I can't really say much else, so enjoy!
There is a lime in this chapter. If you're uncomfortable reading such a thing, then please skip over it. Thank you and enjoy the chapter!
Chapter 5 - Awakening the Earth Dragoon & the Preliminaries!
Shikamaru could only watch on in horrid fascination as Naruto tortured Sasuke, his screams echoing throughout the Forest of Death for all in the nearby area to hear. He knew that, if this was any normal circumstance, his blond-haired friend would never do something like this. So, looking at the mark upon his friend's neck where the markings originated from, he knew instinctively that whatever kind of seal was used on him was affecting his actions and his mind.
However, right now none of that was important. The fourteen year-old Nara heir wanted to put a stop to what was happening, but he knew that if he made to act, there was a very good chance that his friend would turn on him instead. So, all he could do was watch as Naruto tortured their teammate. And if he had to admit something to himself...Shikamaru couldn't find it in himself to really care all that much about what happened to Sasuke. He wasn't a friend. He wasn't a comrade. He was just an asshole that thought he was better than everyone else and treated everyone as if they were trash. If Naruto was to kill him here and now? Well, Shikamaru wouldn't exactly lose any sleep over it. Sure he'd be a little horrified at first, but he'd get over it. And that thought disturbed Shikamaru a little.
Meanwhile, Haku watched on with a small smirk on her face. She hated Sasuke. He was a little punk that treated her beloved Naruto-kun like trash. It was obvious he was jealous of him due to his stupid inferiority complex he had. But his superiority complex...weird. Now that she thought about it, how could a person have both a superiority and an inferiority complex at the same time? Thinking about it just made her realize that Sasuke was one seriously fucked up individual. Anyways, as she was thinking earlier, because of his superiority complex, he couldn't admit that he was jealous of Naruto because he knew, deep down, that Naruto was superior to him. So he tried everything he could to bring Naruto down and make him believe that Naruto was worthless compared to him, the 'Great Uchiha'. Tch, pathetic.
Still, she didn't like that damned seal being on her Naruto-kun and wanted it gone already. She knew the Kyuubi was likely working on it, but it was taking far too long for her liking. As she watched on, she was kind of hoping that Naruto killed Sasuke before he returned to normal, despite how morbid such a thought was. Still, to each their own as they so often say.
Meanwhile, unknown to the duo, off behind some bushes to the side sat Team 10: Sakura Haruno, Ino Yamanaka, and Choji Akimichi. They had arrived on the scene earlier, when the Oto Genin had begun to spring all of Naruto's traps he had laid out for them. This meant that they had been watching everything that had transpired between Naruto and Sasuke, and it was tearing Sakura and Ino apart inside. Sakura most of all, considering she cared deeply for both boys.
Ino had tried to run out to save her precious Sasuke-kun, but both Sakura and Choji had held her down, telling her it was far too dangerous. When she snapped at them, Sakura looked at her with tears in her eyes and said, "Don't you think I want to do something too, Ino? Look at them! If...if we got in the way now, we'd die. Naruto...Naruto-kun...something's messing with him right now. Somebody did something to him. He's not himself right now and whatever's happening to him is making him act all crazy. I don't know how to help him Ino. And I don't want Sasuke-kun to die either, but I don't know what we can do!"
Ino clenched her fists so tightly she drew blood, but knew that they didn't have any options available to them right now that would allow them to save Sasuke. She didn't have to like it, but she knew that, if something didn't change soon, the boy she loved was going to die. She hated feeling so powerless!
Choji wasn't faring much better. He hated seeing Naruto in such a state. He knew Naruto was a good person and seeing him behaving like this bothered him a great deal. Whatever that thing on his neck was was bad news and he wanted it gone. He just wished he knew what he could do to help out, if anything. As for Sasuke, sure he didn't like him, but he wouldn't wish death on him. Choji was a really nice guy after all and wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Inside Naruto's Seal
The Kyuubi snarled as it destroyed yet another serpent slithering around in Naruto's mindscape. "Blasted things! This fucking seal is pissing me off!" it shouted out before sending out a large burst of chakra, destroying every serpent throughout Naruto's seal. It was at this point that the fragment of Orochimaru's soul that he left in the seal appeared, that arrogant smirk of his on his face as he stared up at the Kyuubi behind its bars. "And here's the little snake now. I bet you think you're reaaaaal special, don't you Orochimaru?"
Orochimaru's soul fragment cackled gleefully and looked around at his surroundings for a moment before looking back into the Kyuubi's eyes. "Why yes. I believe this makes for a fine home. Your, hmm…'container' will make for a fine vessel. All this power at my fingertips. I believe he's what is called a 'Dragoon'? And then there's you. Oh, the power I will have at my disposal. And really, the Yondaime did a wonderful job sealing you. Locked away behind that cage of yours, there's really nothing you can do to stop me now, is there little pet?" Orochimaru asked rhetorically, a nasty little smirk on his face.
At this, the Kyuubi smirked and began to laugh. Its laugh began to echo off the walls in the mindscape and Orochimaru's soul fragment felt a cold chill creeping down its spine. When the Kyuubi finally calmed itself, it spoke in a cold, menacing tone. "Foolish mortal, you know nothing of what I'm capable of. Naruto-kun and I made a deal, you see. Take another look at the seal."
Orochimaru's soul fragment, feeling a sense of dread creeping up on him, looked at the seal and froze. The seal on the cage wasn't there! It was gone. But...but...wait… Shit. I didn't look for the seal on the cage when I appeared. I just assumed it was there. That means… Orochimaru could only watch in horror as the Kyuubi pushed the cage door open and stepped out, towering over him. Before he could so much as move a muscle, the Kyuubi was upon him, its corrosive chakra destroying the soul fragment completely.
Once it was gone, the Kyuubi began to shrink down and transform, taking on a human form. Stretching her arms above her head, the Kyuubi smiled and yawned. "Well, that takes care of that. Naruto-kun should be rid of that pesky seal now. He'd better thank me later." she said to herself before she decided to go and take a nap. "I just wish he'd change this damn sewer already. I'll have to ask him about that later."
Outside Naruto's Mind
Naruto was furious with his teammate. He wasn't entirely sure how he had come across the Red-Eyed Dragoon Spirit, but he had a damn good idea. So, deciding to ask, he looked his teammate in the eyes as he stabbed his lance into Sasuke's shoulder and twisted it, eliciting yet another scream from him. "Orochimaru gave you this, didn't he?!" he demanded.
Sasuke howled in pain and quickly nodded. "Y-Yes! He promised it would make me more powerful than I could imagine! But it wouldn't work for me! I don't know how he got it! I swear!"
Naruto scowled and looked down at the Dragoon Spirit in his free hand before he slipped it away into the pouch of Dragoon Spirits strapped to his waist. It would seem he would need to have a little 'discussion' with Gramps and Rose. Danzo was in cahoots with Orochimaru. But that wasn't important right now. What was important was punishing this traitor!
Frowning to himself, Naruto decided to ask one last question of his teammate. "If given the chance, would you have betrayed the village and gone to Orochimaru because he promised he could give you more power?"
Sasuke's eyes widened at this and he stammered out a question of his own. "H-How did you…?"
Naruto twisted his lance again, eliciting yet another ear-piercing scream from his teammate. "Answer the goddamn question!" Naruto shouted as the marks began to recede slowly from his face, the sure sign that the Kyuubi was starting to make strides in combating the seal.
Sasuke grimaced and looked away. "Yes...I would have gladly gone to Orochimaru if it meant more power to kill my traitor of a brother. Only my ambition matters! To hell with everything and everyone else! I WILL kill my brother and not you, nor anyone else will stop me damn it!" Sasuke shouted, somewhat crazed at the end as his mind began to shatter, the pain, the desperation, everything getting to him as he began to flip through hand seals for a jutsu that might be able to help him fight off his teammate.
Sadly for Sasuke, that moment never came for him. With a disappointed sigh, Naruto retracted his spear and thrust it through Sasuke's heart, causing him to gasp and clutch at the weapon weakly. As the light began to leave his eyes, he could only stare up at Naruto in shock. He was shocked that his kind-hearted teammate would ever do such a thing. But, what shocked him most of all was that the seal was gone, meaning Naruto had killed him with a level head, of his own free will. He wasn't being influenced anymore. So...why?
When the last bit of life left Sasuke, Naruto retracted his spear and cleaned the blood off of the blade before strapping his weapon back into position on his back. Sighing to himself, he knelt down and closed Sasuke's eyes with a frown. "Ino...Sakura...Choji...you can come out now. I know you're there." he said with a sad tone in his voice.
The three of them slowly stepped out into the field before Ino rushed over to Sasuke's body and fell at his side, crying over him. Sakura meanwhile went to Naruto and hugged him. Choji on the other hand walked over to Shikamaru and began to talk to him about everything that had happened thus far.
"Naruto-kun…?" Sakura questioned unsurely, "Did you really have to kill him?"
Naruto frowned at this and wrapped his arms around Sakura, gently rubbing her back up and down, trying to soothe her worries. "You heard him Sakura-chan. Sasuke admitted that, if given the chance, he would turn traitor in a heartbeat if it meant he could get the chance to kill his brother. And...he was willing to kill me as well. At first, I was under the influence of Orochimaru's curse seal, and it was taking everything I had to try and fight it. But at the end there...I had the choice to either spare his life and let him turn traitor and someday, potentially harm the village and/or its people...or put an end to him now before he had the chance. I chose to protect the ninja of our village. It's...it's painful Sakura-chan. I didn't want to kill him, but I had to end him before he could hurt anyone. Please...try to understand?"
Sakura could only hold onto Naruto tighter and nodded. "I do Naruto-kun. I do. And I don't blame you for this. Ino...may hate you for a while, and she might even swear revenge for this, but I'll try to help her through this. I'll try to talk her down from her pain. But...I'm here for you Naruto-kun if you need me." she promised before she let him go and turned to try and console her friend, Ino.
Shikamaru sighed as he looked at Sasuke's dead body. After a brief moment, he looked to Naruto and shook his head. "You know the Council is going to throw a fit over this, right? You sure you can handle that? It's going to be pretty damn troublesome." he said tiredly.
Naruto sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "They'll just have to deal with it. I've got you guys here to back me up and say you heard what he said. He admitted that he'd turn traitor in a heartbeat. Besides, the civilian council can bitch all they want, but at the end of the day they don't have the power to do anything to me." he said with a shrug of his shoulders.
Shikamaru chuckled and nodded his head. "True enough. Still though, we can't just leave his body here. And more importantly, we need to decide what to do with his eyes." he said, trying to think of what they could, and more importantly, should do with Sasuke's Sharingan eyes.
Haku shrugged at this point and looked at Shikamaru. "Well, we could always take his eyes and have them transplanted into Naruto. Unless you want them Shikamaru? They might be pretty helpful."
The young Nara heir shook his head at this point and crossed his arms in an X shape in front of himself. "Nope. Nooo thank you. I don't want to have Sasuke's eyes transplanted into my head. I don't need that kind of trouble. I say give 'em to Naruto. That okay with you man?"
Naruto blinked a couple of times before looking down at Sasuke and frowning. "I...guess? I've never really thought about it before, but it might be helpful. I'm willing to take any advantage I can get really." he said, though it really sounded as if he was trying to convince himself.
Haku frowned at this and walked over to Naruto, placing her hand on his shoulder. When he turned to look at her, she kissed him on the lips for a moment before pulling back. "Naruto-kun, listen to me. The Sharingan are a tool to be used just like any other. Like a kunai or a shuriken, they are to be used as a weapon when the situation calls for it. They will only make you stronger. Strong enough to help protect your loved ones. Strong enough to ensure that nothing ever hurts Rose-san again. Strong enough that nothing will ever threaten any of us again. Do you understand me?" she stressed, trying to get the message through to him that the Sharingan would only benefit him in the long run.
Before he could answer, however, Ino shot up to her feet and pointed at them angrily. "You stay away from Sasuke-kun you monsters! How dare you do this to him?! And now you want to take his eyes?! What the hell is wrong with you?! You're just...you're monsters! Why Naruto?! Why did you kill him?! He was your teammate! You didn't have to kill him! Why?!"
Sakura and Choji quickly dragged Ino away from them and restrained her, allowing Shikamaru to move to Sasuke's body and neatly remove his eyes, much to Ino's protest. He sealed them within a storage scroll for safekeeping and then stood up again. Glancing over his shoulder at Ino, the pineapple-haired young man sighed and shook his head in disappointment before he returned to his remaining teammates. "We...should probably get going. It wouldn't be wise to stay here anymore." he advised.
Haku narrowed her eyes at Ino and nodded once. "I agree. If we stay here any longer, I'm likely to pound a certain bitch into the ground." she said somewhat angrily as she clenched her right hand into a fist at her side.
Naruto frowned at this and placed a gentle hand upon Haku's shoulder. When she turned to him, the blonde shook his head and smiled at her. "It's okay. Let's just go." he said before kneeling down and lifting Sasuke's body into his arms. Afterwards, the trio leapt off, moving away from the area at a rapid pace.
As they moved on, Shikamaru decided to inform his teammates of something. "Just so you know, that Oto kunoichi? I had her retrieve her team's scroll for me. It was the Heaven Scroll we needed, so we can make our way to the tower from here. So let's alter our course and make way for the tower before we run into anymore trouble." he said, hoping that they didn't encounter anymore teams or end up in another troublesome situation like the one with Orochimaru.
About 10 Minutes Later
Sadly, a troublesome situation is exactly what they stumbled into as they had to dodge a series of lava bullets fired at the trees they were in. Leaping to the ground, they came face-to-face with their new foes: a team from Iwagakure. Standing at the head of this team was the kunoichi that he had sat next to in the first exam, the one who kept glaring at him the entire time before the test began. "Oh goodie, it's you again." Naruto said before releasing a sigh. "Look, I don't know what I did to piss you off, but I'm sorry, okay? Can we please just all be on our way and forget we ever met?"
The Iwa kunoichi ignored his comment and pointed at him. "Blondie, I'm only going to ask this once. Are you the son of the Yondaime Hokage or not?"
Naruto sighed at this and, after laying Sasuke's body on the ground, he shook his head in disbelief. "Is that what all of this is about? You're upset because I look like the Yondaime Hokage?"
The young woman growled and stomped her foot on the ground, clearly feeling impatient. "Just answer the damn question already! Stop wasting my time!"
Sighing again, Naruto palmed his face and groaned in agitation. "Yes! Okay? My dad was Minato Namikaze. But if you're attacking me because my dad was the Yondaime Hokage and you hold some kind of grudge because of what happened during fucking war time then you're being ridiculous! And I'm damn sure your Tsuchikage would agree with me! So stop being a pain-in-the-ass and grow the fuck up!"
Before anyone could say anything else, everyone noticed a bright glow emanating from within the pouch strapped to Naruto's hip and he couldn't help but grimace. "No...please don't tell me…" Opening it up, he reached in and pulled out the Golden Dragoon Spirit, which was clearly reacting to one of the three Genin standing across from him. "Son-of-a-bitch." he said.
The Iwa kunoichi held a hand before her eyes to try and block the light emanating from the strange orb as it was quite blinding. "What the hell is that thing? What are you trying to do you asshole?"
Sighing, Naruto walked up to her and took her hand, placing the Dragoon Spirit in her palm. Within an instant, she was transformed into beautiful golden armor with radiant yellow wings sprouting out of her back. However, she was missing her weapon, naturally. With a sigh, Naruto palmed his face and shook his head. "What's...your name?" he asked her.
The Iwa kunoichi looked into Naruto's eyes and stuttered out, "K-Kurotsuchi. My name is Kurotsuchi. W-Why? And what the hell is this?"
Walking up to her again, Naruto used his magic to help Kurotsuchi out of her transformation and pointed at the Dragoon Spirit clutched in her hand. "Well Kurotsuchi, my name is Naruto Uzumaki. I'm the last Uzumaki that I know of. I didn't even know my dad was the Yondaime Hokage until four years ago. So if you really have some kind of grudge against me for that, I'm sorry, but it's kinda stupid." he said bluntly.
Kurotsuchi frowned at this, but before she could say anything, Naruto continued. "Anyways, what you're holding in your hand is what's known as a Dragoon Spirit. A very long time ago, more than 100,000 years ago, maybe even longer than that, a great war was fought between a race known as Winglies and the Dragoons, special people that could control Dragons. The Winglies were our suppressors and were a corrupt people led by a man named Melbu Frahma. He was a real monster, believe me." Naruto explained with a scowl on his face.
Kurotsuchi interrupted at this point. "Wait, how can I believe any of this? Dragoons? Winglies? What the heck are you even talking about? Do you have any proof of this?" she asked, now much calmer than she was before.
Naruto quirked a brow and held up his own Dragoon Spirit, the Jade Dragoon Spirit, and transformed before her eyes before he flapped his wings and began to fly around the clearing they were in. Eventually he swooped down and circled her before he began to hover in front of her with a smile on his face. "This is what a Dragoon is Kurotsuchi. You transformed into one when you held the Dragoon Spirit in your hand just moments ago. You are capable of using magic now as well. Here, watch." he said before he turned and focused on his mana before he unleashed his first spell, Wing Blaster, on a bunch of trees in front of him, shredding the trunks and causing them to topple over.
Turning back to Kurotsuchi, he grinned at her before reverting back to normal. "Pretty cool, huh?" he asked. "Anyways, a very dear friend of mine and someone I love very, very much named Rose can explain absolutely everything you could ever need to know about the Dragoons. She lives here in Konoha. But...I have to let you know something now Kuro-chan." he said, not noticing the slight blush on her face at the affectionate nickname he just gave her. "Now that you're a Dragoon, you're going to have to convince your Tsuchikage to allow you to stay here in Konohagakure. The Dragoons need to stick together. We have a very important mission, though we don't quite know what it is at the moment, and we kiiinda need to train for it and everything too. Rose is the only one that can train us in how to use our abilities too. She can teach us everything we could ever need to know about being a Dragoon. So...yeah. You kinda need to stay here in Konoha. Umm...can you do that?" he asked awkwardly.
Kurotsuchi looked conflicted. Frowning, she looked down at her feet and thought over her options. On the one hand, she loved her village and wanted to be Tsuchikage one day. But on the other, she really did want to find some higher purpose for herself. She was tired of the mundane lifestyle she was living and wanted more excitement in her life. This? This felt like a higher calling to her. But...could she really move to Konoha of all places? Sighing, she figured she'd just have to send a letter to her grandfather and see what he had to say.
"I...need to send a letter to my grandpa. He's the Tsuchikage of my village. I'll inform him of what's going on and why I need to stay. Hopefully he'll understand. If not...I...I don't know Naruto. All I can do is hope he understands." Kurotsuchi said.
Naruto smiled and nodded his head in understanding. "Don't worry Kuro-chan. If worse comes to worst, Rose-chan can get the point across easily enough. I guarantee it." he said with a devilish grin on his face. "Now, does your team have both scrolls? If so, we can travel to the tower together if you'd like?" he suggested.
Kurotsuchi nodded with a smile on her face. "Yep. We were headed there when we heard your team. Let's get a move on Naruto." she said with a smile.
And with that, they were off once again, after Naruto retrieved Sasuke's body again, of course.
At the tower
Once they had reached the tower, the two groups read the mural and quickly realized they needed to open their scrolls. So, doing just that, they watched as their senseis appeared in twin bursts of smoke. When Kakashi appeared, he was shocked to see Sasuke dead in Naruto's arms. Saddened by this, he was about to announce their disqualification from the exams, but Shikamaru held up a hand and silenced him.
"Kakashi-sensei, before you announce our disqualification from the exams, you'll want to hear our story first. Orochimaru assaulted us in the forest. And...Naruto had to take Sasuke's life. We'll explain once we get inside, but you'll want to summon Hokage-sama for this. After that, we'll allow Hokage-sama and yourself to decide if we are allowed to continue forth in these exams or not. Whatever is decided, we'll abide by the decision." he stated.
The silver-haired Jonin's eye widened considerably and he nodded once before allowing them entry into the tower, only halting them to take Sasuke's body from Naruto. Afterwards, he disappeared in a Body Flicker Technique to go and report to the Hokage immediately. Meanwhile, Kurotsuchi and her team were astonished by what they had just heard. Naruto and his team had encountered Orochimaru and survived to tell the tale?! Amazing!
Twenty Minutes Later
Hearing a loud, almost frantic knocking on their room door, Team 7 announced that it was unlocked and watched as the Hokage, Kakashi, and Rose all entered the room, quickly closing the door behind them before activating a silencing seal to soundproof the room. The Hokage and Kakashi each took seats on one of the beds in the room while Rose opted to remain standing.
After a time to gather his thoughts, the Sandaime Hokage proceeded to speak his mind. "Kakashi-san has informed me that your team has encountered Orochimaru in the Forest of Death. Is this correct?"
Shikamaru nodded, a deep frown on his face as he looked to Naruto. "Yes Hokage-sama. We fought him with everything we had, as there was little to no chance of escape from him. Orochimaru was after Sasuke and Naruto, but I'm not aware of the reason why." he explained.
Naruto sighed and shook his head. "He promised us both power. Orochimaru even gave Sasuke the Red-Eyed Dragoon Spirit. And I'm pretty damn sure you know who he got that from. Danzo and Orochimaru have been in contact Gramps, they're working together behind your back. Is this enough proof for you or do you still need more before you finally take some damn action against that crippled bastard?"
Rose went wide-eyed at this revelation and rushed over to Naruto, quickly taking him by the shoulders and looking him in the eyes. "Do you really have it back?" she asked, a smile forming on her face.
Naruto smiled happily at her and nodded once. "Yes, but…" Sighing at this, Naruto reached up and gently pried Rose's hands off of him. Looking down, Naruto shook his head sadly. "Gramps, Kakashi-sensei, Rose-chan...Orochimaru marked Sasuke and me with a curse seal before he left. Before I passed out, I got the four of us to safety and laid out traps to protect us." he explained.
Closing his eyes, Naruto took in a shaky breath and continued on with his explanation. "The Oto Genin tried to attack us while we were unconscious in the morning. My traps apparently killed one, but Sasuke...while he was under the effects of the curse mark, he killed another. But then...he tried to use the power of the Red-Eyed Dragoon Spirit. When it didn't work for him, he tried to destroy it." he explained, anger welling up in him at the memory.
Rose snarled at this and clenched her fists angrily at her sides. She knew that the Dragoon Spirits were nigh impossible to destroy, but still, just the thought of some spoiled little shit like that attempting to destroy her beloved's Dragoon Spirit just because it wouldn't work for him was infuriating! "What happened next Naruto?" she questioned, trying to remain calm.
Reaching into his pouch, Naruto handed the Red-Eyed Dragoon Spirit to Rose to try and help calm her down. Seeing it was having the effect he desired, he looked back at his 'Gramps' as he called him. "When he tried...I attacked him, also under the effect of the curse mark placed on me at the time. But...it was more than that. I was enraged that he was trying to destroy the Dragoon Spirit stolen from us by Danzo. I demanded to know how he got it...and he told me that even if it wouldn't work for him, it was still too good for the likes of me to have. Sasuke...was such a spoiled brat Gramps." Naruto said with a shake of the head and a heavy sigh.
"Anyways...I attacked him after recovering the Spirit." Naruto explained. "I...began to feel the effects of the curse mark receding after a time. I...confirmed it with Sasuke that he had, indeed, been given the Dragoon Spirit by Orochimaru, thus confirming that he had received it from Danzo. But...more than that, I asked Sasuke if he would leave the village to go to Orochimaru for power if it would ensure that he could one day kill Itachi. Sasuke went mad and went on a rant, saying he'd gladly go to Orochimaru for power, leaving the village and he said nobody would stop him, insinuating that he would bring harm to anyone that dared try and get in his way to reaching his goal of getting the power needed to kill Itachi. Sasuke even tried to kill me. He had gone completely mad at this point Gramps. There are witnesses that can attest to this. Shikamaru, Haku-chan, Sakura-chan, and Choji. Ino was there too, but she's a die hard Sasuke fangirl and...she's rather pissed at me at the moment."
Haku sighed and shook her head. "It's all true Hokage-sama. It was a truly volatile situation and I don't see how it could have ended any differently. If it helps matters any, I believe Naruto-kun did the right thing. By killing Sasuke now, he has prevented him from getting our ninja seriously hurt or potentially even killed in the future in an effort to either retrieve him or hunt him down for execution for turning traitor." she said.
Hiruzen sighed at this and rubbed at the bridge of his nose in frustration. "Once word gets out that you killed Sasuke, Naruto-kun...we're going to have a village-wide riot on our hands. The civilians are going to go crazy and demand blood, but I think a lot of ninja will probably be thanking you." he said with a humorless chuckle. "I know your friends wouldn't tell anyone...but young Ino will definitely be telling people you killed him. There's no stopping it from happening, even if I were to forbid her from doing so. I could even put a law in place and she'd likely do it anyways in an effort to see you punished for your 'sins'." Hiruzen said with a heavy sigh. "If it helps any Naruto-kun...you did the right thing." he said with a soft smile at his surrogate grandchild.
Naruto smiled softly at his grandfather figure and nodded in thanks to him. "Thank you Gramps. So...what do we do?" he questioned, unsure of what they could do to quell the raging storm that was soon to come.
"There's nothing much we can do aside from weathering the storm, I'm afraid. I'll send you out on missions that take you out of the village as often as possible until the heat dies down. Hopefully then things will be better for you in the village again. But for a while...you'll need to be extra careful if and when you go into the village. I recommend you always travel with someone when entering the village. Okay Naruto-kun?" he suggested.
Naruto sighed and nodded his head. It sucked, but he figured it was better than the alternative of getting mobbed and potentially murdered in the damn street by hundreds of pissed off villagers. That would really suck. "I gotcha Gramps. But...umm...what about the Exams? Are we disqualified? Or can we still compete? What have you guys decided?" he questioned curiously.
The aged Hokage looked at Kakashi before turning and smiling at the members of Team 7. "As the Hokage, I've decided to let the remainder of Team 7 remain in the Exams. Your circumstances were...extreme and you faced a great deal of hardships in the Forest that you could never have prepared for. Therefore, I will allow your team to carry on into the final round. I wish you three the best of luck in the exams. Now, if you don't mind, I have to go call the Council together and explain to them what has happened and nip this problem in the bud before Ino can spread false information about Sasuke's death to anyone." he said with another humorless chuckle.
Kakashi sighed as he looked at his team. "For what it's worth...I'm sorry you had to go through what you did in the forest. And...I'm sorry you had to do what you did Naruto-kun. It can't have been easy, but know that you did the right thing. I'm proud of you for it. I just wish it didn't have to happen." he said with another sigh following afterwards as he followed the Hokage out of the room.
Rose stayed behind for a moment, handing the Red-Eyed Dragoon Spirit back to Naruto to place back into the pouch. Looking down at him, she decided to pose a question to him. "So, have you found another Dragoon yet Naruto?" she asked curiously.
Naruto smiled and nodded, a grin on his face. "Yep! Her name is Kurotsuchi, though I call her Kuro-chan for short. Turns out she's the holder of the Golden Dragoon Spirit. She's from Iwagakure though, which means she needs to convince her grandpa, the Tsuchikage, to let her stay here. If she can't, you're gonna need to scare him into letting her stay here or something." he explained.
Rose sighed and shook her head. "Damn. I should have figured that someone from that country would be the Dragoon of Earth. Anyone else I should know about?" she asked.
Naruto nodded and looked down at the pouch again. "Yeah. There were two Dragoon Spirits shining, but I don't know who the second Dragoon is yet. I'm hoping to find whoever the second one is here in the third Exam." he explained.
After a moment, Naruto began to chuckle. When Rose looked at him curiously, Naruto decided to explain. "Heh, I just think it's kind of funny. When I encountered Kuro-chan in the Forest of Death, she was trying to kill me. Just like Kongol was trying to kill Dart the first few times you guys encountered him. The similarities between the current Dragoons and the ones of the past are just...amusing I guess. It's just interesting to me."
Rose blinked at that and thought about it for a moment. Bringing a hand up to her chin, she closed her eyes and lost herself in her thoughts. First she thought about Naruto and his relation to Lavitz and Albert. She could definitely see the similarities between the three of them, thinking about how chivalrous they were, and how intelligent Naruto was as well. Naruto was also exceptionally kind.
Then there was Haku and Meru. They were both incredibly perky and upbeat people. Both were also rather flirtatious now that she thought about it. And, annoyingly enough, both got on her nerves on more than one occasion. Sighing, she decided not to think on that too much.
Kakashi and Haschel. Sighing to herself, she realized that both were perverted old men. They were also both incredibly skilled in their chosen professions. Haschel a martial arts master and Kakashi a ninja of incredible talent. Whether she liked it or not, she couldn't help but respect the both of them, though she still wanted to burn all of Kakashi's despicable books.
And despite not knowing much about this Kurotsuchi girl, the fact that she tried to kill Naruto was quite similar to how her group first met Kongol in the past. Chuckling a bit, she had to admit that Naruto had a good point.
Nodding at him, she smiled at Naruto and gave him a gentle hug. "You're right Naruto. I'm surprised I didn't notice it before. I guess the Dragoons of this age inherited more than just the Dragoon Spirits. They've inherited the traits of the old Dragoons as well."
The young, fourteen year-old blond hugged Rose back with a smile on his face. After a moment, however, he looked into her eyes. "Um, Rose-chan...don't you have to go? I don't really want you to, but…"
Rose sighed and nodded her head. "I suppose I must. I'll see you later Naruto." she said before she smirked and leaned down just a bit to plant a kiss on his lips. "That's a present for doing as you promised. Congratulations." she said with a grin before she left the room.
Haku grinned at him and hugged onto his arm tightly, burying it in between her breasts. "I'm happy for you! She's finally returning your feelings Naru-kun! Now, what do you say we 'celebrate' a bit, hm?"
Naruto blushed profusely at this and looked into Haku's eyes. "W-W-What?! What are you talking about Haku-chan?!"
Haku grinned and leaned in, whispering in his ear. "Why, I dunno. Maybe a little of this, a little of that, you know, 'play around' a little. I touch you, you touch me, we get each other off...mmmmmm. I like the sound of that, don't you?" she suggested with a perverted giggle escaping her lips.
At this, Naruto went a very deep shade of red and steam was practically pouring out of his ears. Shikamaru, seeing where this was going, quickly rose from his bed and walked to the door. "If you two are going to do something like that, I'm going to get out of here. You two...umm...yeah, have fun. How troublesome." he muttered to himself before leaving the room.
Lime Time (Don't Like, Don't Read; Skip to the End of the Lime)
As soon as he was gone, Haku turned to Naruto and kissed him passionately on the lips, slowly snaking her left hand into his pants where she began to gently stroke his cock. When he gasped, she grinned and began to place light, butterfly kisses along his jaw and collarbone before nuzzling into his neck. "I love you Naruto-kun. I love you so much it hurts sometimes." she said before she returned to placing kisses all over his face and neck.
Naruto moaned, his penis becoming erect, a full 9 ½ inches in her hand. Unable to resist anymore, he reached up and pulled off his shirt, throwing it off to the side where it landed on one of the beds. Then, he took hold of Haku's shirt and helped her remove it, though this caused her to release her hold on his cock temporarily. Still, it was a small price to pay as he then helped her unhook her bra and allowed her beautiful, full breasts to bounce free of their confines. Looking at them in all their glory, he couldn't help but marvel at them for a time before he reached up and cupped them in his hands, gently massaging the nipples with his thumbs, causing her to shiver slightly as goosebumps began to form all along her arms and legs.
"N-Naruto-kun, don't tease me like that." she pleaded as she unhooked his pants and allowed them to drop to the floor where he then stepped out of them. Shortly after, she helped him out of his boxers as well and marveled at his naked form. When he began to massage her breasts, she gasped and collapsed against him, her breasts now pressing against his chest, but his hands were still massaging them ever so gently. "Oh Kami, that feels so good Naru-kun. You're a natural at this." she said.
Naruto smiled at her and leaned in, capturing Haku's lips in another soft, passionate kiss as he released her high C-cup breasts. As they kissed, he moved his hands down and helped her out of her pants and panties, allowing her to be truly bare before him. Lifting her into his arms, Naruto carried her over to one of the beds and laid her down on it before climbing on it beside her. Pulling back from the kiss, Naruto finally said the words she wanted to hear for so long now. "Haku-chan...I love you too. You and Rose-chan both."
Haku felt tears brimming in her eyes and hugged him tight, burying her face into the crook of his neck. "You...you finally said it Naru-kun. I love you too. I'm so happy. I...I know you want Rose to be your first...so I won't ask you to take me right now, no matter how much I want it, but...let's make each other feel good." she said as she began to gently stroke his cock again at a slow pace at first before she began to gradually speed up until he was moaning louder and louder.
Refusing to be the only one receiving any pleasure, Naruto began to gently fondle one of Haku's breasts while he leaned in and lightly nibbled on the nipple of her other breast while flicking it with his tongue, sending a pleasant tingle throughout her body as he did. Meanwhile, his other hand went down south and he began to use his thumb to play with her clitoris while he began to lightly stroke her outer lips with his fingers, not bothering to penetrate her with his fingers just yet, opting to just tease her for now.
When she had finally had enough of the teasing, Haku screamed out, "Damn it Naru-kun, shove some fingers in me already or so help me Kami I'll squeeze your cock so hard you'll scream Soprano for a week!" she threatened, squeezing his cock just a tiny bit harder to get her point across.
Naruto, not needing any more incentive than that, slowly slid a couple of fingers inside of her, causing her to moan out lustfully. "Ohhh, that is sooo much better." she moaned out in appreciation.
The blond couldn't help but chuckle a bit before he felt his release coming. "Mmm, Haku-chan, I'm about to cum."
"M-Me too Naru-kun." Haku said. "Me too!"
And within a matter of moments, the two of them came together, both breathing out huge sighs of relief afterwards. Looking at one another, they couldn't help but giggle happily as they leaned in and kissed each other sweetly on the lips. "Want to go again?" Haku asked excitedly.
Lime Over (Safe to Read Again)
3 Days Later
It was now the final day of the second Exam and all the passing teams were standing in a room within the tower, a large statue of two hands forming the Ram hand seal. Of all the teams remaining, there was the team from Sunagakure, Kurotsuchi's team from Iwagakure, Kabuto's team, and Teams 7, 8, 9, and 10 from Konohagakure. Well, what remained of Team 7 at least.
They were all curious about what was going to happen next, considering they were told to meet in this room. Naruto and his team were getting tired of waiting, mainly because Ino kept glaring at Naruto, almost as if she was trying to kill him with her glare alone. However, before they could say or do anything about it, the Hokage, Rose, and a whole slough of Jonin arrived in a poof of smoke.
The first thing that happened was the Hokage gave a grand speech about the purpose of the Chunin Exams, and Naruto and his team paid rapt attention to it, absorbing the information, but it really didn't feel all that important in the long run. Sure it made sense, but it seemed like pretty basic information all things considered. Then a Jonin known as Hayate Gekko leaped down and asked if anyone would like to quit. This is when Kabuto announced that he was stepping out, claiming he just didn't have the chakra left to continue. Naruto called bullshit on this, but didn't bother to say it out loud.
In the end, this left a total of twenty Genin, which meant there would be a total of ten preliminary matches. Announcing this, Hayate pointed towards the board and waited for the first of the matches to be randomly picked. When it finally stopped, he called for the two picked to stay on the floor and for the rest to join their Jonin sensei up above.
Yoroi Akado vs. Kurotsuchi
Once the floor was cleared of everyone except for these two, Kurotsuchi couldn't help but smile somewhat evilly at her opponent. This was going to be fun. While she didn't know how to make use of her Dragoon powers yet, she didn't need them for this fight and she knew it. Instead, she'd make quick work of this punk before her before joining her team up above and watching the remaining fights. Or maybe she'd join Naruto-kun? Who knows?
As soon as the match began, Kurotsuchi went through a few hand seals and announced her first technique. "Lava Release: Lava Bullets!" before firing a series of lava bullets from her mouth at the oncoming Konoha ninja. Seeing him dodging the bullets as best he could, she smirked a bit and stomped her foot, sending a pillar of earth shooting up out of the ground in front of him, slamming into his stomach and sending him flying backwards. Heh, I knew he wouldn't see that one coming. Practicing that these past few days sure came in handy. She thought with a grin.
Quickly going through hand seals again, she slammed her hands to the ground and called out another technique. "Earth Release: Quicksand Technique!" she declared, watching as the floor under Yoroi suddenly shifted until it resembled quicksand, beginning to suck him in. The more he struggled, the worse it became. "I suggest you give up. If you don't, the floor will swallow you whole and you will die. Tick tock Yoroi. Tick tock." she said.
Yoroi began to panic. As he became submerged up to his neck, he quickly shouted out, "I surrender! Please get me out of here!"
Kurotsuchi ended her technique and quickly helped Yoroi out of the floor with another Earth Release technique and patted him off. "There ya go. Sorry about that." she said with a smile as she was declared the winner of the first match. Afterwards, she walked up to her team and grinned at them, falling into conversation with them as they awaited the next match.
Shino Aburame vs. Ino Yamanaka
As they made their way down, Naruto couldn't help but grimace in sympathy for Ino. This would be an easy match for Shino and most people here knew it. She was still a hopeless fangirl for Sasuke and likely hadn't taken her training as seriously as she should have, likely too busy fantasizing about her 'darling' Sasuke-kun. Shino, on the other hand, was quite serious about his career and was more than prepared to do what it took to win this match.
As soon as the match began, Ino, with a scowl on her face, brought her hands up in the hand seal for her signature jutsu and shouted out, "Mind Body Switch Technique!" and attempted to take over Shino's mind and body. However, what actually happened was she ended up inside of an Insect Clone. The real Shino stepped out from behind her and sent out a swarm of kikaichu and allowed them to sap what remained of Ino's chakra until she passed out with her mind returning to her unconscious body seconds later. It was a very short and uninteresting match.
Once Shino was declared the winner of the second match, he walked up the stairs to rejoin his team. As he passed by Naruto, the blond said, "Thanks for taking it easy on her Shino. She's had it pretty rough lately." Shino only nodded in acknowledgement and gave Naruto a small smile before leaving to rejoin his team.
Kankuro vs. Misumi Tsurugi
Now this match proved to be a rather interesting one. Misumi Tsurugi proved to be a rather, erm...disjointed individual. Or you could just call him Mr. Stretchy if you wanted. Whichever you preferred. He wrapped himself around Kankuro and began to squeeze him rather tightly, threatening to snap his neck if he didn't forfeit the match. However…
When Kankuro refused, it was revealed that the Kankuro everyone saw was, in fact, a puppet. The real Kankuro was revealed to have been in the wrappings that had been carried by the puppet all along, and he had been manipulating the puppet via chakra strings the entire time. Misumi was quickly struck down by the puppet called Karasu.
Naruto actually found himself feeling a bit excited by this. Here he was, a puppeteer from Suna, something they were famous for! Maybe he would get the chance to face each other in the finals! Boy, wouldn't that be something?! Still, he would have to win his preliminary match before he even thought about something like that.
Sakura Haruno vs. Shikamaru Nara
Naruto looked into his friend's eyes and decided to offer him a warning. "Shika, I know she may have seemed like another fangirl in the academy, but she wasn't. The Sakura I know is a smart woman that takes her training seriously. She genuinely cares about me and knows that I wouldn't take a fangirl seriously or even give them the time of day. I don't have any idea what she's learned under Asuma, but I want you to be careful and give this your best effort, okay? I know you can win this Shika. Good luck." Naruto said as he patted his best friend on the shoulder.
Shikamaru frowned at the information he was given before nodding a couple of times and turning to make his way down the stairs. As he stood across from Sakura, he pondered over the information he was just given. So that was why he and Sakura seemed as close as they did, hm? Figures. Looking into Sakura's eyes, he could see that she was deadly serious about this match and he realized that if he wanted to have any chance of winning this and advancing to the finals, he'd have to bring his very best to the table.
When Hayate asked if he was ready, the young Nara heir nodded his head and then turned his gaze back to Sakura. Once the match was announced to begin, he immediately had to dodge a couple of shuriken, but he never once took his eyes off of his opponent, for he knew it would be suicide if he did.
Watching her every movement, he waited to see what she was capable of so he could formulate some kind of plan. For without knowing exactly what she could bring to the table, he wasn't entirely sure what he needed to do in order to win this match.
Now, normally, one would wonder why he was so serious about winning this match. After all, Nara's were usually quite lazy and wanted nothing to do with such 'troublesome' situations as these. Well, the answer was quite simple: Naruto was having quite the effect on him. Naruto was making Shikamaru want to try. Despite how troublesome things might be, Shikamaru was starting to genuinely want to try and do things. He kind of hated it, but at the same time he couldn't help but find amusement in it at the same time.
But enough of that thought process, Sakura was flipping through hand seals for some kind of jutsu. When she finished and called out the name of her jutsu, all Shikamaru could do was utter a single word, "Shit."
"Fire Release: Heat Wave!" Sakura shouted before she spat out a tidal wave of flames that began to rush towards Shikamaru. It didn't help matters any that this jutsu was doing exactly as the name said and heating up the surrounding area quite a bit, causing everyone in the surrounding area to begin to sweat.
Groaning to himself, the Nara heir closed his eyes and nodded to himself once before he decided to just take a page out of his sensei's book and wing it. So, with a simple smile on his face, he muttered, "Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique." and sank into the ground right before the wave of fire passed over him.
As the wave of fire crashed into the wall and dissipated, Sakura looked for any sign of her foe, but found none. Feeling a sense of foreboding, she looked around for him, only to quickly realize something was wrong. Quickly, she looked down and leapt backwards just in time as she saw a hand reach up out of the ground in an attempt to grab her by the ankle. As she landed, she watched as Shikamaru rose from the ground and released a sigh.
"Tch. I was hoping that would work. Oh well, guess I'll have to think of something else then." Shikamaru muttered as he rubbed at the back of his head. "That would've been too easy though. You are almost as smart as me after all." he complimented her.
Sakura blushed a bit at the compliment and smiled at him in thanks. "Thanks Shikamaru. I'm glad you think so. That's quite the compliment, coming from you." she said, feeling a sense of pride building up in her at Shikamaru's words. "But, we are still enemies right now, so…"
Shikamaru nodded in response to this and sighed. "Yeah...yeah, I know. Doesn't mean I can't feel pride in a comrade for being as skilled and smart as she is though." he said with a smile on his face. "But, I hope you know I'm aiming to win this." he said with a smirk on his face.
Sakura smirked right back and pointed her fist at him. "As am I. So let's give this our very best effort Shikamaru and let the best person win!" she exclaimed.
At this, the pineapple-haired young man looked into Sakura's eyes and smiled sadly at her. "I'm sorry for this Sakura, I really am." and with that, he threw dozens of kunai around the arena floor, each of them sticking into the ground with their ends point upwards into the air. Afterwards, he looked into his opponent's eyes with a dead serious gaze and formed three quick hand seals as she tried to figure out what he was about to do. "You can't escape from this one Sakura. Shadow-Neck Binding Technique." he said calmly as his shadow extended rapidly between the kunai, branching out in multiple paths, all directly towards her.
Sakura was astonished. Even if she were to jump, her shadow would still be cast on the ground and would be caught by this technique. As soon as she landed, his shadow technique would take her before she could do a thing and she knew it! The pink-haired teenager knew she was beaten and she was absolutely stumped on what to do. As Shikamaru's shadow hand crawled up her body and gripped at her throat, she couldn't help but let out a strangled laugh. "W-Well done Shikamaru. I'm impressed. Proctor, I forfeit. Shikamaru wins."
Hayate nodded once and declared Shikamaru the winner. After doing so, the Nara heir released his technique and walked over to Sakura, checking on her neck to make sure she wasn't hurt. "Are you okay? No bruising or anything?"
She let out a light, tinkling laughter. "No Shikamaru, I'm fine. Thank you for the concern though. We should collect your kunai so the next fighters can have their fight. Come on." she said, smiling widely at him. Who knew Shikamaru was such a cool, nice guy?
Shikamaru chuckled and nodded, happy to have made a new friend in Sakura. It didn't take them long to collect all the kunai and they both made their way back up to their teams. As Sakura moved to walk by Naruto, he congratulated her on a well fought match before allowing her to return to her team.
Turning to Shikamaru, Naruto grinned at him. "Congratulations Shika. That was a good match, but I knew you could do it. And look at you, getting all flirty with Sakura-chan." he said with a grin.
Shikamaru blushed a bit and shook his head. "I was not, damn it. Don't tease me like that." he said grumpily. "Let's just watch the next match you troublesome bastard." he grumbled out.
Naruto couldn't help but chuckle a bit as they looked to the board to see who would fight next.
Tenten vs. Temari
Sadly for Tenten, this match was completely one-sided. While her assortment of weapons was pretty impressive and her handling of them was equally impressive, her opponent was just a bad draw for her. Temari was able to counter everything she threw at her with her Wind Release techniques, easily blowing her weapons away and rendering them useless with her fan.
Eventually, after Tenten unleashed her ultimate technique, Temari revealed all three of the moons on her fan and unleashed a devastating Wind Release technique that took Tenten out of the game. When she closed her fan and went to deal one last blow to Tenten's spine, Naruto leapt down and caught Tenten, refusing to allow such a thing to happen.
"You've already won the match. You don't need to do anymore to her." he said in as calm a voice as he could. "All you were trying to do was add insult to injury and I will not allow it. Return to your team. Now." he commanded, sending a cold chill down Temari's spine.
Temari, not wanting to cross this young man before her, quickly did as she was told and returned to her teammates' side after being announced the victor of the match. When the medics came out to collect Tenten, Naruto gently stroked her hair and smiled at her. "You'll have better luck next time Tenten. Today just wasn't your day." he said before he went about collecting all of her weapons so he could seal them back up into her scrolls for her.
Unknown to him, Tenten had been barely clinging onto consciousness and heard what he had said and felt his touch. These actions and his words brought a slight blush to her face. Smiling to herself, she allowed herself to fall into blissful unconsciousness.
Guy jumped down to help Naruto collect all of Tenten's weapons and started up a conversation with him. "Thank you Naruto for protecting my student like that. If you hadn't, I would have." he said sincerely.
Naruto smiled at his friend and sensei. "You don't need to thank me Guy-sensei. It was the right thing to do. Besides, she's a fellow student of yours. What more reason is there to help her? But you're welcome regardless." he said with a smile on his face.
Once all the weapons had been collected and resealed, the two of them made their way back up to their teams. It was at this point that the next two combatants had been chosen.
Naruto Uzumaki vs. Kiba Inuzuka
Sighing at this, Naruto facepalmed and shook his head. "I would've stayed down there if I had known I was next." he said to himself.
His teammates and sensei chuckled to themselves before Kakashi placed a hand on his shoulder. "Go down there and show them what a Dragoon is capable of Naruto-kun. But most importantly, just have fun and win this match. I want to see you in the finals."
Shikamaru smirked and nodded his head. "That's right. I want to see all of us make it to the finals Naruto. So go down there and beat him. Don't you dare take it easy on him either. Make that mutt regret ever meeting you on the field of battle."
Haku leaned in and kissed Naruto on the lips, much to Rose's ire. "Good luck Naruto-kun, not that you'll need it. Kick his ass."
With that being said, Naruto looked to Rose, who simply nodded her head in his direction to show her support, before he leapt over the railing and waited for his opponent to meet him down in the arena.
Kiba, on the other hand, glared at Naruto. He had never been able to beat Naruto in any of their spars in the academy and it stung. It was a huge blow to his pride as an Inuzuka and as a shinobi. But now? Now, things were different. He had grown stronger since graduating the academy and he knew he could beat this little punk standing down below him, waiting for him to get down there so they could fight.
Kiba ignored the words of his teammates. He didn't care what they were trying to say to him. Instead, he leapt down across from his enemy, for that is what he was, and glared fiercely at him. The Inuzuka hated Naruto Uzumaki with every fiber of his being. This stupid bastard had everything that he wanted! Power, girls, smarts, everything! And it was all just fucking handed to him! Boy did Kiba ever misunderstand Naruto's life?
Naruto sighed as he looked at Kiba, a pitying look in his eyes. "You still look at me with hatred in your eyes. I don't know what I ever did to you, but I'm not going to apologize. You need to let go of your hatred before it consumes you Kiba. It's not healthy and it's only going to get you killed in the future."
Kiba snarled. "Shut the fuck up! You think you're better than everyone else, don't you, you fucking bastard?! You've had everything fucking handed to you! Money, women, power! I could never beat you in the academy and I don't know why! I should be stronger than you damn it! You're just a damn nothing compared to me! What the hell makes you so damn special?! Why did the girls flock to you and that Uchiha bastard?! I'm the alpha male of our age group! ME!"
Naruto groaned and facepalmed, dragging his fingers down his face as he finally realized what this was about. Jealousy; plain and simple. Looking sharply at his supposed 'rival', Naruto shook his head in disbelief. "So that's what this is all about? Jealousy? This is ridiculous Kiba! I didn't want those fangirls! I would've gladly let you have them if I could have! Hell, Sasuke would have too probably! As for money, I only had that because it was left to me by my parents. Besides, you're from a clan Kiba. You have plenty of it. As for power, I had to earn that power through hard work and perseverance. I didn't just have it handed to me on a silver platter. I'm sorry that you never beat me in any of our spars in the academy, but that shouldn't have had such an effect on you to the point you became like this! What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
Kiba snarled and looked to the proctor. "Just start the fucking match already! I want to tear this asshole apart already!" he shouted before he returned his glare to Naruto. "I hate you Naruto. I hate you so much I can't stand it anymore. I don't care if it's frowned upon. I'm going to enjoy tearing you apart. I'm going to enjoy killing you for the humiliating you've inflicted upon me! I'm tired of living in your shadow!"
Naruto frowned at this and shook his head sadly as the proctor announced the beginning of the match. "I pity you Kiba. You've clearly lost your mind, just as Sasuke did before I had to kill him. Please...don't make me have to do the same to you. I beg of you." he said as Kiba charged at him.
A/N - Okay, that's the end of the chapter, as you can see! Yes, I killed Sasuke. I was on the fence about it, but I eventually came to the decision with a little help from Dragon and Sword Master. It seemed like the right thing to do in the end, and there WILL be some backlash from such a decision in the coming chapters.
Also, there was a lime in this chapter. I hope it was tasteful and didn't come off as trashy or anything like that. Hopefully.
Anyways, I'm afraid I'm a little short on time, so I can't say too much right now. I hope you liked what I did this chapter and are looking forward to seeing more when I get back next week from NDK! See ya then!
