pulling back, making Serena glow a mixture of silver and light pink. "I hope the memories won't overwhelm her," said a worried Serenity.
"I'm sure it will be fine," said Moon, "Serena is a tough person."
"I think you just complemented yourself," chided Serenity.
"Well, it's true," said Moon, "Besides; we know that she needs to remember before the final battle."
"Un," said Serenity before asking, "Shall we help Usagi with Serena's memories?"
Sailor Moon didn't even answer as she disappeared to help Usagi. Princess Serenity V huffed in annoyance of her warrior self before she too disappeared, both figures leaving Serena with the swirling memories of the Silver Millennium and being a Sailor Senshi. As Serena was wrapped in a cocoon of silver and light pink, she never noticed that a dark and evil purple light was surrounding said cocoon, warping her outer mind with the brainwashing. Serena would also never notice that her outside body was also transforming from said dark and evil light, her forehead flickering from an upturn golden crescent moon to a upside-down black crescent moon and back again.
- With Danny & Co. –
"Alright guys," said Danny, "Let's get Serena and the others back!"
"Yeah," shouted the army of ghosts in front of Danny.
"Do we really need the ghosts," questioned/whispered Minako.
"Hai," answered/whispered back Setsuna.
As the Sailor Senshi and the knights transformed, everyone was ready to get rid of the evil that was King Endymion IV and his army of the Sailor Senshi's past enemies, along with the ghosts that sided with him. Danny was happy about the outcome, but as everyone flew or went into the Specter Speeder to get to the battle, Danny couldn't help the feeling of dread coming onto him. Something was happening to Serena, and he couldn't do anything about it until arriving wherever Skulker was leading them to. 'Just a bit more, Beautiful,' thought Danny, 'Hold on just a bit longer.'
