3RD POV:

Death the Kid skates through all of the chambers when suddenly a rounded tadpole comes out of nowhere towards him, exploding as it makes contact with him; he falls off his skateboard. "A bomb?!" He looks at the space in shock.

"Kid! Look!" Patty exclaims, and he looks over to the next chamber to see the numerous bombs floating around.

"They're all arranged inconsistently! It disgusts me!" Kid grits his teeth.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Further ahead, Free and Eruka race on for the Kishin chamber, hearing one of the bombs explode. "I heard an explosion!" Free announces.

"It must've been one of the Tadpole Bombs I set! We need to hurry!" Eruka replies, and the werewolf sniffs, smelling something.

"This scent…" He mutters.

"Yes. We're almost there. The Kishin is right up ahead," She mumbles in fear, holding the briefcase closer to her chest.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Maka continues to giggle maniacally, making Crona uncomfortable as they watch the blond as they stand facing each other.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Kid looks at the bombs in front of him. "It disgusts me. What an inconsistent arrangement… Damn it!" He groans.

"Hey, now. Never mind consistency. Let's just pass through. You probably shouldn't stare at them for too long." Liz warns him, but it's too late as he starts sinking.

"Oh no. It's making me sick… I don't feel good…." He groans, trying not to be sick.

"See? What did I tell you?" She snaps at him. "But an inconsistent place to you is like a path full of monsters to ordinary people."

"You're trying your best to explain things from his point of view, but those are bombs. Anyone would be scared." Patty argues.

"Yeah. That's an accurate come back," Liz replies.

"What a trap! Is this the end of the road?! How mortifying…" He groans.

"Whoa! Hold on! The Kishin's gonna revive if you give up now! You're a Shinigami! If you don't go, then who will?!" Liz snaps at him.

"Say whatever you want. I'm the God of scum. Throw me out on garbage day," Kid replies, making Liz sigh defeat.

"Patty. Tell him in your special way," She orders her younger sister.

"Okay," Patty happily complies. "Get yer ass movin', damn it!" She snaps at him, making the baby Shinigami's eyes well up; he gets on his skateboard and collects his guns, going through the bombs as they explode.

"Wow! He's using the blasts to speed up more and more!" Liz marvels as she watches as Kid cries as Kid speeds through the bombs. "But even more incredible was that impression! Amazing…" She looks over at her sister.

"I ain't gonna let you be bored!" Patty cheers.

"Damn it! Patty… You're so stupid! You're so stupid!" He cries as he goes through the bombs.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Further ahead, Free and Eruka continue running as they hear the continuous booming of the exploding bombs from behind. "Hand in there! Just a little more!" Eruka comforts the giant tadpole she's riding.

"Something's coming at breakneck speed. It's going to catch up!" Free warns her.

"We need to inject the black blood into the Kishin, so if we don't protect this case at all costs, Medusa will slaughter us!" She reminds him, clutching the briefcase as she comes close to tears.

"Yeah, just leave it to me," He assures her. "Let me borrow that tadpole you're riding for a bit."

"Huh? What are you going to do with this Tadpole Jackson?!" She asks him, and he stands up, coming to a stop with a grin.

"Oh, I'm just going to get the jump on the enemy."

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Maka continuously laughs in her madness, and Soul struggles to stop his sinking into the craze with her as the little red demon smirks. "Go!" He exclaims with glee.

"It's so funny somehow!" Maka laughs as she wobbles around in front of Crona.

"What? I don't like this. You're all wobbly and giggly… Stay away from me…." Crona says, growing uncomfortable as the blond giggles and swings at the pinkette. "Stop! I hate wobbly giggles!" They strike the Meister with the Demon Weapon into her shoulder, but she doesn't feel any pain from the madness as she pulls the blade out.

"I like them," Maka replies and kicks the Demon Swordsman into one of the columns; she presses a hand to her wound, seeing the black blood on her hand. "It's black!"

"What's with this fight?!" Soul grunts, struggling.

"Do something to me!" The blond giggles as she grabs Crona's head. "Something more intense!" She drives the pinkette's face into the column onto the floor, kicks them while they're down, and giggles. Crona swings backwards with their sword into Maka's chest, but she just leans forward with a crazed look on her face.

"This is madness…." Soul groans.

"It keeps her from feeling fear," The demon tells him as the Scythe Meister and Swordsman clash Weapons. "Her soul and her opponent's soul have nothing to do with this fight."

"Do more," Maka says and looks over at Crona, making them uncomfortable. "Don't you have anything else? Like twisting off or gouging out or tearing this off?" She sticks her tongue out, making the pinkette cower.

"What are you doing, Maka?! This isn't why you decided to do this!" Soul shouts at her as she pulls on her tongue and jumps on Crona's back, chomping on the pinkette's head. "Damn! The madness is about to devour me, too! Hurry up! Or you'll never be able to come back!"

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Maka floats in darkness, watching through glass eyes at the fight, and hears Soul but can't move or speak. "Soul…" She mutters as she watches herself chomping on Crona's head and licking the teeth marks. "Yikes. Talk about embarrassing…."

"It's not that different from how you normally are! So hurry and do what you have to do!" Soul reminds her as she sinks further into madness.

"Yeah. I know. I should be able to do it now… That premonition I had when I was sane… Now that I have the same madness as Crona, I can match our souls' wavelengths. Feel it…" She says and feels something floating and opens her eyes to see a soul, and moves her hand out to touch it. "This is…" She curls around the soul. "...my soul. It really is tiny," She sees a bright light and turns to see another soul floating close by. "That's… It's twisted, but it's the soul of my partner, a great guy who always listens to my selfishness, Soul." She smiles and floats away. "As for Crona's soul…." She says to herself, but another soul appears, and she turns to see it. "That's Crona's soul?" She floats towards it and pulls it towards her. "I'm not sure why, but I sense a very dry wavelength…."

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Maka appears within Crona's soul; she floats above as she looks down at the sandy surface below. "A desert? It looks like a beach… But there's no ocean…." She looks around and sees a familiar pinkette but tiny. "Crona?"

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

"The black blood that I've researched for so long is finally complete. All that's left now is to inject it into the Kishin. You can struggle all you want, but it's no use. This plan will succeed," Medusa informs Stein as they stand facing each other.

"Tell me…" He asks her. "Once the Kishin is revived, what happens to the Demon Sword child? Your black blood research is complete, and you've managed to perfect making it."

"In other words…." Spirit thinks to himself.

"Huh? What a boring question. I ordered it around and wound up raising it to lack independence. That didn't turn out well. It wound up a failure of mine. It's really not that good to be an overbearing mother. Much like your ex-wife, I imagine," She jabs at the madman, who doesn't even flinch.

"None of that matters. He's your kid. What are you going to do with him?!" Stein asks, crushing his cigarette between his fingers.

"Quit it…" Spirit snaps, growing angry.

"What are you so irritated about? You sound ridiculous. I don't need to tell you what you already know. It's irrational to constantly carry around things you no longer need. I'm going to throw it away, obviously. Why do you ask? Do you want it? Sure, you can have it as a hand-me-down. You can use it for your experiments or something." Medusa says, angering both single fathers.

"Why, you - !" Stein grits his teeth and goes to attack her, but Spirit reverts back to human form, stepping towards the Witch, grabbing her by her top.

"You!" He growls.

"Yes?" She asks him.

"Why…you…!" He tries to form a sentence but is too angry by her words.

"Oh, come on," She sighs. "If you want to talk to me, at least have your words ready first!" She strikes with her small snakes, sending him back to Stein.

"Spirit! Weapon's shouldn't be so reckless…." Stein warns him, watching the redhead sit crossed-legged on the floor. "Yeesh. Don't cry. You're a grown man. It's unbecoming."

"Damn it! Being a parent myself, it's like, umm…." Spirit says as he wipes the tears away. "I'm not sure how to put it, but it's unforgivable!"

"If a parent abandons a child, who will ever have faith in that child?" The professor asks.

"Yes! That feeling! That's what I wanted to say!" He replies. "In any case, we absolutely will beat her!" He stands to his feet, wiping the last of his tears.

"That's been the plan from the start," His partner replies.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Child Crona stands alone in their dry desert-like soul, looking around the deserted wasteland. "What should I do?" They ask themselves and use the stick, drawing a large circle around themselves. "This place is my area… The line is drawn…." They drop the twig into the sand and look around. "What should I do?" They ask and kick the sand. "Kicking up the dirt doesn't create any good ideas…." They look up at the sleeping sun. "What showers clown on me is lifeless sunlight…." They drop into the sand. "Doing nothing is the best thing to do…." Crona sits in the sand within their circle alone when a shadow of themselves appears in front of them.

"Hey," Shadow Crona greets. "I'm Crona."

"There it is. It always appears whenever I do nothing," Crona thinks to themselves as they look at the shadow.

"Can I ask you some questions?" They ask the pinkette. "Here goes, then."

"And then the self-questioning starts, even though I don't want to do anything…." Crona sighs. "Can I say I pass?" They ask.

"That's up to you," Shadow Crona tells them. "Okay, here are my questions. Tell me what your name is."

"Pass."

"How can you not answer what your name is? Is there a reason for it?" They ask the pinkette, who repeats the word. "Basically, you can't answer other people's questions. Which is why you're asking yourself questions like this to try to preserve your mind, right?"Crona repeats the word again. "Another pass? This isn't even self-questioning at this point. Wouldn't you agree?" They repeat the word. "Are you hoping someone will notice you if you act troubled like that? But don't you realise that no one actually cares about your suffering?" Crona repeats and adds another line to the tally of how many passes they've done. "That makes five passes… Let's change the subject a little, then. The little one you beat up for your very first time… How did you feel after you defeated it?"

"Pass," Crona says.

"It must've felt refreshing, huh? Finding an opponent weaker than you…." Shadow Crona asks the pinkette, who repeats their favourite word. "That's how you felt, which is why you didn't question Lady Medusa when she told you to seek power, right?" They ask.

"Pass," They say again.

"You're quite strong now. How does that make you feel?" They ask, and the pinkette repeats the same word again, totalling the tally to 10 passes. "Has that helped you drive away the Hell inside your head?" They keep asking questions but get the same response. "Just answer a question already, will you?" A tear appears in the eye of Shadow Crona. "Won't your Hell just grow larger otherwise?" Crona repeats the word and adds another tally. "41 passes… That's how much you've denied me. You're a terrible person. The worst…" Shadow Crona begins to cry.

"I don't remember you ever criticising me. Why do you keep hanging around me? Because of you, everyone around me gets hurt, and so do I. if only you didn't exist…." Crona sulks, burrowing their head in their arms.

"Are you serious? Do you think you have a split personality now? Surely you at least know that that's not what I am. I'm just an ordinary emotion that everyone has. It's easy to say that as a way to escape, isn't it?" They ask the pinkette.

"It's just…." They mumble.

"Because you don't know how to interact with others? This is how you've gotten stuck in self-denial. Where are you trying to go?" Shadow Crona asks them, and the pinkette repeats the same word again, and there's a tense silence between the pair. "We've had enough of this. I'm going on ahead" They disappear, leaving Crona alone, and they pick up the stick, adding another tally.

"42…" They mumble and think back to their second encounter with the blond Meister and begin balling his eyes out. "I was able to answer then… I'm Demon Swordsman Crona…"

"I know," A girlish voice replies, and Crona looks slowly over to their right to see Maka as a child in a cute little dress. "Grrr!" Crona cowers away at the cute petite blond, getting to their feet, backing away, making her giggle. "Can I come in there, too?" She asks, stepping towards the circle.

"Wait! You can't!" The pinkette exclaims, waving their hands to stop the young Meister.

"Huh? What do you mean?" She asks them.

"Don't come inside the line. This is my place," They tell the blond.

"Huh? What, now?" Maka asks them and steps inside the circle, much to the pinkette's shock.

"That can't be…." Crona mutters. "This isn't good… How come you can come inside so easily? No one should be able to…."

"A line, huh?" She asks, looking at the drawn circle.

"I don't know how to interact with others, so I feel at ease when I'm in here. It's no use. It's meaningless now that you're inside it…." The pinkette begins to cry.

"This line is easy to erase!" The blond states, kicking the sand, much to Crona's horror.

"S-Stop! Don't do that!" They protest as she kicks away the circle

"There!" She announces, patting the dirt from her dress. "It's gone!" Crona looks at the empty space in horror.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Teen Crona yells as spikes appear everywhere; the little demon looks shocked as they watch the pinkette scream. "What the - !" Soul looks in shock. "A transplant rejection?!"

"Soul!" Maka calls for her Weapon.

"Maka!" He calls back.

"Pull me back from the madness! Hurry!" She tells him.

"No, you don't!" The demon shouts.

"Hang on!" Soul shouts and reaches forward.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Soul jumps down into darkness, splashing in the water, and crouches down as he searches for his Meister. "Where are you, Maka?!" He shouts, and he spots the blond. "Hand on!" He dips his fingers into the liquid, glowing as he reaches for his Meister. "It's hard!" Maka moves towards him, their hands' inches from each other.

"Damn it!" The Demon curses as Soul pulls Maka free from the black blood, and she snaps out of it.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Maka snaps out of her madness once she's free. "How's Crona?" She asks Soul, looking at the pinkette.

"We're back!" Soul mutters, and the blond looks at the screaming pinkette, and she walks over to one of the columns, placing the scythe down. "Hey! What are you planning?!"

"Just wait a minute, Soul," She tells him, and he knows what she's planning on doing.

"You'll get skewered if you get close to him!" He warns her, but she just smiles and turns to face Crona.

"Stay away!" The pinkette screams, and a spike slices across the side of her neck.

"Hey!" Soul shouts.

"Don't be scared. It's all right," Maka tells Crona with a soft smile and walks towards them as spikes continue to hit out. "You're just a little shaken up now that the line is gone." A series of tips hit her, catching her side, and Crona whimpers. "It's… all right…." The blond steps towards them and falls towards them, leaning against them, shocking the Demon Swordsman. "Now I can understand it… Your wavelength…" She slowly wraps her arms around the rigid form of the pinkette. "It's not that you don't know how to interact with people. It's just that no one ever came to interact with you."

"It's all right… I've already been given up on anyway…. I know… I'm not needed anymore… I decided just now… It's okay. I'm going to disappear now…." Crona replies, and Maka pulls away from the hug, and she takes out her book and hits the pinkette over the head.

"So…" She says and takes her glove off, offering her hand to them. "Will you be my friend? Please?" She asks, and Soul looks at his Meister with a fond smile, glad he listened to Rebecca, though he doesn't understand how she appeared in the room. Crona looks at her as she smiles at them, and tears well up in their eyes as they look at her hand.

"You can't be serious…." Crona cries. "I don't know how to interact with others!" They cover their face as the tears keep coming.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Child Crona cries within their soul with child Maka with her hand reaching out for the pinkette, and they take the hand, and their soul becomes better as water appears.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Soul watches his Meister and the Demon Swordsman in front of him as he sits leaning against the column. "The fear of interacting with people, huh…." Soul mutters and thinks to himself about his friends, especially a certain greenette. "Even I'm afraid of that…."

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

"The madness can't be suppressed, huh?" Soul questions. "You couldn't have been any more wrong. Besides, music doesn't suit you as a hobby, either." He walks through the door, and it closes behind him.

"He left," The demon remarks as he sits in the chair, twirling the key around his finger. "Well, that's all right. The door will always be unlocked. Still, that girl's power…." He mutters as he thinks back to Crona and Maka hugging. "Could it actually be an exorcism wavelength?"

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Stein and Spirit, now in Weapon form, face off against the Witch Medusa, who senses the shift. "The black blood has stopped…." She announces.

"It would seem the fight at the second barrier has ended. Both of their souls are starting to calm down." Stein announces.

"What about Maka? Is Maka all right?" Spirit asks his Meister.

"Yes," He answers. "It looks like she managed to grasp the Demon Sword's soul wavelength. The Demon Sword's wavelength has also been stabilised."

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Crona continues to cry as Soul and Maka watch over the pinkette. "I've never cried this much before…." They weep. "Now I'm not even sure how to interact with my tears…."

"Maka. We're running out of time," Soul warns her, and she looks over at him. "Let's hurry ahead."

"But we can't just leave him like this," Maka replies, feeling sympathetic.

"Just our luck…." He sighs.

"Screw you guys!" Ragnarok snaps, shocking all of them, as the Demon Sword appears from Crona's back and hits the blond in the face, starting to attack her. "Screw you, dumbass!"

"Whoa! You're tiny!" Soul exclaims as he watches the scene.

"What the hell did you do! Why am I so little now?!" The Demon Sword cries out.

"What, what? How should I know?!" She yells as she tries fighting him off.

"Why, you - !" Soul shouts as he tries pushing the Demon Sword away from his Meister.

"You and Crona, being friends? That's a load of cr p! Who'd wanna be friends with someone like this?! He ain't any fun at all!" Ragnarok shouts.

"Quit it…" Crona tells him.

"I got it! You wanna bully him, dontcha?! That's it, isn't it? Kicking his butt is perfect for relieving stress! That's what you want, isn't it?!" He shouts.

"Get away, runt!" Soul snaps at the Demon Sword.

"Well, too bad! I'm the only one who can beat up Crona! You can't have him!" He yells.

"Quit it…" Crona mutters and grows more upset. "Quit it!" He yells and punches the Demon Sword under the jaw; much to everyone's surprise, Ragnarok seems stunned for a second before shouting. "Gwargh!"

"Gwen?" Meister and Demon Weapon look at the scene in shock as the Demon Sword attacks the pinkette.

"How dare you punch me, Crona!" He shouts. "Do you know how it feels to be hit by you?! Do you?!"

"N-No…" Crona stutters.

"It's like, you know! It feels like when you haven't cr pped for three days and three nights and then get a toilet water splash-back bonus when you unload it all!" The mini Ragnarok shouts.

"I can't understand from that crude comparison…." The pinkette replies as they fight with the Demon Sword as he tries to lift up the skirt of their dress.

"I've heard enough of your impudence!" He snaps.

"I'll handle this! You guys go ahead! I'll hold him off here!" They promise.

"Hey now!" Ragnarok screeches.

"Quit it, you pervert!" Crona cries as he lightly taps on the Demon Sword's head.

"Uhh…" Maka mutters as she watches the scene in front of them.

"Yeeeah, we leave it in your hands," Soul gives Crona a thumbs up.

"S-Someone! Help!" Crona cries, and the partners turn their back to the Demon Sword, and it's Meister.

"Don't die, now," Maka and Soul think before joining the others.

"I wonder if the others caught up with the guys with the black blood," Maka says as she runs with her scythe.

"Are your wounds okay?" Soul asks her.

"Some black scabs have stopped the bleeding," She replies, touching the wound on her neck. "I think they formed when the black blood inside me went away."

"But what made the black blood inside you disappear?" He questions, and she comes to a stop.

"I don't know. That's a good question," The blond replies and looks down at the entrance to the next part.

"Anyway, if they inject black blood into the Kishin…." Soul reminds her.

"We need to catch up with Kid, Miss Stein and Black Star!" Maka says and tightening her grip before jumping down the stairs into the darkness.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Rebecca runs through the chambers, not stopping as she runs, trying to catch up to the baby Shinigami, but she feels a niggling in her mind as she grows closer to the Kishin. She knows what the niggling is; it's the madness wavelength coming from the Kishin, and she worries about her father and herself, knowing that both of them are more perspective on the wavelength than most.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

"It looks like Kid and Miss Stein went this way. I hope they're all right…." Tsubaki says as they stand in the recently destroyed chamber.

"Damn! At least leave me something to do! Plus, it's too dark for me to stand out!" Black Star shouts and kicks a piece of rock that bounces off and comes back at him, hitting him square on the forehead, causing him to fall.

"Your shouting is making you stand out! Let's hurry!" She tells him, and he gets to his feet and rushes through the debris.

"Alright. I'm gonna leave Kid and Miss Stein in the dust!" He shouts.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Kid skates through the chambers as he heads towards the main one. "Everything's a real mess now. It's almost like the entrails of old ruins." Kid says as he skates through the debris

"Don't get distracted!" Liz warns him. "You don't need to look at the mess! Think about symmetrical stuff!"

"Butterfly!" Patty suggests with a bright smile.

"The number 8!" She adds, and Kid comes to a stop. "What is it? Are you having a reaction?!"

"No… I sense the Kishin's wavelength…." He tells them and feels the madness wavelength coming towards them, and can't help but hitching a breath in shock.

"Kid?" The younger sister asks their Meister.

"Are you okay?" The older sister asks in worry.

"Yeah… I've never sensed this much pressure before…." Kid mutters.

"The Kishin is up ahead, right? What's it like?" Liz asks him.

"What's it like? That's a very vague question. My father only mentioned it in passing, so I don't know very much. He defeated Asura and tore off all his skin in order to seal him away," He tells the Weapons.

"Sounds like your dad used to be pretty scary. Why did he do that?" The sandy blond asks him.

"To make a bag to seal Asura in, it needed to hold Asura's soul, body, and madness, you see. So his own skin made the perfect seal. My father removed all of Asura's blood, and stuffed his withered body and soul into the bag. Asura's body is starved for blood." The baby Shinigami explains.

"And that's why he wants black blood?" Liz asks him.

"Probably," Kid replies and steps off, skating towards the Kishin.

"Kid! Heat source detected ahead!" Patty announces.

"What?!" He stutters and sees a tiny speck of light coming closer, growing more prominent. He dodges out of the way in time, looks back and sees a familiar greenette, jumps out of the way as the magical ball of energy explodes, knocking the Shinigami and Death Scythe to the floor.

"Cannon fire?! Where from?!" Kid mutters and looks up ahead to see Free in his werewolf form, smoke steaming out the corner of his mouth and the Magic Eye glowing.

"Magic Eye Cannon," Free announces, and Rebecca jogs towards Gun Meister.

"So, he's the immortal…." He says, and the greenette nods in confirmation. "Damn. I was so distracted by the Kishin's madness that I didn't notice." He steps behind some piece of large debris, and the Death Scythe stands behind him as he fires off a couple of shots.

"Doesn't work on me!" The Wolf Man exclaims.

"An immortal body, huh? Fighting him head on will only be a waste of time. I'll have to throw him off balance and rush past when I get the chance. In terms of mobility, I have the upper hand. Once I get past him, he can't catch up to me! And with Miss Stein here with me, she's a close-range Weapon, she can easily keep him busy while I go on ahead." Kid thinks to himself and looks back at Rebecca, who smirks at him with a nod, thinking the same thing.

"You're not going any further!" Free shouts and rushes towards Kid and Rebecca, who jump out of the way as he swipes at their feet.

"Two swipes at my feet! So he is trying to reduce my mobility!" He exclaims and shoots out at the immortal man as Rebecca jumps behind the werewolf.

"I am immortal!" He shouts, and the greenette takes a swipe at the immortal man, who dodges out of the way as she jumps over to join Kid.

"In that case - ! Here goes!" Kid yells. "Soul Resonance! Execution Mode!" He floats into the air, Rebecca steps away from him, giving him space as the Weapons grow more extensive, and he lands down into a crouch.

"Resonance rate stable noise at 1.8%. Four seconds to feedback," Liz informs her Meister. "Three."

"Two," Patty adds.

"One," Liz finishes.

"Ready to fire!" She cheers as the energy builds up in the guns.

"Death Cannon!" He exclaims, locking onto the werewolf in front of her and firing at him. Rebecca looks on, impressed by the young Shinigami, looking at the intense explosion, and the Thompson Sisters revert to their usual gun form. "That should've done something."

"I am immortal!" Free shouts, jumping out from the smoke.

"What?! Not even the Death Cannon can make him flinch?! This distance isn't good!" Kid shrieks, and Rebecca grabs him by the waist. "I need to put some distance between us for now!" She jumps both away, keeping them a reasonable distance away from the Man with the Magic Eye; they look at him as they stand facing each other.

"Just as I expected. He won't come after us needlessly. He only wants to prevent our progress. If we try to get past him by force, we'll literally get tripped up." Rebecca thinks to herself and looks at Kid, seeing his brain at work.

"Think…" He looks around at his surroundings. "I know I can connect things somehow… Think…" His eyes flicked around at the broken piece around him. "Okay! I've connected them!" He announces, and the greenette looks at the young Shinigami. "That pillar and this pillar used to be part of one pillar!" He yells, pointing over at the debris. "And that piece lying against the wall was in the middle! Oh! Now it all connects beautifully!" Rebecca signs as she looks at him as he excitedly points at the debris, and he stops, paling a little, sulking. "No, that's not necessarily what I'm thinking. Well, actually, it does bother me, but…."

"It's okay, Kid! Try to focus!" Liz assures her Meister.

"Yeah…" He replies, still sulking.

"If you wanna play a puzzle game, I'll join you. I love puzzles," Free comments.

"How dare you mock me!" Kid sneers, looking up at the Wold Man. "Damn… Where the hell are that statue's broken arms?!" He looks around the room. "W-What the hell?! That statue's trunk is junk! Shut up! That's a stupid joke! No, that's not right. Stop it. That pillar… Could it go over there?" Kid begins to lose focus, his eyes flickering around the chamber.

"Kid!" The Thompson sisters yell, seeing his eyes beginning to go around.

"Pillar, statue, trunk, left, down, up, right, trunk…." He mutters.

"This is bad. The mere fact that Kid could enter this chaotic room was amazing enough! But at this rate, his mind will be worn down until he goes mad!" Liz groans, watching Kid scratch at his head. "He's using one of his reactions!"

"Sis…" Patty mutters as the older sister panics.

"We gotta do something!" She shrieks, and Rebecca smirks as she watches the young Shinigami and steps towards the Wolf Man. "What do we do?! We gotta change the feeling in the air!" As if her prayers are answered, Black Star speeds over to join them, jumping at Death the Kid, kneeing the boy in the back.

"Yahoo!" Black Star cheers as the baby Shinigami falls to the floor.

"Sorry we're late!" Tsubaki says, being polite as always.

"We caught up! We, no, I win! Too bad! No Kishin revival for you!" The loudmouth yells, and Rebecca sighs and helps Kid to his feet, who turns to face the blue-haired assassin.

"Fool!" Kid growls. "The person with the black blood is further ahead!"

"What?! That's not good!" He yells and looks at the greenette and ravenette. "What are you doing here, then?" He glances over to see Free. "Whoa! Where'd you come from?!" The Thompson sisters look at Black Star in shock but jump out of it slightly.

"Nice, Black Star! Now we can get Kid to focus on the werewolf!" Liz exclaims. "Kid! Look!" He complies, looking over at the Wolf Man. "That man has a ball and chain on his left foot only!" She points out, and he looks over, spotting it.

"So he does. It disgusts me!" He replies with a glare.

"Yes!" The Sisters cheer.

"Hey, you! No one's allowed to stand in my way!" Black Star shouts. "Let's go, Tsubaki!"

"Yeah!" She agrees, and he runs towards Free with Rebecca as Kid shoots.

"Let's give them backup!" Kid tells the sisters.

"Bring it on!" Free growls. "The other runts are the problem…."

"Here we go! Speed Star!" He shouts, speeding up, vanishing quickly before appearing in a crouch in front of the Immortal Man before jumping up into the air.

"He's fast!" He growls and looks up. "Above?!" He sees the blue-haired assassin spinning before dropping down, slashing at the werewolf, who jumps out of the way as he readies his blade. Black Star jumps into the air with some flair and jabs his knife into the stomach of the Wolf Man.

"Crap!" Free looks down at the knife, half of it still visible, and sees the greenette approaching them as the blue-haired assassin slashes upwards.

"Nin!" Black Star yells.

"I am immortal…." He mutters, and Rebecca joins the assassin.

"We're just getting started!" She snaps, and the pair begin slashing randomly at the former prisoner and Free keeps trying to dodge the attacks.

"What the - ?! Are these kids joining around?!" The Wolf Man groans as he dodges the pair, and Kid watches them.

"There's something strange about this… He never tried to avoid any of my attacks, but he's desperately trying to dodge Black Star and Miss Stein's… Why?" Kid wonders and drops his guns to his side. "Oh!" He gets to his feet and walks over to the fighting threesome, and they stop when his figure walks over. "Now I see. We've been had."

"H-Hey!" Black Star stutters as he looks at the baby Shinigami.

"Are you sure?" Rebecca asks him.

"What's the deal?! Don't make me tear you apart!" Free warns him.

"My favourite number is eight," Kid states. "Go ahead and try, if you dare. But…you can't do anything as you are now."

"Looks like the jig is up," He grins and reverts back to human form; Kid walks over, putting his face in the chest, spooking the blue-haired assassin.

"Whoa!" He exclaims.

"I see. I see," Rebecca smiles.

"Magic Eye. Is this your spell?" The baby Shinigami questions.

"Yeah. Spatial magic. Forwarding Vision," Free explains and a glowing green rectangular prison around him. "It displays a live image of me in a specified location."

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

"How dare you go berserk on top of my Tadpole Jackson!" Eruka snaps at Free as she runs in front of her tired tadpole. "You'll pay for this!"

"It's not my fault! This is the only way we can keep moving forward!" Free hisses at the white-haired Witch.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

"How did you figure it out?" Free asks Kid.

"You never tried to dodge my shots. But you didn't want Black Star or Miss Stein's attacks to hit you. Because we'd realise you're just an image if he actually touched you. I assume that the initial cannon blast came from behind the image. To make the image seem like the real deal. Plus, people generally prefer to attack immortals from a distance. It was a nice trick that utilised that trait." He walks through the image of the Man with the Magic Eye. "But the real question is!" He points a finger through the image at the blue-haired assassin, staring in shock. "Why didn't you notice when you stabbed him?!"

"Well, you know me!" Black Star replies with a big grin. "I figured I had unleashed such incredible moves that I couldn't even feel it stab him!"

"Nonsense!" Kid snaps, poking his head through the image of Free. "Besides, Tsubaki should've released it too!"

"I just thought he had improved a lot, too…." She replies with a sheepish look.

"Oh, geez. Blind parental love has nothing on blind Weapon love." Kid groans at the ever faithful Weapon as he pokes his head through and walks back towards the others. "Damn! They just bought themselves a lot of time!" He steps towards his discarded skateboard. "Let's go, Black Star, Miss Stein!"

"Yeah!" He replies and rushes forward, jumping over the image of Free. "I need more action!

"Roger that!" Rebecca yells and runs after the blue-haired assassin, and Kid skates behind them; the Wolf Man chuckles to himself as the image of himself disappears.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

"You have such good, honest students, Dr Stein. They got caught up in all the assignments I gave them. You sense it too, don't you? It appears the Kishin's madness has started to overflow…." Medusa muses as she chuckles to herself.

"Here we go, Spirit," Stein mutters.

"Yeah!" He agrees, and Stein readies himself.

"Losing your cool won't get you anywhere now. Say. Tell me…" She says and moves, using the tailcoat of her outfit as a seat, her feet not touching the ground. "How do you raise a good child?"

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Further beyond in one of the hallways leading to the chamber holding the Kishin, the giant tadpole grows weaker with the more prominent male onboard, crashing to the floor. "Tadpole Jackson!" Eruka exclaims and goes to his side, patting the weakened magical creature. "Are you okay, Tadpole Jackson?!"

"Look at this, Eruka," Free calls her over.

"What?" She asks and looks ahead of the even narrower, long hallway and at the end, they stand the grand entrance of the Kishin chamber; the white-haired Witch cowers behind the muscular man. "The Kishin must be through here…."

"Let's hurry! Those kids will catch up soon!" He warns her and walks towards the grand doors with Eruka fidgeting behind him. The Wolf Man pushes the door open slowly to see the darkened chamber, and a wave of air rushes out, the place fills with tension, but Free walks inside with Eruka behind slowly. The white-haired Witch feels something moving behind her and spins around, looking at the bottom of one of the pillars but sees nothing there; and hears something squeaking and turns back to see nothing. Instead, she hears a soft hissing noise and breathes heavily in fear, shaking her head to clear her mind and running towards Free. Eruka comes to a dead stop in fear and slowly turns around to see nothing, her fear getting the better of her, but when she turns around, she comes face to face with a tall figure wrapped in bandages; they wrap around her neck, choking her as the lift her off the ground.

"F-Free…" Eruka squeaks, but he doesn't hear her as he walks on, her hat falling to the ground as the Kishin reveals his mouth; she looks in horror as his mouth grows larger and bites onto her face, tearing it away. Then, finally, the frog Witch lets out a scream of fear that the Wolf Man hears and spins around to see Eruka on the wooden floor, cowering, covering her face with the rim of her hat as he rushes to her side. "My face! No more! I'm going home and hibernating!" She cries, shaking in terror.

"Your face? What about your face?!" Free asks her in a panic and crouches in front of her. "Hey! Pull yourself together!" He pulls her hat in front of her head, revealing her face wrapped in bandages with a large grin, the Immortal looks in shock, and blood sputters out of his mouth, and he looks down to see Eruka's arm through his chest; he looks back as she wiggles her fingers and the Witch attacks his neck. The white-haired Witch pulls back and rips the skin from his face, spinning her head around.

"An immortal like me,..dying?" Free groans as the madness wavelength affect the two as Eruka holds a large pointed needle to her neck, blood dripping down as Free holds a large blade, cutting halfway through his neck. Then, finally, the pair snap out of their suicidal madness, throwing away the dangerous objects to the floor, blood on the end of each piece. "What the - ?!" He shouts as the frog Witch cries out in terror. "What am I doing?!"

"What? It was an illusion?" She questions, her whole body shaking.

"This is the Kishin's madness," He wonders, rubbing at the back of his neck; they hear rattling within the darkness before them, and both look forward as something within the bag begins to move. "It's…back there…."

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

"There's no time. We need to defeat Medusa and hurry to the Kishin at once, but…." Stein says in a low voice and snaps forward with his arm out, trying to attack the Witch, but she dodges out of the way, extending her reach around him.

"Got you!" She yells; he turns around as she kicks out; he's able to block it but only barely, still stumbling backwards, but he keeps his footing, and she returns to her original position, and three vector arrows appear on either side of her.

"Stein!" Spirit shouts and the Meister blocks the attack, and she races towards him, he slashes at her, but she dodges with ease and volts over him and goes back to the same position.

"No matter what swinging technique she uses, the snakes under her always keeps her balanced! This woman leaves no openings! What do we do?!" Stein thinks to himself with gritted teeth.

"Medusa hasn't made any attempts whatsoever to end this fight. She's simply trying to buy time," Spirit warns his Meister, who takes a breath to calm himself down and clear his mind.

"She probably knew from the start that I can't beat her with my head filled with bothersome thoughts." He thinks to himself.

"Stein! Are you out of it? You have no edge to you any more. The clear sense of danger you used to give off is gone now!" The redhead snaps at him.

"Be quiet," He replies, raising his hand. "I'm trying to bring it back now. I'm seeing too much of what's around me right now…." He closes his eyes. "Get rid of everything that's unimportant. What drives me is curiosity. What's most important is what intrigues me. Focus on that…." His body loses its tension as he focuses on nothing else but the blond Witch in front of him, and he cracks his neck, hearing the loud pop from the escaping gases.

"The tension in his body is leaving…." Spirit thinks as he looks at the madman as he stretches. "DWMA's greatest Meister sure is an easy guy to read…." He watches him closely as he twists the screw on the side of his head.

"What is it I want to do, you ask? Isn't that obvious?" Stein asks with a smirk, and Medusa looks at him.

"He's just a sadistic pleasure-seeker…." The Death Scythe mutters as Stein looks up with a crazed look.

"I want to dismantle!" He grins, and Medusa looks at him with a chuckle.

"How adorable. It makes me want to tease you," The Witch replies, and Spirit looks at his Meister with a crazed grin.

"Yes… I almost forgot that it's my job to control this insane fool." Spirit sighs and remembers their time at the Academy and how the grey-haired man's tendencies became worse when he became friends with Savannah and even worse when they got married.

"I'll say it again. Join me," Medusa says, and Stein's grin grows bigger. "This never-changing repetitive world doesn't suit you. Let us use the inconceivable power of the Kishin to bring change and evolution to this dreary world."

"Long ago, I was analysed by foolish electors who feared my violent tendencies and selfish thoughts!" Stein informs her and runs towards the Witch. "They had elated looks on their faces," He swings at Medusa as she dodges, "as if they were solving the puzzle in a mystery novel! They'd theorised their hearts out, wondering if something happened in my past, or if I'd come into Contact with a bad influence of some sort!" She strikes out, but he blocks, redirecting the blow and hits back, pushing her hands. "What a bunch of nonsense! I've always wanted to break things apart from the very start!"

"Are you trying to say I'm the same as those doctors?" Medusa asks and attacks him, using her vector arrows, sending him backwards.

"When I was in kindergarten, I would get nauseous whenever I saw the kids listen to the teacher and play games. I would almost piss my pants at the sight of everyone focusing on the chalkboard and taking notes!" He replies.

"What kind of story is that? Talk about boring. It almost makes me nauseous," She teases him and strikes out at the professor, and runs towards her as he runs, hitting the projectiles away, and he crouches down as he swings at the bottom were the anchor, but she spins over his head, but he doesn't give up and swings around. Then, finally, Medusa sees the hit coming and blocks it with one of her arrows. "Are you mocking me? Your tiresome attacks have no flair to them at all… I'm so bored I could piss my pants."

"Now, now. Don't say that. This is my answer to your invitation. As I matured and grew stronger, the bounds of the madness inside me expanded. Do you know what it was that stopped me?" He asks her, thinking of his ex-wife and daughter.

"Fear," She readily answers.

"Yes, I was afraid. Afraid of what kind of person I would become. Even though the only thing I cared about was that I had fun! That's why I needed it. Not the frustrating rule of a greedy despot…." Stein replies and moves his hand. "...but the rule of a God without an ego."

"So let us create rules for a new world," The Witch tells him.

"That's your ego talking, isn't it?" He questions.

"No, but that will become the standard before long. A standard that you will follow, too." Medusa replies, and he strikes out, swinging at her as she dodges and jumps away; he turns around to attack her as she creates a drill using one of her arrows and thrusts her arm forward into his stomach. Stein sputters out blood, feeling the pain, and thinks of Rebecca at that moment, which clears his mind; the thoughts of his beloved daughter, their shared ideas, were always calming to the pair.

"Stein!" Spirit calls out to his Meister, who falters a little as the Witch chuckles to herself and pulls her hand back, and he falls to his knees. "You'll just get struck back like this if you attack with sheer force!"

"What will happen to my immoral feelings for Gods before ego becomes the standard? I cannot go along with you!" Stein tells Medusa, looking up at her, and she retracts her arrows.

"I guess there's no getting through to you," She replies.

"I want to rip things apart without immoral feelings!" He shouts, using his soul wavelength.

"So that's how you use your madness, huh?!" She exclaims and sends out a horde of arrow projectiles as he races towards her, the sharp edges stabbing him without a care as he continues to attack her, much to her shock.

"What?!" She yelps.

"Soul Force!" He shouts, striking her in the chest, and arrows disappear like drops of blood drip onto the floor and sputter out of her mouth.

"He did it… But he took too much damage for that one hit…." Spirit sighs to himself.

"I think I might have overestimated you a little…." She spits out more blood and looks him in the eye. "This is the most you could do after turning down my invitation?" She asks and forms another arrow, pointing directly overhead. "It's all over. I'll remove your head for you."

"Spirit. Not one move," Stein warns the redhead, who looks at him in shock as the arrow comes to a sudden halt, to the surprise of the Witch.

"What?! My tail snake stopped?! No, my whole body has!" Medusa exclaims in surprise as she tries to move.

"Soul-thread Diffusion Sutures," He replies with a calm look.

"What are you talking about? You haven't sewed me anywhere…." She argues.

"Take a closer look," He corrects her, and threats of sutures glow all over her body. "The threads are inside your body as well. I've blocked every nerve in your body with it."

"So what? Why don't you strike me down now with the scythe in your right hand?" She asks him. "There's no time to waste right?"

"It takes real accuracy to control such an enormous wavelength. Focusing on that takes all of my effort. I can't move a single finger," Spirit informs her.

"As a last-ditch effort don't you think this is pathetic? Did you invent these rules for fighting yourself? Do you plan to have a cowboy-like shootout the instant you release the threads? It's pointless. My snake is already at your neck.. It'll lop your head off long before your Scythe can reach me. I somehow doubt wavelength-control of this magnitude can't last long. As soon as it's released, you will die and the Kishin will live again. You haven't the slightest chance against me." The Witch says, her eyelids closing slowly.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

"That's it," Free informs Eruka as they stand within the Kishin chamber in front of the skin bag holding the first-ever Kishin.

"That?" She asks as she looks at the skin bag with three eyes.

"Yeah. The bag," T confirms. "It was probably originally an object of worship but wound up looking like this after sucking up the Kishin's madness." He looks up at the shrine-type structure that holds the Kishin with chains wrapped around it to keep the bag.

"Fribbit rog cribbit frog! Ribbit ribbit!" Eruka casts after placing the white briefcase onto the floor, and it lands on its side, opening to the large vial of black blood and a giant syringe that pops out, the needle growing more significant as it floats towards her. The Witch ensembles the syringe and fills it with black blood, throwing the vial of blood to the floor. "All set. This is it," She steps forward, and the doors burst open; they turn to see Death the Kid on his skateboard.

"The black blood is in that syringe!" Kid exclaims and uses the thrusters on his skateboard to race towards the white-haired Witch and Wolf Man. "Take this!" He stops and goes to smash into the frog Witch.

"Eruka!" Free yells, and steps in front of her, stopping Kid's attack, but he spins into the air, higher and aims his guns at the pair, seeing the bandaged face of the Kishin.

"What - ?!" Kid exclaims at the image of the Kishin wrapping the bandages around the legs of Kid, who fires his guns at the idea, but it does nothing. "What is this guy?!"

"He's hallucinating too! Now's our chance!" Free tells Eruka, looking at Kid as he lies on the floor, firing at nothing above him.

"Yeah!" She complies and jogs away; Free sputters blood and looks down to see another image of the Kishin with its hands in his chest.

"Damn… Not again! I feel like I'm about to go crazy… I'm getting sick of this!" The Wolf Man groans to himself as Kid is wrapped in bandages and pulled towards the image of the Kishin.

"Calm down. What you're feeling is the Kishin's madness wavelength, which you've felt plenty of times on your way here!" Kid tries to calm himself down.

"This is a hallucination!" Free and Kid shout, and the images of the Kishin disappear; Kid lands in a crouch.

"Where's the black blood?!" The young Shinigami mutters to himself, sees Eruka running towards the Kishin bag, and raises his twin pistols, but the Immortal steps in his way. "Out of the way!" He shouts and fires.

"Definitely smarts more than before!" Free shouts as he blocks the hits, and Kid continuously fires.

"The werewolf can't move if I keep aiming for the black blood! Now, Black Star, Miss Stein! Go!" He shouts as they come running into the Kishin chamber.

"You got it!" Black Star shouts.

"Let's go!" Rebecca shouts as they run, passing the young Shinigami.

"Be careful! The Kishin's madness can make you hallucinate!" He warns them.

"Don't worry about me!" The loudmouth replies. "My sixth sense sucks! I practically don't feel any madness at all!"

"Excellent!" He chuckles as the blue-haired assassin runs past him.

"Yahoo!" Black Star shouts as he jumps into the air with a spin.

"Heads up, Eruka!" Free shouts.

"Enchanted Sword Mode!" He orders.

"Fribbit rog cribbit frog!" Eruka yells, creating a tiny tadpole in the palm of her head. "A fresh-made Tadpole Bomb!" She throws it towards the blue-haired assassin, but it's too close, and the explosion gets her too as she falls to the floor, and so does Black Star. Rebecca spots the syringe of black blood and runs towards it as Eruka gets up with Black Star further in front as he runs over.

"Alright!" He shouts as he runs, and Rebecca stops in her tracks, feeling a shiver down her spine.

"No, you don't!" She shouts, and water pours down onto her head; she looks up to see the Kishin over her, drooling over her and lets out a shriek. "It's a hallucination! Hallucination! Hallucination!" The image disappears, and she sighs in relief but shrieks as she sees Black Star raise his katana over his head.

"Alright!" He exclaims.

"That's not fair! Time-out!" Eruka exclaims.

"Gotcha!" Black Star yells as he slices down, but the syringe jumps away; he sees Tadpole Jackson has thrown the needle to Eruka, who catches it.

"Good boy!" She smiles; Rebecca steps forward but feels someone standing behind her; she looks to see the Kishin; she sighs, not affected by it.

"Kill them!" The image of the Kishin whispers into her ear; she looks at it in surprise. "You know you want to. Kill them. Dissect them into pieces." Her lips begin to spread into a smile. "That's it, kill them!" She steps towards Black Star, her arm forming into a blade.

"I must kill them," Rebecca mutters to herself; she grins, placing her hand on her face, pulling at her eye socket, swirling her tongue around with a crazed look. Kid spots her and falters for a split second.

"Becca!" Kid shouts, and it snaps the greenette, who thrusts her blade into her leg, causing her to cry in pain as she falls to the floor.

"You damn amphibian, getting in the way! Take that!" Black Star beats the tadpole.

"Tadpole Jackson!" Eruka weeps for her friend. "I won't let your bravery be in vain!" She runs towards the bag, thrusting the needle into the bag.

"Dammit! No, you don't, frog girl!" Black Star shouts as he runs towards her as she struggles with the syringe.

"Hurry, Eruka!" Free shouts at her as he blocks Kid's attack, unable to move.

"Stop her, Black Star!" Kid shouts.

"Enchanted Sword Mode is at its limit… No, I don't care if my muscles rip!" Black Star shouts and jumps into the air.

"Please… Go in!" Eruka yelps.

"Too late, you damn girl!" He shouts. "Gotcha!" He lands, slicing the syringe of black blood, everyone stares in shock, and the needle falls to the ground with black blood splattered across the floor. "I did it…." His sword reverts to knife form. "We won…" He breathes heavily at the different use of the Enchanted Sword. "No revival for the Kishin!"

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

"This is a gamble. And the odds are really against us… Medusa is focused on defence, so the only way to bring her down is to go on the offensive halfway. We've managed to come this far. However, the instant the sutures come undone, there will be a clash…." Stein thinks to himself as the Weapon-Meister focus. "And, just as Medusa says, I'll be the most likely to lose. But instead of imagining myself being beaten, all I'm able to imagine now is Medusa being dismembered. My only choice is to bet on what little odds I have!" He opens his eyes with a crazed look as they feel the basement shaking as the Kishin awakens.

"W-What's that?" Spirit questions.

"What's going on?"

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

Above the underground basement where the Kishin resides, three large glowing balls of energy float over Death City as it grows darker and red clouds of darkness. "The madness is taking control…." Stein announces.

"It couldn't be! Kid's group failed?!" Spirit questions, and Medusa chuckles to herself with glee. "The Kishin is reviving?!" The glowing balls of energy open with sparks becoming three eyes, the symbol of the Kishin.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

"Now we've done it…." Eruka mumbles as she stares ahead.

"This can't be…." Kid mutters as he looks in shock.

"Hey, wait! We won, didn't we?!" Black Star exclaims as he gets to his feet and thinks about that moment, sure that he'd sliced the syringe.

"Your desperate strength wound up working against us…." Rebecca replies, looking down at her leg, keeping the blade in.

"Look closer! What you cut was the thing itself!" Kid corrects him, and Black Star, in shock, turns to see behind him.

"What irony…" She mutters in spite, hating the fact they were unsuccessful.

"You were so focused on destroying the black blood that your sixth sense kicked in when it shouldn't have. At the very end, you started hallucinating…." He adds.

"That…can't be…." He falls onto his side in defeat, spotting the syringe in the side of the bag, empty. "We failed!" A hole appears underneath the Kishin bag, creating a large gust of wind that bursts through the chamber.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

"They weren't able to stop it…." Spirit groans, and Medusa chuckles to herself.

"Too bad. We win," The sandy blond laughs hysterically, and Stein grows angry, letting out a shout and slicing the Witch in half.

"He did it. I missed it…." He mutters in shock as he watches the Witch's body fall. Stein lowers the scythe to the ground, and arrows rush from the bottom half of the body as Stein laughs to himself, watching the body explode into smaller arrows.

"Disappointing, isn't it?" Stein mutters as he fishes out one of his cigarettes. "The moment you were certain the Kishin revived, your sense of accomplishment gave me an opening." He lights it with a match. "How ironic. I managed to win thanks to the Kishin," He takes a drag and looks up to the ceiling. "But how the Kishin has revived. In the end, I lose. Even so…it feels very refreshing!" He laughs maniacally as he stands in the bloody rain.

*** CHAPTER SEVEN ***

"Damn it!" Kid shouts as he runs towards the awakening Kishin. "Die!" He angrily shouts at the Kishin but stops after a while, seeing it doesn't have an effect and lowers them to his side.

"it#s no use…." Free gawks at the undamaged skin bag, and slowly ahead appears out as it stretches, moving around under the layer of skin.

"I-It's coming out…." Eruka stutters in shock as she watches the body move around slowly as it begins forming arms and falls to the floor, moving around as it tries forming its body.

"The bag…it's attaching to it!" Kid mutters in shock.

"Fascinating…" Rebecca mumbles as he watches as it forms arms and moves around, scratching at the wooden floorboards and slamming its hand down repeatedly. Then, the Kishin moves forward, trying to tighten its skin around, falls to the floor with a thud, and gives a sickening grin.
