"So that was what we call the sensation that is Faunus Zwei, what do you all think," Yang asks to all of CVFY, and Penny.

"It was pretty good, the kiddo's got a lot of potential that's for sure and he's a cute kid," Coco said.

"He was! I didn't grow up with any siblings so I really enjoyed watching this," Velvet said with a smile.

"Maybe, but from what I could hear he seemed a bit rude," Fox said unbiasedly

Qrow chuckled, "That he got from his mother."

"I only hope they bloom into great fighters," Yatsuhashi sagely said.

"I wonder how Rosemary and Zwei will be as hunters," Yang said.

"Two monsters in the making," Jaune said, half joking half serious.

"Well, let's see what the theater has to show us this time," Oscar said, eager to see what this next world shall bring. He didn't know why, but he had a good

feeling about this one.

"Jaune?! Jaune?! It's time to go to school!"

The blond begrudgingly opened his eyes to the sounds of hands hitting the door to his room.

"Mom, stop banging on my door!" Jaune growled, rolling over to cover his eyes with his pillow. "I can't get any sleep with the noise!"

"No, Jaune. You haven't gone to school for nearly 2 months, and I'm putting my foot down! How do you expect to make new friends at school if you stay in your room all the time?!"

Jaune sat up in his bed and threw his pillow at the door. "I don't want to be friends with any idiots at school! HelI, don't NEED to go to school. I'm smarter than the teachers there too!

"Look it's Jaune-Jaune! And he's… arguing with his mom," Nora said, her tone changing from excited to confused.

Yang turns to look at her fellow blonde with a questioning gaze, "Is this normal for you VB?"

Jaune looked at her baffled, "You kidding me? If I talked this way to my mom she would ground me for a month with no tv or internet!"

"So it's another alternate Jaune again, that seems to be a common trend," Oscar theorized.

June Arc sighed as she walked away from the door. She had tried to get Jaune to come out of his room for the past 3 weeks. When her son had come home from school near the beginning of the school year, saying he didn't want to go to school anymore, she didn't question it. She could see how sad and angry he was, and allowed him to stay home for a week. But then a week became two, then three, then a month. He almost never left his room, let alone socialize with kids his age.

If only her husband, Arthur was here. He could at least talk to him, but he was busy with research in England.

But based on his last message to her, he was going to send something that would help their son. June didn't know what it was, she just hoped it got there soon.

"So blondie is going through a rebellious phase? Sounds about right," Qrow commented offhandedly.

"'It's not a phase, Mom!'" Nora said with a mock-angst tone.

The group of young huntsmen and huntresses, Jaune included, shared a laugh at Nora's commentary. Sometimes it's good to make your own comedy.

Jaune laughing, "oh… that was good."

Jaune groaned as he landed back in his bed. He didn't need to go back to school. He wasn't just bragging when he said he was smarter than the many teachers. Jaune Arc had a genius-level intelligence, something he took pride in. Even more though, he knew how to use it. It was the reason he stopped going to school, the teachers and students hated how much smarter he was, and the bullying became too much to bear.

"She doesn't get it. Those moronic apes couldn't teach me a damn thing," Jaune said to himself with a scowl.

He jolted up when a muffled voice entered his room. "You know, you shouldn't talk to your mama like that!" A high pitched voice squeaked out. Jaune looked over his room in a panic, trying to find the source of the voice.

He looked out of his window and saw a small boy with freckles, looking to be no older than 7 or 8. He was wearing nothing but a pair of boxers, and was hanging on to the talons of a large hawk. To add on to it, the boy had a large yellowtail fish on his back, wiggling around trying to get free.. Jaune stared at this unusual sight for a few seconds for laughing and turning on his side.

"I-Is that Oscar?" Ruby asked.

"I think it is," Ren replied.

"Friend-Oscar, why are you riding along an eagle," Penny asked the farm boy.

"I'm not really sure why Penny," Oscar said looking at his on-screen self with a baffled expression.

"I believe the bigger question is why is he only wearing his underwear in broad daylight," Winter adds.

"He must've been going fishing by the looks of it, judging by the fish he's carrying," Coco said, tilting her sunglasses.

Velvet decides to follow up, "But that just goes back to the question of why he's riding the-"

"CAN WE PLEASE JUST WATCH THE SCREEN SO WE CAN STOP ASKING QUESTIONS?!" Weiss shouted.

"Geez Weiss Cream, and you say I'm hot headed," Yang said teasingly.

"I guess that candy bar in my desk was bad!" He chuckled as he closed his eyes. "I'm seeing stuff now. Nothing a little nap can't cure"

"Hey, don't ignore me!" The little boy cried out. He steers the hawk right though Jaune's window sending shards of glass everywhere. Jaune screamed as the glass hit him, causing small bits of pain dotting themselves across his skin.

Jaune jolts back, "Oscar, my room! Why?!"

"It's not me! I don't know what he's thinking!" The farm boy yells.

"He's making an entrance, you're doing great cute boy Oz!" Nora shouts to the screen.

Coco laughs, "Guess some things don't change."

Velvet raised an eyebrow at her leader's comment, "What do you mean Coco?"

Coco only shook her head, "Just reminiscing, Vel."

"Hey are we going to ignore how Arc seemed to shrug off getting pieces of glass hitting him? Or am I the only one to notice," Fox inquired.

"I was also wondering about that, suppose that Aura does not exist in this world, which seems to be a common occurrence in most of these worlds, how would he be able to recover from that much glass in that short amount of time," Whitley asked.

"Because he's Jaune-Jaune, Little Boy Weiss," Nora replies as if it were the all knowing answer to everything.

Whitley stared at the ginger huntress in bewilderment, "But that doesn't answer-"

"Whitley, from my experience she won't give another answer," Weiss cuts in between her brother and Nora's conversation. Having been and knowing full well how long this talk could drag on for, something she didn't have the patience to endure.

"Not a dream! Definitely not a dream!"

The boy ignored the teens screams, walking up to him and handed him a letter with a silly grin on his face.

"I'm Oscar Pine! Your dad spent me from England to France! He told me to give this to you when I got here."

Jaune, intrigued by the mention of his father, ignored the light pain and snatched the letter out of the boy's hand and began to read the letter.

Dear Jaune, It's been awhile hasn't it champ? I heard from your mom that you haven't been to school in a while. Now I get that going there doesn't really challenge you so I understand if you don't want to go back. But, I figured you would be bored at home doing nothing, so I sent you Oscar to look after. Well, him and his mysterious book. It has this weird language that I can't read, and Oscar can't remember anything at all. Family, where he came from, nothing. I found him lying in the forest near death with that book. Since I can't really take care of Oscar or learn about the book with my current workload, I'm sending the little tyke and his book to you.

Love, Dad.

"What the heck Dad?! Why would you send a missing child to our house! Then have ME take care of him," Jaune screamed, bewildered by this version of his father's logic.

Emerald narrows her eyes at the male blonde knight, "So what would you do Blondie? Report him to the police, file him as a missing child only for him to not turn up anywhere and be sent to an orphanage. Only for the poor kid to run away from every shitty home that didn't want her and be forced to live on the streets?!"

Jaune and many other audience members stared at the mint haired illusionist of Cinder's group with shocked expressions. Many had not expected or were prepared for this kind of outburst, so the room became very silent for a few seconds. Jaune was about to apologize for bringing up a bad memory, when someone spoke before him.

"Emerald."

This was all Cinder said, immediately grabbing the former thief's attention.

"Cinder?" Emerald asked.

"You're making a scene. Reel yourself in," Cinder coldly said.

Emerald opened and closed, having no words she could say so she did what her mistress wanted. Only muttering a small apology for her outburst.

Many members from team's RWBY and ALPN had mixed feelings about Cinder's cold indifference to Emerald's past. They either felt bad for Emerald or were angered at Cinder's control over her.

A look from Ozpin told them that it was best not to handle this at the current moment, so they returned to watching the viewing.

"Here!" Oscar squeaked, holding out a green book. He had covered himself up with a green cloak. "I'm going to go eat my fish!"

Jaune took the book from Oscar and stared at the book for a few seconds. Oscar as Jaune stared at the book grabbed the still wiggling fish, opened his mouth and began to scarf the fish down in no time flat.

"Whoa! That little kid ate that fish like a freaking piranha!" Fiona said in both amazement and shock.

"Yeah! That's our boy, eat that fish!" Nora cheered for the onscreen Oscar.

"Fishie, NO!" Ruby cried out.

"Aw, now I want fish," Blake muttered.

"This is what Dad sent me? Some snot nosed brat?!" Jaune began to shake in anger.

"So… Where do I sleep?" Oscar asked as he finished his fish.

"No where!" Jaune shouted as he ran toward oscar. "You're gonna get lost! Oz… er… whatever your name is!"

At that moment, Oscar's eyes went white and the book began to glow. Oscar's mouth opened and a bolt of lighting came out and nearly hit Jaune. The teen eyes widened in horror and dived out of the way.

"Whoa! The hell? Since when could the kid spit lightning out of his mouth?!" Mercury leaned back in surprise.

"Huh, that's surprising," Nora said.

"What? The fact that my other self can shoot lightning out of my mouth," Oscar asked.

"Well yeah, but I'm more surprised he didn't fire pine cones out of his mouth," Nora states.

Oscar along with Jaune, Ren, and RWBY look at her with puzzled expressions.

"Why pine cones?" Ren dared asked his childhood friend and partner.

"Please, Oscar Pine, 'pine' cones, it makes more sense than lightning," Nora clarified her point. Then as though a lightbulb flicked on in her head, Nora grabbed the farmboy's shoulder and hugged him, "That means we're Thunder Buddies! Oh!~"

"N-Nora! I can't breathe," Oscar strainingly said.

Jaune's voice became a whisper. "What the hell are you!"

Oscar's eyes returned to their normal green color, and he looked down at Jaune. "What are you doing on the floor silly?"

Jaune could only think of doing one thing at that moment. Calling for his mom. "MOOOOM!"

XoxoX

"You're just a cutie pie aren't you, Oscar!" June cooed. "Oh, I could just eat you up!"

"Mom, didn't you hear me?! He came in on a hawk! He shot lightning out of his mouth!" Jaune waved his hands frantically as he spoke.

June sighed as she turned to look tiredly at her son.

"Jaune, did you eat that candy bar on your desk? I told you it wasn't any good."

"Just look at the glass from the window! And all the cuts on my… arms?" He tried to point at the cuts, but they seemed to have disappeared. "I…. I think I need more sleep."

"See, even he acknowledges it!" Whitley shouts, pointing at the screen.

"That's just Jaune-Jaune being modest," Nora brushes off.

"I… I have no words," Whitley mutters in defeat, not wishing to spend an undisclosed amount of time arguing with Nora.

"Poor kid, didn't have a chance," Yang said while shaking her head.

Fiona giggled quietly at the lamenting boy, it wasn't every day one saw a person out talk a Schnee. Especially one who was supposed to be the heir to the SDC.

"Yes dear, you clearly do. Kids can't shoot lighting out their mouths. Isn't that right, Oscar?" June's voice raised to a cutesy tone.

Oscar parotted June. "Yeah, kids can't shoot lighting!"

"Does he not recall having that capability?" Winter asked out loud.

"It is possible, Mr. Arc's father did mention that this world's Oscar had no memory of his past so he must also not remember any abilities he may possess or be capable of doing," Ozpin theorized.

"So the kid is a gun that doesn't know he's a weapon, that sounds like it could get bad pretty fast, especially if certain people learn about it," Qrow comments.

"Or see opportunity in his abilities," Salem chimes in, contemplating all the possibilities and advantages of having such a being on her side.

Cinder, like her mistress, was thinking similar thoughts.

Jaune glared at the younger boy and began to walk back to his room.

"If you're going back to bed, take Oscar with you! Poor thing must be tired after such a long trip."

Jaune's blood ran cold at the suggestion.

"On second thought I'll just go to school!" He said as he rushed out the door. "I'll be taking the brat's book, bye!" He ran as fast as his legs could take him out of the door.

"You sure know how to rest a guest VB," Yang teased.

"Different world, different me," Jaune responded.

"Jaune! Don't take Oscar's book!" June shouted after her son, but by that point Jaune was already gone. June sighed and sat Oscar down in a chair as she starts to cook something up for the boy. "I'm sorry Oscar. Jaune wasn't like this a month ago."

"I know, Sir Arthur told me." Oscar replied, watching June start to cook. "That's why I'm here, to help Jaune become a better person!" June laughed a bit and patted Oscar on the head.

"Well, I'm happy to hear that Oscar. Thank you."

Many of Salem's faction gagged at the diabetic levels of optimism this world's Oscar Pine held.

Jaune looked at his school with a huff. He had promised himself he would never come back to this place, but he was standing at the door of homeroom class.

"Well, Mr. Arc, I'm surprised to see you back here." A snobbish voice called out. Jaune turned to see his homeroom teacher, Peter Port. Jaune never liked Port, the old man spent more time babbling on then actually teaching. And from what Jaune could tell, the feeling was mutual.

"Well, I am. And I'm ready to start 'learning' again." Jaune said, forcing a smile on. Port stared at Jaune for a moment before walking back to the front of the classroom.

"Wow, I can't believe I'm going to say this but… I highly prefer our version of Professor Port than this one," Blake said.

Members of her team, JNR, and CVFY either nodded in agreement.

"The Peter I know loved to teach his students, especially those that excel in their studies. He would encourage them to flourish, not seek to belittle them," Ozpin said, also voicing his displeasure with this world's version of his longtime colleague and friend.

"Very well. Go take your seat and wait for class to begin."

Jaune sighed and walked over to his old desk. It looked the same as it did last time he was here, if a little dustier. He took his seat and as more and more students came in he heard the whispers and the glares.

"Oh look who's back. Guess he thought he was finally deemed us worthy enough to grace us with his presence."

"Smarty pants Arc is back? Ugh, why couldn't that asshole stay home?"

The Jaune in the audience heard the things the other students were saying about his other self, it brought him back to his starting days of Beacon. Only then the other first years were speaking the opposite, saying that he was far too weak to be considered a huntsman or were asking how he could have possibly been able to pass initiation in the first place. He remembers how it felt to be looked upon by judging eyes and mentioned in muttered words, he hated that feeling. But in the end they were not far off from the truth, as back then he was many of those things.

He feels a hand on his shoulder, when turned to see who it was he half expected to be met with emerald eyes, but instead it was the silver eyes of his fellow leader and friend meeting his gaze. Ruby offers a comforting smile and a squeeze with her hand, to which he smiles and nods. It reminded him that he was where he's supposed to be.

"Renny I wanna break their legs," Nora said in a cold and threatening ton.

Ren said nothing to stop her, only stared at the many faces of these students and did his best to mask his negative emotions via his semblance.

"No wonder he didn't want to go to school, if this is what he has to hear every day I wouldn't want to go either," Oscar stated.

Many of the younger audience members who recalled making jokes about Jaune being a jerk in this viewing felt theirs insides turn, guilt plaguing them.

Jaune grit his teeth and tuned them out, taking out the book he had taken from Oscar, deciding to read that over listening to Port's boring despite looking it over in every angle he could only read one line colored in.

"The first spell: Ozkeriu," Jaune muttered to himself. "What does that mean?"

"Arc!" Port shouted. "Since you seem to want nothing more than to daydream, let me take you back to reality. Answer the question on the board!"

Jaune lazily raised an eye to the board and answered. "A=14 B=2 C=10."

"Oh. That's right." Port turned back to the board and continued his lecture.

"Strange. This instructor asked Friend-Jaune to answer the question, yet he seems displeased that he answered correctly," Penny said, perplexed as to why this Port was being so antagonistic towards one of his students, his best one to be specific.

"That's probably because he was hoping to catch Jaune off guard and embarrass him in front of the class, it's something some petty teachers do to get back at kids they don't like," Yang tells the android girl.

"Embarrass him? That's… doesn't seem right," Penny replies.

"That's because it's not," Blake said.

'Seriously old man? Gonna get on me for reading?' Jaune thought to himself leaning back in his chair. 'Most teachers would beg their students to read,' Jaune sighed and tried to go back to the book but heard the whispers again.

"Smart ass. Why bother coming if you're too smart to learn?

"What a prick, stop looking down at us and go home jackass."

"You make us all feel like idiots and then look down on us for it. Go home you dick!"

Jaune didn't say anything or look at them. He waited for the lunch bell to ring so he could go home.

Weiss glowered at the students in the background, she oremembers also having the eyes of envy and jealousy placed on her for not only her grades but her status as well while attending Beacon. To see that these same looks and comments were being cast upon someone like Arc were infuriating.

"Seems like no matter what kind of school you go to, you'll always have some dumbass kids making stupid remarks," Coco sighed.

"Do they really think that by bullying him they are somehow better than him?" Fox remarks.

"That's just stupid," Velvet said, Yastuhashi nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, just because he's different doesn't mean people have the right to step all over him. They need to back off," Ruby said with conviction in her voice. Her other hand that was on her lap was clenched in anger at these students, she recalled when Jaune had once been bullied by Cardin in their world, so seeing it happen again in another it made her very angry. They had no right to talk that way to him, he was her best friend and- ...what else was she gonna say?

Fellow leader? Yeah, that must be it.

Oscar looked up at Jaune from the bag he had disguised himself in when he followed him to school. He saw that most of the time that guy with the thing on his lips spoke, Jaune was busy reading the book he had taken from him instead.

"How is he supposed to learn anything if he doesn't pay attention?" Oscar thought while watching the older boy.

"Arc!" Oscar turned to see the teacher barking at Jaune to answer a question, which he did with ease. Oscar looked at Jaune with wonder in his eyes.

"Jaune's really smart!" Then Oscar heard the whispers from the other teens.

"Smart ass. Why bother coming if you're too smart to learn?"

"What a prick, stop looking down at us and go home jackass."

"You make us all feel like idiots and then look down on us for it. Go home you dick!"

"Wow, these students are pretty petty aren't they? Like it's blondie's fault they're dumb," Emerald remarks.

Mercury laughs, "Nice one!"

Oscar was shocked to hear such things come from the other students. Why were they so mad that Jaune got the answer right? The boy turned to look at Jaune's unreadable face. When he saw Jaune get up, he stealthily followed after him. Seeing that Jaune was walking toward the gates to leave school, he started to call out to Jaune. However, someone beat him to the punch.

"You're leaving already Jaune?" Oscar looked up to see a pretty girl around Jaune's age. She had long brown hair, and she was looking at the blonde with a hint of disappointment and sadness. "It's only lunch, and you haven't come to school in so long. Please at least stay until the end of the day."

"Hey look Vel, you're finally on the big screen! Smile for the camera," Coco said.

"It is me! Wait, where are my ears…?" Velvet couldn't help but ask, noticing the lack of a secondary pair of bunny ears on top of her alternate's head.

"Maybe Faunus aren't a thing in this world?" Oscar suggested.

"That would be the logical answer." Ozpin mused.

He didn't meet her gaze. "It's not a big deal Velvet. It's not like I can learn anything here." Jaune muttered. Oscar wondered why he didn't, they seemed to be friends… she wasn't getting angry at him, at least.

"Oh seem like the two of you know each other. Childhood friends? Or… maybe more," Coco gave Velvet a teasing look and got slightly shoved by Velvet.

"Cut it out Coco," Velvet whined a bit.

"Well… I wanna hang out again like we used to back when we were kids." Velvet's eyes lit up. "Maybe I can use the excuse of you tutoring me like we use-"

"Stop." Jaune's voice was quieter, but both of the people in the courtyard could still hear him. Velvet looked at Jaune in confusion.

"Stop what?" She asked.

"Stop acting like you care. I don't want, nor do I need, your pity."

Yatsuhashi glares at Jaune menacingly. "There is no need to be rude to her."

"It's fine Yastu. I get it," Velvet said quietly, touching his arm.

"But!"

"It's fine. I get why he's like that."

Yatsuhashi's eyes remained on Velvet for what seemed like minutes, only breaking eye contact once he began settling down.

Oscar chose that moment to jump out of his bag. "She's not pretending, you big dummy!" Oscar shouted. "She just wants to hang out with her friend again! What are you being such a jerk for?!"

Jaune's blood ran cold at the sight of Oscar. Once he got over the shock, his voice rose into an unholy screech "What the hell are you doing here?!"

The screech was so long the audience held their ears because it hurts so bad.

Yang nurses her ears a bit, rubbing them, "Jeez! What a way to end it. Why does it seem like all your versions have big lungs Jaune?"

Jaune's face was red with a bit of embarrassment, "Next world please."

Just then a man's scream came from the screen, a light of red aura flash over everyone.

"What the hell was that?" Emerald asks frightened.

"That… sounded like dad!" Ruby gasped

take a guess what next guys. heh heh.
