Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Danny Phantom. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Danny Phantom is created by Butch Hartmanand aired as an American animated action adventure television series by Nickelodeon in 2004.
Everyone could feel the tense air as they walked, and hide, from some occasional Youma or ghost while heading to King Endymion IV. If they couldn't hide, they would lead it to an abandoned room before more came and dealt with it… like with Prince Aragon. Prince Aragon stumbled upon the group while muttering about finding Plasmius. Unfortunately for him, Plasmius was already tucked away within the Fenton Thermos. It took a while to take down Prince Aragon because he was trying to grab Serena while flambéing the others. Everyone didn't take that TOO well. It irked Sam that it was the same during that so-called beauty pageant at school while it brought back bad memories about a certain Prince Demande. "I still say we dust that ghost for daring to hurt my precious Usako," said Mamoru.
"For the last time," said Dash, "My little sister isn't yours!"
"Also," said Tucker, "Aragon will have to answer to his crimes by Princess Dorathea."
"Dōshite (Why)," questioned Michiru.
"Dorathea is Aragon's little sister," explained Sam, "He was ruling over their lands and kept the people in the Dark Ages. It wasn't until I totally helped Dorathea to recognize girl power."
"Don't forget that Danny was the one who rescued you and the others as well," pointed out Tucker.
"Yeah," said Sam, "But, it wasn't until you two decided to try to rescue me when I could have by myself. I mean, I was almost tossed back until you two decided to crash the so-called reception."
Danny was silent as he thought back on that joke of a beauty pageant. He was just glad Serena wasn't a participant in that ridiculous thing. However, he felt kind of bad about dragging Sam into that event. Serena, on her part, looked at Danny with imploring eyes, curiosity shining through. Danny sheepish chuckled inwardly as he went and whispered into Serena's ear that after this mess with King Endymion IV, the two will sit down and tell each other their adventures. Hey. He was curious about her Sailor Moon adventures too. Serena nodded her head while ignoring the imploring looks SHE was getting from the Inners. "Jed," questioned Kwan, "Are we almost there?"
"We are almost at the throne room," said Jadeite, "However, I am unsure about this Pharaoh 90 that we haven't bumped into just yet."
"Ugh," groaned out Minako, "I wish that…"
"No wishing," shouted/interrupted Team Phantom, excluding Jazz.
"Why can't she say wish," questioned Rei with narrowed eyes.
"Two words," said Danny, "Ghost Genie."
"Ghost Genie," exclaimed a surprised Makoto.
"Ghost Genie," confirmed Tucker, "If you use the w word, she will be summoned to grant you your wish. However!"
"However," questioned Ami.
"However," said Sam, "She'll twist the w word up into something more sinister."
The Inners and Mamoru all thought about doing a wish to get Usagi to come back to them to Japan, but looking at the Outers who KNEW just what the Inners and Mamoru were going to attempt, the five had to wince. The five just want everything to go back to the way they were before Hotaru and Usagi died in Pharaoh 90. Danny could also feel what the five were up to and wrapped an arm around Serena's shoulder while discreetly glaring at the five with flashing glowing toxic green eyes. Sam, too, was tempted but past memories of one such wish that she made had her stopping in doing that. Tucker gave a knowing look at Sam as the others contemplated on what Team Phantom, aside from Jazz, said. "How do you know so much about this," questioned Jazz.
"I kind of used the w word to become something like Danny," confessed Tucker, "It twisted me to become something I am not."
"I also did the w word and never became friends with Tucker and Danny," confessed Sam, "Yet, my w word was reversed when I did another w word for our memories to return."
"At least, we don't have headaches from that reality straightening out," said Danny, "And before you come up with those stupid gems, Sam. Remember we already destroyed that, so this IS reality… past memories and all."
When Danny said something about reality straightening out, Sam turned her memories back to the time Tucker, Danny, and she went on that cross-country trip. She also turned her memories to the gems that powered an ancient artifact… the Reality Gauntlet. One gem stood out… the Gem of Fantasy. She was really tempted to tell this to the others that THIS was a work of the Gem of Fantasy because she being a Senshi was such a boy's fantasy. However, Danny shot her idea thought down by reminding her that it was DESTROYED long ago. Tucker was also reminiscing on that trip too. "Well, at least we had fun for a bit on what we wanted to do on that so-called vacation," said Tucker.
"Like seeing N.A.S.A.," said a smiling Danny.
"Hm," hummed Setsuna, "At least, we know that Danny isn't allergic to going to space."
"Why would you say that," questioned Dash.
"Well," said Setsuna, "When the time comes, Danny and Serena WILL tie the knot and rule of over the entire Solar System with us Senshi as Protectors."
"Don't forget the two have to travel passed our Solar System to gain allies on other planets," pointed out Michiru.
"Which I still don't like," said Haruka.
"Wait a minute," said Danny who shook himself out of his dreamy thought about N.A.S.A, "There are OTHER life forms out there?!"
"Other Planetary Systems like our own," said an amused Setsuna.
Danny looked like he was in Heaven at the reveal of other Planetary Systems Earth never discovered. Serena looked at her boyfriend in amusement, but she was happy he was happy. Even though there was tension while walking towards King Endymion IV, she was glad Danny could finally feel a bit relaxation at Setsuna's information. Kwan shook his head as he held Dash's shoulder. He knew that the bit about Setsuna telling them that Danny and Serena would tie the knot, so to speak, would prompt Dash to try and pummel said Danny. However, he wasn't fast enough to stop the stomping of ONE Mamoru Chiba. "Tie the knot," questioned Mamoru before exploding, "Tie the knot?! What do you mean by that!? She is meant to be with me!"
"I already told you time and time again, Endymion," said Setsuna with a raised eyebrow, "I have pushed you and Usagi towards that potential path through, what I believe, was the Ginzuishō at work. That potential path is now long gone since the hime has found her actual soul mate in one Daniel Fenton."
"Danny," said a quick response of Danny correcting Setsuna.
"Yet, I was her soul mate," said Mamoru, "And should still be hers!"
"Listen here, pretty boy," growled out Haruka, "I have had it with you! We came here to fight YOUR so-called past father so that the world… no, the entire Solar System… will not be threatened by him anymore. We are here to protect YOUR planet once more. After this, I vouch that koneko can choose her decision to stay or go. Not. You."
"Demo," started Mamoru.
"Quiet," said Danny who was looking around.
"Ghost sense," questioned Jazz quietly.
Danny nodded his head as he narrowed his eyes. He didn't know which ghost was going to pop up this time, but he knew that with all this negative emotions happening around their group, it was a ghost he had bad feelings about. Stepping closer and a bit in front of Serena, Danny looked around before a growl came from the shadows. Everyone tensed before a green panther appeared before them, an evil cat-like grin upon its face. Team Phantom already knew which ghost, or ghosts, they were going to deal with as they prepared to strengthen their minds from negative manipulations. "Bertrand," said Danny with a glare.
"And if you are here," said Tucker who looked around, "Spectra isn't far behind."
"Perspective of you boys," said Bertrand, "To think that Spectra is here."
"Of course she'll be here," scoffed Jazz, "I heard for Danny that you and she have always partnered up. Well, except for that one time she, Kitty, and Ember disappeared all of the guys in Amity Park."
"When was this," questioned Danny.
"When you and dad went on that father-son trip," said Jazz.
"Oh," said Danny.
Before anyone could move, another shadow appeared on the other side and slowly clapped its hands. This shadow stepped out to reveal Spectra, a woman with green eyes, red hair pointed in a U-shape with orange highlights, and wearing purple lipstick and eye-shadow. She, too, had a smirk on her face as she just felt all of the negativity surrounding the group of Senshi. She also felt the conflicting emotions happening that was surrounding the one Danny was protecting… Serena. Danny glared heatedly at Spectra because he just KNEW she was going to do something. "What's wrong, ghost child," questioned Spectra, "You don't seem happy to see me."
"Of course not," said Sam, "Who would after what you put us through?"
"Especially Danny," exclaimed Jazz.
"Yet, there is already tension here," said Spectra, "I can tell, along with hearing what this guy gestures to Mamoru was saying. So, tell me, Senshi. How is does it feel that your precious Princess wants to stay far away from you? You think she would after what you have done to her?"
"Watch your mouth," growled Rei.
"And you," said Spectra with a smirk, "Poor Mars. One of the Senshi who started to place the doubt within her hime. I know because the pools surrounding this castle shows the past of whomever steps into its domain. Anyways, Mars? Were you insecure that Usagi had all the luck in making friends? Or were you jealous she got the guy you wanted? Poor lonely Mars… forever to not find her own lover."
With each word that Spectra spat at Rei, it became clear what was really up with Rei. Rei, on her part, started to shake her head in denial as she backed away from the group. Minako was about to go to her, yet Spectra sprang in front of her and started to spout things that Minako didn't want anyone to know. Minako, too, was backing up in denial and was sinking in depression like Rei. Every person in the group could see how dangerous Spectra's words were, yet it was Jadeite, Haruka, and Danny's combined powers that hit Spectra, sending her away from the group. "Forgot to mention that she'll probably say some truths at you that will make you depressive, letting her feed off of those emotions," said a sheepish Tucker.
"You think," questioned a sarcastic Makoto.
"Anyways," said Hotaru, "Let's try not to listen to the wacko that loves to make other miserable. Maybe SHE's the one that's miserable, considering the people she hangs out with."
"Hey," said an offended Bertrand.
"Eh," said Danny who ignored Bertrand's offended tone, "Ember and Kitty aren't that bad compared to her."
"Who is Kitty," questioned Ami, "Jazz mentioned her and this Ember before."
"Another ghost," said Danny, "Ember and Kitty are ghosts, and after this, I'll introduce you guys to Kitty. I wanted to speak to her boyfriend, Johnny, about riding his motorcycle with Beautiful one of these days."
"Not without a license," piped up Jazz.
Danny cheekily smiled at Jazz right before Bertrand jumped and pushed him away from Spectra. The other Senshi were also trying hard to pin Spectra while NOT listening to whatever she was sprouting. Of course, the Reincarnates were split in dealing with Spectra. Dash and Kwan were the most helpful with Bertrand as Bertrand was still a green panther. Dash and Kwan had the strength to pull Bertrand off of Danny and started to pummel said panther with their bare hands, especially when Kwan coated his hands with his Saturnian powers to make sure the panther was still touchable when intangible. That was the easiest capture of Bertrand until everyone stopped to see that Serena was captured by Spectra's shadowy ghostly form after Spectra became intangible and invisible to sneak up on her within the battle. "Moon," called out Hotaru in fear.
"Now," said Spectra, "Princess here is going to come with me for some diagnoses."
"No way are you going to bring Moon with you," called out Setsuna.
"Why not," questioned Spectra, "After all, all those pretty little memories she regained. Something is BOUND to pop up. Like turns Serena to her How about you being insecure being with the ghost boy? After all, he ignored your existence since the THIRD grade."
"I… don't know what you are talking about," lied Serena.
"Oh," questioned Spectra with a smirk, "Then, how about your protectors always undermining your commands? The Inners sure did countless times, especially when your so-called precious daughter came back from the future. They always treated her much better than you, especially your so-called Prince Charming. It looks to me like you don't have a place as their Princess if they wanted someone mature and responsible… like your future daughter."
Serena bit her lip very harshly as she remembered, especially that one instance that her potential future daughter ran away. She told the Inners to help her find her, yet all she got was a reprimanding before the Inners split up to look for her. She also remembered how every time she was being herself, the Inners would hound her on how immature and irresponsible she was being. Everyone there could see how Serena was slowly slipping into depression after each reveal about her second life and before she and Danny had gotten together. Danny, on his part, saw that particular third grade memory and winced. He also, however, was getting angry at how blunt Spectra was being and making his Beautiful fall into misery. He didn't know what was fueling whatever power he was feeling in his soul, but he cried out in outrage before flying straight into Spectra in warp speed and got her to release Serena. "Now, you listen here, Spectra," spat out Danny who was standing in front of Serena protectively, "You can say whatever you want to say to me. But! You crossed the line when you went after my friends, especially my girlfriend."
"Oh yeah," snarked back Spectra, "And what are you going to do about it? You were always a failure… and a freak. As I said before, you are not a ghost, not even a boy! Who cares for a thing like you?"
"I do," spoke up Serena for the first time, "I care for him. I am also in love with him."
"I care and love him, too," said Jazz, "He's the best little brother a girl could ask for… reincarnation and all."
"Best friend a guy could have," said Tucker.
"And he's going to kick your butt," said Sam with a smirk on HER face.
With that, Danny flew fast and straight at Spectra before punching her in the face. He didn't care that Spectra was actually a woman, but as a person? Spectra deserved this for causing harm to Serena's already fragile psyche. He didn't even WANT to see Serena in a catatonic state again. With one more punch, Danny uncapped the Fenton Thermos and sucked Spectra in before recapping it. Danny breathed a sigh of relief before turning around and hugging Serena into his chest. "Are you alright, Beautiful," questioned Danny.
"I think so," said Serena quietly.
"You know that what she said about third grade isn't true," said Danny, "If we were friends in the third grade as well, I'm sure I would have dated you a lot sooner."
"Danny," breathed out Serena.
"Uh, not to break this up," said Jadeite, "Demo, did you know that you are glowing icy gold, Aeolian-sama?"
"Say what," questioned Danny.
AN: Whelp! I'll leave it here! (^.^)/ I know I am writing for my other fanfic stories, but it's also because I got writer's block in leading the group towards King Endymion IV. (－‸ლ) It's not easy for the group to sneak towards the throne room while there are ghosts and Youma running around. Good thing that they are kind of sneaky until they got closer to the throne room. They just HAD to run into a ghost after doing some ghost information dump on those unaware. ʅ(́◡◝)ʃ Anyways, I think that the next chapter will probably be when they FINALLY get to the throne room. Not sure. Still a bit of writer's block for this. (~ж~) Also! After this fanfic is done, I am NOT making a sequel no matter what people want. It's my fanfic and I decide when it ends. (╯°▽°)╯ So… happy reading and see ya whenever I knock the wall down from this writer's block. |ω･`)
