It was after 4am. Fitz was gone but his last moments with her lived rent-free in her head. It was a new position for them. He sat on the bed with a mountain of pillows propping him up. Olivia straddled him and he pulled her hands behind her back and sucked her nipples, fucking her, and she attempted to ride him. Fitz called the position, 'the nipple offensive'. She was sure he made up the name but regardless, it was hours later and she was lying in bed at 4am, finger fucking herself with one hand and pinching her nipples with the other, mad with memories of the night. Halfway through, she realized that if she focused hard enough, she could pretend it was Fitz. Her bony fingers felt like nothing compared to his huge cock but that's why she needed to focus so she could forget it wasn't him. She could hear how wet she was as she moved her fingers in and out of herself. She pushed them so far inside that she could feel her knuckles at her opening. It didn't take long for her to cum on her fingers. After that, she finally got out of bed and started her bath.

It was going to be a long couple of weeks without him.

She dressed and ate the oatmeal and fruit that Simone made for her breakfast. After she wrote a few notes for Anna and Simone, she left for work.

She called Fitz on facetime just after 8am, she knew he would still be in the air and might be asleep but it was the first break in her day. It would be tricky while he was in Tokyo because it was 13 hours ahead there, not to mention the 14-hour flight he would need to get there. He didn't answer, which meant he was asleep or probably didn't have reception where he was. She was sure he would call back so she went back to work, counting down until he did.

It wasn't until almost 10am that her phone vibrated in her pocket, luckily she was in the intern's office reading through the case file for a load of patients she got saddled with. Abby was beside her though her shift would end by midday. She answered quickly, smiling. "Are you there yet?"

He chuckled, "just landed. Headed to my place."

"Oh, I forgot you had a place in Japan."

"I just remembered, some guys are stopping by the apartment to install some cameras. I'm not sure what time Camilla booked them though."

"Oh- not in our bedroom though, right?"

"Nah unless you wanna watch it after?"

Olivia laughed, "No. Anyways I just wanted to hear your voice and know you landed safely."

"You're kicking me off the phone already?"

"Well, I have company so what I really want to say to you, I can't."

He laughed, "you were playing with your pussy this morning, weren't you. The nipple offensive is a charmer for sure."

"Shut up," Olivia guffawed.

"It's okay, I was choking my dick too."

"Oh my god-"

"The entire flight Olivia."

"-I can't with you-"

"I love you, Livie. We'll talk later."

Olivia smiled, "I love you too. Later."

Just like that, her day seemed brighter.

"When's he coming back?" Abby asked.

"In a couple of weeks, he had a bunch of work stuff he was putting off because of the whole Herman thing so…"

"Oh- so finish telling me about the party. You said you wanted to have a Christmas/ housewarming party?"

Olivia nodded, "I'd invite our class of residents obviously and some of the nurses that are my friends."

"No attendings?"

"Um...I'm not sure. I wanted it to be fun, no bosses around."

"Invite the attendings, they'll be sour if you don't. At least the ones we work with a lot."

Olivia shrugged, "maybe but I'm gonna hire a caterer. It's gonna be so fun."

"That's expensive. Your boyfriend is paying for it?"

Olivia nodded, "yeah, he said I could throw whatever party I wanted."

Abby nodded, "lucky girl- are we good enough friends that I can admit to you that I'm a little jealous? Like not..you know not...jealous-jealous like in a bad way but bitch, I'm jealous. I need a rich boyfriend too. I mean, look at your closet, he spends so much money on you, it blows my mind. I want one."

Olivia shook her head, "well I didn't go looking for him."

"Yeah and I mean, even if you get a boyfriend who has a little money, there's no guarantee that they'll actually want to spend money on you. I mean, look at Justin, he's a fellow and he just started making 200k a year and he's being a dick to his girlfriend because of it. He makes her pay for everything and what does she make...like 45k..not even."

"Okay but Justin was always an asshole though, I don't think making more money would make him nicer," Olivia said.

Abby agreed and they continued working. Just after noon, Abby left and went back to her hotel. As Olivia stood at the nurse's station, getting an update on her patient, Dr. Roberts, the head neurosurgery attending, and her mentor stopped by. "Dr. Pope," he greeted.

Olivia turned around and smiled, "good afternoon, Dr. Roberts."

"Well, it's good to finally see your smile around these halls again. It feels like ages since you've been here."

"Well, I'm back for good and I'm ready to learn anything you want to teach."

He laughed, "I have a ventricular shunt procedure on a kid with hydrocephalus. Scrub in, I'll let you run point."

Olivia clapped excitedly, "awesome."

"Then I'll let you out early and we can go for a drink and catch up."

Olivia froze, "oh- I..um...I don't drink."

"Come on, it'll be fun, let loose. Around 9 we'll meet up at Beck's," he said over his shoulder as he walked away.

Olivia frowned and turned back to the nurse's station. "You knew that was coming, " Avila said. She was a nurse Olivia had worked with since her first year.

"No, I don't want to go."

"Well, what are you gonna do? Everyone knows Roberts has had it in for you."

"Not true."

Olivia flashed back to the night of her kidnapping months ago when Abby had made a similar comment about Dr. Roberts wanting to sleep with her.

"Does he? I thought he was just nice and I mean liked me a little but not enough to ask me out. He's like 30 years older than me."

"Guys never think they are too old," Avila said, "especially one as arrogant as Roberts."

"Damn it, am I that clueless?"

"You're a little on the innocent side honestly but you're 25, that's not a bad thing."

"I'm not that innocent."

"Okay Brittney," Avila teased.

Olivia laughed, "I swear, I'm a naughty girl and I do naughty things."

Avala laughed and shook her head.

"I'll just invite Abby or maybe even you."

"I'm not third-wheeling his date so he can have me cleaning more shit for the next month. Let Abby do it and just play clueless. It's cute."

"Fine," Olivia said as she pulled out her phone and texted Abby. "If this doesn't work then just put me on all the patients you have before you leave. I'll rather work my ass off all night than have drinks with Roberts."

"You got it, doc." Avila teased.

Olivia rolled her eyes playfully and turned away, "perfect, I'm gonna go prep for this surgery. Should be fun," she said sarcastically.

The day continued. The shunt procedure lasted hours but Olivia performed it perfectly. She scrubbed in on another surgery and when she was finished, went back to the office to eat and complete post-op paperwork. Around 8:30, Dr. Roberts knocked and walked into the resident office without waiting for an answer.

"Dr. Pope, I would have thought you'd be getting ready to head out," he said with a smile.

Olivia turned around on her spinning chair. "Um- I was just coming to find you."

He walked closer.

"I'd rather not go out for drinks."

"Oh," he said, "did you have something else in mind?"

Olivia chuckled, "oh- no, I just didn't want to go out at all."

"Come on, one drink won't hurt. I'm actually doing you a favor by letting you out early."

"That's the thing, I don't want to get out early. I want to stay and work, like you said, It's been a crazy couple of months for me, I just want to be here."

"I'll see you tomorrow," he said, "good work on that kid today. You're creme de la creme here, even when you're not here as much as the others."

Olivia nodded politely, "thank you."

He turned on his heels and headed out. She took a breath and continued working.

The days with Fitz gone drug on but Olivia kept herself busy with work and the planning of what she called her Christmas housewarming party. In between that, she finally got permission from the police to move her things from her apartment. Whatever furniture Maya or Abby didn't want to move into their shared apartment she had the movers leave on the side of the street so that whoever wanted it could take it. Her books, she put in the den of her new apartment and almost everything else she gave away.

It was just a week after Fitz had gone when she was standing with Abby and a few other residents by the central desk on the surgery floor and saw a man walking towards the desk with the largest bouquet of flowers she had ever seen. It had to be 100 stems of white roses at least. He stopped at the desk.

"Uhh… I have a delivery for a Dr. Pope."

She felt her cheeks burn as she blushed. Avila pointed to Olivia. "That's dr. Pope." The man stepped to Olivia and handed her the flower. "Thank you," Olivia said, unable to stop smiling. The flowers were heavy in her hands and looked absolutely beautiful. There was a card tucked to a pick sticking out from the stems. She pulled it off and opened it. It read.

Are you smiling?

She was smiling and Fitz's silly card made her smile even more. He was so smooth.

"Woah, who are those from?" Avila asked.

"Someone," Olivia said.

"Her man," Abby interjected.

Dr. Roberts and Dr. Rodney headed their way. There would be a joint surgery that the entire resident team would take turns scrubbing in on.

"Love is in the air," Dr. Rodney teased as she stopped by the group with Dr. Roberts in tow.

Olivia smiled but said nothing.

"Team one, follow me, team two, to the gallery," Dr. Roberts said. "Olivia join team two." He stepped off. Olivia turned to Abby, "I guess I won't be starting the surgery anymore."

Abby shrugged, "because you got flowers?"

"I'm not sure," Olivia said, "what a very inconvenient time for him to be an asshole. It doesn't matter, I'll put these in my call room and meet you in the gallery."

Abby nodded and walked off. Olivia dropped her flowers off and texted Fitz to thank him then headed to the operating gallery. During the 12 hour surgery, Dr. Roberts didn't allow her to perform any part of the operation and he seemed very deliberate about it. The surgery finished and they filed out of the OR in a line as each one scrubbed out in the scrub room. Olivia was quick since she hadn't actually participated in the surgery, just watched. She waited outside until Dr. Roberts left the scrub room and followed him down the hall. He'd seen her but continued walking.

"Dr. Roberts," Olivia called as she caught up to him, "can I talk to you."

"I'm very busy, make it quick."

"Okay, well, when we planned the surgery, you told me I would let me practice the Krocko-Tsaishac maneuver, and just now, you refused to let me make me suture an incision."

He stopped and sighed, "you've been back one week and already you're hogging all the surgeries. Don't you think the other residents deserve a chance to cut too?"

"That's not-"

He stepped closer, "you're a bright girl, Olivia but you're not the only bright person here."

"I'm sorry, is this because I didn't accept your offer for drinks?" Olivia asked.

He scoffed, offended, "of course not." He walked away then turned back. "Who were the flowers from?"

"Excuse me?"

He smiled, "new cars, flowers? A couple of weeks ago you let a patient die for god sake. Something definitely has your attention so I think you should take a step back and remember why medicine is important to you."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"It means that I think you should return to the basics for a while, you're off the surgery rotation."

"What?"

"Until further notice."

"You can't do that-" Olivia barked.

"Head neurosurgeon at one of the best hospitals in the country, I think I can get a resident off my service if I want… until her attitude changes to one I find more agreeable."

He stepped off without elaborating.

It had been two days since she'd been taken off surgery. The new role Dr. Roberts gave her was supervising volunteers in the hospital. The absolutely most boring, basic, and torturous thing he could find. She was stuck explaining the most basic medical concepts to mostly high school students.

"You should tell the chief?" Abby said as she sat in Olivia's on-call room.

"Tell him what? That Roberts gave me an assignment I don't like. I'm not the first resident he's done that to. He wants me to come back to him groveling and begging for surgeries and I'm not doing that. Besides, he's not an idiot, he didn't say anything I can actually go back to the chief and say was harassment or something."

"You can say he asked you out and you declined and that's when we took you off surgery."

"That's not enough for me to be taken seriously, Abby."

"So what are you gonna do then?"

Olivia signed, "I don't know. I'm gonna wait it out and see or maybe try to get on another service."

Abby shrugged, "I still think you should say something."

"I documented what's happened so far, I'll keep doing that until I think I have enough."

"That's very smart actually. Did you tell Maya?"

"Yup and she thinks I should go to him and apologize?"

"Why?"

"She doesn't think I did anything wrong but she just thinks he's a man and he'll get over it if I grovel."

"I mean hate to admit it but she's not wrong. I couldn't do it though."

"I can't either, which is why I didn't. I'm going to suffer through this for a few weeks and then if he doesn't switch me back I'm changing my preference."

"That's not fair though. You like neuro."

"It's not the end of the world. Being any kind of surgeon is better than being nothing at all."

Abby stood and stretched. "The old you would've been in a full-on panic episode at your future not being the perfect vision you imagined."

Olivia shrugged, "honestly, I would have but I'm different now."

"Anyways, your party is in a few days. I'm excited. What are you wearing?"

Olivia finally smiled, "this really cute diamond-strapped mesh dress I ordered from online."

"What did it cost like $1000?"

She shrugged and Abby chuckled, "omg did it?"

"It was cute," Olivia defended. "But it was only $700."

"Oh 'it was only $700,' like that isn't a lot of fucking money. I remember a time you'd be appalled by someone spending that much on an outfit."

"Me too," Olivia agreed, "but things are different now."

Abby smiled, "I'm not mad at you. If I could fit your clothes I'd be in your closet wearing everything. Ugh…why do you have to be so skinny. What is your waist, like a 23/24, I'm skinny too but not that damn skinny."

All Olivia could do was chuckle because she knew she would lose her size soon enough.

"Well, suck it up, the caterers are booked. I'm not really decorating. I'll just have tons of food and drinks. Can't go wrong with that right?"

"No, you can't."

"Perfect."

Days passed and it was finally the night of the party. Olivia was more excited about the fact that Fitz would be coming back home in the morning than she was about the actual party. She chose the Sunday on December 20th because that was her scheduled day off. She left the hospital at 6am, her usual time, went home, and napped to kill time before her salon opened at 10am for her appointment. She spent the rest of the morning in the salon getting $1500 extensions added to her hair and detailing her fingers and toes. She waxed and then went out to finish shopping for the holidays. It was tricky getting a gift for Fitz when she mostly used the credit card he gave her for all her expenses. It's not really a gift for him if he paid for it. She thought about using her salary which had been mostly untouched since Fitz returned to her life. That totaled to just about $5000 which was barely enough to buy an outfit for him let alone some rare, limited edition gift that he would like. It was hard having a boyfriend who liked such expensive things and even harder not having any money of your own to treat him the way he treated you still she was determined to get him something special and if that meant perusing all the high-end thrift and vintage stores in the city then she would.

She spent most of the day out and about. Andrey and two other guards stayed back with her while Fitz was gone. He was the one who followed her around, holding her bags and opening doors for her.

She got home just after 5pm. She'd asked Anna to switch her days and work on a Sunday so when she got home Anna was there and had already let in the catering team to set up. Five waiters would tend to the party guests and two cooks who had set up in her kitchen. Olivia invited a total of 22 guests. All 8 3rd year residents, one 2nd year and two 4th year, three nurses, one nurse assistant she worked with a lot, and four of the attending surgeons on the floor. She also invited one fellow and one receptionist from the surgery floor. They would fit comfortably in the spacious first floor of her apartment. Over the week the title of her party changed from 'Christmas housewarming' to just a Christmas party. It was hell getting shifts covered and most of the doctors would be on-call but Sunday was the only day a party like this could be possible.

She called Fitz a little after she got in. He was in Mexico and the time difference wasn't as great as it had been in Italy or Japan or the Philippines. They talked about their usual things, how much she missed him and how excited she was for her doctor's appointment on Monday. She left out just how much hell work had been and usually kept the conversation as light as possible.

After they exchanged I love you's, she hung up and went to get ready for the party. She wrapped her hair up and showered then oiled her skin and curled her hair into loose waves. She finished her makeup and got dressed in a nude-colored slightly shimmering mesh mini dress with delicate diamante straps and Saint Laurent heels. She painted her lips red to finish off her look. It was almost 8pm when Maya called her letting her know she was downstairs and needed to be let in. Olivia rushed down, as fast as she could in heels and opened the door for Maya.

"Hi Mama," Olivia greeted brightly.

Maya's eyes opened wide at the sight of Olivia then she took a breath and leaned in and kissed Olivia's cheek. "Hi honey," Maya greeted. "I forgot which apartment you lived in and came off on the wrong floor.

"Oh, why didn't you call me?"

"I figured it out soon enough," she said. "Abigail was still getting ready when I left in the taxi over here."

"Yeah, she texted me." Olivia stepped back from the door, "come on in."

Maya stepped into the apartment and looked around. There was a large decorated Christmas tree and not much else in the way of decoration. On the coffee table in front of the couch, there was a large beautiful charcuterie spread with meats, cheese, nuts, fruit, and types of bread and crackers. She saw the servers setting up the bar across the room with a bartender setting up to begin mixing drinks. Another man was placing some chairs for guests. Anna was walking around making sure everything was in place. It wasn't Maya's first time at the apartment.

"It looks good," Maya said.

"Thanks - I have to go figure out this playlist thing. The apartment has a pretty good sound system so hopefully, it works because I didn't get a DJ."

"I'll come," Maya said.

Olivia nodded and headed to the den, Maya followed. Olivia hooked her laptop up to the sound system and began playing the Christmas mix she found on Spotify. It was 20 minutes until guests would arrive.

Once Olivia finished setting up the music and the sound was emanating through the apartment's 1st floor, she turned to Maya. "You look nice mom," Olivia said. Maya was wearing a sequined black dress and tiny heels.

"And you look cold," Maya said, "but beautiful."

Olivia chuckled, "my dress is not that short and the heat in the apartment is great so I'll live," she began to say but then her phone chimed in her hand cutting off her train of thought. She checked it quickly and saw that a group of nurses arrived early and were downstairs at the front desk, about to make their way up. "Avila and the others are coming up." She began walking back to the living area and once again Maya followed.

"How's my grandbaby?" she asked.

"Good, no sickness yet. My nipples are really sensitive at night though, for the past week and a half maybe?"

Maya smiled, "I had that, it lasted my entire pregnancy with you. They never tell you how much the nipples will hurt so I'll tell you now. It was bad."

"How bad?" Olivia asked, hesitantly. There were way too many symptoms of pregnancy to predict which ones she would have.

"Very irritating. They would only feel good if something warm was compressing them. I used to use warm, wet rags."

"Okay but mom, no one knows I'm pregnant so don't mention it at the party."

"Okay, fine. I won't but I don't know why I can't come with you to your doctor's appointment tomorrow."

Olivia sighed, annoyed to have to go over it again with Maya."Because Fitz will be there and it'll be really uncomfortable to be in between the two of you."

"I told you I'm fine with him."

"You can pretend you are and I'm happy you're putting out an effort, I really am but you're not totally comfortable with him and that's fine. I just don't want it to be awkward."

"So you choose him to go, instead of me."

Olivia shook her head, "it's his kid, mom."

"It's my grandbaby."

Olivia smiled, "yes, it is so stop worrying. I'll let you know everything that my doctor says after the appointment."

Maya rolled her eyes and nodded. Olivia told the caterers and the two cooks in the kitchen that guests were arriving. As she walked back to the living room from the kitchen, there was a ring on her doorbell. One of the servers, dressed in black bottoms and a white top with a red tie walked over and opened the door, letting in a group of 4 people, three of the nurses and the receptionist.

"Woah," Avila mused, "Olivia, you didn't tell me you were living like this."

Olivia smiled, "Merry Christmas! It's so great you could make it."

"No, this place is nice," another said. "Oh my god, is that a terrace? Can we go out there?"

Olivia nodded.

One of the servers began taking jackets to hang up on the rack the catering services placed outside in the hall. Mikal was outside standing watch and he fit in perfectly with all the extra workers in the apartment.

"Are those drinks?"

Olivia nodded, "help yourselves or one of the waiters can help you."

"You look amazing," one of the other nurses said.

"Thanks so much!" Olivia said.

They walked out into the living room and then there was another knock on the door. Olivia checked the time and it was 8:30. She opened the door and Abby and 4 other residents were there. The party officially began at 8:30 and by 9pm most of her guests had arrived and the party was in full swing with alcoholic eggnogs in most hands and chatter humming just below the music. Olivia had regular eggnog as she walked around and socialized. Just after 9, her bell rang but she didn't rush over to answer. One of the servers did. Justin walked in. He was a urology surgery fellow who was their resident supervisor in their first year. He was the last invited guest. Behind him, was Dr. Roberts, who wasn't invited. Olivia tapped Abby. and she turned around. "He's getting very irritating now, why is he here and why did Justin bring him?" Abby asked.

Olivia shrugged and took a sip of her eggnog and decided to ignore the entire situation. "Whatever, let's talk about something else," Olivia said but by then Justin had made his way over. "Why is he here with you? He wasn't invited," Olivia asked curtly.

"He promised me a surgery," Justin said with a smile, "good night, by the way, you look great."

"Don't try to flatter me," Olivia said. Justin was a jokester through and through and wouldn't take you seriously unless you pressed him. "You're a urologist, what do you want from a neurosurgeon?"

"He has a guy with a broken brain and penis. We're gonna double team him."

Olivia rolled her eyes and Justin smiled and hugged her. "Don't be mad at me smiley, I'll try to get you in on it."

Olivia pushed him off lightly, "whatever. You're not invited here again. Roberts is public enemy number one."

"I heard," he said with a sly smile. "By the way, you didn't tell me you were living so large. How much does this place cost?"

"You couldn't afford it," Olivia teased.

"I make 200k," Justin countered. "And I could just google your address so tell me."

"I know and you still couldn't afford it."

"Damn," Justin said, laughing. "Is that how it is around here?"

"That's exactly how it is," Olivia said with a smile.

Dr. Roberts walked over. "Swanky party you have here. I couldn't believe the other attendings in your rotation were invited but I wasn't. I figured it had to be a mistake and well, here I am."

Olivia forced a dry, polite smile, "of course, glad you could make it."

The tension was thick and it became uncomfortable quickly."Please, mingle and enjoy the party," Olivia said, icily. "The eggnog is to die for." Olivia turned to walk away but Dr. Roberts grabbed her hand. Olivia's eyes opened wide and so did Abby's and he let her go immediately as if he didn't realize what he did. "I..uhh..was hoping I could have a minute to talk to you alone."

"I'm a little busy, right now-"

"It won't take long. I'm sure you can spare a moment."

Olivia took a breath and nodded to Abby that it was okay to leave. Justin stepped away as well.

"Quite a nice place for a resident. What- did you win the lottery or something?" He joked.

Oliva stared at him up and down but didn't respond.

"Look, you're one of my favorite residents and I think that if you chose to, we could fix this situation between us."

"What should I choose to do?" Olivia said, politely.

"Maybe let's not discuss it tonight. We can meet up for a bite to eat tomorrow. You are on-call aren't you, but not scheduled to come in?"

"Maybe I wasn't clear the last time we spoke so let me be clear this time. I have no desire to meet with you in any setting that isn't completely professional."

"Well, then I guess you'll keep giving tours to volunteers."

"I guess I will until the chief begins to wonder why his top 3rd-year resident is absent from the ORs then you can explain to him that you've decided to use what little power you have to punish me professionally because I don't want to meet you outside of work."

"That's not true at all, as I've said, to make you a more well-rounded surgeon, I've decided you need to revisit the basics."

"Sure, Dr. Roberts but if this lesson doesn't end soon then I might revisit my decision to specialize in neurosurgery and try another field, like cardio. Dr. Plum has been pushing me towards her field since my intern year."

He chuckled, "you're a tough cookie." a server walked over and offered him eggnog. He took it without thanking the woman.

"I just need to know," Olivia said, "why the shift? We've had a great working relationship since my first year. It can't be because I have a new car or I got some flowers. I know I've been out for several weeks but that wasn't voluntary and I still work just as hard as I have before."

"As I said, I'd be happy to discuss over dinner." He took a sip of his eggnog. "This is delicious."

The front door opened and Fitz walked in. He was wearing black pants, loafers, and a black wool sweater with a Hermes belt. Olivia turned around and saw him and squealed and dashed over to him. She forgot all about her conversation with Dr. Robert. Fitz tossed his Goyard duffle to the ground just in time to catch Olivia in his arms. "Kiss me," Olivia demanded. He lifted her slightly off the ground as he kissed her softly on the lips. "You didn't tell me you were coming tonight?" she said, unable to contain her smile or excitement. She checked to make sure none of her matte red lipstick transferred to his lips. It didn't. Fitz glanced over her and smirked, too distracted by her dress to respond. "You like it?" Olivia asked as she did a small spin for him, oblivious to everyone watching them.

"You'll find out just how much in a minute." Fitz ran his fingers down a strand of her hair and then pulled it behind her back, exposing her shoulder and then caressed her cheek. "You're beautiful."

Olivia blushed and smiled then took a breath to calm herself. She was against his chest now as he gazed into her eyes. "You're freaking me out looking at me like that,'' she joked. "and I still can't believe you're here tonight."

"I finished early so I came back early," he said with a sly smile.

Fitz let her go for a moment and Olivia leaned up. He pushed up the sleeves of his sweater to his forearms and small tattoos were now visible. Olivia felt chills. She wasn't exactly sure how long she could walk around, socializing as if her heartbeat hadn't fallen down to her clit at the sight of him.

One of the servers walked up to him. "Can I get you anything to drink?"

Fitz looked over at the bar. "Casamigos and coke." The woman nodded and headed to the bar.

Fitz turned back to Olivia and wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her against him. They began to walk down the small steps that transitioned the foyer to the living room. "I'll say we have maybe 30 minutes max before I drag you upstairs and take your clothes off so I can suck all the juices out of your pussy," he whispered.

Olivia grabbed him tighter, "I'll say we have about 20."

Fitz chuckled and kissed her lips again. "Promise?"

Avila walked up, "Olivia, who is this tall and handsome man?"

"This is Fitz," Olivia said with a smile, "he's my boyfriend."

"You didn't tell us he was coming."

"He surprised me," Olivia said, "he was supposed to come back from his trip in the morning." Avila stretched her hand to Fitz for a handshake that Fitz returned. "Nice to meet you," he said.

"This is my girl, you better treat her good, or you better not come to Mass Gen for treatment if you're sick," Avila warned.

"I wouldn't dare," Fitz joked.

She nodded and stepped closer to Olivia, "we'll talk on Tuesday."

Olivia nodded and smiled as Alva winked at her and stepped off.

The waiter returned with Fitz's drink. He took it without thanking her and once she stepped away Olivia pinched him playfully. "You didn't say thank you."

"We have to pay her and thank her too?" Fitz said.

Olivia noticed he said 'we' when truly, it was Fitz's money but he seemed to be thinking ahead which was terrifying and exciting. She was now 9 weeks into her pregnancy and her chances of miscarriage dwindled exponentially by the day. They were closely coming to a point of no return where they'd be entangled forever by a child and he seemed to be diving in headfirst. Tomorrow, at her second doctor's appointment where they'd run all the tests and Fitz would get a chance to see an ultrasound performed would make it all the more real.

As Avila stepped off, Maya walked over. "Honey, I'm gonna head out," she said to Olivia as she leaned in and kissed her cheek even though Olivia was nestled against Fitz's side.

"Oh, do you want me to order an uber for you?"

"No, I remember how to do it," she said. "I'll see you tomorrow, after your appointment."

Olivia nodded, "bye mom, love you."

Maya walked away, without acknowledging Fitz.

"Bye mom, love you," Fitz said to Maya.

Maya stopped and when she turned around, she was almost red. Olivia almost laughed at Maya's reaction but she held it back. Maya nodded and turned back and continued walking stiffly to the door.

"Fitz," Olivia complained.

"I'm being nice," he said.

Olivia laughed, "what you consider nice isn't really nice."

"I'm nice," Fitz defended and grabbed her and kissed her. Olivia hung on to his arm and blushed when he let her go. She scanned the room and saw Abby giggling with Justin and a few other residents who were staring at them. Olivia pursed her lips and led Fitz over to them.

"This is Fitz, my boyfriend," she said to the group.

"I have a question," Justin said.

"Oh no, no questions Justin."

"What, it's just a question. We were having a debate."

"Here we go-" Olivia said with a sigh.

"I'm dating a girl right, she's a teacher. I make 200k and she makes 45k. Were going on vacation and I'm making her pay for herself and I pay for myself. Abby thinks that makes me an asshole."

Abby interjected, "she had to get a second job to be able to afford the vacation when he could just pay for them both. I feel like if you have a girlfriend you'd obviously want them to go with you and wouldn't make them work a second job on top of an already stressful job."

Justin laughed, "if she wants to go she'll have to pay for herself and if she can't pay for it then she just can't go. I don't want a gold digger."

"What gold is there to dig? You make 200k before taxes which is a lot, okay but it's not in the gold-digging territory. Especially not with those loans you're paying back and she's a teacher, she has a career you're just being a dick to her and it's making me hate you," Abby said.

Justin turned to Fitz, "am I wrong?"

Fitz shrugged, "I have no opinion on anyone's business."

"Dude, I think I love you," Justin said.

"Oh shut up, Justin, you think she's beneath you just admit it and go," Olivia said.

"I don't know...maybe I do," he said.

Abby jumped up and down, "see! How hard was it to admit that."

Olivia chuckled and turned to Fitz, "my friends are very- animated."

"I see," Fitz responded with a smile.

"She's nice but let's be honest, at 200k a year, I could do better than her," Justin said.

"Justin, you're just a dick then," another resident said, "just break up with her and leave her alone."

"I don't have time to date to find another girl. I work 100 hours a week." He rolled his eyes, "let's talk about you, Olivia-"

Olivia shook her head, "no, no, no, we're not talking about me."

"No, no," Justin said, "everyone wants to make me look like a dick. First of all Olivia, you make less than him." Justin turned to Fitz, "what do you make a year in a place like this, like 500k, maybe? I'm close to that. I'll be making that after my fellowship."

Abby laughed, "first of all, you just looked it up, this apartment alone is 300k a year. How would he afford it if he only made 500k? That's more than half his salary which I doubt is the case because Olivia's Benz is 100k and she has about 90k worth of Hermes bags alone in her closet. That's half a million right there. Face it, Justin, you're poor compared to him. Stop trying to compare yourself."

Olivia was shocked. She had no idea Abby had some sort of running tab of her expenses.

Justin shook his head, "if I had a girl like Olivia's I'd be spending money on her too."

"Woah-" another resident chimed in. "Olivia, get him."

Olivia groaned. "I don't like it when you guys talk about me. Talk about something else."

"Bullshit," Abby said, "you treat all your girlfriends like shit. What would Olivia be any different and plus she makes the same amount as your girlfriend."

"She makes the same amount as Daniella but she's hot, look at her."

"Is everyone secretly in love with Olivia- this is so new. First, it's Dr. Roberts, who by the way has been staring daggers at you since your boyfriend walked in"

Olivia turned around and saw Dr. Roberts across the room doing exactly as Abby had said.

"I didn't say I was in love with her," Justin. "She's like a sister to me, since her first year when she would cry when patients were mean to her. Do you guys remember that? Someone would yell at her and instantly she'd be in tears?"

The group laughed but Olivia was ready for the night to end, especially since Fitz was now staring back at Dr. Roberts.

Olivia turned to Fitz, "can we just get out of here?"

"What's going on with him?" Fitz asked about Dr. Roberts.

"It's a long story," Olivia said she checked the time on her phone. It was almost 10pm. Could she end the party after just an hour and a half? She was tempted. On the other hand, the chances of her guest hearing Fitz fuck her into a seizure from the second floor was greater than zero even with the music on. After a moment, she decided but before she could say the words, Dr. Roberts was heading towards them.

Olivia turned to Fitz and her breathing became labored, "please don't say anything to him. I didn't invite him, he's just here to antagonize everyone."

"Why is this man giving you a panic attack?" Fitz asked angrily.

"Because I don't want you two to get into it, please Fitz, just don't engage him. Let me handle it."

She waited for him to agree but he wouldn't. Moments later, Dr. Roberts was standing in front of them. He stretched his hand to Fitz, "I don't think we've met and Dr. Pope never mentioned you."

Fitz didn't return the shake and after a moment it became awkward and Dr. Roberts pulled back his hand.

"Why would she? Unless doctors usually discuss their personal lives at the hospital?" Fitz said. His tone was friendly.

Dr. Roberts chuckled, "well, this is a cold reception. Not sure what I did to deserve this."

"Are you usually warmly welcomed when you show up to someone's house, uninvited?"

The smile from his lips fell and as he was about to respond Fitz pat him on the shoulder, "lighten up old timer, we have more than enough food for some extras. Enjoy the party but if you don't mind, we were in the middle of a conversation."

All Dr. Roberts could do was smile politely and walk away but it was obvious to both Fitz and Olivia he was fuming.

"That's just great," Olivia said, shaking her head, "as if he wasn't giving me enough hell."

"Well, I'd know what you were talking about if you were telling me what was going on like we agreed," Fitz said with a smile.

Olivia rolled her eyes and smiled too, "I will tell you, I just don't want you to get involved."

"Why are you assuming I will…unless he touched you-"

"He didn't," Olivia said, quickly shutting the idea down.

Fitz smiled and shook his head, "there's no puke on the floor so I have no choice but to believe you."

Olivia saw her front door open and then close. Dr. Roberts was gone.

"Look at that," Fitz said, teasing. "Twenty minutes is more than up. I'll meet you upstairs in two minutes." He gulped down his drink and then headed towards a server. Olivia walked to the stairs and headed towards their bedroom. The moment she stepped inside Fitz swept her up from behind and pushed the door closed with his foot. Olivia squealed and then covered her mouth to hush herself. Fitz carried her over to the bed and laid her down.

"Finally," she mumbled.

Fitz laughed boyishly and opened her legs. Olivia stretched down to unstrap her heels and take them off but Fitz stopped her. "Keep them on."

Olivia giggled and leaned back, legs spread on both sides of him and her crotch facing him.

Fitz gazed at her and sighed, "I missed fucking you."

Olivia reached for him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders as he leaned over her. "I missed you too," she whispered, then reached down and unbuttoned his pants. Fitz kissed her as she shoved his pants down slightly and pulled his penis from his boxers. He was thick in her hands and hard as a rock. Olivia moaned just at the feel of him. She stroked him back and forth and heard him moan gutturally. He pulled down the straps of her breast, a little more roughly than he intended and Olivia's breast spilled out. Her nipples looked swollen and he briefly wondered if they were hurting. She'd complained about achy nipples for just over a week but mostly her complaints were about the fact that he wasn't there to lick them.

He drug his tongue over one of her nipples and watched her reaction. She let out a deep, choking sigh...of pleasure. Fitz smiled and took her entire nipple in his mouth and then sucked firmly before letting it out with a pop. Her breathing became hot and labored and she gripped him tighter in her hand. Fitz groaned and began pulling at the crotch of her panties, feeling the need to bury himself inside her. He practically tore off his shirt.

"Baby, I'm ready-" her words got stuck in her throat as she felt Fitz push his way inside her, stuffing and stretching her. She dug her finger in his back as a moan flew from his throat. Her clit began to throb between her legs and she was swelling more and more by the moment. He dropped his forehead against her and thrust faster, barely able to control his need to cum immediately. Two weeks away had him readjusting to her all over again. Olivia reached one hand down and grabbed his ass. She was shaking now.

Fitz knew all her signs and she was close. He was too and suddenly it became hard to control his movement, he was erratic, thrusting evenly and harder still.

"Wait-" Fitz groaned as she became louder under him.

"Mmm...I- can't control it-" she trembled.

Olivia found herself gripping him tighter and moaning an octave higher with each breath until Fitz crashed his lips against her.

When Olivia came she left the bed soaking underneath her with squirt and the load of cum Fitz ejaculated in her when they came simultaneously. He was slow to pull out after a dizzying orgasm. He flipped them so Olivia was on top of him and they were away from the wet spot. He stroked a line from her hair down to the small of her back slowly, unable to keep his hands off her.

His back felt raw against the sheets so he was sure Olivia had scratched him at some point during their sex.

He was still half-dressed with his pants shoved down his ass and his shirt tossed to the side. Olivia still wore her dress though it was pulled down her breast and raised up her waist.

"Are you ready for the appointment tomorrow?" Olivia asked.

"Why do you think I'm here early?"

Olivia gasped, "and here I am thinking you missed me."

He smiled, "I do miss you, just not the appointment."

Olivia chuckled, tired, "I see what you did there."

There was still music from the party downstairs but they both silently decided to ignore it.

"Are you still nervous?"

Olivia shook her head, "I'm 9 weeks now. I feel a lot better now than I did at 6 weeks. Chances of anything bad happening are dwindling every day and once we do the blood test tomorrow, we'll know for sure but if your mom wants to buy all of California for the baby now I kind of think she can."

Fitz chuckled, "tell her that when she comes on Christmas eve. She'll lose her mind."

"Oh god, I'm nervous about that too."

"Why?"

"Your parents have been pretty amazing to me so I just hope when they meet my mom, they're able to get along. My mom has such a strong personality I'm hoping she decides to use the good side of it."

Fitz chuckled, "it'll be fine. They don't have to be friends, they just have to be co-grandparents."

"I still can't believe this is all real," Olivia mused as she hugged him tighter. "God, I love you and freaking miss you, I know I keep saying it but it's just because I missed you so much."

"I love you too."

It was later on in the night and they'd stripped off their clothes and tossed them off the bed. Olivia was sleeping and had been for some time. The music from the party was off and Fitz guessed it was over. He checked the time on his watch and it was just after 1am. He walked to their adjoined closet and pulled on a pair of sweatpants. Camilla shipped over boxes of his clothes during his two weeks out of Boston and Anna packed them away neatly in the closet. After he dressed in the pants he headed downstairs and found most of the apartment empty of guests and relatively clean considering there was a party hours ago except for Olivia's group of friends. They were sitting by the glass wall that separated the interior from the terrace.

"-She's can always get the hotties, her wacko ex-husband was scalding hot, Herman was crazy but he was fucking hot. Now this one is hot and rich. It makes me wonder what the hell is going on with her vagina. I'm gonna have to ask her."

"She's the pretty, softie cry-baby type. Guys like that-"

When they saw Fitz all the chatter and laughter stopped.

"Um...where is Olivia?" Abby asked.

"Sleeping," Fitz answered. "What are you still doing here?" he asked the group.

"We thought it'd be okay if we hung out, there's a lot of liquor and we're overworked," another resident named Shadai said.

"It's late," Fitz countered, trying to be as polite as possible to Olivia's friends but he still needed them out of his apartment, mostly because their mention of Herman annoyed him. He turned towards the kitchen and heard a gasp. It didn't take long for him to realize they must've seen Olivia nail scratches etched in his skin.

He walked to the kitchen and rummaged through the fridge for something to eat. He hadn't gotten a chance to at the party and there was some wrapped up food that looked untouched. He heated the food in the microwave and then headed back to the living room. They were still there.

Fitz sighed, "just lock the door on your way out." He said as he headed back up the stairs with his plate and drink. When he walked into their bedroom Olivia was awake with his phone in her hand. "Your friends are still here."

"Someone texted you," Olivia said.

"Was it important?" He said as he plopped down on the bed with his food.

"It was a girl named Gianna. She was asking if you were going to send her the money she asked for."

Fitz shrugged.

"I'll text her back later."

"Okay, but what is that about?" Olivia asked.

"She's not an ex-girlfriend, she's just someone I used to date. She needs money and she decided to ask me."

"Are you gonna give her?"

"Nope"

"Why don't you tell her?"

Fitz chuckled, "I did but she keeps trying to guilt me into it by telling me about her kid. It's not mine so I don't give a shit. She just hasn't accepted that yet."

"I mean…doesn't she work or something?"

He shrugged and took a bite of his food, "I don't know but sleeping with me fucking 3 years ago doesn't entitle you to check in perpetuity, even if your kid is starving."

"Why did you guys stop sleeping together?"

"Why does anyone stop sleeping together?" Fitz retorted, "and by the way, while you're here asking me 21 questions, your very irritating friends won't get the fuck out."

Olivia laughed and sat up from the bed. She jogged to the closet and pulled on her yellow and black Versace robe and kissed Fitz before she headed downstairs to kick her friends out.

The next morning when Fitz woke Olivia was already up and dressed, sitting beside him in the bed, staring.

"Oh, fuck-did I oversleep?"

She giggled, "no."

"Oh." He sat up and yawned. He was naked again after a second and much more successful attempt at 69 early in the morning."What time is it?"

Olivia checked her phone in her lap, "it's 9:43," she said.

"So wait, you've just been sitting here staring at me."

Olivia nodded, "why not? You're very handsome and you licked me so good this morning-."

"Well, that's obviously true-"

"Jesus, I can't with you," Olivia said as she stood laughing. "Just get ready and don't even think about sex because the last thing I'm gonna do is show up to the doctor's office with cum leaking from my vagina especially if they have to examine me."

Fitz chuckled, "mhmm."

He bathed and dressed and met her downstairs. He expected to see breakfast but there was none.

"Where is the chef?" He asked Olivia.

"I gave her and Anna time off for Christmas."

"What is it, December 21st and they're off already?"

Olivia nodded, "yup because they have children and families and stuff to do to prepare for Christmas. I told them to come back on January 2nd."

"You're kidding? What am I gonna eat?"

"Sorry," Olivia said with a teasing smile, "we'll just have to order food…a lot."

Fitz sighed, "okay, let's go get something to eat before we head to the appointment."

"Who's gonna clean up the apartment?"

"Rebecca, she's the part time housekeeper," Olivia said, "she's coming in at 10:30 and she'll help on Christmas Eve too."

"Who's cooking on Christmas Eve?"

"I was gonna hire caterers."

Fitz frowned, "I don't want caterer food, I want a chef to cook some delicious ass food for me to eat."

"Fine, I'll ask Simone to cook for Christmas Eve, and hopefully she won't hate me for it."

Fitz smiled, "great."

"I'm gonna pay her extra for it," Olivia said, "so don't be so happy."

"Do whatever you think is fair."

"Thanks."

"Let's go," Fitz said.

Olivia nodded and followed him to the door.

They waited in the doctor's office for all of 5 minutes before the nurse came out to see them. It was not the clinic that Olivia had gone to for her first appointment. This office was different and was staffed by some of the best ob/gyns in Boston, it was also quite expensive but with Fitz, it was no problem.

She was checked in by a nurse and had all her vitals taken and blood drawn. After her check in, she was left in the examination room with Fitz. After the nurse left, about 15 minutes later, a doctor walked in.

"Hi mama and papa, I'm Dr. Fencer, you're ob/gyn. I'm just waiting on the results from your blood," she said as she walked to check her computer.

"It's great you guys have same-day results. That's the only upside of going to the hospital."

"Yeah, it's kind of our biggest selling point. We have a lab on-site, a computer can give us results in minutes," the woman said with a chuckle. She was older and had a kind face. "While I wait on that, why don't I start your ultrasound."

"Sounds good," Olivia said.

"So can we find out the sex today?" Fitz asked.

"If you wanted. At 9 weeks the blood test will be almost 100% accurate."

Olivia turned to Fitz as his eyes lit up.

"I don't want to know yet," Olivia said.

"Oh come on, baby, I wanna know."

Olivia rolled her eyes playfully, "okay, only cause I love you."

The doctor typed something into her computer. "We'll get that result with the rest." Olivia glanced at Fitz and he had a ridiculous proud grin on his face.

"So 25 years old, 115 lbs, 5'4, 9 weeks and 2 days and your first pregnancy, correct? No abortions or miscarriages in the past?"

"None," Olivia said.

"How has it been going?"

"Good, no sickness or nausea yet, just sensitive nipples. Very sensitive, very tingling nipples."

"Not a bad symptom, if you ask me," the doctor joked, then she caught herself. "I'm sorry, that was inappropriate. I'm awkward."

"No, you're right. It only bothers her cause I travel for work and I can't…tend to them the way she wants."

Olivia pinched him playfully, "Fitz!"

The doctor laughed. "No, no, that's a good thing. Massaging it and a heat compress is good."

"My mom had the same symptoms when she was pregnant with me."

The doctors nodded and typed something into the computer.

"Ultrasound time," she said, excited as if she was invested in the pregnancy as much as Fitz and Olivia.

"Not transvaginal though right?"

"Uh, no, not unless there is something I really need to look at."

"What does that mean?" Fitz asked.

"If the results come back showing something that's concerning or if I do the transabdominal ultrasound and see something that I can get a better look at via transvaginal."

Olivia turned to Fitz, " the transvaginal gives you a better look at everything but we don't usually do it unless we have to because it's uncomfortable and invasive."

"Do I sense a doctor here?" Dr. Fencer asked

Olivia nodded, "I'm a surgery resident at mass gen."

"Oh wow, that's great to hear. What field?"

"Neurosurgery."

"Nice!"

"So when you do the blood test, what are you testing for?" Fitz asked.

"Her progesterone levels, if they are high, that's a good sign, it means her uterus is taking good care of the fetus, I'm simplifying, of course, if progesterone levels are low, then we just want to be careful and watch her a little closer. Her last test showed progesterone level a little lower than normal but not enough for it to be detrimental to the fetus."

Olivia looked to Fitz and could tell he made the realization that she was keeping that information from him. If he was upset, she couldn't tell.

"With this new test, we also want to test the fetus' genetic information."

"Why?"

"Down syndrome, Edwards syndrome, and a few other genetic diseases so that if you decide to continue or not continue the pregnancy you will have all the information."

Fitz shrugged and Olivia frowned. If there was some genetic disease that affected the baby, that wouldn't change her mind about having it. She wasn't sure if Fitz felt the same and she saw the potential for a big fight because that wasn't something she would back down on. The thought was upsetting her so she quickly shook it from her mind.

"Olivia can you just pull up your sweater for me," Olivia nodded and pulled the hem of her sweater up her torso. Dr. Fencer gloved her hands and squirted gel on her stomach.

"You're pretty flat for 9 weeks. You should at least have a little pudge by now," she said then detached the transducer and took her time gliding it across her stomach until images were visible on the screen and a heartbeat was audible.

"Holy shit," Fitz said when he saw the image of the tiny body on the screen.

Olivia chuckled as she watched her reaction. He was like an excited child.

"How big is it?" Fitz asked.

"Size of an olive," both Olivia and Dr. Fencer said together.

They both chuckled. Dr. Fencer continued to examine Olivia, explaining as she went because Fitz seemed to not run out of questions to ask. Olivia had no idea he was so attentive but he asked questions she didn't know he even thought about.

At the end, Dr. Fencer wiped the gel from Olivia's stomach and then went back to her computer. Olivia pulled down her sweater.

"I got the results," she said. "Just give me a moment to read them."

Olivia and Fitz both nodded.

A few moments later Dr. Fencer turned to them, "so the tests are negative for any genetic abnormality within the range of the test. So that means no down syndrome, Edwards or Patau, which are the most common and can be detected earlier."

"That's good news," Fitz said. "What about the sex?"

"I'm still waiting on that result." Dr. Fencer watched them frown and then she smiled, "I'm kidding, I got it. I told you we're good."

Olivia smiled.

"Are you ready?" the doctor asked.

Olivia nodded. Fitz did too.

"Are you ready?"

"Tell us," Olivia said, playfully impatient.

"It's a little...baby…" Dr. Fencer smiled, "girl."

Olivia's eyes filled with water as she turned to Fitz. He leaned down and kissed her slowly. "We're having a baby girl," he whispered. Olivia nodded and smiled and wiped her eyes. She turned to Dr. Fencer, realizing it might have been awkward for her to witness such an intimate moment.

"I'm sorry," Olivia said.

Fitz was puzzled by Olivia's apology.

"Please, I'm not bothered by love," Dr. Fencer said, "it also helps that you two are a gorgeous couple."

Olivia smiled as Fitz pulled her up and enveloped her in his arms.

"All the results, I'll have the office assistant send to you but that's it for today. You're good to go. I'll see you in 4 weeks barring unforeseen complications." She printed a copy of the last ultrasound image and handed it to Olivia.

Olivia nodded and Fitz lifted her off the table.

Dr. Fencer headed out, leaving them alone.

"We're having a daughter," Fitz said aloud as if just to hear himself say the words again... "You've made me so happy."

"I love you," Olivia said as she pressed her head against his chest. Fitz stroked her hair lightly. "I love you too."

The moment they walked through the doors of their apartment together Fitz pulled off his coat. Olivia did the same and then he immediately lifted her and headed towards the stairs. He stopped halfway up and pulled off her boots and jeans. What other way was there to celebrate the news that there was a healthy baby girl on the way than with celebratory lovemaking.

They didn't make it to the bedroom until after the first orgasm. A few more later and they were cuddled in bed together.

"We should wait until Christmas eve dinner to tell our parents," Olivia said.

"Olivia, you get whatever you want," Fitz said as he rolled over on her and took her nipple in his mouth again. Olivia moaned lightly. They were tender but he was gentle and his tongue gently massaging them made them feel much better.

Fitz leaned up and kissed her lips softly.

"You have to lick the other one too or I'll feel off all day," Olivia said.

He laughed and took his time licking her other nipple. When he finished he leaned up and laid against the pillow. Olivia rested her head back on his chest.

"Are you angry about what happened earlier?"

"Today is a good day, I'm not mad about anything other than the fact that my new favorite word is progesterone."

"I should have told you but it didn't definitely mean anything and it wasn't really the reason I was worried about losing my pregnancy. I just know the statistics and I think that's why I was so worried."

"If you had high progesterone, would you have been as worried?"

"I don't know…maybe not, maybe a little less."

She could hear him exhale deeply.

"Don't be mad at me," Olivia said softly.

"I'm not mad at you but like I told you, I want to hear things from you. I don't want to be surprised and that's happened a few times and I've only been here a day."

"I didn't tell you about Roberts because I don't want you to intervene. Even that brief conversation you had with him at the party…I'm sure he's going to find a way to make me miserable because of it."

"What's going on? Can we start there?"

"Everyone used to tell me he had a thing for me but I never really took them seriously. We had a pretty good work relationship. He always said I was his favorite resident. I used to think that was because I was smart but maybe it wasn't. Anyways, when I went to work the Tuesday after you left, he asked me out for a drink and I was gonna go and bring a friend but it felt stupid so I told him no. He was weird after that but it wasn't until you sent me flowers that he really turned into a little bitch. He told me I was distracted and took me off surgery. Now he has me touring high school volunteers which is literally torture. When he showed up uninvited, he told me that he would put me back on surgery if I went to dinner with him."

"What else happened?"

"Nothing, you showed up, I saw you and lost my mind and ran to you, honestly, I forgot he was there until Abby decided to point him out and he came over to us."

"What are you gonna do?"

"I don't know. I've been documenting the things he's doing but I don't think it's enough to bring them to the chief. They're friends. I'm waiting until he does something pretty concrete-"

"So, you're waiting for him to grope you in a staircase or something?"

Olivia frowned, "of course not."

"So what are you waiting for?"

"They won't believe me, okay, it's not as easy as just running to the chief and telling him. He's the multi-million dollar top surgeon and I'm a resident. I'm the expendable one."

"Fine, if you don't want me to intervene I won't but you've got to figure something out quick. Record him and black Mail him. There are so many things you can do."

"Those are a lot of really good ideas," Olivia said sarcastically.

"I'm dead serious."

"I'll figure it out, don't worry."

"Okay, I'll give you one month and then I'll intervene."

"What?" Olivia sat up, "no."

"Yes." He turned on his belly and stretched. "Figure out what you want for dinner so we can go out and get it."

Olivia sighed and agreed. "I want Chinese."

"Was that so hard," Fitz teased as he turned and kissed her bare stomach.
