There is such a thing as too much light. Sonic the Hedgehog is transformed by an ancient force, a force with the world under its sway. The key to its destruction is an amnesiac creature who'd much rather be anywhere else, his closest friends have been brainwashed, and if he doesn't act soon, the world will burn to a crisp.
