On the night of the Kyuubi attack, the Shinigami chose to take mercy on a newborn Naruto. The Shinigami allowed Kushina Uzumaki to remain among the world of the living. As a result, Naruto and his sister Naruko grew up not only knowing the love of their mother, but they also grew up being loved by their village. How will all of this change things? 9. Chapter 9

Chapter 9 – Dates & Sasuke's Fury

It has been one week since the council meeting and the induction into the CRA, and Naruto had been having a really great time of things. Training with Zabuza, Asuma, Jiraiya (once he arrived back in the village on the second day), and Kushina had been a lot of fun so far, and he was learning a lot of new things to boot! Of course, the latter three had to split their time up between himself and other students, so the majority of his training was done with whosoever had the time to train him, which was usually Zabuza and one other tutor for the day.

So far, he had learned how to perform the Hiding in Mist Technique from Zabuza and he was learning how to perform the Silent Killing technique as well. The progress on that was a little on the slow side, but it was still progressing at a steady enough pace that Zabuza wasn't willing to do anything drastic yet. Other than that, he had been having regular spars with the man to improve his kenjutsu with all four of his blades, and he had been making remarkable progress in that area of expertise.

With Asuma, Naruto had been learning a few Wind Release techniques and was even gifted with his own set of Chakra Blades that his sensei had issued be made specifically for him. When he was gifted with these, Naruto couldn't help but hug his team's sensei tight and shout out "Thank you!" over and over again for a while. After trying them on, the young man proceeded to learn the basics of using said blades from his sensei and was even learning how to channel wind-natured chakra through them to extend their range and lethality as well.

Jiraiya and his mother were working on improving his sealing capabilities. While Naruko was ahead of him in terms of sealing prowess, Naruto proved that he was no slouch in this area either and would only continue to improve. Aside from that, Jiraiya was also helping his godson to improve in his taijutsu and chakra control, as those were always important areas for a person to continue improving in if you're going to be a ninja in this world.

Finally, Kushina was not only helping her son with sealing, but she was helping him with his kenjutsu as well, just as Zabuza was. Whereas Zabuza would work on improving his stances and reaction time, Kushina focused on teaching her son new kenjutsu techniques that he could employ in battle. Some of these techniques even employed the use of Shadow Clones or even fuinjutsu, which was really fun for young Naruto to learn.

However, today he wasn't training. No, today he was preparing for a battle of another kind. He was going on a date with one of his girlfriends and future wives: Fu, the jinchuriki of the Nanabi no Kabutomushi (Seven-Tailed Rhinoceros Beetle). What made him so nervous about going out with this particular girlfriend was her clingy and 'grabby' nature. He still remembered when she grabbed his junk for crying out loud! There was absolutely NO forgetting that!

So, while he spent some time freshening up and getting dressed in a proper gentlemanly outfit, Naruto spent some time thinking about his date and where he would be taking her, as well as what they would be doing afterwards. Okay, first date with Fu. Taking her to a fancy restaurant because she's likely never gotten to experience such a thing back in Taki. She should definitely enjoy the food there and the treatment. Afterwards, a walk through the park and maybe even feeding the local wildlife that wanders around there if she wants. Spend time talking with her and getting to know her better. That's your goal for the night Naruto! Don't mess it up!

Meanwhile, with Fu

Fu, on the other hand, had already gotten herself dressed in a fancy green and orange striped dress that accentuated all of her curves in just the right way. After all, she really wanted to show off not just her favorite colors, but she wanted to show off just how lithe her body was and give her man a good view of what was in store for him if he did a good job tonight. However…

"Fu, I'm warning you now that if I hear about any inappropriate behavior from you, I'm going to bar you from going on anymore dates with my son for the next three months. Is that understood?!" Kushina proclaimed.

Yes, the great mother of Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze, her lovely husband-to-be, was currently lecturing her on how to behave whilst on this date. So, with a heavy and reluctant sigh, the mint-haired lass nodded in the affirmative. "Yes Kushina-sama, I understand. Don't fondle my hubby's man parts in public. Only kiss when it's appropriate to do so. Yada yada yada. I get it already, okay?"

"You sure don't sound like you 'get it'! You're a lady, so it's best that you act like one. I understand that you didn't get to enjoy the finer things in life while living in Taki, Fu, nor did you get to experience things the way a normal young lady your age should, but that doesn't excuse the behavior you've shown me so far. So please, all I'm asking from you is to just behave, okay? I want you and my son to have a good time tonight with nothing going wrong. Enjoy yourselves and don't try to rush into anything." Kushina said.

When it seemed like what she was saying was going unheard, Kushina kneeled down and wrapped her arms around Fu. Hugging her close, Kushina began to whisper to her. "I know my son saved you Fu, but please, just try and enjoy the night as you think a regular young couple should. Okay? Let my son show you a good time. You may just be pleasantly surprised." Pulling back slightly, Kushina looked into Fu's eyes that looked to be glimmering with unshed tears. "Fu, you're safe with us now. There's no need to put up such an act. Be happy and enjoy yourself tonight, okay? Don't you dare try to rush into anything in an attempt to keep the one good man you've met like I know you're trying to do."

Nodding her head slowly, Fu wrapped her arms around Kushina and clenched her eyes shut tight as she tried to will the tears away. She, of course, failed to do so as they began to trickle gently down her cheeks and drip onto the elder woman's shoulders. "Thank you Kushina-sama. For being so kind and for being so understanding. I swear that you are the nicest woman I have ever met. Your son is an amazing man and if we do end up doing that at some point…if…if I have children with him later on down the road…I promise to name one of our daughters after you. That's how grateful I am to you right now for letting me live in your home when you didn't have to, for giving me such wonderful advice, and for being so darn kind to me when anybody else would've kicked me out on the streets and told me to get lost! Thank you!"

Giggling to herself, Kushina gently wiped away Fu's tears and guided her young charge to the bathroom where she proceeded to get Fu cleaned up. "You're welcome Fu-chan. Now stop crying already. We can't have you going on your date looking like such a mess, now can we? My son's probably already waiting for you in the living room! Come on, let's get you all cleaned up and get you looking presentable for the evening!"

"Yes Kushina-sama! Thank you again for everything you're doing for me." Fu said with a slight giggle at the end as the two women began to ready the tanned lass for her date once more.

45 Minutes Later – The Summer Leaf

As soon as Fu saw the size of the restaurant and the line of customers waiting outside, her mouth dropped open as she turned to her date for the evening. "We're eating here?! What're you thinking Naruto-kun?!" She exclaimed in a panic. For the life of her she didn't feel like she deserved such a thing, nor did she think that they could afford to eat in such a fancy place.

Chuckling to himself, Naruto put an arm around his date's waist and pulled her close up against him. "Shhh Fu-chan. It's alright. I've already made the reservations and this is where we're going to be eating. So relax and enjoy yourself tonight." Walking with her towards the waitress standing behind the kiosk, Naruto gave her his name and soon the two of them were led to a private booth on the second floor of the restaurant, away from prying eyes and potential eavesdroppers that might want to listen in on their conversation for whatever reason.

Now that they were alone, Naruto smiled across at his date and gently took her hands in his. "Fu-chan, I know things couldn't have been easy for you in Taki. That's why I'm doing this for you. I'm going to give you all the best experiences I can because you deserve them. I care about you and I only want your happiness and a smile on that pretty face of yours. Do you understand now?"

As a fierce blush overtook her features, Fu could only nod slowly in response. When she felt circles being run along the backs of her hands, the young beauty glanced down at them and smiled softly. "You really are one amazing guy Naruto-kun. I'm really glad we met when we did. I just hope they never find out what really happened…"

Increasing the firmness of his grip, Naruto brought Fu's hands up to his mouth and gave the backs of her fingers a kiss while looking Fu in the eyes. "Let's not think about that right now. We'll cross that road if it ever comes. Taki didn't care about you, and I highly doubt they'll care enough to do anything should they ever find out you're alive. If it happens, we'll cross that road when we get there. Right now, I want you to focus on your happiness and the here and now. Forget about everything else and forget the Chunin Exams. Forget it all. Just focus on me and on our date. Can you do that for me Fu-chan?"

Nodding her head slowly in the affirmative, Fu almost jumped when the waiter made himself known to them by asking what they would have to drink and if they were interested in any of the appetizers. Blushing from embarrassment at that point, she decided she wanted to try some of their wine, so she ordered that as well as ordering something small and simple, a light salad, for her appetizer. Naruto on the other hand asked for water and decided on enjoying a light salad as well so as not to ruin his appetite too much for the big, hearty dinner he knew was to come.

As they waited for their drinks, Naruto decided to ask a question. "Fu, I'm curious about something. Did you happen to have any friends back in Taki? Any at all?"

Frowning at this, the amber-eyed young woman shook her head. "I thought I did, but he rarely came to see me. And then one day I found out that he was only trying to trick me into trusting him so he could 'bed the demon' so he could have some damn bragging rights or something. Fucking Shibuki. That rotten, lying bastard."

As Fu clenched her fists tight, Naruto frowned and placed his hands atop hers to try and calm her. "How did you find this out Fu-chan? Can you explain that to me? If it's too hard or I'm prying too much, please don't be afraid to let me know okay?"

Shaking her head, the lovely young woman smiled sweetly at her fiancé. "No, it's okay Naruto-kun. It might actually help to talk about it." Taking a deep, yet shaky breath, Fu looked down at her hands and began to tell her tale. "Shibuki's the son of Taki's village leader. The leader of the village was always very kind to me, but he was only able to do so much for me. After all, things don't work in Taki like they do here in Konoha."

Deciding it best not to ask what she meant right now, Naruto decided to simply let her continue. "One day, he decided to introduce his son to me in the hopes that we would become friends. Shibuki seemed so nice and I grew to trust him. He…he even took my first kiss." Frowning at this point, Fu began to cry. "I let him feel me up in the belief that his behavior was normal, that normal couples behaved the same way. I wanted to fit in and be normal…to become his perfect girl because he was interested in me."

Beginning to shake and break down, Fu was stunned when she felt Naruto's arms around her. As Naruto began to rock her back and forth in his arms, she began to calm down and even began to laugh a bit. "I was so stupid. One day, I decided I wanted to surprise him at his home with a present I had crafted just for him. That's when I overheard him talking with some of his friends. They were talking about how close he was to 'popping the demon's cherry' and he was bragging about how I was so close to becoming his personal little cum dumpster and shit like that. I was essentially just going to be his sex slave to do with as he pleased, all because I would be too desperate for his affections that I wouldn't even think to go against him."

All of this was sounding so very, very familiar to Naruto by now. It reminded him waaay too much of the way Marco thought about his sister and he could feel rage boiling up inside of him. However, he knew that if he didn't calm himself, he would not only end up being overcome by the Kyuubi's chakra, but he would also worry Fu, whom he was currently trying to comfort. So, taking a deep, calming breath, the young Uzumaki-Namikaze heir held her close and kissed the top of her head. "What did you do?"

Laughing to herself, Fu looked into her boyfriend's eyes and smiled a bit. "The next time I saw him, I told him what I had overheard. He tried to deny it and say he was only putting on an act for his friends. I called bullshit on that and proceeded to literally rip off Shibuki's penis and balls. He can't ever hurt another woman the same way he hurt me as long as he lives. I even hung those up outside my front door as a warning to anyone else that might get the idea to try and 'bed the demon'. It was a message saying "Don't fuck with Fu.""

Smiling broadly at this, Naruto leaned in and captured Fu's lips with his own as he hugged her close to him. When they broke apart, the blonde male pressed her head gently against his chest. "I'm glad you're alright Fu-chan. I really am."

Meanwhile – Uzumaki-Namikaze Compound

While the two lovebirds were enjoying their dinner, Mikoto had decided to pay a visit to her dear friend, Kushina Uzumaki. At the moment, these two were seated on a couch in the living room enjoying cups of sake together while giggling over some rather amusing memories of the past.

"I still can't believe you did that. Seriously, how Minato ever forgave you for dying all of his underwear pink I can't understand. What did he ever do to make you that angry with him?" Mikoto asked in between her giggles.

Pouting at this, Kushina slumped down in the couch a bit more before turning away from her friend and sulking. "The bastard was flirting with another woman in front of me. How could I just let him get away with that, huh? So you're damn right I was going to prank the jerk for ignoring me in favor of another girl! That sure showed him though!"

Giggling even more, Mikoto patted her friend on the shoulder in good humor before she released a sigh and placed her sake dish down. Taking a deep breath, the ebony-haired woman decided to finally change the topic to her original purpose for coming here. "Kushina-chan…I have to ask you something."

Frowning at this point, Kushina perked up again and looked into her friend's eyes, waiting to hear what she had to say, although she had a pretty good idea of what was on Mikoto's mind. "How do you really feel about me being with your son in a romantic relationship? It can't be easy for you, seeing your best friend and son together like this…"

Knew it. The redhead thought to herself with a resigned sigh. She couldn't just come over and want to chat about old times. Nooo, she had to ask about that. I wanted to avoid this talk for a while. Setting her sake dish down as well, Kushina reached over and gently took one of Mikoto's hands in one of hers. "Mikoto-chan, while it isn't easy for me to see my son and best friend together like this, I can see that it makes the both of you happy. What's most important to me is seeing the both of you happy no matter the cost. If you two being together in a romantic relationship is what makes you both happiest, then I'll support you. Okay?"

Smiling at this admission, the ebony-haired woman wrapped her arms around Kushina in a tight embrace and kissed her cheek. "Thank you Kushina. You have no idea how much that means to hear you say that. You and Naruto are two of the most important people in the world to me and I don't want to lose either of you because of this. Though I have to admit…" Giggling a bit to herself, Mikoto pulled back and smirked a bit as she looked into her best friend's violet eyes. "I never, in my wildest dreams, thought I'd end up falling for your son. Then again, the heart wants what the heart wants, right?"

Giggling along, Kushina nodded her head and hugged her friend back. "Yes, that is so true. I'm just glad that you're so happy now Mikoto-chan. After the massacre, you just weren't yourself anymore. It doesn't help that your son won't even treat you like a person anymore. I'm just so happy for you. If my son makes you happy, you both have my blessing to be together, and I want you to know that. I love you both so much, I truly do."

Smiling beatifically, Mikoto nodded her head in appreciation. "I'm glad. I'm so thankful that you're my best friend Kushina-chan. Thank you for being here for me when everything went so bad. And thank you for raising such a wonderful young man as your son. You and your family have been so good to me when my own kin has been so…so…" Heaving a heavy sigh, Mikoto couldn't even finish her sentence and decided it was best to just leave the thought be. After all, she wanted to enjoy the rest of the night with her friend rather than dwell on the bad thoughts revolving around the massacre and her twisted son.

Picking up on this, Kushina grinned as she pulled back from her friend and began to wave the sake bottle around. "Let's continue where we left off then shall we? I think it's time we talked a bit about your horror stories. I still remember when…"

At the Park – Naruto & Fu

After their delectable dinner, the young couple left to go on a stroll through the park. Currently, they were seated on a bench near a pond where they sat watching a few squirrels playing together as they ran around and up and down a tree chasing one another.

"I'm really glad you invited me out tonight Naruto-kun. I've had a really great time." Fu said with a bright smile on her face that, if one were to ask Naruto, lit up the night like a beacon in the sky.

"Fu-chan, I promise to give you many more dates like this one. Only without making you relive bad memories, because I did not mean to put you through that earlier." Naruto said with a slight chuckle at the end.

Giggling a bit, Fu turned around and hugged her fiancé tight. "It's okay Naruto-kun. You couldn't have known. Besides, it feels better now that I've opened up about it." Fu admitted, being entirely honest in her admission. "Sure, it's a horrible memory, but I had closed myself off from everybody. I was afraid to trust in anybody again, and secretly I was a little afraid to even try talking about it for fear that you might not…well…like me anymore. After all, I've been sullied."

Frowning at this, Naruto kissed Fu's lips tenderly for a few brief moments before wrapping her up in a warm embrace. "Fu-chan, you have not been sullied. Just because somebody stole your first kiss and touched you inappropriately does not make you any less attractive to me. I think you're beautiful as you are, and the fact that you survived something like that and came out stronger from it just makes you that much more amazing to me. Personally, I feel like I don't deserve somebody as great and as pure as you."

Fu's blush could have lit up the entire park, she was that red. Doing the only thing she could think of to do at that moment, she buried her face in her boyfriend's chest and began trying to stammer something out, but all that came out of her mouth was unintelligible mumbo jumbo. When she finally got control of her thought process, she closed her eyes and clung to her honey tighter. "Why do you have to say such sweet things? You're really going to make me fall hard for you Mister!"

Laughing softly, Naruto nodded his head and kissed Fu's forehead lightly before leaning his head down so his lips were brushing her right ear ever so lightly. "That's the point. I'm going to make you fall so madly in love with me that you won't even think about anybody else. For I am the great Naruto-Man and I'm here to take away all of your love! Muwahahahahahahahahaaaaa!" At this, he began tickling Fu's sides, causing her to laugh loudly as she wriggled around in an attempt to get away.

"Stop. Stop it! It tickles! Oh Kami, stop! I can't take it!" Fu continued to giggle madly into the night as she and Naruto continued to play around together. So far, this had been a wonderful date and she hoped that there would be many, many more to come.

Five Days Later

Naruto and Fu's date went on for about another hour that night before the two of them had finally returned home for the evening. When they did, the two of them ended their date with a rather passionate kiss that lasted until Kushina finally broke them apart telling them that enough was enough already. Still, all-in-all, the date was a massive success and the two of them were definitely looking forward to many more.

Now, however, Naruto was preparing for another date with another of his gals. This time he was taking Kurotsuchi out for a date, and he had something else special planned for this lovely lady. After all, he had a feeling that rather than some fancy restaurant and a walk through the park, she'd probably enjoy something else a bit more. So he had made sure to prepare for a midday excursion and had made sure to dress in something simple, yet still fashionable, for his date today.

Today he was wearing a red shirt with a black Uzumaki spiral on the back. The sleeves of his shirt were rolled up to the elbow and his collar was folded down. Naruto was also wearing pale yellow, knee-length shorts that had orange stripes going down both sides. Finally, he had a pair of sunglasses on his face and he was wearing a pair of ninja sandals on his feet to finish off his look.

Currently he was waiting outside his home for his date, who seemed to be taking quite a while to get ready. If he was being honest with himself, he honestly couldn't imagine what it was that was taking Kurotsuchi so long to get herself ready to go. How much longer am I going to have to wait? I've been waiting half an hour already!

With Kurotsuchi

"I have no idea what the hell to wear!" Kurotsuchi exclaimed as she threw yet another pair of pants onto the floor of her room. Rushing to her closet once more, she began digging around in search of anything that looked even remotely presentable that might work for a date with the one she loved. So far, she hadn't had any luck whatsoever.

The young Iwa kunoichi was startled when she heard knocking on her door. Glancing over to it, she gave permission for whoever it was to enter and watched as Kushina and Naruko both entered her room with smiles on their faces. "Oh thank Kami. Please, you have to help me! What the heck do I wear on a date?!"

Giggling to themselves, the two women walked over and began to help Kurotsuchi go through her closet and drawers in search of the perfect outfit to wear for her date. As they did this, Kushina just had to say something. "You know Kuro-chan, my son won't care what you're wearing so long as you're comfortable and happy with it. You don't need to worry so much about this."

Blushing to herself as she hung her head, the pink-eyed lass nodded slowly. "I know that. But…but…" Sighing heavily, Kurotsuchi closed her eyes tight and shouted out the next part without meaning to. "But I want to look my absolute best for him! I love him damn it!"

Naruko giggled at this and smiled sweetly at her teammate. Walking over to her with a cute shirt she could wear, the redhead hugged her friend close and patted her back gently. "You're so cute Kuro-chan. Don't you worry about a thing then. Wear this and that skirt my mom just picked out and you'll knock my brother dead, just you watch."

Nodding slowly in response to this, Kurotsuchi could only smile nervously as she was forced to strip and change into what they had picked out for her right in front of her two 'guests'. I hope I haven't kept Naruto-kun waiting for me too long…

Outside

Naruto had leaned back against the wall of his house and closed his eyes while waiting for his girlfriend to come out of the house. During this time, he had actually found himself drifting off to sleep. When the door finally opened and his girlfriend actually did step outside, poor Naruto was dead to the world, he was that out of it. Feeling a tap on his shoulder, he jumped about a foot in the air before looking around frantically for whomever or whatever had startled him awake. Upon spotting Kurotsuchi giggling at his side, Naruto sweatdropped a bit and rubbed at the back of his head. "Umm…hi there Kuro-chan. Sorry for dozing off like that."

Shaking her head, Kurotsuchi hugged Naruto tight and kissed his whiskered cheek. "It's okay. I didn't mean to keep you waiting so long. Now, where are we going and what are we doing? I hope you have something fun planned for us today!" She asked excitedly, eager to begin this date after making her love wait so very long.

Chuckling a bit, Naruto held out his arm and allowed his date to link her arms with his. Beginning to lead them off to their first destination, the blonde grinned down at her. "Well my dear, I think I've lined up quite the wonderful day for us today. I just hope you enjoy it as much as I think you will."

Smirking up at him, Kurotsuchi leaned up and kissed him sweetly upon his lips. "As long as I'm with you, I think I'm going to have a wonderful day Naru-kun. You'd better believe it."

Sedona Konoha

Upon arriving at a rather fancy-looking clothing store, Kurotsuchi couldn't help but blink in confusion. "Umm, Naruto-kun? What are we doing at a clothing store?"

Smiling at his date, Naruto took her inside and led her to the sundresses. "We're here for you Kuro-chan. You've never really had the opportunity to really be a girl. You've been mistaken for a guy at times, and I know it bothers you. I want to give you the opportunity to really go wild and free yourself up. Get yourself some pretty dresses, do some girly things every once in a while, and just have fun. You might be surprised and find that you enjoy doing these things. I figured we would start off simple by getting you some sundresses and having you change into one for our date today."

Blushing in embarrassment at this, Kurotsuchi couldn't help but facepalm. When Naruto asked her why she did this, she looked him dead in the eyes and began to cry a bit. "I wasted so much time trying to find the perfect outfit for our date when you were bringing me here. If I had known, I could've saved us so much time! I feel so stupid!"

Quickly rushing over to his girlfriend, Naruto hugged her tight and began to kiss away her tears. After he did this, he placed a light kiss upon her lips and smiled at her afterwards. "Hey, hey. It's okay, there's no need to be so upset about that. I had no problems waiting for you. In fact, I'm happy just to spend time with you Kuro-chan. Now, enough about this morning. I want you to look through these sundresses and find all the ones you like. Then you should go try them on. I want to see how you look in each one! Got it?"

Giggling a bit, Kurotsuchi nodded her head and began to look through the racks of sundresses and began picking out the ones that she liked until she had a decent enough selection. After she had seven of them, she took her boyfriend's hand and led him straight to the dressing rooms where she sat him down on a bench and quickly rushed into one of the dressing rooms so she could try the dresses on and begin modeling them for her beloved.

After a short while, the beautiful, young transfer kunoichi from Iwa came out clad in a lovely lime green sundress with yellow polka dots. The dress extended down to just above her knees and it looked absolutely lovely on her, at least in Naruto's eyes. When Kurotsuchi saw Naruto admiring her with an appreciative eye, she blushed deeply and spun around for him. "So what do you think? Do you like it? Does it look good on me?"

Smiling at her, the blonde ninja nodded his head and walked over to his fiancé. Wrapping his arms around her, Naruto pulled her in close and gave her a long, passionate kiss while running a hand up and down her back, sending pleasant chills throughout her body as he did. When he pulled back, he gave her his answer, "You look beautiful Kurotsuchi-chan. Why don't you go try on the others and I'll buy you all the ones you like best, okay? Today is all about you my dear, and I want you to be as happy as can be by the end of the day."

Blushing even fiercer at this point, Kurotsuchi buried her face in her love's chest and nodded her head slowly. "O-Okay Naru-kun. Th-Thank you. I love you…so much." Giggling a bit like a shy schoolgirl with a crush, the young maiden in love rushed back into the dressing room so she could try on the next dress, as well as try to calm down her furious blush and racing heart.

Smiling to himself as he took his seat once again, the Uzumaki-Namikaze heir found himself grinning. She is just so cute and fun to tease. I'm really glad she's enjoying herself. I still can't believe she fell for me of all people. Still, I have to admit I'm happy she did. Kurotsuchi is a wonderful woman and I'm happy to be here with her today.

Later – Yamanaka Flowers

In the end, Kurotsuchi had ended up choosing four of the sundresses that she really liked, and so they were purchased for her. Three were currently sealed away in a storage scroll along with the clothes she had left the house in earlier that morning. At the moment, she was wearing the first sundress she had tried on, simply because she wanted to wear something special for her first date with her wonderful boyfriend.

Currently they were standing outside the Yamanaka Flowers store, though once again, Kurotsuchi wasn't exactly clear on why. Before she could ask however, her boyfriend led her into the store and led her towards a kindly-looking man standing behind the counter. "Naruto?" She tried to ask him, feeling just a tad nervous about this situation.

Smiling at her, Naruto looked back at the man behind the counter and motioned towards him. "Kuro-chan, this is Inoichi Yamanaka, Ino's father. Inoichi-san, this is Kurotsuchi-chan, my sister's teammate. I brought her here so she could browse your flowers for anything she might like. However, I was hoping you could give her some gardening tips to help her out. Kuro-chan has never cared for plants before, so after she finds a flower or two that she likes, could you maybe give her some advice, pretty please?"

Inoichi looked between his two customers and nodded with a small smile on his face. "Of course Naruto-kun. Go ahead and browse my wares. Once you find what you're looking for, come to the counter and I'll get you whatever else you might need."

With a nod and a heartfelt thanks, Naruto took Kurotsuchi by the hand once more and began to lead her around the store so she could look through the wide assortment of flowers and plants that the Yamanaka's had available. "Kuro-chan, take your time okay? If you see anything you like, I'll get it for you. To start off with however, only pick one or two, as caring for plants does take some effort. While it may seem easy, you have to really take care to be gentle with them and do things just right or you might accidentally harm the plant or even kill it if you aren't extra careful with them."

With a shrug of his shoulders, Naruto put his hand on his girlfriend's shoulder and smiled at her. "However, I want you to be able to do things you never got to do before, just like I told you earlier. You deserve to experience a world of new things, and if this makes you happy, then that's wonderful. But if you don't enjoy doing this, that's okay too. I just want you to give this a try, okay? If it's just not your thing, I'll take care of whatever plants you choose, I promise. At least you'll have given it a try, y'know?"

Nodding in response to this, Kurotsuchi resumed browsing the wares until she found three plants she liked. Picking them out, she had Naruto help her carry them to the front counter where Inoichi was waiting for them with some booklets placed before him on the counter. "Ah, good. I went ahead and prepared some booklets that should help teach you how to begin your garden Kurotsuchi-san. I'll include them free of charge with your purchase." He explained with a bright smile on his face.

Upon seeing the plants she had chosen, Inoichi held up a finger and walked off somewhere. Blinking in confusion, the black-haired woman turned to her fiancé who simply smiled at her in a knowing way. When Inoichi returned a moment later with three small pamphlets, she took them when offered to her and glanced at the covers before smiling as well.

"Those contain some very helpful tips on how to properly care for the plants you've chosen. Please do take good care of them Kurotsuchi-san." Inoichi said as he began to ring up her items for purchase. After doing so, he accepted the required amount of money from Naruto and watched as the young man sealed the plants away in a scroll. "You two have a great afternoon. And Naruto?"

Naruto glanced into Inoichi's eyes at this point and asked, "Hm? What's up Inoichi-san?"

"Ino's looking forward to your next date. Don't you keep her waiting too long, you understand me? I don't want to have to come after you for upsetting my dear daughter." The doting father said with an evil glint in his eye.

Chuckling softly to himself, the younger man nodded his head in the affirmative. "Sure thing Inoichi-san. Sadly, I don't know how much time I'll have this month. I've been awfully busy with training and then I have another date planned with someone else next week. Then again, if she isn't busy, I think I can take her out a couple of days before the finals start so long as nothing unexpected happens." Naruto stated, hoping that his explanation would satisfy the father of his beautiful blond girlfriend.

Inoichi nodded and patted the younger blonde on the shoulder. "Good to hear. I'll go ahead and make sure she keeps her schedule clear for you then. Now go on and enjoy the rest of your date. I apologize for taking up your time like this."

Receiving a nod in return, Naruto took Kurotsuchi by the hand and left the store. After they had left, he looked his girlfriend in the eyes and released a heavy sigh before hanging his head and slumping his shoulders. "I'm so sorry about that. I didn't know he would blindside me with something like that. I hope you're not too upset with me about having to set up another date while being out on a date with you Kuro-chan."

Giggling a bit, the pink-eyed Iwa kunoichi leaned in and kissed her sweetheart sweetly on the lips. "It's okay sweetheart. You weren't exactly given much of a choice in the matter. Besides, I know how father's can be. They love to dote on their daughters, and it seems Inoichi-san is no different." Wrapping her arms around one of Naruto's, she leaned her head on his shoulder and smiled brightly. "Now, how about we continue our date, hm?"

"That sounds like a fantastic idea to me. Let's go have some fun. There's one more destination I have in mind, and I hope you like it." Naruto said as he began to lead his beautiful fiancé off towards their final destination for the evening.

Deviant Nightclub

It was already dark by the time they arrived at their final destination for the evening. When Kurotsuchi saw the building her fiancé had taken her to, her eyes widened and she felt a small feeling of panic wash over her. "What are we doing at a place like this? Are you really sure we should be here?"

Giving his girlfriend a reassuring smile, Naruto hugged her against himself and kissed her cheek. "Don't worry. We're not here to drink or anything like that. I brought you here so we could try dancing together. Slow-dancing, fast-paced dancing, just something fun to do together you know? They play a wide variety of music here and it's a good place for couples to come and have a good time together. I've been here a few times with Ino and Sakura and I think you'll like it a lot. Please just give it a try?" He explained with a hopeful smile on his face.

After giving it some thought, the lass nodded slowly and smiled at her beloved Naruto-kun. "Sure. But if I don't like it, we leave. Got it Buster?" Seeing him nod and chuckle a bit, she leaned into him and just relished in the feeling of comfort she had at just being close to him. Kami I love this man.

As they entered the building, flashing their ninja ID cards to the bouncer along the way, the two of them could hear the loud music being played. It was almost loud enough that they couldn't even hear their own thoughts, but it wasn't really much of a bother to them. After all, they were here to have fun and fun they were going to have damn it!

So without a second thought, they entered the main area of the building and walked down to the dance floor where Kurotsuchi found herself freezing in place as a realization came to her. "Umm, Naruto-kun?" She said to get his attention. When he looked into her eyes, she began to sweat nervously before she looked down and mumbled something.

Worried about his girlfriend, Naruto placed a finger under her chin and gently tilted her head back up so she could face him. "I didn't hear you Sweetie. What's up? Are you not feeling well?"

Blushing fiercely, Kurotsuchi repeated her confession, but louder this time. "I said I don't know how to dance. I'm nervous." She admitted much to her own embarrassment.

Smiling at her in a reassuring way, Naruto took her hands in his and leaned in to kiss her lips lightly, yet sweetly. "Sweetheart," he said upon removing his lips from hers, "it's okay if you don't know how to dance. I never really learned to dance either. In fact, I'm sure a lot of people here don't really know how to dance. All you need to do is just do what feels natural to you and have fun. If you feel like you're making a goof out of yourself, don't let it bother you, just have fun with it and go with the flow. It's more fun that way if you ask me." Smirking at her, he leaned in and, after placing a hand on her cheek, began to kiss her more passionately this time.

Giving herself wholly to the kiss, Kurotsuchi wrapped her arms around her love's neck and pressed her body against his, her breasts pressing tight against his chest through her dress. When they finally parted, both of their faces were flushed and they began to giggle like the happy couple they were. It didn't take long for them to begin swaying and dancing to the music after that.

About twenty minutes into their fun however, Kurotsuchi felt something that really set her off and made her want to roast somebody's balls. Spinning around, she slapped a man's face hard and sent him the fiercest glare she could. "How fucking dare you?!" She shouted loud enough for everyone in the establishment to hear her.

The man clutched a hand to his face and glared back at the pissed kunoichi. "What the fuck's your problem you stupid bitch?!"

"Don't you dare! I caught you red-handed you asshole! I should melt your fucking balls off for what you did!" Kurotsuchi yelled. She felt mortified and could feel tears stinging at her eyes. "You snuck your hand up my dress and felt up my butt! The only person I'll ever allow to touch me like that is my fiancé you fucking pervert!"

At hearing this, Naruto began to see red. Reaching out, he grabbed the man by his collar and pulled him close. "You fucking asshole. This is my fiancé's first time in a place like this and you ruin it for her by pulling shit like that? Guess what pal…" With a quick movement, Naruto severed the man's offending limb from his body and watched as his blood began to stain the dance floor. Of course, Naruto made sure to aim the spray of blood away from both himself and his lovely bride-to-be so as not to stain their outfits. "Now you can't go feeling up another woman with that hand again. If you try it again and I find out about it, you'll lose the other one. Let's go Kuro-chan; I think we've overstayed our welcome."

Nodding her head in agreement, Kurotsuchi was about to follow her boyfriend, but stopped and donned an evil little smirk before tugging on his arm to signal for her beloved to wait. "Hold on. I have another idea to pay our 'friend' back for daring to touch me." Reaching down to the man writhing on the floor, clutching his bloody stump and screaming in agony, the Iwa kunoichi ripped his pants and briefs off and kicked him onto his back. "With this, you won't be able to hurt another woman so long as you live you perverted freak! Lava Release: Lava Bullet Technique!" She shouted as she spat out a single bullet of lava onto the man's penis and balls.

Turning to her boyfriend, she grasped his hand and smiled happily at him. "Now I'm ready to leave. Let's be on our way back home, shall we Naru-kun?" She said in a rather cheery tone. After all, now that she had paid that pervert back for daring to cop a feel of her perky ass, she was in a much better mood.

One Week Later

Currently we find our hero on a night out with Mikoto Uchiha. Both of them are dressed up in formal attire and are currently enjoying dinner in one of her favorite places to eat, a small, yet homey little restaurant called Whisperwind. They weren't anything fancy, but they made some really good food that she rather enjoyed whenever she felt like eating out. As it was his first time eating here, Naruto had to admit that he liked the homey atmosphere and the food was delicious.

"I'm really glad you chose this restaurant Mikoto-chan. It's absolutely incredible. I wonder why I didn't know about this place before now." Naruto said, feeling rather curious about why he had never heard about this particular restaurant before this moment in time.

Giggling to herself a bit, Mikoto smiled at her younger lover and patted him on one of his hands. "It's not very well known by the younger generation Naruto-kun. This particular restaurant has been open since before I was born and I'm sure it'll be around long after the both of us are dead. It's a family run business after all, and with how good the food is and how friendly the people are, I honestly wouldn't be surprised at all if they stayed in business long after even our grandchildren pass away."

Blushing at the thought of children and grandchildren, Naruto looked at Mikoto and began to wonder if she even realized what she had just said. When she began to blush badly, he knew that she finally realized what she had just said and began to laugh a bit. "I was wondering when you were going to catch what you just said."

Slapping Naruto's left hand, Mikoto shushed him. "Oh hush you. I was lost in my own thoughts for a while there. I don't plan to do something like…like that until we're darn good and ready and you know it! So don't you go teasing me Mister Uzumaki!" Mikoto exclaimed right before she broke into a giggle fit that Naruto soon joined her in.

When they had finally calmed down, the two of them resumed eating their meals in peace for a time. Upon finishing his meal, Naruto looked deep into his older girlfriend's eyes and decided to voice a question that was on his mind. "Mikoto-chan?" When he was sure he had her attention, Naruto proceeded with his question. "Do you really want to have children with me someday?"

Blushing fiercely at this, Mikoto slowly nodded her head. "It's something I have thought about throughout the month. I'm getting on in years Naruto-kun, and both of my children have…well…you already know what they're like. Itachi-kun killed my husband and the rest of the clan before fleeing Konoha, and Sasuke…well…"

Nodding his head slowly, Naruto grabbed his girlfriend's hands and began to run gentle circles on her palms with his thumbs to try and soothe her troubled soul. "Honey, please don't be sad. I know…I know it's hard. Sasuke won't even treat you like his own mother anymore and I don't know why. He should be ecstatic that he still has you in his life, but he…he isn't. But you shouldn't let that get to you."

Taking a deep breath, Naruto got up and walked around to his girlfriend's side before pulling her into a tight hug. "Miko-chan, I love you. I really do. When we do reach that stage in our relationship, and I know we will with time, and I give you the children you so deserve, we'll raise them right and they'll never hurt you like your children with Fugaku have. I guarantee it. That's a promise of a lifetime right there. Do you understand me?"

As her blush became even fiercer, Mikoto nodded slowly into her boyfriend's chest. Reaching up, she slowly wrapped her arms around Naruto's back and hugged him back. "Thank you Naruto-kun. Thank you for being such a wonderful young man. Thank you for being there for me all the time and for loving me. I'm so glad you asked me to be with you. I'm…happy. Happier than I've been in a long, long time."

Smiling to himself, Naruto tilted Mikoto's head up and leaned in, capturing Mikoto's lips with his in a tender, yet passionate kiss and lifted her out of her seat. Pulling her flush against him, Naruto deepened their kiss until their tongues were wrestling for dominance and the two of them were just barely restraining their beastly urges from taking charge of this moment. When they pulled away from one another, both of them were flushed and breathing heavily. After a moment, they both began to giggle happily. "Naru-kun, has anyone ever told you that your kisses are magical?"

Smirking at this, Naruto shook his head in the negative. "Miko-chan, you would be the first to use that particular word. I'm really glad you think so, because I plan to give you many, many more for the rest of our lives. You're my fiancé now Miko-chan, and we'll be together for the rest of our lives, I can promise you that. Now, what do you say to paying for our meal and then getting out of here? We do have a movie to get to after all."

Giggling like a schoolgirl, Mikoto nodded and, before Naruto could stop her, paid for the meal herself before taking her man by the hand and leading him out of the restaurant. When he went to say something, she placed a finger over his lips and smirked at him. "Just because you're the man in this relationship doesn't mean you have to pay for everything mister. Don't complain, got it?" Seeing him nod, Mikoto leaned into him and began to brush her fingers through his hair. "You're such a handsome young man Naruto-kun. I'm so lucky to have you."

Blushing at this, Naruto nodded his head slowly before he decided to say something about that. "Personally, I think I'm the lucky one Miko-chan. You're such a beautiful woman that any man would be lucky to have you. I'm still amazed that you said yes. But enough about that, we have a movie to get to!" With a grin, Naruto took her hand and began to walk with his beautiful older girlfriend to their next destination. After all, they had a new Princess Gale movie to go see!

Later that night – Uchiha Compound

Throughout the movie, Naruto and Mikoto couldn't help but occasionally turn and kiss one another and even nip at one another's necks. They both left hickeys and even kept giggling as they teased one another by tickling each other and generally distracting each other in a variety of silly ways. They were honestly just happy to be in each other's company and couldn't resist getting a bit touchy-feely with one another. However, watch the movie they did and they had to admit that it was a rather good one.

Now, however, they were standing on the doorstep of Mikoto's home. The two of them were rather reluctant to part from one another. At the moment they were holding each other close and were staring deep into each other's eyes. "Naru-kun, I really don't want this date to end. It's been so wonderful and it feels like it's been such a beautiful dream. I almost want to pinch myself to see if I'm asleep." The Uchiha matriarch admitted.

Chuckling to himself, Naruto nodded his head as he held Mikoto just a bit closer. "I know what you mean Miko-hime. I've had such a wonderful time and I don't want this date to end either. Everything has just been so perfect tonight. But sadly, I do have training again in the morning. If only the Chunin Exams weren't taking place, I could stay with you even longer. I didn't think I could truly love someone as much as I love you Miko-chan." I love all of my fiancés so much. They're all so wonderful. Naruto thought silently to himself. He knew it wouldn't be appropriate to say such a thing out loud whilst on a date with Mikoto at the moment, but he truly meant what he said to her. He loved her so much, just as much as he loved Naruko and the others.

Giggling to herself, Mikoto nodded her head and leaned in to kiss her fiancé. "I love you too Naru-kun. My handsome prince. I never want to let you go." Sadly, this moment was about to be interrupted by quite the unwelcome guest.

"What the hell is going on here?!" A voice shouted at them from a short distance away. The both of them turned to see Sasuke glaring at them with so much hate in his eyes it almost felt like he could burn holes straight through them with his glare alone. "What the hell are you doing with my mother dobe?!"

At this, something within Naruto snapped and he felt and heard himself retorting before he could even think to hold his tongue. "Oh, so now she's your mother?! You haven't treated her like your mother in the longest damn time teme! Not since the damned massacre have you treated Miko-chan like your mother! Think you can explain exactly why that is to me you stupid bastard?!"

Narrowing his eyes further as he glared even harder at the dobe, as he referred to the Uzumaki-Namikaze heir as, Sasuke Uchiha decided to answer. "That stupid bitch should have died in place of my father that night. She is useless to me! Just some no name woman that can't do anything right! And now I find her kissing you of all people?! I guess she's just proven herself to be some cheap whore as well!"

Turning his gaze to his mother, Mikoto, Sasuke activated his Sharingan and pointed a finger behind him. "Get the hell out of the Uchiha compound you slut! A bitch like you has no place amongst the Uchiha! You're a disgrace to the Uchiha name and have no right calling yourself one! From this point forth, I declare that you are no Uchiha and I banish you from living in this compound you filthy, disgraced whore!"

As Mikoto began to break down into tears at what she was hearing from her son, Naruto began to see red. "How dare you teme?! She's your mother for crying out loud! Look at what you've done to her! Mikoto-chan loves you and you've just turned her into a sobbing mess! So the hell what if we went on a date?! That does not make your mother a whore or anything of the sort! Apologize to her this instant you stupid asshole!" Naruto demanded angrily.

Turning his glare upon Naruto, the angry Uchiha heir held out his hand and activated a new technique taught to him by his teacher in preparation for the Chunin Exams: the Chidori. With a growl, he shouted something to Naruto before charging forth. "Shut up you fucking demon! I won't have you tarnishing my home anymore than you already have with your filthy presence! Chidori!"

Already knowing what this technique could do from witnessing Kakashi using it in the past, Naruto quickly slipped around it and proceeded to break Sasuke's arm in three places with three very quick, precise strikes. Afterwards, he chopped the Uchiha heir in the back of the neck to knock him out and watched as Sasuke crumpled to the ground in an undignified heap. Knowing that he was a danger to not just himself, but to others as well, Naruto quickly performed a series of hand seals before flipping Sasuke over and pressing his left index and middle finger to Sasuke's forehead and shouting out: "Forbidden Sealing Technique: Doujutsu Removal: Seal!"

With a heavy sigh, Naruto watched as a sealing matrix spread from his fingertips before forming a seal on Sasuke's forehead and disappeared shortly afterwards. He could easily undo it later, but for the moment it was better that he lose access to his Sharingan until he was deemed 'stable'. Turning back to his fiancé, Naruto rushed over to her and hugged her close in an effort to calm her down. "It's alright Miko-chan. Shhh, don't let his words get to you. You are none of those things he called you, and he has no power over you. If anything, he's the disgrace to the Uchiha name. You have full power to take away his name if you so choose. In fact, you can make him homeless if you wanted. You are the Uchiha matriarch after all. So please, don't let his words get to you. You're my beloved Miko-chan after all. We'll deal with the teme in a bit. Let's get you inside and get you cleaned up before we call for the ANBU to take him away. I think we're in for a long night." And with that, Naruto led his girlfriend inside so they could get her cleaned up, knowing that a council meeting would likely be called so they could determine what to do with the Uchiha now that he had attempted to kill one of the other contestants outside of the Exams. As Shika would say, this is too damn troublesome.

A/N - Okay, first off, I was running a fever most of the damn time I was writing this chapter, so if it kinda sucks...yeaaaah. Sorry if it's not the greatest chapter in the world.

Second, I'm not sure if you can tell or not, but I've never been on a date before, sooo...I don't know if the dates I had him take the girls on were any good. I'll admit it now: I'm 30 years-old and I've never so much as been kissed. *sweatdrops*

The next chapter will have the repercussions of Sasuke's attack on Naruto, so I hope you're looking forward to that. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be working on chapter 10 of this story next. Insteaaaaad...

Next up is chapter 1 of a new story. Yep, ANOTHER new story. Sorry peoples, but it's another story I've had planned for quite some time now. So hopefully you'll be looking forward to seeing that. If not, oh well. *shrugs*

I'll probably be putting up the schedule that I'm going by on my profile again just in case you're all curious about what's coming next or when I'll be working on new chapters for current stories or whatever. I dunno. I'm really just so out of it right now that I can't even think straight.
