They'd taken off and as soon as the pilot announced they could move around Oliva took the opportunity.
"I'm gonna go lay down," Olivia said as she unlatched her seatbelt and attempted to stand.
Fitz stood too, "I'm coming."
"You guys are leaving me?" Arianna said with a frown.
"That's right third wheel," Fitz threw over his shoulder as he walked.
Arianna chuckled, "fine, Alesander is going to keep me company. Isn't that right Alesander?"
"That's right," Alesander replied with a straight face, a smile threatened to break his tightly pressed lips.
Fitz continued walking with Olivia until they reached the bedroom and he closed the door behind them. Olivia sat on the bed and slipped off her boots then her jacket and laid back on the bed in her silk dress. Fitz kicked off his shoes and climbed on top of her on the bed.
He ran his hands down her thighs over the slippery fabric.
"Did you have fun?"
"I love your family- more than I love you-" Olivia froze, "not that I love you...I...I definitely don't love you."
"Of course not," Fitz said with a smile and then kissed down her neck and clavicle then over the curve of her breasts.
Olivia sensed sarcasm and was flustered, "I don't love you. Stop smiling like that."
He watched as her nipples stiffen under her silk dress then pulled the delicate straps from her shoulder and pulled her dress down exposing her breasts. The fabric fell to her waist.
"Smiling like what?" he asked, with a mischievous smile.
"Like I'm totally whipped, I'm not," Olivia said then her features softened into a smile as his blue eyes pierced her. "Stop staring at me."
"You're beautiful, why wouldn't I stare?"
She chuckled, "stop, flattery will get you...everywhere."
"It has," he said as he kissed her again.
"I want to try something."
"Do it."
"You don't even know what it is…"
"Yes, I do."
Olivia rolled her eyes and leaned up and slid further down his legs until she was sitting on his thighs then she reached down and unbuckled the Hermes belt from around his waist. She pulled it from his belt loops then unzipped his pants.
She reached into his underpants and pulled out his semi-hard cock. It was so thick and long and intimidating that Olivia froze when she held it.
Fitz laughed, "well, you've got it in your hands, do something with it," he teased.
"Well don't make me nervous," Olivia said as she looked up.
"Why do you look terrified?"
He was amused.
"I remember how Camilla was choking on your penis and yeah that's kind of terrifying." as she spoke Camilla's name she had the urge to ask about her but decided against it.
"Just take it slow," Fitz said with a smile. "I don't expect you to be a deep-throating legend the first time a cock goes into your mouth."
She could feel him getting stiffer in her hands and so she took a breath and leaned down between his legs. She brought her lips closer to his penis then parted them and slid her tongue up the length of him.
Fitz leaned back against the pillow and gazed down at her, catching an eyeful of Olivia attempting to work his cock. He was slightly amused as she fumbled it in her tiny, dry hands and tried her best to lick it up and down but somehow couldn't get the entire shaft.
He sat up and kneeled in front of her.
"I'm gonna show you how I like it, okay?"
Fitz pulled her up and laid her in front of him, hoisted up by her elbows then he reached down and pressed his thumb against her bottom lip and then shoved his thumb in her mouth, opening it.
"Stick your tongue out," he said.
Olivia opened her mouth wider and stuck her tongue out, as told.
Fitz pressed his tip against her tongue and rubbed it up and down. "Relax."
Olivia hummed in response as she tried to take a breath to calm down so she wasn't so stiff. She opened her mouth wider and tried to take him further.
"Woah, woah, woah," he said with a chuckle, "take it slow. Don't try to take more than you can manage."
Olivia pulled back and laughed shyly. She wrapped her fingers around his shaft and tried again, pressing her tongue against his tip, and then she began sucking as she moved her mouth up and down on him.
"Mhmm….so much...fucking better," Fitz mumbled through a moan.
He reached down and pulled her hair from her face and balled it into his fist.
The more Olivia worked his cock in her mouth, the more she could feel herself salivating both between her lips and between her legs. Soon, she was slobbering all over him.
Fitz began to thrust his cock forward into her mouth.
Olivia mumbled incoherently, her mouth stuffed with his penis.
Fitz pulled himself from her and saw her frown, confused. He smiled and turned her around then wrapped her legs around his face and feasted between her legs. She'd worn no underwear under her dress because she had none.
"Ahhhh-" she yelped then caught herself and bit her lip. They had company outside the cabin but it was too good to keep quiet. She felt him licking and sucking her and yelped again.
Fitz slapped her ass with Olivia on top of him in the 69 position. She knew she was supposed to return the favor but she couldn't focus with his tongue on her, driving her mad.
"Fuck Olivia- why'd you stop," he mumbled with her clit pressed against his lips.
Olivia took a breath, now that he's stopped she could continue. She ducked down between his legs and took him in her mouth again. He was still just as hard as when she left him.
Fitz continued and Olivia stopped again and when Fitz stopped, she started.
Fitz stopped and chuckled. He decided the position wasn't possible with Olivia and even if he continued and she came, she would probably be unable to go another round so he could finish.
"You just have to give me a second okay, Jesus Christ," Olivia said flustered. "I can do it."
Fitz didn't respond as he pulled her ass to his mouth and licked circles around her asshole.
Olivia grabbed her breast and closed her eyes tightly.
"Oh no," she cried softly as she curled her toes and rocked gently back and forth on his face. She felt her ass tighten and begin to pulse. A tingling sensation reached up deep inside her as she fell forward and orgasmed fiercely.
She was breathless as she rolled and stared at the ceiling of the cabin.
Fitz sat up and lifted Olivia into his lap.
"Do you know why I did that?"
"Because you're disgustingly good at sex," she said with a breathless chuckle.
"Yes, I am and you are disgustingly bad at my 2nd favorite position-"
"It was my first time-"
Fitz pulled her closer to him, "yeah so now you're gonna make it up to me with your vagina and you can't complain that it's sensitive because I haven't touched it yet."
Olivia blushed, "you're sneaky."
Fitz lifted her slightly and then eased her down on him. She was slick and warm. He closed his eyes and bit his lip. Olivia gasped. Her mouth was left gaping in awe.
She was straddling his lap with his arms tightly around her waist, clutching her close. Fitz lifted her up and down on him and suddenly Olivia got an octave higher.
He lifted her up and down faster. Her breasts shook thunderously. Olivia dug into his back and crashed her lips against his.
His hands were all over her, grabbing her flesh as he thrust sweetness into her. She could feel his cock massaging her walls. The friction was excruciatingly good.
She rolled her hips on him and relished in his thick cock filling her every crevice. When she orgasmed, it was deep and shaking, wholly consuming. It was a blur but she could feel Fitz thrusting faster as he came, violently inside her.
She was filled with cum, dripping everywhere.
They fell back on the bed, spent.
When Fitz woke it was hours later. He dressed and cleaned himself up in the bathroom then went to find Arianna. She was sleeping with her feet kicked up on the seats.
"Wake up," Fitz half-yelled.
"Ahh-" she said as she jumped.
Fitz laughed and sat back in the chair.
"Finally?" Ariana asked. "I should kick your ass for making me ruin my back on this stupid seat."
He smiled, amused. "Say what you want to say." the flight attendant walked down the passage. "Bring me a scotch," Fitz said.
"He meant to say please as well," Arianna said.
The woman nodded with a smile and went to get the drink.
"I like her," Arianna said, "she's different from what you usually go for and she's got her own thing so she won't just be sitting around being mad that you aren't there. That's the first mistake for all your relationships."
"She's already warned me that I need to be here at least twice a month, 'Fitz said.
"Good. twice a month is the least you should be here. She's pregnant, the last thing she wants is to be alone. I wouldn't want to be alone if I was."
Fitz leaned back in his chair.
"We're getting a place."
"You're getting her a place that you'll stay at or are you getting a place together. These are two different things."
Fitz rolled his eyes.
"The former is what you do to your other girlfriends and it never works out."
"Be realistic- I can't just drop everything. It's gonna take time. She's different though,"
"Aww you really like her...so you aren't gonna be an absentee dad?"
"Of course not."
"Wait- you're happy about the baby right?" Arianna asked.
He sighed, "I'm still processing what it means- doesn't mean I'm not happy, I'm just trying to figure things out. I think she's trying to do the same."
"That's not a bad thing. Is she happy?"
"She wasn't. Her mom went crazy on her. I think she's been better since I've been back."
"That's good."
The attendant brought the drink to Fitz and then stepped away.
"Still though, as far as hitting the jackpot with potential mothers, I think I won," Fitz said with a smile.
"Yeah, a neurosurgeon, talk about a step up. "
"I always wanted a kid but I need to be the kind of father to my kid that Gerry was to us. As it stands, I can't right now and it's gonna take a lot to get me there. I don't want to be doing what I'm doing now while I'm a father."
"You'll make it happen. My niece or nephew deserves that and also Olivia deserves that. She's put up with enough from you, you kidnapper."
"Oh, don't bring that up- again."
Arianna chuckled, "I'd never not bring it up- if it were me I don't know that I'd ever get over that."
"What are you saying?"
"Exactly what I said."
Fitz took a sip of his scotch.
"I think she forgives me- I don't know."
"Maybe now probably because she's happy to see you."
"So you're saying she'll never get over it."
"I'm saying I'd never forget but I only just met the girl so maybe I'm wrong. I don't know."
"You do give notoriously bad advice but maybe you're right. She's different, I can't buy her like I do everyone else."
"Me especially," Ariana said with a chuckle.
"It's probably why I like her if I'm being honest there's nothing I can do about what I did. I didn't know her then, I regret it and I wouldn't do it again. There's nothing else I can say."
"Sure, just tell her that, she'll love it-" Arianna said sarcastically.
Fitz got annoyed at the conversation, mostly because he thought Arianna was right. There would be a reckoning for what he did but he didn't know when.
"Okay, I'm shutting up," she said, sensing his irritation.
"So what do you want? I know you came for a reason."
"It's been a year since my little splurge. Are you still seriously punishing me?" Arianna said with a pout.
"You bought a hundred thousand dollar bag off my card, Arianna-"
"Now look who can't let stuff go," she teased. "You made me return it, didn't you and it's not like you can't afford it."
Fitz laughed, "you're stuck at 25 grand a month baby. You keep annoying me and I'll drop it to 20."
"You bitch," Arianna said with an eye roll.
Fitz laughed loudly and kicked his feet up on her chair but Arianna pushed them away.
"What do you need extra money for anyways- to show off on Instagram?"
She sighed, "No, I wanted to start a business. I want to open a boutique."
"Well," Fitz said intrigued, "you didn't say that."
"Well, I wanted to surprise you and show you that I'm not a total waste. I would do it myself but even though I have great credit (mostly because of you), I can't prove I'm working so the banks won't give me a loan."
"If you're really serious about this- like you have a business plan and not a bullshit one and did your homework then I'll give you whatever you need to get started."
"Well," Arianna said with a smile, "I do have a business plan." she unlocked her seatbelt and reached down to her purse on the floor, and pulled out a folder.
"Look who's prepared to pitch," Fitz teased.
"Just shut up and read it," she said as she handed it to him. "I paid someone to help me with it so I know it's legit."
As Fitz read through the sheets of paper, Olivia walked from the cabin towards them, dressed in her silk dress and a robe.
Fitz smiled at her and called her to him. She sat in his lap and wrapped her arms around him then leaned down and kissed his lips. "I'm surprised you woke so fast?"
"I kind of used to being awake at this time. How long until we land?"
Fitz checked his watch, "an hour and a half, give or take."
Olivia nodded then she turned to Arianna, "I'm sorry."
Arianna understood immediately what Olivia was apologizing for.
"Are you kidding, if you lived with him as a whorish teenager you'd know you have nothing to apologize for. There was cum all over our house, I swear."
Olivia covered her mouth and laughed, "that bad."
"He was always sneaking someone in and out. It's funny cause he thought he was so good at it but everyone knew."
Olivia laughed again, "that doesn't sound like you Fitz."
"It was," he said with a chuckle.
"Any plans for black Friday?" Ariana asked.
"Black Friday?" Olivia asked then she realized, "oh no, I don't think I've ever done anything on black Friday."
"I mean...the stores I shop at never have a sale but I do it every year just for the tradition."
"But not this year right?" Fitz said with a smirk.
"Shut up!" Arianna barked at Fitz.
Olivia chuckled and shook her head.
"You should take Olivia," Fitz said.
"Sure but does that mean you'll give me money to shop-"
"No," Fitz said.
"Take me where?" Olivia asked.
"To get some stuff, unless you plan on going to your apartment for round two with your mom just to get some clothes."
"I don't plan on doing that. I'll just go when she's at work. I know her schedule."
"Still," Fitz said, "go get some stuff."
"Fitz, I'm fine, I don't really go anywhere except work."
"Are you insane, you're going Olivia, even if I can't shop, I just need to be in a place where things are being bought!"
Olivia covered her face and laughed, "okay, I'll go."
Fitz smiled then he turned to Arianna, "the only way I take you seriously enough to give you this money is if you sell your shit to come up with half of it."
"What? That's not fair-"
"Yes, it is. You have a lot of clothes and shoes and bags, thousands of dollars worth. Sell some of it, come up with half and I'll give you the other half. This way, I know you're serious."
"Goddammit, fine, fine, I'll do it," Arianna said, distressed.
"Good," Fitz said. "When you do that, let me know and I'll write you a check."
It was almost 6am when they arrived at the hotel room. Olivia showered quickly while Arianna made herself comfortable on the sofa as she waited for her room to be prepared for her.
When Olivia finished her bath, she threw on the same pair of jeans she'd been wearing for days now, it was the only pair she had along with a sweater she borrowed from Arianna, all her other clothes were at her apartment. She crawled beside Fitz on the bed.
"I'm still all tingly from this morning," she said with a smile.
"You suck at 69, we'll have to work on that," he said with a smirk.
Olivia leaned down and kissed him, "promise?"
"Swear on my life," he leaned over and kissed her lips.
Fitz reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet and took out a credit card.
"Here, take this."
"I feel so weird taking this," she complained.
"Take it," Fitz insisted.
Olivia took the card.
"Get what you want and don't let Arianna get anything."
"Fitz how am I supposed to tell her that, she's your sister."
Fitz shrugged.
"Why won't you let her get anything?"
"She's getting older and I need her to start figuring things out for herself. She needs to start being responsible and make her own money. If I keep giving her everything she wants then she has no reason to do that."
Olivia nodded. "How much should I spend?"
"Get what you want."
"That's not an answer."
He leaned up, "yes it is."
"No, Fitz, I'm serious, I don't want us to fight about money and I don't want to spend too much so tell me my limit."
Fitz smiled.
"$500?"
"What? You're upsetting me." He said with a frown.
"What?"
"Do I look like someone who gives a woman $500 to shop? I'm insulted."
Olivia laughed "then tell me."
"Fine. 35."
"Hundred?"
"Thousand."
"That's too much- I don't need that much. Are you kidding ?"
"Not if you're shopping with Arianna. Get some stuff now and when he find a place you can get whatever else you want to fill up your closet."
Olivia opened her mouth to protest but then she stopped herself and took a breath, "thank you."
Fitz smiled, "look who's a fast learner."
She slapped him lightly, "shut up."
Fitz leaned back on the bed.
"When will we start looking at a new place?"
"I'm gonna have my real estate guy find some places. I'll call him when you leave."
"How soon do you think we could move?"
"In two weeks, the most, he'll find something quick, don't worry."
Olivia nodded.
"Can I ask you something?"
"What?"
"Who called you earlier. It looked important."
"It always is."
"What happened?"
"Nothing."
Olivia frowned.
"Fitz, you have to tell me things."
"What?"
"I'm serious. For us to work, you have to tell me things. I don't need to know everything but if I'm involved you have to tell me."
"I'm not going to Olivia, I'm not stressing you out with information you don't need to know."
"You said you'd be honest."
"I am being honest but you also have to realize that if you're gonna be with someone like me you can't know everything."
Olivia sat up, "we were in Santa Barbara and you got a phone call that made you decide to leave earlier than you planned." She thought for a moment, "Marco right? He sent someone here and you wanted to be here before them or while they were here so you couldn't be blindsided right?"
Fitz didn't answer and she took his silence as admission.
"Is it safe for me to go out?" she asked.
"I wouldn't let you and my kid and my sister anywhere out of my sight if it wasn't."
Olivia nodded.
"You're gonna have to tell me things, Fitz. Do you tell Arianna?"
"I tell Arianna more things than I tell anyone else. I do that because Arianna doesn't stress, she doesn't overthink, she doesn't get overwhelmed. You are not the same Olivia. It's a burden and once I tell you, I can't take it back so I'm not gonna tell you."
"Fine," she said then she stood and walked across the room to the small box of treats Catherine gave her from dinner.
"You're mad?" Fitz said.
"Of course not, the psycho who shot at me in Italy came all the way to Boston for me and you won't tell me about it. Why would I be mad."
"I never told you he's here You just made that up and then decided to get mad about it."
Ariana walked from the bathroom, breaking the tension between them.
"Olivia are you ready?" Arianna asked excitedly.
Olivia nodded, though she could force a smile, "yup."
She finished her cookie and walked towards the door of her hotel room to grab her jacket and slip on her shoes. Fitz walked to the door, where Olivia stood. He stepped in front of Olivia and she stepped back, bumping into the wall. She huffed annoyed, while Fitz smiled down at her and then leaned in and kissed her lips. "You're mad at me but I'm not mad at you," he whispered, "hurry up and get back so I can eat you up."
Olivia rolled her eyes, annoyed he wasn't taking her seriously and in response Fitz became annoyed.
"Can you text me when my room is ready?" Arianna said to him as she walked to them.
"Isn't that the hotel staff's job?" Fitz answered.
Arianna was put off by his snarky response.
"Fine," she said as she followed Olivia out when Fitz stepped away from them. "What pissed him off?" Arianna asked.
"He said he wasn't mad at me but maybe he lied."
She chuckled, "what did you do?"
"Nothing."
Arianna shrugged, "let's go, we can have lunch first then go to Saks."
"I'm not really in the mood to buy anything, maybe we can just eat then head back."
"Come on, don't be lame Olivia," Arianna complained.
Alesander and another guard walked from guarding their door and trailed them down the hall. In the lobby of the hotel, they stopped for lunch at the ground-floor restaurant.
"Did Fitz give you a limit?" Ariana asked as she scarfed down her salad.
"He said 35 thousand but I don't need that much."
"Are you okay? I know you and Fitz maybe had a little fight…"
Olivia sighed, "how do you not worry about him. He tells me you know everything."
Arianna smiled, "I do worry about him. He's my stupid older brother and I love him but I also trust him. He's very careful about everything he does so it's easier for me to just divorce myself from the entire thing cause if it didn't I'd go crazy."
"He's not telling me anything and that makes me worry more."
"You shouldn't. It's kind of a heavy load, knowing if you haven't realized my brother isn't exactly an upstanding citizen."
Olivia allowed a half-smile to form on her lips.
"He'll tell you and if he doesn't then he probably has a good reason. For you, it's probably because you can't lie. Anybody ask you something and even if you don't want to tell them, you'll give it away."
Olivia gasped, "he told you about that."
"Oh shit- was I not supposed to know that?"
"So that's why he won't tell me?"
"Probably, I'm not sure."
Olivia shook her head, "but I know things already."
"Yeah but that was before you knew you were pregnant and you guys decided to be together."
"Damn it," she cursed.
Arianna chuckled and shook her head as she took another bite of her salad.
"How do I get him to tell me. He knows I'd never tell anyone anything."
"Call his bluff." Arianna leaned closer. "Listen, my full-time job is getting money from my brother."
Olivia laughed.
"Basically the only way I get him to do what I want is if I threaten him, he'll cave if he cares about you," Arianna said. "He cares about you and you have leverage because you are carrying a baby he wants so call his bluff."
Olivia smiled.
"What if it doesn't work?"
"It will. The mistake all his girlfriends make is that they don't stand up to him. They get so awed by him- 'oh my god, he's rich, he's handsome-' that they just let him do whatever he wants. Don't make that mistake. He won't respect you if you don't stand up for yourself."
Olivia reflected on her time with him, when he'd taken her and she realized Arianna was right. Whenever she stood up for herself, he seemed more fascinated with her and was more willing to give her what she wanted. A wide smile spread across her lips.
"I'm a bad liar."
Arianna smiled, "bluffing technically isn't lying."
Olivia nodded and finished her salad. Alesander and Gregory stayed close on them their entire trip. They went to the salon next door for manicures and blowouts then had Alesander drive them to Saks.
Arianna walked through the front doors and lifted her arms in the air. "Let's spend my brother's money."
They started on the first floor in makeup, fragrances, and purses. Olivia bought more makeup than she imagined wearing. She bought all the perfume she'd ever had her eye on but could never afford to get then Arianna took her over to the handbags section and helped her pick a Chanel bag, two Louis Vuitton bags, two Gucci bags, and a Dior bag. Her total was just over $12,000. When they took out Fitz's credit card, the sales associate, a small, perky blonde woman, asked for ID.
"Why?" Arianna asked.
"It's just policy."
"It wasn't policy half an hour ago when we bought makeup," Arianna said.
"I'm sorry, I have to ask for your ID," she said again.
Arianna rolled her eyes and took her driver's license from her purse. "It's my brother's card. We have the same last name."
The woman took the ID and looked at the card.
"I'm sorry, it has to be the owner of the card."
"What? You guys have never done this before," Arianna complained.
"It's fine, we can go somewhere else, maybe the apple store, I need a new laptop and a phone."
"No these are so cute, you're getting them!" Arianna pulled out her phone and dialed Fitz.
"Me and Olivia are at Saks, can you come down because this lady is giving me shit about using it." Arianna listened as he spoke something briefly then replied. "Okay, come now, I mean literally get dressed now because I know how you are, it should only take you like 15 minutes."
He said something again.
"Thanks," Arianna said.
Fifteen minutes later they watched Fitz walking towards them from across the first floor. There were three men by his side.
Arianna smiled, "remember, you gotta give him the cold shoulder. Don't let him think he got away with it and if you can't lie just don't say anything at all."
Olivia nodded and turned her back to Fitz as he approached. Arianna had been prepping her for the entire duration of Fitz's trip there.
Fitz stopped behind Olivia and waited for her to turn around and acknowledge him but she didn't.
"You still aren't talking to me?" he said, annoyed after a moment then he ran his hands through her freshly blown-out hair and twisted it between his fingers.
"Did you bring the card?" Olivia asked, without turning around.
Fitz dropped his ID on the checkout table. The woman took his card and then Olivia handed her Fitz's credit card once again.
The woman compared them then handed them both back to Fitz.
"Thank you and I'm so sorry for the inconvenience."
"Yeah, whatever," Arianna said.
Fitz took his cards then handed them to Olivia while Olivia watched the woman stare absently at Fitz.
"Why are you staring at my brother, he has a girl," Arianna said though she couldn't help the mischievous smile that crept on her lips as the girl became visibly uncomfortable.
"I wasn't-"
"Can you just get us packed up?"
Fitz was used to Arianna's drama and ignored her as he turned to Olivia who was still avoiding him.
"What did Arianna say to you?" he asked. "I know she said something because I know my sister."
"Fitz, I'm not in the mood, okay," Olivia said softly.
He smiled, "fine, you being mad at me will only make the sex hotter," he said.
Olivia gasped, "FITZ!" she scolded, slightly embarrassed the sales associate gawking at them heard him.
He laughed, "now you wanna talk? Fine."
"Fitz!"
He laughed and leaned down and kissed her lips. "Fine," he said, relenting.
Olivia rolled her eyes and shook her head.
"Take our bags," Arianna said.
"Nope, let Gregory do it, you know since you two are plotting against me and shit."
Olivia took two shopping bags from the counter, filled with makeup and perfume, and handed them to Fitz.
"Thank you," Olivia said with a half-smirk.
Fitz turned to Arianna, "I'm gonna murder you." he stepped off then he stopped, "if they prevent you from using the card again just use your card Ari and I'll give you the difference at the end of the month."
Arianna smiled and nodded and headed up to the upper floor of the stores with Olivia for shoes and clothing.
When Olivia walked into their hotel room, she was escorted by Alesander and Gregory. There were new guards outside of their hotel room and there were two others outside of Arianna's room. As they'd followed her around, she briefly wondered how they managed to work non-stop but whatever their arrangement was with Fitz she decided it was none of her business.
Fitz was sitting at the table, eating a steak dinner.
Alesander and Gregory escorted her to him.
"Why don't you take off for the night," Fitz said to Alesander and Gregory.
They both nodded and left.
The hotel attendants who'd followed them up carried a trolley of her bags and placed them with the other two Fitz dropped to the floor then they left.
"Are you hungry?" he asked.
Olivia nodded.
"I ordered you food after you called. It should be coming up soon."
"Thanks."
She walked to the table and sat at the chair beside him.
"How was it?"
"Good, tiring, I finally got a new phone."
"Oh yeah," he said with a chuckle, "I had Camilla order one for you and it should be here soon so you have two now I guess."
"Oh- I didn't know, I can return it."
Fitz shrugged, "so what's going on? What did Arianna say to you."
"It's not about what Arianna said to me."
"Did she say something though right because you can't deny it?"
"Just because I didn't deny doesn't mean she did."
Fitz dropped his fork and leaned back in his chair.
"Okay, so deny it."
Olivia opened her mouth but then she couldn't and she realized what Fitz did.
"Is that what this is about, you won't tell me anything because I can't lie."
"That's not the only reason."
"Then what is it?"
"I think you're looking for a fight but when we fight it gets outta hand so I'm not gonna argue with you."
"What's going on with Marco?" she asked.
Fitz looked up at her but didn't answer.
"Did you see Jake?" she continued, "what about my dad, now that he's had to give you your money back he's probably trying to get back at you right? He's not going to just let it go."
Fitz sighed and leaned up.
"You have even more questions now?"
"Because you never answer any of them. You give me vague half or non-answers or you just ignore me."
"Do you know what a prosecutor would call you, Olivia?"
"What?" she asked, confused.
"They'd call you evidence. You have a physical reaction to lying. You know enough already- I'm not telling you anymore."
"Wait what? You think I'd talk to the police? I'd never tell anyone anything about you-"
"It's not about you wanting to tell Olivia-"
"-So I just won't know anything."
"It's better that way."
"I want to be in your life, I'm more sure of that now than I was yesterday, especially after meeting your family but for that to happen I need to know what I'm facing. I'm not another one of your girlfriends, I'm carrying your child, and if I have a successful pregnancy and we're lucky enough to have a healthy baby then we're gonna be connected, forever. I need to know what that means and if you can't tell me, this can't work. I can't be here with you."
"You're threatening me?"
"I'm not threatening you, I'm just telling you how I feel."
Fitz sighed and relented, "What do you want to know?"
Olivia took a breath, realizing that Arianna had in fact given her sound advice.
"Your parents don't know, right?"
"No, all they know is that I went to Europe and started working for the right people and now I have a lot of money. They've asked before but I never answer and so they stopped asking."
Olivia nodded, "did you talk to Jake?"
Fitz shook his head, "yes."
"Well...what did you say? What did he say?" she asked anxiously.
"He told me he'd leave you alone. I told him I couldn't trust him but that we'd talk when I get back."
"What does that mean? Are you going to be his friend again?"
"That means that if he thinks I'm open to having him back then he won't have his guard up and for the time being he'll leave you alone, hopefully. That means that I'm not stupid enough to start leaving a trail of bodies just days after I get to Boston and he was very loyal for a long time and I value loyalty more than anything so, I'm giving him time."
Olivia nodded, "sometimes I think I deny the fact that you kill people. Whenever you say it, I'm reminded but I don't like to think about it."
"Because you're reminded that you care for a criminal, who kidnapped you and starved you."
"You don't have to say it like that?"
"Why not? It's true. It doesn't do anyone any good pretending it isn't." He rested his hand on her chair and pulled her closer.
"I've reconciled that-"
"When?"
"When you brought me home and I wished I was back with you- that was when," Olivia said angrily.
"You're angry."
"I'm not- I don't know what I'm feeling, anxious maybe, because you aren't telling me anything."
"I am," he said with a sigh, "what else do you want to know?"
"What happened with my father?"
"He's licking his wounds. He'll try to get back at me and when he does I'll be ready."
She shook her head, "and Marco?"
"He killed two of my guys and I killed five of his…"
"And?"
"And now he's sent five of them to Boston."
"That's why you got the call?"
Fitz didn't answer.
"Well, why did you fly back?" Olivia asked nervously.
"You said it this morning, I need to know what's going on."
She drew in a deep breath then let it out, "how can you be so calm?"
"This is why I didn't want to tell you? You're going to be fine?"
"You don't know that- I mean what if they show up at the hospital like Jake did- Oh my god, what if they take my mom-" Olivia began to hyperventilate.
"Olivia- Olivia," He covered her mouth with his hand and brought her closer to his face, "calm down, you're gonna be fine."
"No, I'm not-"
"You're gonna be fine," he said again.
"He sent people to shoot me less than a day after you got in a fight with him."
"Olivia, I'm telling you not to worry. When you should be worried, I'll let you know then I'll take you far away from everyone, okay?"
She nodded and leaned down and kissed him softly on the lips, "okay."
Fitz reached behind her and unclipped her hair, allowing it to fall past her shoulders. " I like your hair down." Olivia took another breath. Her heartbeat hadn't yet slowed from the news Fitz shared. She leaned down and kissed him again, her hair fell on him.
"You trust me, right?" Fitz asked as he pulled her hair behind her ear and cupped her cheeks. "You know I'd never let anything happen to you."
"I know that...I just...what about my mom."
"Someone's watching her."
Olivia nodded.
The hotel door chimed.
"Room service," a worker announced.
"Come in," Fitz called.
A man walked in with a cart and pushed it over to the table, placed the food in front of Olivia at Fitz's direction, and then excused himself and left.
Olivia pulled the dome from her food and smelled the sweet aroma.
"That smells good."
Fitz ordered her a filet mignon and cheesy au gratin potatoes with a salad and water.
"Thanks," she said as she unwrapped her fork and reached for the potatoes. She chewed quickly and swallowed.
"How do you have so much money?" she asked after her first bite.
"It's a long story…"
"I'm listening," Olivia said with a small smile.
"I'd been working for your father and a few of his 'partners' for about a year and a half. I made decent money...I wanted more and I didn't like being told what to do or where to be. I was working on this Russian oligarch for your father, I was supposed to be blackmailing him for your father but I decided to do it for myself. Got him to add me to his will- which was my condition. I knew your father was gonna kill him when I told him he'd refused his demands so that's exactly what I did. A month after he died, I got a fat check for a fifth of a billion dollars because he died before he could change it."
"Wow."
"Suffice it to say your father was pissed, his partners too. In one job I made more than they had ever made pumping people full of drugs and selling guns. I took the money back to the U.S. because now it was legitimate money, I didn't have to worry about washing it and I put it in the bank, paid taxes on it, invested all over the world, bought a bunch of properties, opened a bunch of businesses and now 8 years later, it's more than doubled."
"Fitz-"
"You wanna know how and why I have as much money as I do, well, this is how."
"You don't sell drugs?"
"I don't have to," he said, then leaned back.
"So you've never been involved with drugs."
"I never said that, I just said I don't have to sell it. That's low-level shit."
"So wait- what does that mean? I feel like you're giving me a politician's answer."
He chuckled, "I don't sell drugs, Olivia."
"But do people who work for you sell it or who you work with selling it?"
"I thought we were talking about me."
Olivia rolled her eyes and took another bite of her cheesy potatoes.
"I guess this is as much as you'll tell me?"
"For now."
She smiled, "okay."
"Okay, so now it's your time to talk?" he sat up again, "what did Arianna tell you?"
"I'm not telling you anything, whether she did or didn't."
"So it was your idea to threaten to leave me if I didn't tell you what you wanted to know."
"I'm perfectly capable of being bitchy without Arianna's advice, okay?"
Fitz chuckled, "fine, deny it all you want but I know it was her."
Olivia smiled but said nothing.
"So what, you know my weakness now, you'll just threaten me to get whatever you want?"
Olivia nodded.
"I respect it but just know that it won't always work and it's gonna get old, fast."
"Well, when it gets old, I'll try something else. You know my weakness don't you?"
"69."
She laughed, "no, lying. We're even."
"If you say so..."
