Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Danny Phantom. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Danny Phantom is created by Butch Hartmanand aired as an American animated action adventure television series by Nickelodeon in 2004.
"Now, where is Beautiful at," murmured Danny to himself.
After turning intangible and diving into Serena's mind, Danny found himself in darkness. The only color he could see was the glowing green he naturally produced from his ectoplasm as he ventured deeper into the darkness. He didn't know how he was going to find the one true Serena in all of this darkness, but he hoped that he wasn't too late in helping Serena. It took a while as Danny murmured to himself, but suddenly, he could hear different voices up ahead. He squared his shoulders as he walked forward until… "What in the Ancients is going on here," questioned Danny as he blinked to look at what was going on.
Right in front of Danny, he could see that he ended up in the North Pole for some odd reason. In front of Danny, he could see a huge lady-like monster in a purple flower. The monster was facing a huge icicle that was split at the top. The monster growled before shooting dark energy towards whoever was at the top. However, Danny's heart stopped as he saw exactly WHO was on top of the huge icicle as silver energy was gathered. "Is this…," questioned Danny in horror.
"Moon Healing Escalation," called out the familiar voice of Serena.
The lady-like monster gathered black energy between her arms before flinging it at the icicle. However, it was met by silver energy that surrounded Serena. Silver energy and black energy went back and forth as Danny inched closer to watch the battle between who he now assumes is Queen Beryl and his reincarnated love, Princess Serenity V. He could also hear the woman's voice as she spoke in a dual tone. "Why," screamed out Beryl, "Why do you go to such lengths to defy me?! You dream of a beautiful future, but you are sure to eventually realize that this world is already ugly and filthy!"
"Īe," said Serena, "I have faith!"
"In love," questioned Beryl, "Friendship? Or, in the trust between people? Beryl cackles evilly."
"I have faith," repeated Serena, "I have faith in this world that everyone tried to protect!"
"Baka," said Beryl, "There is nothing left to believe in this rotten world!"
Danny winced as he saw Serena being slowly electrocuted by the black lightning energy. He could also see that Serena was losing energy fast as she tried to hold out against Queen Beryl's attack. Danny, however, was surprised to see the spirits of the Inner Senshi come to Serena's aid before shouting out their transformation phrase, which was different from the present time. As the Inners and Serena combined their energies together, a huge pink energy orb came out from the silver energy and was sent hurdling towards Queen Beryl. That energy orb eventually engulfed Queen Beryl and destroyed her existence. Yet, the energy orb didn't stop there as it slowly went towards the fallen Serena. "Thank you, everyone," whispered Serena.
"Serena," yelled out Danny.
Danny could only try to run to help Serena get away from the energy orb. He, however, didn't realize that this was the memory given to Serena by apparitions of Sailor Moon and Princess Serenity V. As Danny flew his fastest to save Serena, he wasn't quick enough as the energy orb engulfed both before Danny fell into… nighttime? Danny shivered as he remembered what he saw about the battle. His Beautiful fought against Queen Beryl in her second past life, and where was he? Probably fighting a lowly ghost at the time and couldn't help his love. However, this wasn't the time to self-doubt himself as he shook the horror out of his mind. He had to find Serena before she woke up and became the evil Sailor Senshi once more. Danny got his wits back together before looking around. It didn't take him that long to see Serena unconscious as a Sailor Senshi and being surrounded by the Inners. "Now what," questioned Danny as he prepared for another show.
"Sailor Moon," called out Venus, "Wake up!"
The Inner Senshi were surrounding Serena as Sailor Moon. All four of them were very worried and in tears in what Serena got herself into. Danny could see that the Inners were trying very hard to wake up Serena up as Serena herself was glowing pink. He didn't know what this showed, but he was willing to bet that he wouldn't like the outcome. Danny looked worried just as Mercury exclaimed something to them. "Her body temperature is dropping rapidly," shouted Mercury in alarm.
"Eh," questioned Mars in worry.
"Why," cried Jupiter, "Why won't she wake up?"
It wasn't long that a screech sound was heard from the group. Danny saw his half-brother in a tuxedo outfit with a white mask on his face arrive. Said half-brother got off of the motorcycle and ran towards his love. Danny could see the heartbroken tone in his voice before Danny clenched his fist to see his half-brother kiss his love. He knew he shouldn't be jealous, but that was his love being kissed by some other dude. Danny saw that after the kiss, it actually helped Serena as whatever evil was in her body appeared and was easily destroyed after. When Danny thought it was over, he witnessed something else. "Tuxedo Kamen," said Serena, "You do care about me…"
"Sailor Moon," said Tuxedo Kamen, "I do not love you!"
"Eh," questioned Serena, "But, you saved me."
"That has nothing to do with this," said Tuxedo Kamen as he turned away from Serena, "The red string of fate, that bound us together, has been severed."
"Ugh," groaned Danny, "Although I am happy my half-brother saved Sere, why am I seeing this? sits down Or is Serena finally getting her memories back? Is she going to dump me for my half-brother?"
Danny gnawed his bottom lip in worry. He knew that his half-brother and Serena had a history together in Serena's second life, but if Serena is remembering these things, does that mean Serena is going to dump him for his half-brother? Danny frowned more in worry as he finally stood up to find Serena. However, as he ventured more, he saw more of Sailor Moon's battles that had him worry. He even saw the so-called future daughter badmouthing Sailor Moon when she came back as a Sailor Senshi herself. What got to him was the memory of how the Inners turned on Sailor Moon that almost led her to become an ally for the Negaverse. "Seriously," questioned a surprised Danny.
"What's the square root of two," questioned Mercury.
The Inners and Serena were transformed and fighting against… Sailor Moon? Danny couldn't comprehend what he was seeing as the Inners started to battle her. He thought it was just training for Serena as a Sailor Senshi, but he was wrong the memory progressed. The Inners weren't helping Sailor Moon as she was fighting against a Youma from strangulation. He could also see the Inners hiding behind a bush, though once again, Danny had to restrain himself for going after the Inners. "Sailor Moon," said Mercury.
"Let's go," whispered Jupiter.
"Matte," said Mars, "If we go now, everything will be ruined."
"Everyone, just be patient," said Venus.
"Patient," exclaimed Danny as he watched the scene, "That is your hime right there that is getting hurt!"
"We go now," said Jupiter.
"Okay," said Mercury.
"We can't," said Mars as she stopped the others.
"Are you still saying that," exclaimed Jupiter, "Mars, you actually really hate Sailor Moon, don't you?!"
Danny sighed in relief that after all this time, the Inners finally got up from their butts to try to save Serena. He was still going to have words with them all about leaving the so-called plans for the first time if something DOES happens to their hime. It seemed as though Serena was always being used as bait. Though, the image distorted before Danny could really see if Serena was alright. Danny fell down to see a different memory… a memory from THIS lifetime. He saw himself as a third grader and was hanging out with a younger Tucker and a younger Sam. It wasn't until he heard it… "E-Excuse me," said a younger female.
3rd grader, Danny Fenton, turned around while Tucker and Sam went into the school. He saw a little girl, slightly chubby, but the older Danny knew that this little girl was Serena. She looked a bit different as Danny saw her shifting from one foot to the other. The younger Danny smiled slightly and asked the girl what she wanted. The little girl, Serena, smiled slightly and told Danny that she was new and needed help finding the principal's office. Danny, who was already helpful, just led the little girl to the office. "Thank you, um…," said Serena.
"Danny," said Danny as he started to walk to his class, "Danny Fenton."
"I'm Serenity," said Serena, "Sere…nity Baxter."
However, Danny saw his younger self walk away just as Serena tried to introduce herself. Danny didn't remember this memory, but he probably realized that his younger self wouldn't be seeing her again and blocked her out of her mind. If Danny remembered her, he was sure they would have been best friends way before the past memories came back to them in their high school years. He suddenly felt the memory shift to Serena gazing at someone that was far away as a younger Hotaru sat next to her. "Who are you looking at," questioned Hotaru.
"Do you see that 3rd grader with the nice blue eyes and with the black-haired girl and the African American," questioned Serena.
"Eh," questioned Hotaru who looked at Danny, Sam, and Tucker, "How do you know his eye color?"
"H-He actually helped me find the principal's office today," said Serena with a blush.
"Sere," questioned Hotaru with a knowing smile, "Do you have a crush?"
The younger Serena and the older Danny flushed together. He couldn't believe he was hearing that Serena, his Beautiful, actually had feelings for him when they all were in 3rd grade! Danny smirked, however, as he saw Serena flush slightly before he frowned at the sad smile Serena had. Hotaru questioned what was wrong before Serena answered. "Even if I have a crush on him," said Serena, "I bet that he won't even remember me. I mean, he has that pretty black-haired girl next to him. They'll probably be together in high school, and I'll just be the invisible girl that was helped by him in passing."
Danny frowned more as he heard Serena's answer. However, the image disappeared before he could try to shake his younger self to go over to Serena and befriend her. Yet, once the image disappeared, Danny started to fall before he was taken to somewhere that he recognized in his dreams… the Silver Millennium. Danny looked around as he prepared himself to see the Silver Millennium memories, yet he didn't have to. In front of Danny was Serena glowing pink like the time his half-brother saved her. He also saw the apparitions of Sailor Moon, Usagi Tsukino, and Princess Serenity V surrounding Serena in worry. "Um," said Danny who looked confused.
"Aeolian," said Princess Serenity V.
"Earth Knight," said Sailor Moon.
"Danny," said Usagi.
"Are you," questioned Danny.
"We are the three aspects that hold Serena's memories," said Serenity.
"So, Beautiful has her memories back," questioned Danny.
"Just the ones with Sailor Moon and Princess Serenity V," said Usagi.
"She points at Usagi believes that Serena should not remember her life as Usagi," said Moon.
"It's true though," said Usagi, "I got to thinking that when I was revealed as Serenity, the Inners were all for pushing me towards Mamoru. Even Mars gave him up for me, and I STILL feel guilty about that. Don't even get me started about the Outers."
"We get it," said Serenity and Moon together with a sigh.
Danny had a perplexed look on his face when the three started to talk all at once. He walked slowly up to the four figures before looking at Serena. Serena was still glowing pink from that one memory, and he was worried. Was the Youma who did that in that memory somehow in HER body like before? Danny didn't know what to do as he looked at the three figures expectantly. "Well, you saw how your half-brother woke her up," said Usagi, "So, get going, lover boy."
"Usagi," chided Serenity, "Aeolian is already confused as is. He doesn't need to also be embarrassed by aspects of Serena… by us."
"Well, he's not really doing anything," said Moon, "I'm surprised that he found us so fast."
"Not fast enough," muttered Danny.
"It IS fast enough," said Usagi with a comforting smile, "Serena won't wake up unless she gets true love's energy."
"Like with my half-brother," questioned Danny bitterly.
"Well," said Serenity with a wince, "Something like that. However, your half-brother actually didn't have the love energy to wake her up the first time."
"What do you mean," asked Danny in confusion, "I saw the memory of it."
"You did, yes," said Moon, "However, it wasn't really the kiss that woke her up the first time. The first time, the Ginzuishō stepped in by imitating your soul energy within the kiss. True love's energy is only geared towards soul mates, ya know."
Danny blinked as he heard that from Sailor Moon. The Ginzuishō could really imitate his energy? He didn't see it in the memory, but Sailor Moon could when she watched her memories go into Serena's head. She was so sure that Tuxedo Kamen was the one to wake her up, yet she saw the small silver glow within said kiss and wondered. The Ginzuishō, in turn, pulsed and sent an answer to Sailor Moon so she could tell this discovery to Danny himself. Now, however, the three aspects of Serena were tapping their foot impatiently, making Danny wince. "Um, w-why are you doing that," questioned Danny.
"Wake Serena up so we can go too," exclaimed the three together.
"Go," questioned Danny.
"Yes," said Serenity in exasperation, "After she wakes up, we disappear within her once more, letting Serena be in control once more."
"We need our sleep," yawned Usagi.
"Speak for yourself," said Moon, "I want Serena to kick butt as me, and to do that, she has to wake up."
Danny sweat-dropped as he heard the different responses. Ignoring the squabbling of the three aspects, Danny looked at glowing Serena. He knew what he had to do, but doing it while the three aspects were watching was nerve-wrecking. It was like judging how well he was kissing Serena. Danny mentally shook his head as he sat at the head of where Serena was. Gently lifting Serena's head, he placed her head on his lap before he leaned down. He mentally shook his head in amusement this time as his enhanced hearing heard Usagi squeaking while the other two shushed that apparition. Letting his lips softly and gently touch Serena's in a kiss, he poured all of his love for Serena into it. He could feel that the darkness that was within Serena battling against the pure energy, but it was losing. As he pulled back, the same thing happened to Serena when his half-brother kissed her. A flash of black energy shot up before disappearing out of her mind. In a moment, Danny held his breathe just as Serena softly groaned out. "Beautiful," questioned Danny.
"Hm," hummed Serena.
"Come on, Beautiful," said Danny with amusement, "It's time to wake up."
"Comfy," murmured Serena.
"Glad you think my lap is comfortable," teased Danny, "But, seriously, I want to see those beautiful blue eyes of yours."
Serena huffed slightly before her eyes opened in slits. She slowly could see the three aspects that gave her memories of her second past life back shimmer away before blinking. Her eyes moved to the side to see the black of Danny's Phantom uniform and the soft glowing green of his ectoplasm. Blinking her sleepiness away, Serena opened her blue eyes and looked into Danny's glowing green eyes. "Hey," murmured Serena.
"Hey yourself," said Danny, "You worried me."
"I did," questioned Serena.
"Uh huh," said Danny, "Especially when you got kidnapped and brainwashed."
"I didn't hurt anyone, did I," asked Serena worriedly.
"Don't worry, Beautiful," said Danny, "You didn't hurt us too much."
"I-I hurt you," asked a teary eyed Serena.
"No," said Danny, "But, you kicked Uranus' butt. Either way, it wasn't your fault. You weren't in control."
"And now," questioned Serena.
"Well, Moon said a kiss from your soul mate would wake you up and fix you right up," said Danny.
Serena blinked at what Danny said before blushing. She was surprised to remember the time she thought Tuxedo Kamen was her one true love. However, with Sailor Moon's input while regaining her memories as her, she knew that it wasn't true. She also considered that maybe the soul mate thing was also why Danny's love spell by Ember McClain disappeared when they started to date each other. Mentally shaking her head, she beautifully smiled at Danny. "Soul mate, huh," questioned Serena.
"You don't think that we're soul mates," questioned Danny in trepidation.
"I think that we're in a relationship and in love," said Serena, "So, being soul mates isn't so bad."
"Beautiful, you kind of scared me there," said Danny, "I thought my heart would stop."
"Oh," said Serena in a teasing voice, "I thought your heart couldn't stop because you're a ghost?"
"Well, my human heart may have stopped," chided Danny teasingly.
"Oh, how will I ever get your forgiveness," said Serena with a fake thoughtful look.
"I know a way," said Danny.
Danny pulled Serena close to him as he kissed her fully. Serena smiled inwardly as she returned the kiss. Both, however, didn't see the mixture of gold and silver energy softly surrounding the two as the darkness disappeared.
- Outside Of Serena's Mind –
When Danny first kissed Serena to awaken her, the black energy got pushed out of her and outward. That backlash in energy directly hit the Doom Phantom just before he could throw a huge energy blast to the group. The Senshi, the Reincarnates, Jadeite, and Jazz looked at each other in surprise before looking down to see Serena being surrounded in silver and gold. "What was that," questioned Michiru.
"It seems as though a soul bond was awaken within Serena," said Setsuna with a thoughtful look.
"Demo," said Mamoru, "Usako and I are soul mates!"
"It seems not, Kamen," said Haruka, "By the looks of it, Danny and koneko are actual soul mates. I've never seen the two energies gently surround koneko when she was with you."
"Same here," said Michiru.
"So, Danny and Serena are more than just their relationship stands for," questioned Kwan.
Before anyone could talk about it, a growl from the Doom Phantom had them on the defense once more. They forgot that the Doom Phantom was still with them. The evil energy that finally dissipated out of Serena and hit the Doom Phantom didn't do much but distract the Doom Phantom from hurting them. Standing in front of the still unconscious Serena, everyone was ready to defeat the Doom Phantom. "Let's get this over with," said Dash.
"Ryōkaishimashita/You got it," said everyone before battling the Doom Phantom on their terms.
AN: Well, this is a bit longer. (°ω°) Of course, Danny's going to find memories about her second past life and a bit of her third past life. He's traveling in her mind to find her! (^^) As I've thought before, the Ginzuishō has a mind of its own. So, I made it for the Ginzuishō to imitate Aeolian's energy through that kiss between Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Moon during the Sailor Moon R season. (≧◡≦) Don't judge me. ᵕ꒳ᵕ Also, it was kind of hard to pick memories and incorporate on what Danny would see. The italics, of course, shows the flashbacks. Yet, in this case, it is the memories.
